This may be too much. OK. King David swore with solemn
oath his mercies to bestow upon the sons of Jonathan, whether
they're young or old, whether they're young or old. Now Jonathan had one young son,
Disabled by a fall, Which made him lame in both his legs, He
could not walk at all, He could not walk at all. King David was a faithful man,
his covenant was sure. He told his servant, fetch that
man and bring him to me here, and bring him to me here. Mephibosheth, by grace unsought,
was brought the king to meet. He at the king's rich table sat,
and all his life did eat, and all his life did eat. And so it is with God's elect,
His covenant is sure. He'll seek them out, and bring
them home, and love them evermore, and love them evermore. And they shall magnify His name
and praise His sovereign grace For saving such dead dogs as
they to feed upon His grace To feed upon His grace Please be
seated. Will you turn with me in your
Bibles to Psalm 77, please? Psalm 77. And we'll begin reading
at verse 7. Psalm 77, verse 7. Will the Lord cast off forever?
And will He be favorable no more? You ever felt like that? Felt
like the heaven was brass? Like your hearts were cold? Lord
left you to yourself? Is His mercy clean gone forever? Doth His promise fail forevermore? Hath God forgotten to be gracious?
Hath He in anger shut up His tender mercies? If you've tasted of the heavenly
gift, the sweetness of His grace, and you've also tasted the bitterness
of His departure or of His absence, this is your heart's feelings. And I said, this is my infirmity,
but I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most
High." Who's the right hand of the Most
High? Christ is. I'll remember what He did. I
will remember the works of the Lord. Surely I will remember
thy wonders of old. I will meditate also of all thy
work and talk of thy doings. Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary. Who is so great a God as our
God? This is where the Lord's pleased
to reveal himself when we sense the coldness of his absence. Thou art the God that doest wonders. Thou hast declared thy strength
among the people. Thou hast with thine arm redeemed
thy people. the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Let's pray. Our merciful Heavenly Father, we're thankful that in your wisdom
in your providence and in your sovereign grace that you are often pleased to
withdraw the awareness of thy presence in order to cause the
hearts of your children to seek you more. Lord, we pray this morning that
our hearts would be drawn to thee, that this sanctuary would become
a holy place of meeting with thee, hearing thy voice, knowing
of thy grace, and be reminded of the wonders and the works
of thy strong right arm. Lord, lift up Christ. cause him
to be the one to whom we set our affections, and enable us
in this hour to worship thee in the power of thy spirit and
according to the truth of thy word. For we ask it in Christ's
name. Amen. Let's say number 226 from your
hard back teminal. 226. And let's all stand together
again. I am not skilled to understand
what God hath willed, what God hath planned. I only know at
his right hand is one who is my Savior. I take him at his word indeed. Christ died for sinners, this
I read. For in my heart I find a need
of one to be my Savior. That he should leave his place
on high, And come for sinful man to die? You count it strange,
so once did I, Before I knew my Savior. And, O that he fulfilled, may
see, the travail of his soul in me, and with his work contented
me, as I with my dear Saviour. Yea, living, dying, let me bring
My strength, my solace from this spring That he who lives to be
my king Once died to be my Savior. Please be seated. I've titled this message, Our
God Cannot Fail. Your life and my life are full
of failures. We have a God. It's impossible
for Him to fail. He has and will keep all His
promises. Turn with me in your Bibles to
Isaiah chapter 34. Isaiah chapter 34. Our God is a covenant-keeping
God. The Lord is and will be faithful
to all His threatenings and His promises. Now, Isaiah chapter
34 is made up mostly of threatenings, and God's threatenings are not
idle threats. He will carry out all the threatenings
that he makes, as he will be faithful to carry out all his
promises. Look at verse 16 of Isaiah chapter
34. Seek ye out of the book of the
Lord, and read, no one of these shall fail. No one of these shall
fail. In Numbers chapter 23 verse 19,
God is not a man that he should lie. The scripture says that
all men are liars. God alone tells the truth. That's
why the hope of our salvation has to be based on a covenant,
a promise that God made to God and that God made to us. We can't
hang the hopes of our salvation on a promise that we make. Our
God is not a man that he should lie, neither the son of man that
he should repent. He doesn't change his mind. He
said, I am the Lord and I change not, and therefore you sons of
Jacob are not consumed. I am the same yesterday, today,
and forever. Our God is immutable. He cannot and will not change. Everything else in this world
is changing, isn't it? As we saw in the previous hour,
everything in this world is dying. Our God is alive. His promises
won't die, and His threatenings will not be made idle. Hath he
said, and shall he not do it? Now I'm quoting from Numbers
chapter 23. Hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he
spoken, and shall he not make it good? Those are rhetorical
questions. And the answers are clear. No!
