If you take your Bibles and turn
with me to Mark chapter 5. Mark chapter 5. We'll be looking at
verse 25 through verse 34. We'll read these verses together,
and I've entitled this message, The Issue and the Remedy of Sin. The Issue of Sin and the Remedy
of Sin. What good is it to describe the
issue of sin without the remedy? So it's necessary that we have
both of these, and I believe in this history we're going to
see what God has purposed for us, which is, we're going to
see the issue of sin in this woman's condition, and then we're
going to see the remedy of sin, what Christ has done for her. Let's read these verses together.
It says, in a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve
years, and had spent many things of many positions, and had spent
all that she had. And notice this, she was nothing
better, but rather grew worse. And when she heard of Jesus,
came in the press behind and touched his garment. For she
said, if I may but touch his clothes, I shall be whole. And notice this, and straightway,
Here's the remedy being applied. And straightway the fountain
of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she
was healed of that plague. And Jesus, immediately knowing
in Himself that virtue, that power had gone out of Him, He
turned Him about in the press and said, Who touched my clothes? We know it's not for information,
but rather so that everyone else should know. And his disciples
said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and
thou sayest, Who touch me? And he looked round about to
see her that had done this thing. But the woman, fearing and trembling,
knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him,
and told him all the truth. And notice his gracious words.
He didn't rebuke her here, watch this. No, he actually intended
this to happen. He said to her, and he said to
her, daughter, daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole. Go
in peace and be whole of thy claim. Now, our Lord Jesus here
in this instance was on his way to the house of Jarius. Jarius
was a ruler in the synagogue. And he came to Jesus immediately
as he stepped off the boat. He came to Jesus with this urgent
message. My daughter is sick. My young
daughter. His young daughter was sick and
lieth at the point of death. It was an urgent request. It
was a time-sensitive request of Jesus. And notice that Jesus
agrees to go. He is very agreeable to go and
heal this one's daughter. And notice something happens.
And Jesus went with him, and notice this in verse 24, and
much people followed him and thronged him. This man's daughter
was dying, and yet all of a sudden the crowds come in. They seem
to impede Jesus' progress to get to this young daughter. And not only this, but now then,
this woman is also going to impede this progress. And the Scripture
says, and a certain woman. This woman. It's not a parable,
this is a true story. And I want us to enter into this
woman's plight, friends. It's very necessary for us to
consider what this woman had endured. The Scriptures are plain,
and they tell us what she had been through. so that we might
enter into her suffering, her hurt. And so the Scriptures tell
us she had an issue of blood. In other words, she was hemorrhaging.
She was constantly bleeding for 12 years. Can you imagine? Twelve years this woman suffered
constant bleeding, constant fatigue. Constant pain, constant trouble. For 12 years, she was slowly
bleeding to death. Dying. What did she do? She did what any one of us would
have done. She went to doctors. I get sick,
I go to a doctor. Not only go to one, because one
can't handle it. I got to go to 20 doctors just
to get something done. That's what she had to do. So
she went to all these doctors over 12 years, and notice what
the Scripture says, she suffered many things then. This was a
painful experience. She suffered for 12 years, and
notice that she didn't even get better. Rather, getting better,
how frustrating would it be that she spent all that she had on
these doctors, and nothing got better, only it got worse. Now she's broke, she's destitute.
Notice this, there's no welfare in this time. There's no Medicaid
that she can get on, there's no hospice help, there's nothing. She's destitute, she is homeless,
she has nothing. She's broke. Can you imagine the hopelessness
this woman felt? If God would, by grace, let us
have some compassion to see her plight. To see how helpless she
was. The utter despair that she must
have been in. But notice in verse 27, there
is a glimmer of hope. She heard of someone. She heard
of Jesus. Jesus had just come off of healing
that demoniac. And now He comes and He's swearing
He's going to help this man with his daughter who is at the point
of death. And she hears this, and she has
some hope. She has some hope. She hears
that Jesus is going to heal this daughter of this ruler. So she's desiring to go unnoticed. She comes in and she says, well,
if He can heal her daughter, Perhaps peradventure, I like
that word, peradventure, he might be able to heal me. But this
woman, she didn't come up and ask like Jairus did. No, she
couldn't. She couldn't ask. There was a
very specific reason why this woman was hiding and trying to
go unnoticed. And that is simply because it
was against the law for her to touch anyone. I'm going to read
this in Leviticus chapter 15, you don't have to go there, I
just want to read this to you, verse 25. It says a woman having
an issue of blood many days out of her time. Women menstruate,
but after this, if after their time, if they're continuing to
bleed, listen, if it run beyond her time of separation, listen,
all the days all the days of the issue of her uncleanness
shall be as the days of separation, she shall be unclean." And notice
this, in verse 26 it says, she touches her bed, her bed's unclean.
