I think if I was in turn made
to Psalm 21. Psalm chapter 21. I've entitled this message praise
to the power of his grace. Praise to the power of his grace. My text is found in the last
verse of this chapter in verse 13. It says, Be thou exalted, Lord,
in thine own strength. So will we sing and praise thy
power. Now, before I get into the text,
I want I want us to consider for a moment as we read this
psalm. That from verses one to 12, it
really is speaking of Christ. The last verse in this text shows
us the result of what Christ has accomplished. What the power
of Christ has done in a believer's heart is this. We will sing praise
to His power. Now if you look at verse 1, David
writing this psalm, he said, The king shall joy in thy strength. O Lord, and in Thy salvation
how greatly shall he rejoice. Behold, Jesus Christ, when He
came into the world, He rejoiced in the strength of
His God. He rejoiced in the strength of
His God simply because this, He was totally dependent upon
God for everything. You remember the temptation that
he took in the desert when Satan had tempted him. You remember
that he, the temptation was, if thou be the Son of God, make
these stones bread. And he most surely could have.
He had all the power to make them bread. He had every right to make them
bread, being deity in the flesh. Yet what? did not depend upon
his own power or will, but upon God. In order to save us, it
was necessary that he empty himself and totally depend upon God. Therefore, when you read that,
think of Christ. He rejoiced in the strength of
God. He rejoiced in Him. who being
in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with
God but made of himself no reputation. That means he emptied himself.
That's what it means. He emptied him. I can't really
fathom that, but it was so. He took upon him the form of
a servant and being made in the likeness of man and being found
in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto
death, even the death of the cross you see the faith his faith
in God was necessary in order to save us even so Jesus Christ received
all his strength to obey God and he rejoiced in that strength
and number two you see God went before Christ in verse three
it says Thou preventest him, you went before him with blessings
of goodness and settest a crown upon his head. Consider all the
providence of his life and death were ordained of God. The scriptures
declare that he was the chosen king and all his way, all his
life, God ordained and purposed everything that happened to him. And then what? He set a crown
on his head when he had won the victory. When Christ had fully
satisfied God's righteousness and justice, he set a crown upon
his head. And verses 4 and 5, the Father
gave all that Christ desired. He said, He asked life of thee,
and thou gavest it Him, and length of days for ever and ever. His
glory is great in thy salvation. Honor and majesty hast thou laid
upon Him. In other words, whatever Christ
desired in this life, God gave to Him. And what was the desire of His
heart? It was the salvation of His people. Everything. Consider, do you do everything
for God? Everything you do. Can you even,
I mean, what we're doing here, we seek to worship God in what
we're doing here, but even as we're sitting here, and even
as we're worshiping, we still can't pull all of our faculties
into it, can we? Yet He did. All of his heart
was set on the salvation of his people. That was his desire. And in order to do that, what
must he do? The will of God. Lo, I come,
in the volume of the book, it is written of me to do thy will,
O God. And it was the will of God was
the same will, wasn't it? That we should be saved. This
is the Father's will. which has sent me that of all
he had given me I should lose nothing. And so Jesus Christ in John 17
he said those words he said as he lifted up his eyes to heaven
he said father the hours come glorify thy son. What purpose that thy son may
glorify thee as thou has given him power over all flesh, that
he should give eternal life to as many as thou has given him.
And this is eternal life, that they might know the the only
true God in Jesus Christ, whom thou sent. I have glorified thee
on the earth. I have finished the work thou
gave us to me to do. And now, Father, glorify thou
me with thine own self and the glory which I had before the
world was. Now, did God answer his prayer?
Scripture in Psalm 21 says, He gave him all the desire of his
heart. And the fourth thing, Christ
trusted the Father and accomplished salvation. He accomplished salvation. Thou hast made him most blessed
forever. Thou hast made him exceeding
glad with thy countenance. For the king trusteth in the
Lord, and through the mercy of the Most High he shall not be
moved. Christ has accomplished salvation, and God has given him power that
he should give eternal life, and listen, he shall not be moved. That's important, isn't it? The
immutability of Christ is a blessing to us who believe in this, that
if we are in Him, And He cannot be moved. Listen, we cannot be
moved from Him. Isn't that what He promised us? He said, My sheep hear My voice,
and I know them, and I give unto them eternal life, and they shall
never perish. Why are you never going to perish?