No! He's not spoken idly. He's not
made empty promises or idle threats. He will do what he has said. Look at our verse again. Seek
ye out of the book of the Lord and read. No one of these shall
fail. Now most people worship, most
people who call themselves Christians, worship a God who is a failure. Let me say that again. Most people
who call themselves Christians worship a God who is a failure. They will tell you right up front
that the God of Christianity loves everybody. And yet I have
never met one who believes that, who thinks that everybody that
God loves has loved him back. He has failed to convince those
that he loves to reciprocate. He's a spurned lover. He has
failed in his attempt to get the hearts of those people that
he loves to love him back in return. Our God's not like that. We don't worship that God. Most
people who call themselves Christians worship a God who has failed
in his attempt to save everybody. He's made an offering of salvation
because he loves everybody. Christ therefore died for everybody,
shed his precious blood for all men's sins to be made effectual
by your response. And yet he's unable to convince
most of the people that he died for. to appropriate the offering
that he made them of their salvation. He is a miserable failure. Our God's not that way. He has
not failed. He has accomplished the work.
Turn with me over just a few pages to Isaiah chapter 42. Isaiah
chapter 42. Verse 1, behold, look, God's
speaking now, He's speaking to you and me, and He's saying,
look, look at my servant. Who's His servant? Christ is
who He's talking about. The Lord Jesus Christ came into
this world to serve His Father. He was obedient to everything
the Father sent him to do. And he was a faithful servant,
a successful servant. The Father was satisfied with
every word he spoke, with every deed he performed, and he was
satisfied with the offering that he made on Calvary's cross, not
for the sins of all men. Seek ye the words of the book,
you'll find that not one of them shall fail. Look it, look it. Behold my servant whom I uphold. God Almighty upheld the Lord
Jesus Christ. Christ came into this world as
a servant of God with the full power of the Spirit of God as
the Messiah to accomplish the work that the Father sent him
to do. Did you not know that I must
be about my Father's business? Is that not the first words that
came out of the lips of the Lord Jesus Christ recorded in the
book? At the age of 12, when his mother had lost him in Jerusalem,
and she came back and finally after, what was it, three days,
she found him, and she was beside herself. Did you not know that
I must be about my father's business? And then what were his last words?
What were his last words on the cross? It is finished. Father, into thy hands I commend
my spirit. He did the business, the bidding
of the Father, and he accomplished what he came to do. Check the
book. Check the book. He will not fail. He cannot fail. And if what you
believe is contrary to what God has revealed in the book, then
you're worshiping a false god. Look what he says. Behold my
servant, whom I uphold, mine elect. He's the one that I chose. God sovereignly chooses whomsoever
he wills and he willed to place his blessings on his son. In whom my soul delighteth. Oh, I'm delighted in him. I have
put my spirit upon him and he shall bring forth judgment to
the Gentiles. No question about it. He shall
do it. He's not going to try to do it.
He's not going to make an offering to do it. He shall do it. He shall not cry, nor lift up
his cause or his voice to be heard in the streets. He's not
going to go around begging men to let him come into their hearts. A preacher that talks about Won't
you let Jesus come into your heart? You know, he's in heaven
and He's just wringing his hands hoping that you'll let him have
his way. What a miserable little Jesus That's another Jesus Check
the book Check the book Not one word will fail Why because we
don't worship a God that's a failure. I A bruised reed shall he not break,
and a smoking flax shall he not quench. Oh, how oftentimes we
feel that way. We feel like a bruised reed.