She touches her clothes, her clothes is unclean. If she touches
someone else, he is unclean. Ceremonially, if she touched
someone, they would have to ceremonially go and wash. Here's Jesus, He's
on an urgent mission to heal this young daughter, and she
knows if she touches Him, He would have to stop and go wash
Himself ceremonially, and this young girl would die. And so she asked Jesus, she feared
this, that He would say no. That He would say no. That he was on this mission to
heal this ruler's daughter and he couldn't stop to heal her
and wash himself. So she was afraid. And so what
does she do? She presses in behind this crowd. She gets into this
crowd and she says this within herself. She says, if I can just
touch his clothes. He's got so much power that if
I just touch his clothes, surely I could be healed. And you know
what happened? Amazing! Wonderful! The Scripture
says this, when she touched, she was straightway, verse 29,
straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt
in her own body that she was healed. She was healed. But then Jesus does something
unexpected. She didn't expect this to happen.
She thought she'd get in touch and just leave. No one would
know. but her. But Jesus stops in the
middle. He just stops. He's on His way. He's rushing to get to this daughter.
The crowd's pressing in and He just stops. And He looks around
and He asks the question you never think. Who touched me?
Who touched me? And the disciples think He's
crazy. Everybody's touching you. What do you mean the crowds are
thronging you and you ask who touched you? And He said, listen,
power's gone out of me. I know it. And I'm not going
to move until I expose the one that did it. And you know what
happened. He looks around. And I like that. Look back at your text. In verse
32. And he looked round about to
see her. He knew who he was going to look
for. He knew who he was looking for. He saw her. And she, knowing
she can no longer be hid, trembling and fearing, she comes before
Him and tells Him the truth. Tells Him the truth. But notice,
He doesn't rebuke her. He uses words of grace to her,
and He says this. She's afraid. You got that? She's
afraid. She knows who this man is. She's
afraid. And Jesus says these words to
her. He was going to heal a daughter.
But right here, He healed a daughter. Not just any daughter. Not Jairus'
daughter. His daughter. This is my daughter. Daughter, you're mine. Isn't
that something? Daughter. Thy faith hath made thee whole.
Now listen to this. It was the object of her faith
that made her whole. Her faith was necessary and faith
was given her of Christ, but it was the object of that faith.
It was Christ that made her whole. She looked to Him in faith. And it was that faith that looks
to Him that made her whole. He said, Go in peace and be completely
whole of thy plague. Oh, man. Now, what in the world
does this have to do with us? It's a beautiful story, isn't
it? It's a wonderful... I imagine that story is the...
She probably repeated that story all the rest of her life. That
was a very intimate story for her. What does that have to do
with you and me? Let me answer that question by
saying everything. Everything, because everything...
Everything that has to do with man, with sin, with death, with
righteousness, with justice and judgment and salvation is all
in this history. Holy Spirit is very wise. Jesus didn't go around healing
just for healing's sake. It is a gospel message, friend.
That's what we're here for, isn't it? Hear a gospel message. Well,
this is it. This woman. The first thing that
this history tells us is this. The issue of sin. The issue of sin. This woman
had an issue of blood. She was bleeding to death. And
according to the law, she was unclean. This, my friends, is
the case of every one of us by nature. Every one of us has an
issue of blood. An issue of blood. We by nature
are unclean and all we touch, all we do is unclean. Just like this woman. According
to the law, everything she touched was unclean because she had an
issue of blood. And so it is with us. We have
an issue of blood, not outwardly, but spiritually an issue of blood
that stems way back to our father. Way back to our father, Adam,
this woman, and notice this woman had an issue of blood 12 years.
That's a long time, isn't it? 12 years this woman suffered. But I tell you, this issue of
sin, this issue of sin that every one of us has by nature, has
been going on since the beginning. Since the beginning. It has been
going a long time. See how long men have suffered
with this issue of sin. The Scriptures are clear that
by one man, by one man's sin, he entered into the world. What did sin bring with it? Death. Why do you think things die? Why do you think people suffer? Sin promises pleasure but can
only give death. That's it. Why do you think there's so much
heartache and trial? Because sin entered into the
world. And death by sin. And notice
this, death passed through the blood. Death passed upon all
men through the blood of our father Adam. We are his children. He was our representative, and
as such, sin entered into the world, and death by sin. So death
passed upon all men. Why? For all have this issue
of sin. All of us. This woman, notice
this, she could not worship. She could not go to the temple.
