How do we know we have been taught of God?

According to John 6:45 and Isaiah 54:13, being taught of God results in a true coming to Christ. When God reveals Christ to a person, they cannot help but respond in faith, recognizing Him as the ultimate source of peace and righteousness. This divine teaching transcends mere intellectual understanding; it is accompanied by a transformative experience where one’s heart is changed, leading to a deep trust in Christ. A person taught of God will have an inner assurance of their faith and a consistent manifestation of that faith in obedience to God's commands, demonstrating that they have indeed been with Jesus.
