Very good. If you turn in your
Bibles, me to Psalm 43. I want to look at the, briefly,
but I want to spend most of this, as we have together, where God
leads his people. It's where he's led us. It is
a marker of someone being God, that they come to his holy hill,
to his tabernacle, and they come to, and so, Prayer is that he
would send out light and as this psalm speaks of prayer for this
year and my new year's resolution word of God and I'm thankful
that the promises of God are yay and amen and and all of the
promises of God are blood-bought so let's pray. Father we pray
that with your words and life from us be carried out word in
light and truth as you have throughout this world's existence of your
people to an altar they have cooked by your grace Lord Jesus
Christ for he is gracious and merciful before the cross of
the Lord Jesus Christ the glory that is revealed to your holy
name in the death of your and all of our salvation all of our
security all of all of our exceeding joy in this view and into it
is bound up in that one and glorious event bless your word to our
hearts heavenly father and souls of your people with your word
both here and wherever throughout this world it's preached our
father we pray in jesus name and for his glory So I wanted
to look very briefly at the problem. This Saint of God, and I say
that he's a Saint of God, who knows that his sins have been
washed away in the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, would say
to God, Oh God, the words of a man to fight. These are the
words whose sins have been put away in the blood, and they are
gone forever. God can say, God you judge me,
Oh God, in life you judge me and you plead my cause. The Lord
Jesus Christ is and all of them plead the last one of them and
there are no no condescending. Advocate with the father in and
we continue when we sin what do we do? According to 1st John
we have an advocate. Plead my cause. Judge me oh God. Please my cause. Plead my cause.
against an ungodly extraordinary description of humanity isn't
it an unmerciful nation an unmerciful nation oh deliver me all and
unjust what a description is he what a description of me he
goes to say that the um at the end of the morning because of
the oppression of the enemy. Enemy, you plead my cause to
bring me into justice against an ungodly nation. You deliver
me from the den. The reality is that that is just
what is deceitful and unjust. Mend God's description world. But God looks down from heaven,
Genesis 5, 6, God. And God saw. He saw the wickedness
of man. Man was great in the earth. This
description of all human beings. An ungodly, unmerciful nation.
Men are accumulated to whatever form outside of the gospel of
the Lord Jesus Christ. They are an ungodly nation and
they are a deceitful nation. Listen to this description. God
saw the wickedness of man that every imagination of the thoughts
of his heart was evil continually. Go to men, whoever they are,
no matter how powerful they are, if that's what God sees in them.
And that's what I am. Who's my enemy? But in this world who's enemy
to my faith in Jesus Christ, who's my greatest enemy to looking
to the Lord Jesus all the time? It's me. You're sitting very
very close to the biggest problem you have in this. No wonder we
cry, don't we? Oh deliver me, deliver me from
other men. Deliver me, for the God of my
strength. If I'm going to be delivered,
to do all the delivering, you're going to have to Why? God has made people to see how
weak they are. God has made people to see that
they live in a world and they live among people who are deceitful
and unjust and they're one of them. Jesus Christ made it really
clear in the upper room, didn't he? He says, without... How much?
Without me, in spiritual matters you can do Paul says, through
God and me. For thou art the God of my strength,
why dost thou cast? How many times, child of God,
have you felt from God? How many times have you felt,
as Job did, that God hides himself from? How many times have you
felt that the heavens are like brass ceiling? How many times
do you love the fact that in the Bible we are allowed to be
are allowed to be encouraged by God to go into the closets
and go to our God and say, this is my, this is the stances that
I'm in. I need you to me. Why go on because of the of? Blessed are the Lord Jesus Christ,
blessed are the mourn, for they'll be comforted. When do we mourn? We mourn to death. We mourn because
there's absolutely nothing that we can do as dancers we're in. Blessed are they who mourn, and
this man is one because of the oppression of the enemy. What
are they continually saying to us? We're God. This is how you
feel, and yet you talk of God of all comfort, and a God of
all grace and mercy. That's why I wanted to spend
most of our time looking at us. The enemy is Satan, the enemy
is the world. To send us, I just love God's
solution to that situation. Prayer for me. And I trust it's
your prayer. I pray that it's a prayer. Continually
be praying as you come to situations where you're mourning in the
strength of your own and places where you feel cast off. Godly
nation and you're just people. It's just lovely isn't it? Send out thy light. Out. Out. Unless you send it out,
glory, unless you send it out, I will not see. Unless God's
sight, unless God's light, people will not see. No, Cliff does
shine that light of the gospel. Paul had light shine around him
on that Damascus road. He was a deceitful and unjust
man. He had hatred in his heart for the Jew God. He had hatred
in his heart for God, as God was revealed in the Lord Jesus
Christ. He was the God of his religion. He loved the God that
made him hard to serve. He loved the God that allowed
him to buy the things that he did. He loved that God. But when
in the Lord Jesus he hated him. What is Jesus doing today? God
of their imaginations, of their construction. And God sent to
Paul, and he was Jesus Christ. I do love that 2 Corinthians
4.6. For God who commanded the light to shine out of darkness
in creation. Let there be light. A remarkable
statement from God. And this is before the sun and
the moon and the stars were created. He says let there be light, spiritual
light of who I am. Out of darkness has shined in
our hearts to give the light of the glory of God of Jesus
Christ. The light is who the Lord Jesus
Christ is. That's the only light that we
will see by. In his life we see Loved that story in John chapter
8 where the Lord Jesus Christ himself to be the light of the
world. And the circumstances are glorious, aren't they? And
it's a good picture of what the rest of this psalm will be about
where this woman who was caught in adultery in John chapter 8,
exposed. Condemned as she was brought
into the presence, and this was the circumstances that caused
him to say, I'm the light of the world, follow with me, shall
not walk in the light of life. She was brought there and he
accused, a criminal, of being of death, or of God, and the
Lord Jesus Christ. All of her accusers, and he says
to the woman, where are they? Where are thine accusers? has
named you, and she's no man, Lord. Neither do I condemn you. Why not be as hell? Why can he
say that to her? Because all of her sins, all,
he'd taken it away. He is the lamb slain from the
foundation of the world. It's got out. We can't get to
God, but we can plead this prayer, oh, send out thy light. Send out light and thy truth. Send out thy truth, the truth.
