All right, if you take your Bibles
now and turn with me to Revelation. Revelation chapter 20. Revelation chapter 20. And I've
entitled this message, The Hope and Grounds of the Resurrection. The Hope and the Grounds of our
Resurrection. The scripture says in Revelation
20 in verse 6, blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first
resurrection. On such the second death hath
no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and he
shall reign with them a thousand years. He gives a benediction
a description of these people. He said, they are blessed and
they are holy who have part in the what? First resurrection. Now what you see in this, and
over such the second death has no power. We see this, that there
are two resurrections. There's a first resurrection
and there will be a second resurrection. There will be a first death and
then there will be a second death. Now I want to discuss this matter,
the resurrection. And I'm going to do this in reverse
order. I'm going to talk about the second resurrection. And
then I'm going to give you the grounds by which you know you
have part in that resurrection. When Jesus Christ comes again,
that is the second resurrection. The first resurrection we're
going to see is this. It is the resurrection of the
spirit. It is the resurrection of the
dead sinner to life. He that has been raised and quickened
by the Holy Spirit, that's the first resurrection. What was
the first death? The first death was in Adam,
wasn't it? In Adam all died. We were dead, but Christ raised
us from the dead. The first resurrection. And what
happens to those that are part of this first resurrection over
which the second death, that is the resurrection to damnation,
have no power. But we who have been raised by
the Spirit of God, we have this hope, we are blessed and we are
holy and in that second resurrection when Christ comes, he is going
to receive us to ourselves. So that's what I want to talk
about first is this second resurrection, the coming of Christ. Now every
believer in Christ looks by faith and in hope we anticipate the
coming of Christ. If you read Acts, you read most,
the biggest theme in the book of Acts is the resurrection.
The coming of Christ! Christ is coming! Christ is coming! Christ is coming is the main
message and theme of Acts. And so every believer anticipates
His coming. At least we should. We should
anticipate His coming. in which He will raise these
dead bodies, the dead bodies of His elect. And in a moment,
those bodies will come forth out of the grave and be transformed.
They shall meet their spirit in the air with Christ and they
shall be one complete, perfect person. A whole person. The bodies in that moment that
were corruptible shall put on incorruption. The mortals shall
put on immortality. And the earnest desire of every
child of God is to be like Christ. Isn't that the goal? Isn't that
the whole purpose of salvation? That we be like Him? What God says, He says that He
is the firstborn of every creature, that He might have the preeminence.
And be like Christ. And now by grace, we have been
endowed by the Holy Spirit, we have been given a holy new nature,
that Paul says is created after God and true holy. Blessed and
holy. Blessed and holy is He that hath
part in the first resurrection. He has made us holy. Now how
holy has He made you? You listen to this very carefully.
That God by searching cannot find your sin. Not you. Who cares what you find? That doesn't matter if you find
my sin or you find your own sin. What matters is this, God won't
find it. He says in Jeremiah chapter 50
verse 20, In those days and at that time, saith the Lord, the
iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and there shall be none. Can you measure none? How much is none? It's absolute zero. None. The sins of Judah, and they shall
not be found. Why? How could God do that? Four. I'm going to tell you how I'm
going to do it. Four. I will pardon them I reserve. Those God has reserved for Himself. He says, I will pardon and there
will be no sin in them. Now, what about your experience?
I'll tell you this, every child of God, we are still persecuted. In this life we are afflicted,
we are troubled on every side. And our enemy, listen, our enemy,
though he is bound, though he is bound by God, though he cannot
defeat the purpose of God in our salvation, Though he cannot
hinder the gospel wherever God sends it. Though Satan cannot
accuse us before the Father because we have a mediator. Even though
that, yet I'll tell you this, he still is as a roaring lion
walking about seeking whom he may devour. We have a real enemy,
friends, in this world. We are persecuted by this world,
hated by this world, and this flesh is an enemy, isn't it?
This old nature is the worst enemy because he's never gone.
Satan is not omnipresent. But I'll tell you this, it's
blessing with me every second of the day. He is my worst enemy. But even though this, let us
be sure of this. None of these things can touch
you except God allows. Nothing comes upon you or me
without the express design and permission of God Almighty. Remember Job? Satan came to Job
and came to God and he could do nothing except God give him
permission. So it is with us. Therefore,
believers, we sojourn in this wilderness and we are brought
to desert places. We are brought to barren, fruitless,
dark times in this world. It is at these moments where
we are so afraid, where we are so afflicted that we should be
moved to see this truth. This world is not our home. Isn't that what he's teaching?
