Let us be careful and committed to adorning the gospel of God our Saviour with good works and a godly walk. As a tree is known by its fruit, so a righteous man is known by his conversation and conduct. Good fruit does not make a tree good but shows it to be good. So good works, commitment to our responsibilities, faithfulness in all things do not make us righteous (only Christ can do that) but show us to be so.
