How do we know that salvation is secure in Christ?

Answered in 3 sources

We know salvation is secure because Paul affirms that God’s purpose and grace cannot be thwarted by any external power.

The Apostle Paul speaks convincingly about the security of salvation in Christ. He emphasizes that nothing can ever sever the relationship between the elect and God's love. This assurance stems from the doctrine of grace which teaches that God's love is everlasting and effectual. In Romans 8:30, Paul states, 'Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.' This chain of salvation underscores God's sovereign will, confirming that once we are saved, we are always saved.