When he takes this and takes this and takes this from us,
is that not what he's saying? This is not your home. We have this hope and this confidence
that we shall be saved who believe on Jesus Christ alone. And even
though death of this mortal body come to us, this is our hope,
even that God shall raise our bodies from the dead to be like
the body of Jesus Christ himself. Was this not what Job said? Job
and all of his trouble and all of his difficulty, what gave
him peace? He said this, Job 19 verse 25, he says, For I know. In your trouble, Job, what did
you know? I know that my Redeemer liveth. And that he shall stand in the
latter day upon the earth. Isn't that what he did? Wasn't
Job's prophecy true when he came into this world? He stood on
the earth. His Redeemer that liveth stood
upon the earth and redeemed him. That was his faith. And because
of this, he said, for though my skin, worms destroy this body. You see, because my Redeemer
liveth and because he's going to come and stand, I know this,
even though my body is eaten by worms, And it was. It was hope. By the time Christ
got here, that was nothing but dust left. Yet this was his hope. In my
flesh, I shall see God, whom I shall see for myself. And mine
eyes shall behold and not another. Whose eyes are you seeing out
of right now? your own, how shall you see God? Out of those eyes. Those eyes you have in your head
right now, only they will be glorified. They will be able
to stand to see the Holy God. His hope was in the resurrection,
wasn't it? His joy, his peace, his comfort
in the midst of his trouble was his Redeemer. That his Redeemer
is going to redeem him. And because he redeemed him,
I know this, no matter what happens to this body, though my rage
be consumed within me, I know this, it'll be me seeing God
myself. Because my Redeemer lives. My
Redeemer lives. And so let us Let this be our comfort. Let
this be our comfort in sickness, our peaceful thought in sorrow. Let this be the ease of our heart
when surrounded by afflictions and pain. Let this now by faith
be confidence, be confident and sure that even at death's cold
hour, that because our Savior lives, because he was raised
from the dead as our representative, even so this, we too shall be
raised from the dead. This is the hope of Christians. This is the hope of believers.
that we shall be raised from the dead. This is exactly what
Jesus said. He said, I am the bread of life.
He that believeth on me shall never hunger. He that believeth
on me shall never thirst. What is that? You will never
thirst for righteousness. You'll never hunger for redemption.
He that believeth. Do you believe on the Son of
God? Then you shall never lack righteousness. You shall never
lack redemption. But he told these that he was
talking to in John 6, he says, but I said unto you that you
have seen me and you believe not. Not everyone's going to
believe on him. Not everyone's going to eat of his flesh and
drink of his blood by faith. But he knows this, all that the
Father gave him would. All that the Father giveth me
shall come to me. Him that cometh to me, I will
in no wise cast out, for I came down from heaven not to do mine
own will, but the will of Him that sent me. And this is the
Father's will, which has sent me, that of all He had given
me, I should lose nothing." And what? Raise it up at the last
day. At the last day. Jesus Christ
is coming again to raise His people from the dead. This is
our gospel. Behold the bread of life, Jesus
Christ. Believe on Him. This is the will
of God. Not everyone will believe, but
all those God willed to believe, they will. All those that God
purposed to believe, they will. They'll come to Thus our resurrection
from the dead to eternal life and glory in heaven forever.
Listen, this resurrection of the saints is something immutably
tied to the life of Christ. This should thrill your soul
that your salvation and your resurrection is not tied to anything
you've done or are doing or ever shall do. Your resurrection,
your salvation is inseparably tied to the life of Jesus Christ. It is tied to him in a vital
union. When Lazarus died, we're gonna
talk about Lazarus, Lord willing in a minute, we'll talk about
Lazarus, but when Lazarus died, Martha came to him and said,
Lord, if you'd been here, my brother'd not die. This is what
Jesus said. He said, our brothers are rising
again. And she said, I know, in the resurrection at the last
day. Jesus said, I am the resurrection and the
life. Anybody's going to be raised
and anybody's going to live, they have to be tied to me. They
have to be in union with me. I am the resurrection and the
life. Listen to what he said. He that believeth in me, though
he were dead, isn't that the first death? We die in Adam. But he that believeth in me,
though he were dead, what's the promise? Yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth, continually,
constantly liveth this evening, you that believe, you are alive.
