How do we know Christ is able to save?

Answered in 3 sources

Christ's ability to save is affirmed by His miracles and His divinely appointed role as Savior, fulfilling all requirements for salvation.

In Matthew 9, the blind men express their faith in Christ’s ability to heal them, which parallel’s our understanding of His power to save. Jesus asks, 'Believe ye that I am able to do this?' illustrating that genuine faith acknowledges His capacity for salvation. This ability does not just stem from His acts of healing but encompasses His fulfillment of God’s covenant—He completed the work required for our redemption on behalf of sinners. Through His death and resurrection, He established righteousness for His people, demonstrating that He is both able and willing to grant salvation to those who come to Him in faith.
