    Seattle Churches?

I was hoping someone could help me find a good temporary local Seattle church.

My oldest daughter, Susie Shifflett, has reoccuring leukemia; she is back again to Seattle (Hutchinson Center) for...

    Re: Christmas celebrating

Dittos to Mrs. Gill. The way I figure it, all the names of the months, the days of the week, the symbols on currency, etc. are pagan; so, unless you reject all of them, just have a Merry Christmas....

Re: update on tatoos being sinful

The way I figure it, since our body is a temple of the spirit, then getting a tatoo is equal to spray painting graffiti on the church building.

Or, have any of you ever noticed the graffiti on...
  9. Poll: Re: How do we properly understand what God has purposed in history?

I have to go with B. It is the only spiritually logical answer.

    Re: Particular, Primitive, Reformed

Interesting tidbitatation: The PBs do refer to their communion as "close", as opposed to "closed".

    Re: Particular, Primitive, Reformed

As far as I know, the Primitive Baptists differ from the others mostly in reference to the purpose of the gospel, as in not necessary for regeneration.
I realise that many do not recognize the...

    Re: Charismatic Gifts

Most people want a sign directly from God. They walk by sight and not faith. They tend to believe that non-charismatics are out of touch, that they have the "inside track". They focus on this...

    Re: Christian Music

Amen dittos to the Christian c-rap music. (C-rap: Christian rap; doesn't make exact sense, but it rhymes...close enough).

    Re: How should we pray?

I generally pray from the human view of the situation, figuring that the Lord made us, knows how our brains function, what really is best, etc. and will take it from there. I don't try too hard to...

Re: Gospel Regeration and John Gill

A number of Landmark Baptists also believe in direct Holy Spirit regeneration as do, of course, the Primitive Baptists. From what I have ascertained it is not a whole lot of them, but a growing...