Because of the immutability of Christ. He shall not be moved. Then in
verses 8 and 12 it speaks of the sovereignty of God over His
enemies. So verses 1 through 8 speak of
Christ and His salvation, of Him emptying Himself, of Him
accomplishing His work of salvation, of God giving Him all the desires
of His heart, which is the salvation of His people, of Him giving
Him life. He asked for life. For what? His people. for us. And God gave it to him. But now
God warns his enemies, the enemies of Christ. He said, Thine hand
shall find out all thine enemies, thy right hand shall find out
those that hate thee. Thou shalt make them a fiery
oven in the time of thine anger, and the Lord shall swallow them
up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them. Their fruit
shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the
children of men. For they intend evil against
thee. They imagined a mischievous device in which they are not
able to perform. Therefore thou shalt make them
to turn their back when thou shalt make them ready thine arrows
upon thy strings against the face of them. God warns here
of his enemies. You want to know the evidence
of man's depravity? is that he will not and cannot
obey the law of God the evidence is clear that he will not believe
on Jesus Christ that is a that is a pure that's a pure evidence
of man's depravity that he seeks to please God by
his own works and religious deeds. Isn't that what he says in verse
11? For they intend evil against thee. They imagined a mischievous
device which they are not able to perform. What's that? Righteousness.
It's a mischievous thing to suppose that you can merit the favor
of God by your own obedience. In fact, it is contrary to what
God reveals. And God swears this, that none
of them shall escape. Christ who sits on the throne
is sovereign, and I know this, none of His enemies shall escape.
You think anybody's getting away with anything? I know we listen
to the news and you see these people getting away with it.
You're upset. And they're just getting away with it. He getting
away with nothing. Listen, we didn't get away with
anything either. You know why our savior died in our state?
All the sins that we committed, Christ must have paid for. But those outside of Christ,
listen, you're with outside of Christ. Those are dying, they're saying
he said to make them turn their backs, I thought of a firing
squad, you know, man looking this way and everything looks
great and all of a sudden he gets shot in the back. That's
exactly what happens when a man thinks everything's well and
then he falls into hell. I'll tell you, if you're without
Christ, listen, nothing in this life will remain. Everything
man is striving to get, he'll lose. Isn't that something? Man will strive his whole life
to get away from God and run from Christ for the trinkets
of time that just melt away anyway. All the sin that you so desire
will soon forever be gone And no one will even remember you
were here. Why will you not come to Christ? I look at a lost man and I find,
I weep for them. Why will you not come? Why will
you die? Why will you die? Oh everyone that thirsted come
to the waters, come buy wine and milk without money without
price. Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread? Why do you labor for that which
doesn't satisfy? Hearken diligently unto me, eat
that which is good and your soul shall delight itself in fatness.
Incline your ear and come unto me here and your soul shall live
and I will make an everlasting covenant with you. Even the mercy
or mercies of David. What a blessed calling. What
a wonderful calling, a gracious calling to rebels, to those who
hate him, he calls. Weren't we once his enemies? How can we ever look upon a man
and say he's too far gone? If there's life, there's hope.
I do pray God would call some, but those that are called, look
at the last verse. Now those that are saved by Jesus
Christ and those that are called to him who once were enemies
but now have been made believers in Christ. Listen, this is always
the result. This is always the word of those
saved. Be thou exalted, Lord, in thine
own strength. So we will sing and praise thy
power. Therefore the saints of God do
love to sing the praise of God's strength because it was the strength
of God that saved us. I don't think I could comprehend
the strength it took Christ to save us. I don't think I could
comprehend that kind of strength. To constantly obey and honor
the law of God in every facet. And have his love set upon us
still. Therefore, we are not ashamed
to proclaim that salvation is of the Lord. We rejoice in it.
