All right, if you'll take your
Bibles and turn with me to Galatians. Galatians 2. My text will be found in verse
16. Knowing that a man is not justified
by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ. Even we have believed in Jesus
Christ that we might be justified by the faith of Christ and not
by the works of the law. For by the works of the law shall
no flesh be justified. The title of my message this
evening is Free Justification. Free. Free Justification. The Apostle Paul in preface to
our text, he shares with us an example, a history, if you will,
of his meeting with the Apostle Peter at the church at Antioch. Peter had been eating with the
Gentiles. He had been worshiping and they
had had these celebration feasts, these what they call love feasts.
They would fellowship together and eat together. And one day,
some Jews came from Jerusalem where James was their pastor,
and they had come in while Peter was sitting there eating his
pork sandwich. And he saw these Jews, and for
fear of them, for fear of reputation, for fear of offending them, he
got up from the table and went over and sat with these Jews. He went over and sat with these
Jews. He withdrew himself. And He didn't do this, you know,
as a mark of love or anything like that. You know, if I'm sitting
with you and some of my brethren would come from another place,
and I would leave you and go over to them, and you would understand
that I'm not separating myself from you. But the reason, the
cause for His separation was the Law. The Law was the cause
of His separation. And so he separates himself.
And in doing so, he incites those other Jews By example, they also
moved away from the Gentiles and associated then only with
the Jews, so much so that Barnabas, Paul's right-hand man, Paul's
fellow preacher that spent so much time with him, even he was
moved by this to go and separate himself in this error. Now Paul seeing this was no small
error. He rebuked him openly in front
of everybody. Paul says here, he says, I rebuked
him to the face. He said in verse 11, But when
Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face because he was
to be blamed. He was to be blamed. He withdrew
himself, fearing them that were of the circumcision, and the
other Jews disassembled likewise with him, insomuch that Barnabas
also was carried away with their dissimulation. When I saw that
he walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, This
was no small thing because when he did that, when he gave his
acknowledgement to those Jews as being distinct and separate
from the Gentiles, he was acknowledging the law still had power. The law still had a place in
the believer's life. And Paul said, Peter, you're
wrong. You're wrong. You do not walk
uprightly. You do not walk according to
the gospel. He says then this. He says, I
said unto Peter before them all, If thou being a Jew livest after
the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compelst
thou the Gentiles to live as the Jews? Peter was saved. Peter knew the gospel of God's
grace. And he ate with the Gentiles
because he knew the law of Moses was passed. You remember that
vision that Peter had received. He received that vision where
the table was spread and he had all sorts of manner of food.
And the Lord said, Eat, Peter. And he said, Oh no, I won't eat.
That's unclean food. The Lord told him to eat. He
did that, I believe, three times. And then he did eat. He was learning. God was teaching him that that
law is now passed. That law is gone. That law was
only a shadow of things to come, but now that Christ has come,
he has done away with the law, period. Lock, stock, and barrel. The law is gone. It's gone. And Peter knew this. And he says,
why then do you, after so long of being with the Gentiles, fellowshipping
with the Gentiles, knowing that this stuff is not unclean, why
then do you, separating yourself, go back under the law? Now I
want you to understand that Peter was going back under the law. He said, don't you know that
you are compelling the Gentiles who were never given the law
to go under the law? Every one of you are Gentiles.
Do you know none of us were given that law of Moses? That law was
never given to us. That law wasn't given to us.
It was a law of Moses and it was specifically for the Jewish
nation. It was a type and picture. He said, why then do you compel
the Jews to do the same? He said, now you being a Jew,
now being born again of the Spirit of God, you being born under
the Law, you should know better. You should know better. And he
uses this as a springboard. This example he now uses to teach
this message, this text before us. He says, knowing. He said,
you who are a Jew by nature and not a sinner of the Gentiles,
knowing. that a man is not justified by the works of the law. If anybody
should know that, you should, Peter. You being a Jew, you knowing
the law more than all of the Gentiles put together, you know
this, being saved by the grace of God, that no man ever in the
history of mankind was ever justified by the works of the law. You
should know that. knowing that a man is not justified
by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ. Even we have believed in Jesus
Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ and not
by the works of the law, for by the works of the law shall
no flesh be justified." Now, if there's ever a scripture in
all of the book of Galatians that would give you a A summary of the whole book is
that verse right here. The whole purpose of this letter
the Apostle Paul was writing was because the Gentile believers
in the church were being deceived to think that Christ, that circumcision
was to be added to Christ. They said, oh, believing in Christ
is good, but you must add this one area of the law, circumcision. And this whole text here totally
sums up the whole of this book. Therefore, if any gospel that
is preached by man or angel opposes this text, it should be cursed. This is the summation of the
whole book and the whole gospel. Really, if you want to sum up
the whole Gospel, you can sum it up by this text here. And if
any message goes against this Gospel, it should be accursed. If anyone defies that salvation
is by grace through faith in Christ alone, and returns to
the Law to finish the work, that man has separated himself from
the Gospel, and it no longer is the Gospel. And this is the sum of it. Salvation
of sinful men is by the free and sovereign grace of God. This
is the sum of it. That justification, justification,
salvation, is by the free and sovereign grace of God obtained
by the obedience and blood of Christ given to the elect by
the Holy Spirit through faith in Christ alone. without the
deeds of the law. Paul says in Romans 3, if you
want to read that in Romans 3, he starts out, you remember that
