What does the Bible say about God's sovereignty?

The Bible affirms God's sovereignty over all creation, emphasizing His active involvement in world affairs.

Scripture presents God as sovereign and actively governing all things for His glory, as seen in passages like Romans 8:28-30. God is not a distant observer; rather, He is intricately involved in shaping events to fulfill His divine purposes, even using human and satanic opposition to achieve this. This reflects His supreme wisdom and authority, ensuring that everything unfolds according to His perfect plan.

Romans 8:28-30

Why is preaching Christ important for Christians?

Preaching Christ is vital as it centers the faith on His redemptive work, which is essential for salvation.

Preaching Christ is foundational for the Christian faith because it proclaims the message of salvation and underscores the significance of His sacrifice on the cross. As Paul emphasizes in 1 Corinthians 1:23-24, Christ crucified is the power of God and the wisdom of God. This central focus not only glorifies God but also assures believers of their redemption and the hope of eternity, making it crucial for the spiritual growth of the church.

1 Corinthians 1:23-24

How do we know God's eternal purpose is being fulfilled?

We can be assured of God's eternal purpose through His faithful promises and ongoing work in history.

God's eternal purpose is being fulfilled through His sovereign governance over all creation. Hebrews 6:17-18 underlines God's unchanging purpose and His promise, securing our hope. Even amidst chaos and opposition, God's wisdom and care guide every event towards the ultimate realization of His glory. Thus, we can trust that nothing happens outside His sovereign plan, assuring us that His purposes are being accomplished.

Hebrews 6:17-18

Resting in the ever caring and loving Hand of Almighty GOD, because God's wisdom in the government of our world shall yet be completely vindicated before all created  intelligences. God is no idle spectator looking on from a distant world at the happenings on our earth, but is Himself shaping everything to the ultimate promotion of His own glory. Even now He is working out His eternal purpose not only in spite of human and satanic opposition but by means of them. Preach Christ and leave the way!