In a demerciful world, it says I am the truth. God is. I am
the truth. Reveal the truth of man is. If
you want to see how you just need to go to the cross, one
place to go, or look into your heart, If you want to really
see sin, you go to the cross of the Lord Jesus. And you stand
there with them that cried out for him, crucify him. The earth
is not fit to have this man here. And you think, if the Lord would
allow you, if the Lord would send light, you would have been
there. If you were there, you would have said exactly those
things. Truth of who God is, he's the truth percent, because
of this man, because he's the truth of self-salvation. Call
his name Jesus because he will send him. Don't you love the
fact that the word of God are pure words? Don't you love that?
They're refined seven times, they're purified seven times.
All of God's words are pure words. God can be and all of God's word
of the Lord Jesus Christ. Send out thy light, and send
out thy truth. Listen to what the light of who
the Lord. This is not a God. This can be finished on account
of what men does. Listen to what sends out his
light. Them, Lee. The narrow path to life. There is a broad road to hell.
To be on the narrow path of God. To send his light and send his
truth. And he's going to have to lead you. How have you done
in leading yourself? One word describes me, failure.
over and over again, whenever I laugh. Thank God for his mercy,
let them lead them. There is a way, according to
the scriptures in Proverbs, there is a way right to a man, right
to a man. That way, the ends there on the
broad road has their ways to death. Let them lead me, let
them bring us to his holy to bring us to his tabernacles. God has to bring us to the he
meets with people where he dwells with people. David is saying,
as all of God's children say, let me be found in. I can't lead
myself. I see without your light. I can't
not lie. Eyes of Satan and the lies of
this. Lead me, Christ. Judge me. Let me be found in his, let me
be found in him and his strength. Let me be found in him who comes
to lead me to your tabernacle. Christ is tabernacle of God.
Tabernacles with his bride. Christ tabernacles with his church. Light and me. To be sure, according
to God's word here, that every single who has had light, truth,
shone upon him. They'll go to one place. There's... Then, will I go... Where do all
of God's children go? That God has guided you. Where will... Where do all of
God's people go? They go to the altar. There is
one place that God leads all of his people to, and that is
the Lord Jesus Christ and him crucified. It's one place that
they all go. How can you know that God has
sent light? How do you know that God has led you? How has he brought
you? The altar. They went on the altar.
What was the altar? It's the place of sacrifice. It's the place of sex. What comes
from the altar? Don't you love Isaiah 6? Isaiah
saw the Lord Christ in the temple and he says, woe is me. Done. I'm undone because I'm a man
of unclean lips. For mine eyes have seen the King,
the Lord of hosts. Then the seraphims under me have
taken with tongs. And listen to what the altar
does. He laid it upon my mouth. He's a man of unclean ways of
sin, isn't it? He laid it upon my mouth and
says, Lo, this has touched thy lips. He says, Away, and thy
sin. Your iniquity's taken away. It's
all gone. How much have you ever studied
here in building that we're in right now, Colossians, and it's
a lovely introduction for our church in the preaching of the
gospel. What did God do? You being done
your sins in the uncircumcision of your flesh, has he quickened
together with him, made life together with him, having forgiven
you all your trespasses? The Lord Jesus Crossed was an
altar. There is just one altar and the
altar was a huge altar in that temple. And the altar where that
blood and where that sacrifice. allows there to be an entity. You cannot come into your sin.