Not just in this body, you are really alive. You have real life. He that liveth. What's the evidence
of this? And believeth in me. These are
tied together. Life and faith. This is it. He shall never die. You believe this? Lazarus was dead. four days and
Jesus said he's not dead. Well, Lord, there's his body.
He's not dead. You know why? Because I'm alive.
He's alive. Lazarus was fine. Lazarus was
well. Lazarus was whole. Lazarus was
with the Father in heaven. He was well. Scripture says to be absent from
the body of what? Be present with the Lord. Jesus said in John chapter 5,
don't you marvel at this, for the hour is coming and now is
when those who are in graves shall hear the voice, his voice,
and they shall come forth, those that have done good, to the resurrection
of life, and those that have done evil, to the resurrection
of damnation. So that it's very clear to every
believer in Christ, this is our hope, that Christ shall return,
that he will call every elect out of the grave, and our body,
soul, and spirit will be reunited into one perfect man, life under
Christ. The resurrection is our hope.
It's our hope. I hope you don't hope in this
country. I hope that you and I don't hold out hope for this
country. Why, it's not our country. We
are citizens of heaven. That's our country. That's our
home. We're just passing through here. What's the grounds? How do you
know? I know this, there is a resurrection, isn't there? The Lord is very
clear about that. There is going to come a day
when He's going to call men out of the graves. The second resurrection. There's going to be a resurrection.
What gives us the grounds and hope that we shall be part of
the resurrection of life? What is our hope of this resurrection? What is it based on? I've got
three things. Three things. First of all, Our
hope of the resurrection is based on a representative resurrection. Secondly, a spiritual resurrection. And thirdly, a revelation of
this resurrection. So let's see these in order.
First of all, a representative resurrection. What I mean by
this is that all the elect of God all those that were chosen
of God in Christ, when Christ rose from the dead as their representative,
they rose from the dead with Him. They rose from the dead
with Him. If any man is ever going to have
hope of attaining to the resurrection of life, he must have been first
represented by Jesus Christ. Everyone that's going to attain
to the resurrection of life was represented by Jesus Christ. This is the scheme of God's covenant
of grace. Go to Ephesians 1. Read it again.
Read the plan of grace. He pours it out for us in plain
language. Ephesians chapter 1. What do
we read here? We read of God's sovereign election
that the Father chose a people before the world began, a remnant,
according to the election of grace. We read that they were
given to Christ, they were his chosen people, they were put
into a vital union with him so that they should be holy. Remember
who's blessed and holy? Those who have part in the first
resurrection are what? Blessed and holy. This is what God determined
that they should be before the world began. Read it with me.
Blessed be the God and Father, verse 3, of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places,
in Christ. Well now, how in the world is
God going to do that? Go look in the mirror and see
if you feel like you have all spiritual blessings in heavenly
places. When you are sick, do you feel like you have all spiritual
blessings in heavenly places? When you see it, do you feel
like you deserve all spiritual blessings in heavenly places?
No, because they're in Christ. That's where they are. That's
where all these blessings are found. According, now this is
how he's going to do it. I'm so glad God doesn't leave
it to our opinions as to how he's going to do something. This
is how he's going to do it. According, as he had chosen us
in Christ before the foundation of the world. Now why would he do that? That,
here's why, we should be holy. There's no other way for you
to be holy. You know that? Without election, no one's going
to be holy. If there were no election, there would be no holiness
to be had. Here's where holiness begins,
an eternal election, that we should be holy and without blame
before him. Here's his motivation, in love.
He loved them. In love, having predestinated
us under the adoption of children. How will he perform this? By
Jesus Christ. To himself. He's going to reconcile
us to himself by Jesus Christ. According to their great merits. No, no, no. according to the good pleasure
of His will, to the praise of the glory of His great, wherein
He hath, hath made us accepted. That's past tense. Hath already
made us accepted in the beloved. Therefore, Jesus Christ came
into the world to redeem us by His blood, and Jesus obtained
our eternal redemption and everlasting righteousness for all His elect. This is the glorious difference
between the Jesus of this sick, pathetic, religious age and the
true Christ of Scripture. Christ was successful! Our Christ
is successful! He did redeem us by His blood. He has given us, He has obtained
for us everlasting righteousness. God, and this is the reason He
would do it, that God was not willing that any should glory.
