Matthew 18!

"go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained a brother"

First of all you have to go and secondly you have to communicate truth! Why do we hesitate so often on communication? We are afraid I think. Afraid that we will be rejected (that's a big one for me), afraid of anger (that's another big one), afraid that they won't be willing to listen and understand (another big one). As you can see, everything is pretty big to me!

The Lord calls us to do those things that are uncomfortable for us, often it seems, and actually it doesn't get easier but it should. We should know that the Lord is Sovereign and that what He gives us to do, He also equips us to do, including reconciling offenses. After all "the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord".
