No One Chooses God
by James Guyo
No One Chooses God

No one chooses their parents. Even adopted kids don't get to choose their parents.

So, no one chooses God. He does all the choosing. That is some clear teaching and yet someone is going to throw a tantrum and tell me that they chose God.

You know they are being very economical with the truth, otherwise called lying.

Why should the Creator of the universe not have the right to choose?

Where are His sovereign rights to exercise?  Doe He not have a constitution that protects His right to do whatever pleases Him?

Yes, it is there. God does all that He wants, the way He wants and He says:

Rom 9:20-22 KJV, "Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?

[21] Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? but who are you, O man to argue against Me? Does the Potter not have the right.

[22] What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:"

Conclusion: God only has the right to do whatever He wants, even determining who gets saved and who does not to His glory.