Sin has bruised us. It's left us feeling cold and
empty and far from God. And we feel like, you know, that
God would just go ahead and break us the rest of the way. No, he
won't. No, he won't. Not if Christ died
for you. He's not going to break his children. He's going to restore
them. A smoking flax, he will not quench. Now flax is what they use for
a wick in an oil lamp, and the oil of the Spirit gets low in
our hearts. Oftentimes, doesn't he? And there's
nothing left but just a little glowing ember at the end of the
wick, and we feel like all God's got to do is just He said, I'm
not going to do it. Not going to do it. No, to the
contrary. I'm going to put more oil in
the lamp, and then I'm going to blow the wind of my spirit
on the wick, and it's going to restore its flame. I'm not going
to let them burn out. I'm not going to lose one of
my sheep. I'm certainly not going to destroy them. I came to save
them. He shall not fail, nor be discouraged. Oh, I'm so thankful. Aren't you? We've got a God that
cannot fail. He's not discouraged. He's not
wondering, what am I going to do with this world? Everything's
right on schedule. Everything that's happening in
this world is exactly how God purposed it. In providence, he
shall not fail. In creation, he did not fail. And in salvation, he shall not
fail. Check the book. Check the book. Isn't that what he said? Look.
Seek ye out of the book. What book? The book of the Lord.
The scriptures. None, no one of these shall fail. No one of these shall fail. I heard someone say recently,
everyone has their own reality. Everyone has their own reality.
You ever heard someone say that? It's a lie. There's only one
reality. Reality is what God says is reality. Now, I don't doubt that everyone
has their own opinion, but opinion's not reality. Opinion's just opinion. You can take that to the coffee
shop and see if you can get a cup of coffee with it. Opinion's
not gonna buy you anything. And by the way, that word opinion
is the word translated heresy in the scriptures. And here's
what God says, it is necessary that heresies be among you. God has sent men into his church
with their opinions. in order that those which are
approved might be made manifest. You see, only those who have
heard the voice of God, only those who know the truth can
discern the difference between opinion and reality. Those who are approved of God
will be made manifest by the presence of opinions. They'll
hear a man's opinion and they'll say, oh no, that's not the truth.
That's not reality. That's not God. That's a man
speaking. I know better. Sometimes people say perception
is reality. No. Perception is how you see
something to be. If it is not, in fact, the way
you see it, then perception's not reality. Perception is deception. That's all it is. You're deceived
by your own perception. But man has set himself up on
the throne of God, hasn't he? And man thinks that his reality
is reality. No. Check the book. Check the
book. Not one of God's words will fail.
What sayeth the scripture? You know, we live in a world
that's relative, don't we? You know, it's relative to what
I think. No, it's not. No, it's not. I was talking to somebody this
past week, and they were telling me about a friend of theirs who
has taken relativity to its natural conclusion in that he says he
doesn't name anything. Because once you put a name on
something, then you've limited that something to that. Yeah, I'd hate to have a conversation
with that fella. You know? I'd like to have a
drink of, you know the stuff that falls from the sky and that's
in the lakes and the oceans? Oh, you mean water? Yeah, but
I didn't want to name it. You know, I mean, how do you
carry on a conversation with somebody, but he's so relative.
You know, you can't put a name on anything because once you
name it, then you box it in to that name. That's the natural conclusion
of being relative. God's named a lot of things.
His Word is full of names. And what He calls it is what
it is. Check the book. What does he
say? Seek ye out of the book of the Lord, and read, no one
of these shall fail. Aren't you thankful that we've
got the word of God? Wait, this is God's word. Now I can't convince you that
it's God's word. But if God speaks to your heart, he'll speak to
you by his word, and once he does, you'll be taught of God.
Father, I thank Thee that Thou hast hid these things from the
wise and the prudent, and revealed them unto babes. They shall be
all taught of God. Once God teaches you, He's going
to use His book to do it. Seek ye out of the book of the
Lord, and read. Not one of these shall fail. Every other religion. You know,
I was thinking the Muslims and the Jehovah's Witnesses have
the testimony of one man. The Jews and the Catholics have
their tradition. The world has science. They judge everything by science.
They're irreligious, don't they? Well, if I can't see it or touch
it or taste it, then it doesn't exist. Listen to what God says
in 1 Timothy chapter 6. Timothy, keep that which is committed
to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings and oppositions
of science so falsely called." Men base science on theory. You can't do that. is no longer
science. And God said 2,000 years ago,
don't get in an argument with someone over science so falsely
called. It's not science at all. But
that's what man uses. Denominations have their creeds
and their confessions. And the Lord said in Isaiah chapter
19, the spirit of Egypt shall fall. I will destroy their counsel
and their idols. We've got God's word. Seek, seek
ye the book of the Lord and read. No one of these shall fail. Their opinions, their testimony,
their feelings will fail. Science will fail. It is easier for heaven and earth
to pass away than for one tittle of my law to fail. That's what
God says. It's not gonna fail. God uses his word to give us
life. The reason why we spend so much
time in the word of God is because we know that this is the means
by which God gives faith. If we're gonna believe his word,
I think I said this Wednesday night, I don't know if I said
it last Sunday, I forgot. But you'll indulge me to say
it again. Did you notice at the, I think
I said it Wednesday night, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade? We watch that in our home on,
it's on anyway, as we're passing through. And I noticed behind
the grandstand, these huge letters on Macy's department store, the
word belief. Belief. That's all it said. And I thought, believe what?