She could not worship with God's people. That's true of us too.
Man by nature cannot worship God. He cannot know God. He cannot worship God. He worships
the creature. He worships himself. He worships
the God of his own imagination. But he cannot worship God. By nature, we cannot worship
God or enjoy the things of God. We cannot and we will not receive
the things of God. Let me ask you this, have you
seen your issue? If you never know your issue,
you'll never know the remedy. You see, the issue is vital.
If man only has a partial need of salvation, then his salvation
is only going to be partial. You see, you must understand
that you're like this woman. You have no hope of healing yourself. Not of sin. Not of sin. Have you seen your condition?
Do you know your sin has separated you from God? Do you know who
you are? That you are unclean and everything
you do is unclean? Isaiah said, from the sole of
our foot to the crown of our head is nothing. There is nothing
else but wounds and bruises and pussing sores full of sin. It's not been bound up. It's
not been mollified with ointment. There's no medicine for this.
You can't find a remedy for sin. Not physically. There is no physical
religious remedy for sin. Now notice this, what did she
do when she found out she had this issue? She tried to fix
it. She tried to fix it herself,
could not fix it herself, so what did she do? She went to
doctors. Look at that in verse 26. "...and suffered many things
of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing
better, but rather grew worse." When she knew her condition,
she went to the doctor like all of us would do, They poked and
they prodded and they tested. They drew blood out. They did
everything they possibly knew to do. She suffered many things. I'll
tell you this, when a man is made to feel his sin, he will
suffer many things to try to get rid of it. When a man feels
guilt, and I mean true guilt of his sin, he will try anything
to get rid of it. anything. I'm not talking about
twinge of conscience. Every man's got a twinge of conscience.
I'm talking about real Holy Spirit conviction. When a man is convinced
of his sin, when he is convinced of God's wrath and judgment,
when he is sure that he has nothing and no hope, he will search high
and low until he finds something. I've had many men come in and
cry and Tell me how guilty they feel and how horrible they feel.
You know, they come for a few times and then by and by they
just go away. You know what that is? That's
just regular old conscience. That's nothing but regular. When
God gets a hold of a man, you won't be able to do that. When
you're convinced of your issue, you can't do nothing but until
it's settled. Until it's settled. This woman, she knew that guilt When a man is made to feel the
fountain of his sin, his guilt, his debt he owes to an eternal
justice of God, he will flee to all sorts of religious doctors. Isn't this true? Most of us.
I mean, if God hadn't graced you to actually find a man quickly,
most all of God's people had sought religion at some point. When our father Adam sinned,
he sought a remedy. He sought it in fig leaves. Sinner, do you feel your uncleanness?
Do you feel your need? Have you seen that your good
works cannot cover your sins? That's usually the first doctor
men go to, right? Doctor good works. Well, you
know, all you got to do is feed the hungry. All you got to do
is go on the mission field and you got to build houses. And
if you do enough good works, then your issue of sin will dry
up. But the more you do good works,
if you're convicted of the Spirit, the more you do good works, the
more you know this, I am unclean, unclean, unclean. You'll look
at your good works and say, unclean, unclean, unclean. You'll not
go better, you'll just get worse. Some people go to Dr. Freewill.
All you got to do is make a decision to be better. You just got to
go to just deciding yourself to go to Jesus. And then eventually,
if you repent enough, then you won't even feel your sin anymore. You'll be better. All you got
to do is accept Jesus in your heart. And all will be well. But the
Word of God says, no, you must be born again. There's a difference
between deciding to accept Jesus and actually being born again. Why? One's from God and one's
from you. Being born again is of God. Being
a free will decision, well, that's of you. That's of you. And listen, if that's all you've
got, you'll grow none better but grow worse. If God's convicted
you, that decision won't do anything. I remember when I made the decision.
I had that preacher and he'd tell me, just come on up here
and say this prayer. I did. I went away worse than
when I came. Why? There was no remedy there.
