How do we know Christ is able to save?

Answered in 2 sources

We know Christ is able to save because He not only redeems us but also transforms our hearts to enable faith and repentance.

The assurance of Christ's ability to save is founded in His divine nature and redemptive work. In Ezekiel 36:26, God promises to give His people a new heart and spirit, which illustrates His power to change the human heart. This is essential because neither repentance nor faith can originate from our sinful nature; both are orchestrated and accomplished by God’s grace. Philippians 1:6 encapsulates this assurance, stating that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. Ultimately, this affirms that Christ's saving abilities are both comprehensive and secure.
