Lk 9:28-36, (KJV)
28  And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.
29  And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.
30  And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias:
31  Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.
32  But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him.
33  And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said.
34  While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud.
35  And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.
36  And when the voice was past, Jesus was found alone. And they kept it close, and told no man in those days any of those things which they had seen.

Lk 9:28-36, (MKJV)
28  And about eight days after these sayings, He took Peter and John and James and went up into a mountain to pray.
29  And as He prayed, the appearance of His countenance was altered, and His clothing was dazzling white.
30  And behold, two men talked with Him, who were Moses and Elijah,
31  who appeared in glory and spoke of His exodus, which He was about to accomplish at Jerusalem.
32  But Peter and those with him were heavy with sleep. But fully awakening, they saw His glory, and the two men who stood with Him.
33  And in their parting from Him, it happened that Peter said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here. And let us make three tabernacles, one for You and one for Moses and one for Elijah; not knowing what he said.
34  And as he was saying these things, a cloud came and overshadowed them. And they feared as they entered into the cloud.
35  And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is My Son, the Beloved, hear Him.
36  And when the voice occurred, Jesus was found alone. And they were silent, and told no one in those days anything which they had seen.

Lk 9:28-36, (NASB)
28  Some eight days after these sayings, He took along Peter and John and James, and went up on the mountain to pray.
29  And while He was praying, the appearance of His face became different, and His clothing became white and gleaming.
30  And behold, two men were talking with Him; and they were Moses and Elijah,
31  who, appearing in glory, were speaking of His departure which He was about to accomplish at Jerusalem.
32  Now Peter and his companions had been overcome with sleep; but when they were fully awake, they saw His glory and the two men standing with Him.
33  And as these were leaving Him, Peter said to Jesus, "Master, it is good for us to be here; let us make three tabernacles: one for You, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah" not realizing what he was saying.
34  While he was saying this, a cloud formed and began to overshadow them; and they were afraid as they entered the cloud.
35  Then a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My Son, My Chosen One; listen to Him!"
36  And when the voice had spoken, Jesus was found alone. And they kept silent, and reported to no one in those days any of the things which they had seen.

Lk 9:28-36, (LITV)
28  And about eight days after these sayings, it happened: also taking Peter and John and James, He went into the mountain to pray.
29  And in His praying, the appearance of His face became different, and His clothing was dazzling white.
30  And, behold, two men talked with Him, who were Moses and Elijah.
31  Appearing in glory, they spoke of His exodus, which He was about to accomplish in Jerusalem.
32  But Peter and those with him were pressed down with sleep. But fully awakening, they saw His glory, and the two men standing with Him.
33  And it happened in their parting from Him, Peter said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here. And, Let us make three tents, one for You, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah, not knowing what he said.
34  And he saying these things, a cloud came and overshadowed them. And they feared as they entered into the cloud.
35  And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is My Son, the Beloved; hear Him! Psa. 2:7; Isa. 42:1; Deut. 18:15
36  And as the voice occurred, Jesus was found alone. And they were quiet. And they reported to no one in those days, nothing which they had seen.