There was no remedy. How about Dr. Duncombe? All you've
got to do is be baptized. If you just get baptized, you
can wash away your sin. in a pool of water, baptized
and your sins are gone. Doctor, eat them up. All you
need is the Lord's Supper. You just take this Eucharist
and put it in your mouth and you drink this wine and then you'll
be united to Christ. Doctor, join them. All you need
to do is join the church. You just need to join the church. Get into a community of believers
and entertain yourself and you'll feel better. A lot of people
feel better when they get into a church, don't they? They get
a lot of entertainment, basketball programs, all kinds of things. Dr. Legalism. Well, you just
need to obey the Ten Commandments and you'll feel better. Not if
God gets ahold of you, you won't. That's what Paul said. He said,
when the commandment came, sin revived and what? I died. When God gets a hold to you by
His law, you won't grow better, you'll only grow worse. So how
many sinners suffer at the hands of these fools? How many today
are still suffering at the hands of these foolish doctors, trying
to make salvation a work of man, trying to make salvation a work
of man's will, instead of seeing what God says salvation is of
the Lord? Salvation is of the Lord. I know that these doctors, I'm
sure they're just as zealous, these religious men and those
who follow them are zealous, but I also have no doubt that
all free will works religion are ignorant of the righteousness
of God and no one is saved by Him. Just like this woman was
not healed by these doctors. I tell you this, no one is healed
by free will works religion. If you want to read it, you can
read it yourself in Jeremiah chapter 23 verses 28 to 32. God says of false prophets, they
shall not profit this people at all. Is that clear enough
for you? False prophets shall not profit
my people one bit. Is that clear? Just like these
doctors, they will not make you better. Religion will only make
someone convinced of the Holy Spirit of sin, will only make
him worse. If religion can make you better,
it's because you're not convinced of your sin. That's it. And so, you see, This problem
is not just an outward problem. Religion tries to fix up the
outward, doesn't it? Jesus told those Pharisees, He
said, you clean the cup on the outside. But the problem is on
the inside. You know what's hard about that?
You can't do anything on the inside. Nothing you do on the
outside can affect the inside. Religion is always trying to
work from the outside in, but true religion always is God working
from the inside out. It's God working in the heart
of man, and God saving someone inside, and then it shows itself
outside. See, man doesn't see that sin
affects the whole man, that all our righteousness is our filthy
rags. If a man would believe that,
he would do away with all works religion, wouldn't he? Just like
this woman had to do away with all those doctors, because they
were doctors of no value. And so the third thing is then
the remedy. The remedy for sin. We saw her
issue, there's a picture of our issue with sin. We saw that religion
is no help. Works religion is no help. She
spent all that she had. And I'll tell you this, a man
will spend, he has to spend everything before he'll ever come to Christ.
You know that? You've got to get rid of everything before
you come to Christ. We'll try anything. That's man by nature
will try anything It's only when God brings a man to the end of
himself will he come to Christ. And that's what he did to this
woman. He brought her to the end. She didn't have anything else.
She was desperate. Listen, are you a desperate sinner?
Because if you're a desperate sinner, that's the only one who'll
flee to Christ. And notice this. It was just
at that point she heard that. Isn't that amazing? What a coincidence,
don't you think? She spent everything. She was
destitute. She was hopeless. And then, why
didn't she hear something before that? She wasn't ready. She wasn't ready. But the moment
she was ready, what'd she do? Listen to that in verse 27, when
she heard of Jesus. She heard. She heard something. Now, whether she heard of the
demoniac He healed, or whether she heard He was going to heal
this daughter of Jairus, she heard this man had power to heal. She heard of Jesus. She spent
all she had. She was destitute and she heard.
Even so it is when God will heal a man, he must first remove all
his hopes and all the props upon which the sinner leans for help.
Now if you want to see this in Hosea, there's a beautiful picture
of this in Hosea, isn't there? Hosea chapter 2. Remember Hosea
was made to marry that harlot, And he married her, had some
children by her, and then all of a sudden, you know what, she
left. She left. The scripture says, your mother
has played the harlot. She had convinced them to have
done shamefully, for she said, I will go after my lovers that
give me my bread and water and wool and wax, flax and oil and
drink. But you know what old Hosea did?
He's a picture of God. When God comes after a sinner,
that picture's us. That's us. We said, I will have
my way. I will go after my fleshly desires. And God said, oh yeah. You're
my bride. He does this to all his brides.
