How do we know that God values us?

The value God places on us is underscored by the immense sacrifice He made in redeeming us through Christ. Romans 8:32 describes how God did not spare His own Son, demonstrating the extraordinary cost of our salvation. Moreover, scripture reveals that believers are considered the delight of God's heart, as seen in Zephaniah 3:17, and are viewed as the apple of His eye (Zechariah 2:8). This recognition of value isn't based on our merits but rather on God's love and grace, which underscores our identity as children of God in Christ (1 John 3:1). As we recognize our value in light of God's immense love, we realize that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, as expressed in Psalm 139:14.