We rejoice in the perfect work and person of Christ. So let
us tonight. By the grace of God, I want to
see four things about this this matter of God's power and God's
strength for things that every child of God praise God concerning
his power. First of all, let us sing praise
to Him for His converting power. His converting power. When Paul
prayed, go to Ephesians, go to Ephesians chapter 1, we'll stay
here just a few minutes. Look at Ephesians chapter 1 and
verse 19. The Apostle Paul here is praying for believers in Ephesus
and requested that they might Look at this in verse 19, Know
what is the exceeding greatness of His power to usward who believe,
according to the working of His mighty power. Now you are believers, we understand
this, and this text In this text in Ephesians, it is a very wonderful
text, in verses 3 through 6, we see what? We see the election
of His grace. We see that He put us in Christ
and chose us in Christ before the world began, that He in love
purposed that we should be holy, that we should be His adopted
sons, and this all should be accomplished by Jesus Christ.
Now this was all planned and purposed before time. what God
did. He chose us in Christ. Then in verse 7 we read of Christ
coming in and actually fulfilling this. He says, In whom we have
redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according
to the riches of His grace. We have been redeemed by the
blood of Christ. It was His purpose to redeem
us by Christ. And fourthly, we see God's purpose
in that we should be gathered. Look at verse 8, wherein he hath
abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known
unto us the mystery of his will, according to the good pleasure
which he had purposed in himself, that in the dispensation of the
fullness of times he might, what, gather together in one all things
in Christ, both in heaven and earth, even in Him. His purpose was to gather us. What did it take to gather us? It took the power of God. Nothing else could bring us to
Christ but the power of God. But the power of God. Paul says,
though we were chosen and redeemed, we were dead in trespasses and
sins. This means we were without strength
to obey the law or come to Christ. I like what Lamentations one
verse, chapter one, verse six says, listen to this, how it
describes us. It says from the daughter of
Zion, her beauty is departed. That describes us, doesn't it?
When Adam sinned, all our righteousness departed. Her princes are become
like the hearts that find no pasture. They're gone without
strength before the pursuer. Who's the pursuer? The justice
of God. And we are found without strength. without power. What kind of mind did we have? The carnal mind is enmity against
God, for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed
can be. So then they that are in the
flesh cannot please God. And when the gospel is preached
to us, commanding sinners to come to Christ, we can't even
come to Christ. That's how powerless man is. Scripture, when we hear the gospel,
how does God find us? He finds us without strength. No strength. I can't stress that
enough. That there is no strength or
ability in a man to save himself. None. But when the elect hear the gospel,
when we are without strength, how is it that we are now made
able and willing to believe on the Son of God? How is it that
you, consider that, how is it that you believe on the Son of
God when millions refuse? By whose power do you believe? Every elect center understands
this we were made willing in the day of his power. We were made willing and that's
exactly what Paul is saying here in Ephesians 1 19 that this exceeding
greatness of his power to us who believe according we believe
listen according to the working of his mighty power. That's the
only way you believe. Consider the utter weakness of
man that he cannot by any means, he cannot by any means save himself. I don't care what
you put in there. Religion says do blank and God
will save you. That's what religion says. But
God says man is without strength to do anything. To commend himself
to God. What could you do to commend
yourself to God? Name it. Tell me what you've done that's
so great that God should accept you. Someone say, well, I believed
Oh, you did that on your own, did you? I was contemplating
this today. I. Even religion would would
most religions would at least confess this, that our life and
breath come from God. That we breathe according to
his power. That God controls all things.
You say that and people, yeah, we believe that we believe God
controls all things. Well, if God gives you has to
give you physical life, how do you suppose you can give yourself
great something greater, which is spiritual life? If man believes that he thinks
he can, well, I know God has to give me physical life, but
you know what? I can I can give myself spiritual life. No man can't do anything, he
is without strength. And so in verse 20 of Ephesians
one he said which he wrought in Christ. This is the same power
the same power it took to give you life and faith is the same
power it took to raise Christ from the dead. He said which
he wrought in Christ when he raised him from the dead and
set him on his own right hand in heavenly places. So when a
man is quickened by the power of the spirit We, in our hearts,
give all the praise to God. If you've ever been quick and
you know it's not you that did it. And so, like in our text,
we sing and praise God for the power, His power, His strength
has converted us. His strength has saved us. Secondly, God's children praise
Him for His keeping power. You see now, God chose you in
Christ, Christ in His strength saved you, and the power of the
Spirit has called you, has given you faith. But who keeps you? Who keeps you? Why in the world do you still
desire to hear this same gospel? Why do you need it? Why haven't
you left? I've seen many come and I've
seen many go. Why do you stay? Why do you need
it? Simply because of what Peter
says, go to first Peter, Chapter one. First Peter, Chapter one. He's speaking to the elect according
to the foreknowledge of God. They're sanctified of the Spirit
under faith and the sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ.
