Life is difficult to say the least.........very hard actually at times for each of us. The Lord God has left us here for His purposes, to conform us to the image of His Son Jesus, to test and try our faith, to grow us in His grace and knowledge, to be a light in the darkness. The good news is that one day our faith will be made sight, He is preparing a place for us and will return, He has promised.

In the meantime, as we sojourn here, one of the most profound priveleges is that we can go boldly to His throne and find peace and solace there. Following is an old english hymn that has been set to a contemporary tune and sung by a group called "Selah". It is the Truth of the words that bring me the joy and comfort needed for my soul.

Before the throne of God above
I have a strong and perfect plea
A great high Priest whose Name is love
Who ever lives and pleads for me
My name is graven on His hands

I know that while in heaven He stands

When Satan tempts me to despair
And tells me of the guilt within
