“Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” - Romans 8:34
Some tell us we need to look back to a profession to have assurance of our salvation. Others tell us we need to look around to our performance to get assurance that we are saved. God tells us to look up. Through the eye of faith, there we will find the glorious person of the Lord Jesus Christ seated at the right hand of the majesty on high interceding for us. Only a Sovereign, Successful Savior can give sinners the hope they need. Lord cause thy face to shine upon us and we shall be saved.
