Why is the preaching of the Word important for Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Preaching is vital as it is through the Word that God revives, convicts, and transforms believers.

The importance of preaching the Word cannot be overstated in the life of the Christian and the church. It is the God-ordained means through which truth is proclaimed and lives are changed. Without preaching, the light of truth diminishes, leaving the church vulnerable to the encroachment of falsehood. Historical accounts within the Scriptures, as well as contemporary experience, demonstrate that true revival comes through the faithful preaching of the Gospel. By regularly engaging with the preached Word, believers are strengthened in their faith, encouraged in their walk, and equipped to confront the challenges of life and ministry.
