How do we know our salvation is secure?

Answered in 5 sources

Our salvation is secure through the finished work of Christ, which grants us confidence and assurance.

The security of our salvation is secured through the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. As stated in the Gospel of John, Jesus’ words 'It is finished' signify that all requirements for salvation have been fully met by Him. Believers are called to place their trust not in their feelings or personal works but in the work of Christ alone, which guarantees their acceptance before God. Just as drinking salt water cannot satisfy thirst, relying on human effort for assurance only brings spiritual thirst and unease. Therefore, resting in Christ assures believers of their eternal safety and relationship with God.