That's why He's doing it this way, that no flesh should glory
in His presence. 1 Corinthians 1, verse 29. This
is the reason why God saves men the way He does, by grace. That
no flesh should glory in His presence, but of God are you
in Christ Jesus. Here's the grounds of your resurrection
right here. of God are you in Christ Jesus. For God hath made him to be wisdom
and righteousness and sanctification and redemption. Therefore, all
that Jesus did, consider that everything he did in faith and
obedience, so did all of his elect. When Adam sinned, you and I sinned. Now why is that? He was our representative. Now I didn't see Adam sin, did
you? I wasn't there. I believe Joanne, you're the
oldest one in the room, probably. I don't know. Did you see him? No, you didn't see him. Neither
did anybody before you. We weren't there physically,
but we were there as a representative. When Adam sinned, we sinned. When Adam died, we died. But
the glory of this is that when Jesus Christ obeyed, you obeyed. When Jesus Christ died in your
stead, you died in him. And when he rose again from the
dead, listen, you rose from the dead in Him. Romans 5, verse 10, it says,
for when we were enemies. When did God reconcile you? When
did God redeem you? When did Christ die for you?
When you were friends? When you were enemies. When you
were enemies. For if when you were enemies
We were reconciled to God. This is so wonderful.
You were reconciled to God before you knew you were reconciled
to God. Before you even wanted to be
reconciled to God. God reconciled you to himself
by the death of his son. Much more. Being already. Being reconciled. What's the
result? We shall be saved by what? By His resurrection. That's how
we know it was successful. That's how we know He actually
did it. We were represented by Adam,
but by grace, even before Adam's sin, we had another representative. Behold, then, the grounds of
our resurrection is rooted in the work of Jesus Christ, listen
to this word, alone. You got that? I'm going to be raised
from the dead solely because of His work and none of my own. That's what
it is to be saved by grace. to be saved through a federal
hand. Thus, when Jesus had finished
the work, when righteousness was established, justice was
satisfied, when sin was forever punished and put away, God then
testified of His victory by raising Him from the dead. Peter says
this in Acts chapter 2. He says, You crucified the Lord
of glory. You crucified Him by wicked hand.
You slew Him. whom God raised up, having loosed from the pains
of death." Now, why in the world would He raise Christ from the
dead? Because it was not possible that death should hold Him. Why should death not hold
Him? What would cause death to hold
anybody? But because there was no more
sin, God raised him from the dead justly. Righteously raised
him from the dead and exalted him and sat him down on the throne
of God. There is a man right now seated
on the throne of God. It is Jesus Christ, our representative. Our federal head. Therefore all
he represented, all who are represented by this man, you may be sure
of this. You may be sure that you shall
be raised even because you are already raised. Here in Ephesians 2, I think
it's Ephesians 2 verse 4, But God who is rich in mercy for
his great love, wherewith he hath loved us even while we were
dead and sinned, hath quickened us. What's the word? Together with Christ. By grace, you are saved. You see how your resurrection
is completely and totally tied to His? The resurrection of Jesus Christ,
this was not done in the corner, this thing was done in the open.
God left himself with more than 500 witnesses of his resurrection. Why was it so important that
he be seen? Why was it important that he
be raised? Why was it important for everybody to know that? If there is no resurrection of
Christ, there is no resurrection of anyone. There is no salvation. If Christ
be not raised, you and I are lost and dead and our religion
and faith are empty. Look at that in 1 Corinthians.
Look at 1 Corinthians 15. Just so you know, I'm not spouting
it out of my own self. 1 Corinthians chapter 15. Look at verse 12. 1 Corinthians 15 and verse 12. Now, if we preach Christ, if
Christ be preached, that he rose from the dead, How say some among
you that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there be
no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. Now
what's the consequence of that? And if Christ be not risen, our
preaching is vain and your faith is also vain. We are found to be false witnesses
of God because we testify that God raised Christ up. Whom he
raised not up, if so be there is no dead are not raised. For
if the dead rise not, then is not Christ risen. And if Christ
be not raised, then your faith is vain, and you are yet in your
sins. They also which are fallen asleep have perished. See, without
the resurrection of Christ, there is no hope of resurrection. But
listen, I've got good news. He is raised. He is raised from
the dead. God raised him from the dead.
