To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous (tiresome); but for you it is safe.
I rejoice to repeat the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ over and over again. I certainly have no better message to preach nor better tidings to bring. The good news of God's grace to us in Christ is the best news one can hear, and to hear it over and over again will:
- Keep our hearts and thoughts on HIM who is the fountain of life!
- Be a constant guard against false teachers and their Christ-less message!
- Keep us from self-righteousness and other errors as we “remember the pit from which we were digged” (Isa. 51:1) and the one who lifted us out.
