May our Lord give us the true spirit of worship in this place today. We know that it is not where we assemble nor when we gather together, but how (in Spirit and truth) and before whom (our Lord and our God). How blessed is any place where our Redeeming Lord unveils the glory of his face and sheds his love abroad?
True worship requires preparation of heart, mind, and body. It involves participation in the singing, the reading of the scriptures, and meditation upon the mercies of God in Christ and the preached word. “Lord, tune my heart to sing thy praise.”
