Why is fellowship important for Christians?

Answered in 6 sources

Fellowship is crucial for Christians as it strengthens their faith and helps in mutual support on the path of sanctification.

The New Testament consistently emphasizes the importance of fellowship among believers, as seen in Hebrews 10:24-25, where we are urged not to neglect gathering together. Fellowship allows Christians to encourage one another in faith, bear each other's burdens (Galatians 6:2), and hold one another accountable in their spiritual journeys. It is through this shared unity that believers experience Christ’s presence in their lives, shaping their character and growing in grace. Although imperfections exist within each congregation, the act of gathering is essential for mutual edification.