God, not willing to leave this truth up for debate, made it
infallible. In fact, our Lord spoke of it. Many times He was seen of 500
witnesses. Our Lord testified that He said,
ought not Christ to have suffered and what? Entered into His glory. David even testified of it. You
can read that back in Acts chapter 2, verse 25 through verse 30
if you want to read that later. So then the hope we have who
are in Christ is this, that he rose from the dead, even so will
we be raised. This is our hope of the resurrection. And secondly, I'll move on with
this point, the spiritual resurrection. If
any one of us is to have hope of this resurrection, now we
know this, that Christ as a representative, came into this world, he died
for the sins of his people, he provided righteousness for all
of his elect, he rose again for all the justification of his
elect people. Now then, how then may I know
that I have part in this resurrection? Simply this, by a spiritual resurrection. If any one of us is to have any
hope of the resurrection from the dead, it is because we have
experienced the resurrection or the quickening power of the
Holy Spirit. This resurrection is the one
that John speaks of back in Revelation. Go back to that and look at that.
This first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath
part in the first resurrection. This first resurrection This is not the physical resurrection. You'll hear this many times.
People actually believe that there are many physical resurrections. They do. They believe Christ
is coming somehow again. He's going to raise some people,
and He's going to live here in the world, and He's going to
reign with them a thousand years, and He's going to go back! And
He's going to come back again, and there'll be another resurrection.
Don't listen to that. Know that. This first resurrection
is not speaking of a physical one, but a spiritual one. No
one has part in the second resurrection unless we know this, they have
been quickened from the dead spiritually. Spiritual. This first resurrection is what
he told Nicodemus, that you must be born again. all the elect of God, though
we were united with Christ, redeemed by Christ, and quickened together
with Christ, reconciled to God, yet we are all born dead when
we come into this world. Dead. We are born dead in trespasses
and sins. We all by nature have no life.
Therefore, we have no ability to obey the law, we have no ability
even to come to Christ. You know what Jesus said in John
6? He said, no man can. Now why can't a man come to Christ? Why can't a man come to Christ?
It's very simple, because he's dead. You see how simple the Scriptures
are? They're not complicated. People want to think that this
matter of election and salvation by grace is some complicated
thing. No, it's not. You understand what I say. He
may not like it, but you understand it. You're dead. And how dead
is dead? What could a dead man do? That's
exactly what we could do. to earn or merit our salvation. We are dead. What do we need? We need life. We need life. To come into this world without
life. But I know this, if you believe in Christ, there was
an appointed time where God the Holy Spirit came to you in divine
power. He came Invincibly, irresistibly
to give you life from the dead. If a dead man is dead, how can
he resist someone giving him life? He can't. There's no resistance. Scripture never speaks of the
new birth or the quickening of a sinner as the product of will
or even faith. Faith is not the cause of your
life. Faith is the result of your life. The only cause of life from the
dead is Jesus Christ. He is the resurrection and the
life. He sends His Spirit into this
world to give life. He said that the Nicodemus, he
said the wind blew up where it missed him. You can hear the
sound thereof, but you can't tell where he's coming and where
he's going. so is everyone that is born of the Spirit of God. As many as received Him, to them
gave He the power, the right to be called to become the sons
of God, which were born. Now, how were they born? You're
not going to be able to receive them unless you were born. Now,
how were they born? Not by flesh, not by blood, not
by the will of the flesh, not by the will of man, but the will
of God. You see how this new birth, this
quickening, is not a product of anything you do. It is solely
based on the power and will of God. And you have to quickened. Ephesians 2 verse
1. And you hath he quickened. From what? The dead. This is the first resurrection,
isn't it? You were dead in trespassation. You hath he quickened. There are many illustrations
of this, and I'm not going to be able to finish this, but I
want to give this illustration of this quickening power, this
first resurrection. I think Lazarus is one of the
greatest illustrations of God's saving power. You remember, look
at that in John 11 here. See this first resurrection as
it's pictured in this resurrection of Lazarus. This man that the
Lord loved, he was sick. But they said, Lord, he whom
you love is sick. And he said, this is not unto
death. It's not unto death. Rather, this is for the glory
of God. Sickness was not unto death. Yet he did not heal him, he didn't
speak a word to heal him, but allowed his, the one he loved,
to die. And Jesus tells us in verse 4,
this sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that
the Son of God may be glorified. This was the intent to be a great
picture of how God saved sinners. What was Lazarus' condition? He was dead. Not only was he
dead, he was dead-dead. He was four days dead. Four days dead. Consider that this was our condition. We were dead. Even so, were we dead in sins? This is the case of all the elect
of God. And thus we were dead, but God
had quickened us to life. How? The same way he did Lazarus
by divine call. Look at verse 43. And when he
had thus spoken, he said, cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come
forth. That's particular, isn't it?