He says to us in verse 4 that we've got an inheritance incorruptible
and defiled that fade away reserved in heaven for you who are what? Kept by what? What keeps you? Kept by the power of God through
faith unto salvation ready to be revealed at the last time.
Now there are many false religions that claim to believe that salvation
is by the grace of God. I don't think you can't find
a religion that when they come to them and you say you believe
you're saved by grace. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. I'm all for that. I believe we're saved by grace. But in some manner or some means
they still believe that they must keep themselves. They must
keep themselves by their works or by their obedience. There
are many who confess even the election of the Father, the redemption,
the perfect redemption of the Son. They confess that the Holy
Spirit must give them both life and faith, but they have been
deceived to think that they are the ones that keep themselves
holy, keep themselves acceptable to God. that they must somehow
finish this course by their obedience. And my friend, the cause of the
whole book of Galatians deal with that subject. The whole
book of Galatians have to deal with that subject. Those believers
thought, they believed that salvation was by grace. They believed in
Christ's redemptive work. They believed in the effectual
work of the Holy Spirit. But they also added circumcision. They said, well, in order for
us to be kept, for us to be sanctified, we have to sanctify ourselves
by circumcision. We have to set ourselves apart
by this one act of obedience. These professing believers confess
that salvation started by the power of God, but that they must
continue and grow by the power of man's obedience. Matter of fact, I believe in
chapter 3, that's what Paul asked in Galatians. He said, have you
begun in the spirit and are made perfect by the flesh? Is that how you're made perfect?
Did God just start this thing and then say, OK, now you need
to start perfecting yourself? Paul said, I stand in doubt of
you if that's what you believe. If you believe that you are perfecting
yourself, Making yourself holy. He said, I stand in doubt of
you. This is what religion calls today progressive sanctification.
It's been called many things in history, but in our day, that's
what it's called. These men believe that our sanctification
before God and man is accomplished by our obedience either to the
exhortations of the word or obedience to the law of Moses. Listen,
there is no doubt in my mind that a believer must grow in
the grace and knowledge of Christ. There's no doubt about it. You
will grow and you must grow. And as we grow, I am sure that
the true believers heart is never to is always to walk in the exhortations
of scripture. That's always our heart, isn't
it? We no longer desire to walk according
to the course of this world. We hate sin either in ourselves
or in the world. Therefore, before men's eyes,
I'll tell you this, we are changed. Are you like you were? Are you still comfortable to
live in sin as you did before? Well, no, you've changed. Why?
God's changed you. And before men, you are changed.
You are changed. We are surely set apart. There's
no doubt about that. But I like what Paul says about
being set apart. He said we were made a spectacle. You know what that means? A theater.
We were a show. That's all we are to them. They
are their intent of our being changed is to mock us and ridicule
our Lord. They hate us. Also, because we have this measure,
this this treasure and earthen vessels, we are not honored of
men, but persecuted. We are not what we once were.
but no thanks to our power or our ability or our obedience. We are not what we were because
of the excellency of the power of God. But for all our desire to be
without sin, our works do not sanctify us. They do not make
us holier. Name one work that we've done
that's holy. You want to be holier, you got
to do one holy work. Tell me what it is. Our sanctification. Is the work
of God alone. By the power of God who sanctified
us and made us holy. But we are now given by the Holy
Spirit a new nature that cannot sin. This is how He keeps us,
is He has given us a nature that cannot sin. That's why John,
go to 1 John, look at this in 1 John. See that these do not
contradict each other. Look at 1 John chapter 3. 1 John
chapter 3 and verse 8. It says, He that committeth sin
is of the devil. For the devil sinned from the
beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifest, that
he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born
of God doth not commit sin. Is that plain? Can you misread
that? Are you born of God? You that
are born again, are you born of God? The Scripture says, He
that is born of God doth not commit sin. What purpose? How? For His seed, His seed,
new life, new nature that He has given us remains in Him and
He cannot sin because He is born of God. Now look at the first
chapter, look at chapter 1. Look at this in verse 9 of chapter
1, I mean verse 8 of chapter 1. He says, if we say we have
no sin, we deceive ourselves that the truth is not in us.
