A Fresh Examination of Bible Truth on Christ's Final Advent
...There is no unfulfilled prophecy in the Bible except the final appearance of Jesus Christ. In the very hour that man thinks the Lord cannot come, he will descend from heaven with all his saints and angels. History will suddenly come to its predestined climax! The kingdoms of both light and darkness will continue to grow and bear additional fruit until that moment. How much further each will grow none can tell. The world today looks very much like the situation that Christ describes will exist on the day of his coming....

Conversations with a Full Preterist
...Many years ago, I met a person on PalTalk which I talked a lot to about the error of full preterism.  He was a friendly sort - and at first glance seemed to believe the Gospel.  But his error of 100% fulfilled eschatology caused us to not be able to walk in agreement.  Here is a snippet from some of our e-mail exchange.  I found this going through my notes the other day and thought I might share it.  - Brandan...

The Cursing of the Fig Tree
...Today worldwide there is this fanatical eschatological focus on the Nation of Israel mainly from the heretical Dispensational Premillennialists, with John Hagee being at the top of their heretical mountain. However, all premillennialists are to be faulted in their misunderstanding of the role and purpose of National Israel in the Old Covenant and how their purpose was fulfilled and finally put to an end when Christ arrived on the scene, died, buried, rose again, and gave the promise of the Holy Spirit as a sign and seal of this fulfillment....

Exposition of Revelation 22:18-19
...This verse drives the context of the rest of what John wrote throughout the rest of Revelation. John wrote a book of his vision. John wrote everything he saw down in a book and that he then sent to the 7 churches. Throughout Revelation, besides from the above verse, John mentions the word “book” 16 times. 7 times the book that is being referred to is called “The book of Life” From what we can tell from these verses the book of life is a book where the names of the Elect of God are written in and once a name is there it can’t be blotted out (3:5). The names were written before the foundation of the world (13:8). If one’s name is not in the book of life they are thrown into the lake of fire (20:15). Only those whose names are in the book of life will enter into God’s presence (21:27). Obviously this “book of life” is not the 66 book protestant canon....

...But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall...

Hyper-Preterism Renounced
...Editor's Note:  I wrote this article in 2004.  I've changed a lot since then, but I still believe hyper-preterism is a full blown gnostic heresy.  - Brandan      For the last couple of years, I have struggled with the doctrines of hyper preterism. The doctrines also known as “realized eschatology” or “covenant eschatology” or “full preterism” teaches that the eschatological events of Scripture were entirely fulfilled in...

Problems with Hyper Preterism
...In this article I list some of the problems I think hyper preterism brings to those who embrace its teaching. I am posting these here as a warning to those who might consider jumping down the preterist rabbit hole. It has been my observation that many Sovereign Grace Baptists who embrace NCT have bought into the preterist lie. Hopefully this site will be a warning to these individuals....

Restoration of Israel??
...     The restoration of Israel and the millennial reign of CHRIST in the earth is not something that I reject. My understanding however is that this millennial reign and restoration is spiritual in nature rather than carnally perceived, This concept is clearly scripturally supported unless a person has blinders on which prevents them from seeing the LORD’s purpose in singling out Israel (as an earthly nation) simply as a type and foreshadow of HIS true Kingdom and purpose. A...