The only way the presence of God and to be in his tabernacles
is for you to have no sin. How yet to live with God? You
must be holy as God is holy. only holy people. That's what
the sacrifice is all about, the sacrifice of the blood of the
Lord Jesus Christ. He says by one offering he hath
perfected forever them that are holy. There is nothing in holy. You're either 100% holy or you're
100%. There is no way in the world
you had any steps going up to the spice you come completely
as you are cleanse for one off says their sins and iniquities
will owe more why do you remember them anymore They are gone, brothers
and sisters. They are gone. That's what it
is for the Lord Jesus Christ to justify people. That's what
happened to Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ, like that
sacrifice, like that altar, the fire lit that altar and the fire
of Christ And when the Lord Jesus Christ's wrath fell on all of
all of the people who were united to him and made an eternal covenant
of love and grace, and the fire of God's wrath fell on that sacrifice,
and the sacrifice was shed, and the sacrifice died. The altar
remained. The altar remained. And the glorious,
glorious resurrection of our sins in Israel. Where did we
meet? You heard some word from Gabe. Where do Gabe and I meet?
Where do we meet with our brother around the world? We meet because
of one cause. The cause of the glory of God
is the cause. You have to go examining a whole
lot of things about what's said by deceitful and wicked men about
whether someone is telling the truth about God. Hundreds of
church sites look at one thing. Tell me what happened at cross. Just tell me what happened. Tell
me who died. Tell me from the scriptures in
simple children's who put him to death. It was his father.
It was the Holy One of God who was death. Tell me what he did. Glorious, glorious event. Tell him, tell me, in simple
terms, tell me about the altar. I took a message, I was asked
to listen to a message about God for seven of those minutes. Basically he was a great orator
and then in the last week he trashed every sin of God. by denying scripture's say. And such is the situation. That's
why we're brothers and sisters. That's why together we've come
to an altar. We've been led by God and sent
out truth. He's led us and he's brought
us and we've come to his tabernacle. We've come to the meetings of
God and when we meet there we meet around an altar. The Lord
Jesus Christ him crucified. All of my sins were put away.
All God's children were put away. Which is I am slain from the.
Is such a remarkable passage. And what's heaven about? What
is the centerpiece of heaven? If you get to heaven, and you
in heaven, you're going to be worshipping. What are you going
to be saying? Worthy is the. Worthiest in his blood. He is the Lamb. is we can be
there by himself. Hebrews 1 says by himself he
has purged us from our sins. And listen to what those who
have truth sent out from been led and brought and they've come
to the tabernacle and they've been to they've come to the come
to God you've come to the altar you've come to God my exceed
joy. How can I have exceeding joy
in the presence of God? Just like that. You can have exceeding joy only
when you know your sins are gone. When you acknowledge at that
altar that all have no sin in the presence of God. I simply
believe he has said in his word, his lie. I go to God with exceeding
joy. Going to God. God. unto God,
yea, see, O God, I think that's just one of the loveliest, that
because of this all sent out light, I can say, praise God,
and when, and the oppression, what's the sin that's so, unbelief is that sin, verse 5,
day is His rebuking him through thoughts are so demeaning of
the greatness of God, are so demeaning of the completeness
of his salvation. Everything that's got my feet
needs to be washed again and again and again. Thou cast down,
O my soul, why art thou disillusioned? You hope in God. You hope in
God when you feel cast down. You hope when you feel as if
you've been caught. When you have to be delivered from the
deceitful and to plead your cause against him. You hope in God.
For I shall yet raise him who is the salvation of my countenance,
the salvation of my prayer, and my God. Have you been led by God? Yet
pray hath. What a glorious prayer you haven't.
God send out thy light, thy truth, light and truth in such a way
that they lead me, they bring me. Why do the heathen and the people
imagine vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves
and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and his anointing.
Saying, let's lay their cause, let's cast away kings. Let us
kings on our own throne, let us rule. Let us pray. The Lord shall have and then
shall he speak unto the yet have I set my king. King is absolute. All of his children come. Absolute's
going to stop them! Out of his hand, the father is
who? Him? No one! Out of my hand, no one
can pluck! Declare the decree the Lord has
said. This day have I begotten thee.
Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance,
and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Break
them with a rod of iron, thou shalt dash them in pieces like
a potter's vessel. Be wise now to me. Be wise, therefore, you kings
and judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear. Rejoice,
trembling, kiss the sun. Where did Peter go? On his feet. Remarkable! Declaration, kiss
his son. Lest he be angry in you, his
wrath is kindled, but only they are all they that put trust in
him. May he lead us and bring us to
regard the place of sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Let's pray. You having led us to be our exceeding
joy, Oh Heavenly Father, we thank you that you command your children
to rejoice in the Lord. Yet again, I say rejoice. We
can rejoice because you are a vision of your dear and precious Son
that you sent him into the world to save sinners. Father, send
Jesus to reveal us to sinners. cause us to be needy, cause us
to die, and cause us to have the ambience of the promise to
be led to your dwelling place, to be led as Christ, as the altar. Our parents were gone, and now
all of your children throughout time And even here, Heavenly
Father, are robed in the Lord Jesus Christ. May we pray that
you have written and may we find all of your promises a yes and
Amen in the Lord Jesus Christ. Bless us like our Father, we
pray in Jesus name.