Isn't that call in particular? He didn't tell everybody to come
forth. Just that one man, Lazarus. I
imagine if Christ said, come forth, all the graves would have
come up. But you know what? They didn't because he particularly
called that one. This is how he does it. He calls
his elect, those that he chose, those that he redeemed, he calls
them with effectual power. Let me ask you, did Lazarus have
any resistance of coming out? Was there any to resist His omnipotent
power to give life? No! He gave life by His command,
by His will. That's what happened to you through
the preaching of the gospel. God said, live! And you lived. Well, how'd you know you lived?
Because you believed. Faith is an evidence of life. Do you believe? You believe on
the Son of God? Well, how in the world do you
do that, man? That's because God quickened you to life. You had a part in the first resurrection. He called him and he came forth. Behold, there's power in his
voice and all who are called by him obey. I tell you this,
believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. I'm going to tell each one of
you, listen to me very carefully, every one of you. Believe on
the Lord Jesus Christ. Now, if that's effectual to you,
that's because God made it effectual. He spoke life to you, and you
can do what? Same thing Lazarus did. You can
come forth believing. I remember that girl, Danielle,
had that testimony. I've told you many times, and
this thrills my heart. She said, before I started listening
to that message, I did not believe. But all of a sudden, I found
myself believing, and I couldn't help but believe. That's what
it is, isn't it? You can't help but believe. You
believe on the Son of God. He calls them by name. What's
your name? How about this? Sinner. Is that your name? Sinner, come to Christ. Sinner flee from the wrath of
God. Come fall down and believe on
me. And he will save even you. And notice this in verse 44 how
Lazarus came out. He came out. He called him. Lazarus
come forth. And he that was dead came forth,
listen how he came, bound hand and foot with gray clothes. And his face was bound about
with a napkin. Imagine this, I don't know how
in the world, it must have been miraculous. He was wrapped like
a mummy and yet he came out. I don't know if he floated out,
I don't know what happened, but he came out bound hand and foot. Isn't that how you feel when
you come to Christ? You come bound? You come bound under sin? Don't you feel unworthy? You
feel the guilt and shame of your sin? You know what He says to everybody
who comes to Him like that? The same thing He said to Lazarus. Loosen and let it go. He's free now. You that are set
free, you are free from the power of sin. You are free from the guilt of
sin. And when He comes again, you
listen to me, you will be free from the presence of sin. Set you free. You know what free
people do? Those who Christ set free. The
next time you read of Lazarus in John chapter 12, you know
where you find him? Eating with Christ. You find
him communing with the Son of God. When someone's set free,
where do they go? Do they go back to sin? Of course not. Why would we go back
there? Oh, I hate myself. I despise
myself, but I love communion with Him. That's somebody who's
been set free. That's somebody who has taken
part in the first resurrection. This is the revelation. This
is the revelation, the last point of this. This is those who have
been quickened by the Spirit of God made holy and partakers
of the first resurrection. Listen! Over which the second
death hath no When God, when Christ comes again,
the justice of God will smile at you and say, welcome, you blessed
and holy people. Come, enjoy the kingdom the Father
has prepared for you from before the foundation. And the righteous
will say, how can this be? It can be because He is our representative. Because He has procured our salvation. Therefore, when he comes again,
this resurrection is sure. You shall have a part of it.
You are represented by Christ. You are quickened by the Spirit.
That's the revelation of God and given to comfort his people
concerning this resurrection. I pray God will comfort you with
this. Let's stand and be dismissed in prayer.