A man in his pride thinks, well, if I'm just a believer, if I'm
sincere, oh, you can be sincere and be sincerely wrong. You can
jump off a 10-story building and sincerely believe you're
able to fly, but I promise you the laws of gravity will show
your sincerity to be falsely put. Believe what? Believe God. What has God said? Well, seek
ye the book of the Lord and read. Not one of these shall fail.
Every promise of God. He's going to give us faith through
his word. Peter put it like this in 1 Peter,
being born again, not of corruptible things such as silver and gold,
but of incorruptible by the word of God. God uses his word which
abideth forever. And this is the word which by
the gospel is preached unto you. Seek ye the book of the Lord
and read. Not one of these shall fail. We live in a world where everything
and everyone is a miserable failure. including me and including you. We're just a bunch of failures.
We live in a failure. We say, well, I'm not a failure.
The only reason you're not a failure is because you're comparing yourself
to someone else. And you've conveniently found
someone who's a little less successful than you to categorize yourself
as not being a failure. God's the only one that doesn't
fail. Not one of these shall fail. Everything in this world
is going to fail. But God, of his own will, begat
he us with the word of truth, with the gospel. Seek ye out
of the book of the Lord and read, no one of these shall fail. The Lord tells us in Ephesians
chapter 1 verse 13, in whom you also trusted after you heard
the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. There's no
salvation apart from hearing the gospel. And I don't know
how to make this any more clear than what I'm about to say, but God's not using God is not
using false churches and false gospels to save his sheep. No one's ever been saved through
a false message. No lies of the truth. I hear
people say it all the time. Well, you know, I came to the
doctrines of grace, but I was already a believer. Well, if
all you came to was the doctrines of grace, you're still not a
believer. I've met so many Calvinists over
the years that think that they've just come to a higher view of
the gospel. But they were actually converted
as Arminians. God's not using Arminianism.
He's not using a freewill works gospel to save anybody. If He is, then let's just get
behind all of them and support them because, you know, it doesn't
matter. Why make a distinction? Because this is the message from
the book. The message of God's free and
sovereign grace in the accomplished work of the one who cannot fail
that God uses to save his people. And no other message. All flesh
is grass. The grass withereth, the flower
thereof fadeth away, but the word of the Lord endureth forever. And this is the word This is
the word. We're not talking about just
being able to read words out of this book or quote verses
out of this book. This is the word which by the
gospel is preached unto you. If the gospel's not being preached,
this book's not being preached. Peter said in 2 Peter chapter
1, we did not come to you with cunningly devised fables. We didn't come to you with opinions.
We handled the Word of God. And then he goes on to describe
that mountaintop experience at the Mount of Transfiguration.
He says, we saw the veil of His humanity taken away and the radiance
of His deity shined forth to where our faces were in the dirt.
And we heard the voice of God speak audibly from heaven. This
is my beloved son. In him I'm well pleased. Hear
ye him. Seek the words of the book and
read them. Not one of them shall fail. You
would think, boy, that would be enough an experience to convert
anybody, wouldn't it? I mean, you could hang the hopes
of your salvation on that experience the rest of your life. The next
verse says, however, we have a more sure word of prophecy. For the scriptures came not by
private interpretation, but holy men of God wrote as they were
moved by the Holy Spirit. Peter said, I'm not putting,
I'm not hanging the hopes of my salvation on that mountaintop
experience. I'm hanging it on the words of
this book. this book, the message of this
book, the Christ of this book. What did the Lord say to the
Pharisees? He said, you search the scriptures. Oh, you're very
diligent in your religious activities to read the book because you
think in them you have eternal life. But these are they which
testify of me. If you haven't seen Christ in
the book, you haven't studied the book. That's what seek ye
is. Look at our verse again. Seek
ye out of the book of the Lord. Seek what? Seek Christ. Look for Christ. Don't look for
a verse here and there that you can rub like a rabbit's foot
and get a blessing from God. Look for Christ. Don't look for
doctrine. Don't look for theology. Don't
look for rules and regulations to live by. Look for Christ. In the volume of the book it
is written of me. Seek ye out of the book of the
Lord and read. Not one of these shall fail.
