What does the Bible say about our relationship with Christ?

According to Colossians 1:13-14, God has delivered us from the authority of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. This signifies our relationship as adopted children of God, which is established through Christ’s work on the cross. Our faith in Him assures us of this relationship and acceptance by God, as we are made fit for the inheritance of the saints in light.