He said, I will hedge up your way with thorns. I will make
a wall and she shall not find her paths. And she shall follow
after her lovers, but she shall not overtake them. She shall
seek them, but she shall not find them. In other words, sin,
when God takes, when God's going to save a man, He takes pleasure
out of sin. He does. He does. He shows the
misery of it. And then what does the gomer
do? She said, well, I'm going to go back to my first son. That's what
we do. We go to religion. We go back to the first fruit,
the first works. Religious deeds. We go back to
that. She said, I'm going to go back
to my first husband, religious, those doctors. Well, then it
was better with me than it is now. And know this, she didn't
know I was the one giving all that stuff to her. When you were
in your sin, who was supplying all your needs? It was God. It was God. But then when God
is going to save her, what does He do? He said, I'm taking away
my corn, my wine, my oil. He takes it all away. Just like
He did this woman. He took everything she had. Why
did he do that? He says this, Therefore I will
allure her. That's what he does. He brings
us a sinner to nothing to what? Allure us. Allure us. Bring her into the wilderness
and speak comfortably to her. And that's what this message
here she heard was a comforting message. It was a message of
hope. She heard that Jesus was able to heal. How precious is this word in
the ears of this woman? Can you imagine how precious
that was? Jesus was passing by to heal this man's daughter.
Oh, maybe He could perhaps heal me. And she comes here, and she
comes in. She tries to sneak in. She said, when she heard of Jesus, she
came behind in the press and touched His garment. For she
said, if I may touch but His clothes, I shall be whole. You
see, she put all her faith in that man. All her hope of healing
was in that man. And she comes with no merit.
Matter of fact, she's not even allowed to come. Isn't that something? You know what, sinner? By nature,
you're not allowed to come. Yet here's a text that invites
you to come. Here's a text that says, come
while you're unclean. You see, you can only come to
God by Christ. Christ only receives unclean
sinners. And she sneaks in behind him
and touches him, and she's healed. And you know
what? Jesus said, who touched me? You
see, He's not going to let this go because He must receive the
glory for this. He must manifest that He is the
remedy for sin. Jesus, now passing by, behold,
He says, Who touched me? I'll tell you this, if you're
a lost sinner, I encourage you to do what this woman did. Because
Jesus came to seek and to save that which was lost. He came
to save unclean sinners. Are you lost? Then come to Jesus. Come now. And by faith, touch Him. And
I'll tell you this, you'll have the same experience as this woman
here. Look what happened. And straightway, the fountain
of her blood was dried up, and she felt within her body that
she was healed of that plague. Friends, there is a fountain
open for sin. Now there was a fountain of sin
opened in the garden. A fountain of uncleanness. That
fountain pours out of us. We are unclean. We have an issue
of blood. We have an issue of sin. But
Jesus Christ is another fountain. A fountain open for sin. A fountain open to cleanse sin. A fountain open to remedy the
issue. of blood. Jesus Christ came into the world
to save sinners. Are you destitute? Are you poor? Are you needy? Have you found
religion to be nothing? Then listen, I urge you this,
come to Christ now. And what this woman received
is what you will receive. Immediate healing. Immediate healing. That's the
next thing. The remedy applied. He's the
remedy. What good is a remedy if it's
not applied? If you're sick and you've got
a medicine over here, what good is the medicine on the counter?
You see, it must be applied. It must be applied. And when
she touched him, when she believed and she touched him, there was
something real that happened. Something immediate, straightway
she was healed. The blood was dried up. So it
is in the moment, in the very moment that a man believes on
Christ, he is immediately dried up. All of his sins are immediately
gone. You see, actually they were gone
before that. You just didn't experience it
yet. You just didn't know it yet. It wasn't yet applied to
you. It was accomplished before you,
but now once you touch, that virtue goes out of Him and into
you. You see, salvation is not a process. Religion makes it a process.
You step up, you step up. Little here, little there, you
step up. No, salvation is immediate. Once a man is saved, he's saved. And there's no unsaving him. It's a work of God. It's not
a work of man. If it's a work of man, you can
undo it. It's a work of God, no one can undo it. God did it. When God healed this woman, no
doctor would come in and mess it up. This woman, She was healed. Not on accident. She was healed
on purpose. Do you suppose Jesus was going
that way by accident? You suppose He landed on that
shore by accident to get the jerrys? And this whole holding
up business, this whole crowd thronging Him is all by accident? No, it's all on purpose. If you
believe, to you it seems perventure, doesn't it? But not to Him. It
was on purpose He saved this woman. And that's what He does
with sinners. He heals them on purpose. I like
this in 2 Timothy 1 and verse 8. It says, Be thou not ashamed
of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me as prisoner. Be thou
partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power
of God. Salvation is what? It's the power
of God, isn't it? Listen, this is salvation. It's
of God who saved us and called us. Now, which was first? The saving or the calling? God
who saved us. When Christ came and provided
righteousness, He saved us. When Christ, by His shedding
of His blood on Calvary's tree, He redeemed us, He saved us. And then, at the appointed time,
He did what? He called us with an effectual
holy calling. Not according to works, but according
to His own purpose. See, it's purpose. It's on purpose.