How can that both be true? Scripture tells me that I have
no sin, and then it tells me if I say I have no sin, I'm making
a liar. The truth's not in me. What does that mean? Simply this, that the old man
cannot not sin. The nature he was born with,
it can't do anything but sin. And the new one can't do anything
but what is holy. Can't do anything but what is
holy. And so for all our desire to
be without sin, we know this, we're never free from it. Not
in this life. The Apostle Paul says, in my
flesh dwelleth no good thing. There is a constant warfare in
our breast and we cry, O wretched man that I am, who shall deliver
me from the body of this death? Believer, how often are you cast
down by this struggle? Are you cast down? Because I
sure am. I'm often cast down. How often do we fail and sin
against Christ? How often does the providence
of God seem to oppose the promises of God so as we make us to doubt
and fear our own salvation? How is it that a believer then
cannot fall away from Christ. How is it that our sin will never
have the power to remove us from the love of God that's in Christ?
You know why? Because you are kept. You're
kept. You're kept by the power of God. Jesus said to his elect, he that
endureth to the end shall be the same shall be saved. Who's
going to be saved? Only those that endure to the
end. Paul said, We were aliens and
enemies in our mind by wicked works, yet now hath He reconciled
us in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and
unblameable, unreprovable in His sight, if you continue in
the faith. So what is my hope that I am
going to continue? What is my hope that I am constantly,
perpetually accepted of God, even in this vile condition that
I find myself? How is it? Because I am kept. How is it that that nature would
never sit? It's kept. How is it that the old man will
never, never be able To cast out the new. How is that possible?
Because I'm kept. And not kept by my own strength
or my own obedience. I am kept by the power of God.
Therefore, the children of God sing praise to what? The power
of God. We sing praise for his converting
power. We sing praise for his keeping power. Aren't you glad
you don't keep yourself? What if you had to keep yourself? unto him that is able to keep
you from falling. Thirdly, the children of God
praise him for his succoring power. Go to Hebrews chapter
two, Hebrews chapter two. And look at verse 18. Scripture says, for in that he
himself also suffered being tempted. He is able to succor them that
are tempted. The word succor here means to
help or relieve. Jesus Christ, as He became a
man, experienced suffering. He experienced suffering. He experienced suffering as our
high priest And by it he learned obedience. I wouldn't say it if scripture
didn't say it. He learned obedience by the things he suffered. But
by this suffering, he is also able to understand our suffering. He's able to understand our suffering.
Believer in Jesus Christ, be assured that all our salvation
is forever accomplished by the offering of Christ, our great
high priest. But we as his children are never free from trouble.
Is that true of you? It is true of every illustration
in scripture, every believer in this book experienced trouble.
Our Lord promised in this world, you shall have tribulation. But
what is our hope that we shall overcome all of our troubles? By whose power are you going
to overcome any trouble? By the same power that converted
you and the same power that keeps you is the same power that helps
you. Go to Isaiah chapter 41. Isaiah chapter 41. Look at verse 8. But thou, Israel, art
my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my
friend. God chose us, and we are the
seed of Abraham in this, that we are the same, we receive the
same blessings of Abraham, we receive the same promises, and
we live the same way Abraham did, by faith. Thou whom I have taken from the
ends of the earth, and called from the chief men, thereof,
and said unto thee, Thou art my servant, I have chosen thee
and not cast thee away. And that what we just said about
his effectual calling, what does he say to those who are effectually
called in verse 10? Fear not. For I am with thee. Be not dismayed, for I am by
God, I will strengthen thee. Yes, I will help thee. Have you ever asked for help?