Why? Because he can't fail. He can't fail. Whether they be prophecies, they
shall fail. Whether they be tongues, they
shall cease. Charity, charity never faileth. Oh, the love of God. His compassion's
lamentations, chapter three, verse 22, fail not. Isaiah 58 11 the Lord shall guide
thee continually and satisfy thy soul in drought and make
fat thy bones and thou shalt be like a watered garden and
like a spring of water that fails not This is the river you remember
what the Lord told the woman at the well out of your belly
shall flow rivers of living water and This is the spring. We've got a lot of springs around
here, don't we? In a lot of places of the world, when they have
a drought, the rivers dry up. Dry riverbeds. It doesn't matter
how much rain we get around here. 100 million gallons of water
are gonna boil out of blue springs every 24 hours, regardless of
the rainfall, aren't they? That's a spring that never fails.
That's what Christ is likening himself to. We're not waiting
for a drought or for a rainfall. We've got a spring of living
water. And it shall not fail. Your faith shall not fail. You
remember when the Lord told Peter, Peter, before the cock crows,
you're going to deny me three times. What a horrible experience
that was for Peter, denying Christ with cursings. And yet, what
did the Lord say? Peter, be of good church here. I have prayed that your faith
fail not. Not will fail. I'm gonna let
your leash out a little bit. I'm gonna let you go into an
area that you're never gonna forget. You're gonna grieve over
your sin, but your faith will not fail. Not one word shall fail. From the very first word, what
was the very first promise that God gave in his word? After the
fall, he said to the serpent, The seed of the woman is going
to crush your head. Did that promise fail? No. That's exactly what the Lord
Jesus Christ did on Calvary's cross. He crushed the head of
the serpent. He went into the very pits of
hell and delivered his people. He accomplished their salvation. And what's the last promise?
We looked at it just a few moments ago from Revelation chapter 22
where the Lord said, I come quickly. Is that going to fail? Not one word shall fail. Is our God a failure? Seek ye
out of the book of the Lord, and read, not one of these shall
fail. That the purpose according to
election might stand as the scriptures have said, the older shall serve
the younger. Jacob I have loved, Esau I have
hated. Everyone that God has placed
his love on That well they can't fall they can't fall All that the Father has given
me I Shall lose nothing. Oh We have a sovereign God Who
has elected according to his own will and purpose of people?
and everyone that he chose in the covenant of grace will be
saved. They have been saved, and they
will be in their experience. In the work of atonement, the
Lord did not fail. What the Lord Jesus Christ did
on Calvary's cross was not an offer of salvation to be made
effectual by something we did. We don't add our faith. to the
gospel in order to make what Christ did work for us. He actually
atoned for our sins and not a single drop of his blood was wasted.
He didn't die for the world. He laid down his life for the
sheep. Father, I pray not for the world.
I pray for them which thou hast given me out of the world. Thine they were in election,
in the covenant of grace, and thou hast given them unto me. Check the book. Check the book. You see, the God that most people
believe in isn't the God of this book. They have twisted and rested
the scriptures to their own destruction is what the scripture says. He paid the price. He laid down
his life for the sheep and the father is satisfied with the
work that he did. What about in regeneration? He will make his people willing
in the day of his power. When the wind of the Spirit blows
upon your heart, you're not going to say, well, yeah, you know,
it's time for me to make a decision. You're not going to say that.