He saved this woman on purpose. He saves us the purpose of what
grace which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began
This was given to us that woman this healing that woman was done
in the eyes of God from eternity And so is your salvation it was
done But now Paul says it's manifest It's manifest help by actual
healing by the giving of a new nature, a new heart. This is
the gospel message. The effectual working of God
through the work of Jesus Christ. The accomplishment of salvation
by Jesus Christ. And the application of salvation
by the Holy Spirit. This is God's will. It's God's
purpose. And this is the gospel I preach
unto you. There's healing. Now, is there anyone with an
issue of blood? I'm going to make that as broad as I possibly
can. Maybe you don't think your issue
is big. Maybe you think your issue is massive. I don't care
the size of your issue of blood. Do you have one? Do you have
one? Let me ask you this. Why will you die? Why will you die? If you die, it will be your own
rebellion. And listen to this, this woman,
she felt it. She felt it. Can you imagine
the joy of this woman? How much more is the joy of a
believer when he feels within himself the fountain of his sin? That God has put away my sin
forever. What joy! The burden rolls off
into the tomb. My sin is gone. What sin? All of it. When Christ bore my
sin in His own body on the tree, God poured out wrath on Him. And because He suffered in my
stead, God being just, cannot demand twice payment for sin. All my sin is gone. When she felt that, she felt
joy. How did this come? It came by
faith, didn't it? Faith. She believed on Him. Do
you believe on Him? Do you put all of your hope in
Him? Was He successful? Did He actually put away your
sins? Now see, the reason we doubt is because we really don't
believe that. It's because of unbelief, isn't
it? Our fears and our doubts come from unbelief. If we truly
believe He put away our sin, then what do we have to fear? He put away our sin by virtue
of His blood and righteousness. And notice this, He looked upon
her. The eyes of God are pure enough that they cannot behold
evil. I know that when this woman,
when this woman, she was found out, the scripture says she was
afraid. She was afraid. Why? She was afraid to look God
in the face. There he was. He was God. And
she was afraid, and she had every right to be. When a sinner comes
to God with his sins, and God by grace heals him, I tell you,
there's still an amount of fear and reverence. But notice the
words of Jesus Christ. Did He come to her rebuking her? No. Notice what He said. The
woman fearing. She came and she fell down before
Him. That's one thing a man's going
to do when he believes in Christ. He's going to fall down. He's
going to bow down to Jesus Christ. And notice what Christ says to
her, he said, daughter, daughter. Again, that was his daughter.
I'm sure everybody's wondering why he's standing still and not
going to help Jerry's daughter, because his daughter needed help.
And I tell you this, every one of his children, he's going to
find them, and he's going to heal every one of his children.
Daughter, what? Thy faith hath made thee whole.
In other words, I have made thee whole. Isn't that a joy? You didn't do anything, I did
it. I did it for you. That faith
that you had, where'd that come from? For by grace you are saved through
faith, and that not of yourself. It is the gift of God. Thy faith
hath made thee whole, listen, go in peace, and behold of thy
plague." Jesus Christ has come to seek
and to save those with an issue of sin. By nature we have an
issue of sin. By nature men go about to establish
their righteousness through these doctors of no For when God is
ready to save a sinner, He brings him to the end of himself, hopeless
like this woman. He gives them the gospel they
hear of Christ. And by His grace and faith, they
touch Him. And everyone that touches Him
is made whole. Everyone. Everyone. You got that? Everyone. I know the elect are
those people, Who are they? I don't know. They're everyone
that touches Him. I know that. Aren't they? They're
everyone that believes in Him. Those are the elect. That's how
it's manifest. I know this. Everyone that believes
in Him feels within themselves through faith in Christ that
we've been made whole. And we bow down. We worship Him. And He says, daughter, Daughter, go in peace. Why? I've made peace. There's
no animosity between God and you. I've made peace. And you
are whole of your plague. You're whole of sin. What a blessing. May God bless us to our hearts,
we who have come. If you've not come, why not? Is not the door open now? Is
there not hope now? Then come now. And when you come,
come now. And when you come now, come now. Pray that God would do this for
you and bless you.