Listen, God says yes. Yes. Help me. Yes, I will help
me. I think that's one of the best
prayers that a believer can pray in trouble is this help. Help. Because you always have a yes
answer. The problem with us is it's not
always in the time or the manner or the means that we think it
should be. Remember, Naaman? He said, I
thought it should be this way. Often we think God help me, and
then we got a plan as to how God's going to help us. And when
it doesn't go according to that plan, we go, God, why didn't
you help me? Oh, I'm helping you. Just not
that way. I'm going to help you another
way. He said, I am the help. Yes, I will help the yes. I will
uphold thee with my power, the power right hand of my righteousness. Behold, all they that are incensed
against thee shall be ashamed and confounded, they shall be
as nothing. You know what your troubles will
eventually be? Nothing. In that right, all your troubles
will eventually be nothing. How many saints in heaven are
worried about the troubles they had here? How many? How many troubles they have now? Nothing. God has helped them. And listen, God will help you. This is our comfort. He will
help us. He who has all power says, yes,
I will help you. Yes. And everybody that is against
you will be as nothing. And look what he says, For I, the Lord thy God, will
hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not, I will help thee.
Fear not thou worm, Jacob. Have you ever thought how defenseless
a worm is? He ain't got no arms to defend himself. He ain't got
no legs to run. He don't have any sharp points
coming out. He don't have any fangs. He don't
have any claws. You know how helpless you are?
You're a worm. Fear not thou worm, Jacob. Here's why. You men of Israel,
I will help thee. How many times you got to say
it? How many times God got to say it before it sinks in? Yes,
I will help thee. Yes, I will uphold thee. Yes,
I will help thee. Yes, I... He says it over three
times, I know. I will help thee. And notice this, how will he
help thee? In what manner will he help you?
You notice this, Jesus said, Come unto me, all you that labor
and are heavy laden, and I'll give you rest. Take my yoke upon
you and learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart." When you come to him for help
and you don't deserve it, how will he help you? How will he speak to you when
he comes to you for help? He said, I lured her into the
wilderness to speak comfortably unto her. That's how He will. He speaks meekly and lowly to
us. And fourthly, look at this, the
children of God praise Him for His transporting power. His transporting power. Believer, let us always be mindful
our life here is short. Our life here is short. Few more
rolling suns at most shall land me safe on Canaan's coast. Our life here is short. It's
like a vapor. Therefore, listen, what should
we be about? Let us be about our Father's
business. We, as believers, no doubt should
be the most thankful people on the face of the earth. We should
be the most gracious. the most caring, the most loving. Why? Because we have been we've
experienced grace. We've experienced the love of
God. We've experienced the power of God. He called us. He saved us. He keeps us. He sustains us. He helps us. but I know this soon all of our
trials will be over and he by his power will transport us to
glory he just that text we read we are kept by the power of God
unto salvation ready to be revealed one day it's going to be revealed
it's ready to be revealed but one day it'll be revealed now
who is going to stop God from bringing us to himself What power
can keep us from God or separate us from him? None. It was God that justified
me. Why are you going to heaven?
Well, God justified me. How do you know Christ died and
rose again from the dead ever living right now? Make intercession
for me. Therefore, I know this. I'm persuaded that nothing shall
separate me from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus.
And soon, very soon, God will transport us by His power to
be with Him forever. Behold, friends, the love of
God towards us. Behold the power of God. The
power of God in these things is a manifestation of the love
of God, isn't it? behold is converting power we
without strength yet Christ died while we were without strength
and in due time he came and in power converted us you that are
converted praise him for this keeping power that he's going
to keep you in the faith until you go to be with him and in
all in the middle when we are in trouble his power will help
you and sustain And then when it's all done, he'll transport
you to himself. Who's? Did I mention anything
you got to do? Anything your power, anything
in your power? Can you convert yourself? Can
you keep yourself? Can you help yourself? Can you transport yourself? No,
we don't need power. His people exalt His strength
and sing praise to His power. His power. I'm thankful I'm saved
by His power, aren't you? I'm thankful I'm kept. I'm thankful
He helps me by His power. I don't have any. I don't got
any power. I'm going to praise His power. Let's stand and be dismissed. Our Father, dismiss us with your
blessing and mercy upon us. Thank you for your word. I pray
you'd bless it to the hearts of your children. Father, that
you'd humble us, keep us lowly before thy throne of grace and
mercy, only always exalting Christ and
magnifying his perfect person and work. And we thank you in
the name of Jesus Christ for this.