Coming to Christ is not a decision. It's not a choice. Why? Because when he sends his spirit
in power, he will not fail to make the gospel irresistible
to you. If you've got a choice between
Christ and something else, you will always choose something
else. The only time you're going to come to Christ is when the
irresistible grace of God gets a hold of your heart, opens your
eyes, shows you the glory of Christ, and then you come. You come. What about sanctification? Of
Him, of God the Father, are you in Christ Jesus? Someone asked
me recently, and I knew who they were referring to, they asked
me about, well, what happens when someone dies who wasn't
religious? And I said, well, the same thing
that happens to someone who dies who is religious. I said, there's only two places. And religion doesn't save you. If you're in Christ, you go to
be with Him in glory. And if you're not in Christ,
You're separated from Him for all eternity. There's no purgatory. There's no in-between. There's
no gray area. Him are you say well, how do
I get in Christ of him? Are you in Christ Jesus whom
he has made for us our Wisdom Christ is all my wisdom my righteousness. He's all my righteousness before
God my sanctification All my holiness before God is bound
up in Christ and my redemption. The only hope that I have for
my sins being paid for is to be found in Him. Check the book. Seek ye out of
the book of the Lord and read. Not one of these shall fail. And he will not fail. He didn't
fail in saving his people and he will not fail in keeping them.
He will present them faultless. He will keep them from falling.
Oh, like Peter, they're going to sin. And sometimes they're
going to send grievously. But their faith will not fail. He will cause them to come to
himself. Seek ye out of the book of the
Lord. All we've done the last 30-40 minutes is just read what
God says. Just read what God says. Your reality, if it's not consistent with what
God says, is just an opinion. It's just an opinion. It's not
worth anything. And to trust in an opinion that's
contrary to what God has said is to risk the damnation of your
soul. What saith the Scriptures? And
you know what I'm hoping right now? I'm hoping that every single
one of us are saying, Oh God, give me faith to believe you.
Give me faith to jettison any opinion that's contrary to what
You've revealed in Your Word. Seek ye out of the book of the
Lord, and read. Not one of these shall fail. Our God doesn't fail. His Word
does not fail. His threatenings are not idle.
and His promises are sure. Our Heavenly Father, we're thankful.
We're thankful for the faith that You give to believe Your
Word and to believe You. Oh, Lord, how we pray right now
that You would increase our faith, cause us, Lord, to forsake our
idle thoughts and to believe what Thou has said. but we ask
it in Christ's name, amen. We're gonna, number 18, I'm gonna
ask the men if they'll come please and distribute the bread and
the wine and Tom's gonna lead us in number 18 in the spiral
hymnal. We'll sing the refrain as if
it was just verse two, so we'll sing straight through. God gave his holy inspired word
for only one great end. the prophets and apostles to
reveal the sinner's The Bible is a book of Christ. It only speaks of his love. Every page it shows us Christ,
it only speaks of Him. The prophecies of old record,
God's wondrous mighty deeds. Those deeds of power and of grace
set forth the woman's seed. The prophets all reveal our Lord
as prophet, priest, and king. The types the great redemption
show, Christ's blood and grace now bring. Behold the Lamb, the Baptist
said, the sin-atoning One. As it was promised long before,
God's Son as man has come. Our substitute obeyed the law,
then died and rose again. And in his word our Savior said,
Rejoice, I come again. Coming from a Catholic family
and in the passing of my mother this past week, I've been forced
to deal with the heresy of communion taught by the Catholic Church.
Believing that this bread that you hold in your hand literally
becomes the body of Christ and that the cup of wine Literally
becomes the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. What's the purpose
for that heresy? They would quote scripture and
say well This is my body and this is my blood unless you eat
of my body and drinking my blood you have no part in me They quote
that scripture The reason why they interpret
it that way is because, number one, it gives you something to
do to receive Christ. All you gotta do is eat a piece
of bread and drink some wine and you've done your job. Number
two, it gives the church power over you to control your salvation
with a sacrament. It is a heresy. We're not saved by taking this
bread and wine into our bodies. The Lord gave it to us as an
ordinance. It is a symbol. Faith, which
is a gift of God, is the only thing that saves. We take this
body, this bread, we are just simply expressing that the hope
of our salvation is completely bound up in the perfect life
of the Lord Jesus Christ. Nothing salvific about this bread
except for what it represents. Christ is the one that saves.
We do this in remembrance of him. This little sip of wine is not
going to save you either. But the blood that He shed on
Calvary's cross will. Without the shedding of blood,
there is no remission of sins. The Lord said, this is My blood
which has been shed for you. As often as you do this, do it
in remembrance of Me. All God's people said, Amen. Let's stand together. Brother
Adam, would you close us with prayer, please? Heavenly Father, you are truly
glorious, Lord. We are so thankful for the word
you gave us this morning. We pray that you would continue
to show us the measure of our days, Lord. Cause us to see things
for what they are.
