I know a person cannot be justified by the deeds of the law nor the works of the flesh!

  1. I know it from the law itself, which requires perfection. “Tell me,” Paul wrote, “Ye that desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law?”
  1. I know it from the gospel, which clearly states that “In Christ dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and we are complete in him.” A friend said, “What is there about complete that you do not understand?”
  1. I know it from experience! “In my flesh dwelleth no good thing;” and if I should attempt to justify myself, my own mouth would condemn me.
  1. I know it from the very nature of Christ's work. “Thou shalt call his name Jesus for he shall save his people from their sins;” and “When he had by himself purged our sins, he sat down on the right hand of the majesty on high.”
