Children, [young people] obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.
Do you want to be a happy young person? Do you want the Lord's blessing in your life? Do you desire to live for the glory of God? Then obey your parents! Honor and respect your father and mother. Respect them and their counsel and decisions. Speak respectfully of them and to them, for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.
