We know God is our protector because He has promised to never leave us, and His angels minister to us (Joshua 1:9, Hebrews 1:14).
God’s protection is assured through both His promises in Scripture and the evidence of His care in the lives of His people. In Joshua 1:9, we are reminded, 'Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.' This underscores the omnipresence and faithfulness of God as our protector. Additionally, in Hebrews 1:14, we see that angels are described as ministering spirits sent forth to serve those who will inherit salvation. This shows that not only does God Himself safeguard us, but He employs angels to ensure our spiritual and physical well-being as well.