man is sinful, man is without righteousness, the law can only
condemn, and then he says the righteousness of God is by Jesus
Christ, and it is given to all who believe. And he says, therefore
we conclude, And a man is justified not by the deeds of the law,
but by the faith in Christ. By the faith of Christ. So then, everyone that is saved,
everyone that is justified by such grace, justified by the
faith of Christ, obtained faith in Him, we are then dead The law then is dead to us, and
we are dead to the law. The law has no part to bring
us to God, none whatsoever. And so then, all you who are
saved like Peter, you should know these things. And we're
just going to go right down the list as what Paul told Peter,
knowing. Knowing. What is it that Peter
should have known to save him from this error? Now listen,
we are all prone to error. We are all prone to this. The
old man is so prone to legalism that we could be under it without
even knowing it. We could be deceived. And we
should be aware of this. We should be aware of what we
know. Paul says first of all this,
Knowing that no man is justified by the works of law. That's what
we know. We know this. No man ever was
justified by the works of the law. The Word of God is not vague. It is not unclear in regards
to man's spiritual condition. God declares that all the children
of Adam are born dead in trespasses and sins. This leaves no room
for debate, no room for argument, no room for speculation. This is a gospel truth. Either
man is born dead in sins or he isn't. Either man cannot save himself
or he can. Romans chapter 5. and verse 12. This leaves no room for speculation. Romans chapter 5 and verse 12. Wherefore, as by one man sin
entered into the world, we know that man is Adam. We know that
man is your father, my father, Adam. One man's sin entered into
the world. And what is the result? Death
by sin. In the day thou eatest thereof,
thou shalt surely die. And he did surely die. And so death passed. Why is that? Because he was a
federal head. He was a representative man. When Adam died, so did all of
us in our head. Adam. So death passed upon all
men. Why? For that all have sinned. Sinned. Romans chapter 8. A few pages over, Romans chapter
8 and verse 7. Because the carnal mind is enmity
against God. And because it's dead, listen
at the result. The result is enmity, hatred
against God. For the carnal mind is not subject
to the law of God, neither indeed can be. Now is it any wonder
why that Paul said, knowing that a man is not justified by the
deeds of the law. No flesh shall be justified by
the deeds of the law. Why? Man by nature cannot be
subject to the law. No matter how hard you try, no
matter how much effort you put into it, you cannot be subject. Well, I can't. God said you can't. Okay? Go do what you want to.
God said you can't. Sorry. Not going to argue with
you. God said no. 1 Corinthians 2 and verse 14 tells
us that the natural man, he cannot receive the things of God, for
he's spiritually judged. Neither can he know them. He's
spiritually judged. So that's no ambiguous statement
there, is it? There's no room for doubt. Now, natural man is born a living
creature. Now, what does that mean? When
Adam had his sons, they were living, weren't they? They were
living. You're living right now if you're
hearing me. You're alive. You have breath. And you are
a creature that created of God, no doubt. You have what the old
writers used to call the whole man is the mind, the will, and
the affections. That makes up a whole living
creature. You have these, you are a living
person. But the problem is the mind is
corrupt. The mind by sin is corrupt. The
Scripture says that every thought of the imagination of the heart
is evil continually. Every thought. What comes in
your mind but thoughts? You know what every thought is?
It's corrupt, it's defiled, it's sinful. The will. Every man has a will, but it's
bound. It's bound. It's chained to sin. Therefore there is none righteous. No, not one. There's none that
understand it. There's none that seeketh after God. They are all
together become unprofitable. None that doeth good. No, not
one. And thirdly, the affections of
man is the heart, isn't it? What does Jeremiah say about
the heart? The heart is deceitful and desperately wicked above
all things. Now why do you think your mind
and your will are so corrupt? It is because the heart is corrupt. There's the root problem. And
no amount of law is going to change the heart. It doesn't. Therefore, know it. that by the
deeds of the law shall no flesh be justified." And we preach the total depravity
of man. We preach this, that man cannot
please God. And this offends the natural
man. It is offensive. To tell a man
he cannot save himself is offensive, which proves his deadness, which
proves his depravity. God said you're dead. Well, that's
offensive. That just proves you hate God.
You just proved my point. By defying God, you just proved
it. The sinner's offended. Now, I'll tell you this, a sinner
will come to Christ. A sinner will come to Christ
so long as Christ is a servant. Isn't that right? Well, I come of my own free will,
therefore Christ must save me. If I've come of my own will,
if I've come of my own obedience, then I've obligated God to be
my servant. Now, they'll come if that's so.
but they won't come if they must bow to Christ as King. You see,
he'll have Christ help him so long as he can have his own works
and have his part in salvation, so long as he can add some measure
of obedience, he'll accept Christ. Which, by the way, is nowhere
found in Scripture. Do you know that? Accept Jesus.
There is no Scripture whatsoever that says for you to accept Jesus.
None. Therefore Jesus said of the natural
man, no man can come unto me except the Father which has sent
me draw him, because man is totally depraved, corrupt, and will never
come as an absolute sinner needing an absolute Savior. He will never come unless..."
Now this is good. This is good news. Except, there's
a divine exception here. No man can come to Me. What if
He closed the book on that? And just said, y'all go to hell.
He would have every right to. But God made a divine exception.
"...Except the Father which has sent Me draw him." This is the
only way. except the light of the glorious
gospel of Jesus Christ should shine in our hearts." And when
that gospel shines in our hearts, what is the first thing that
we begin to see? What is the first experience
of grace? Is it not knowing this, that
no man can be justified by the deeds of the law. That's the
first A of the alphabet of grace. You must understand your absolute
depravity. You must. This is, no man, again,
like I said, no man is going to need an absolute Savior unless
he is absolutely, completely depraved. Then, knowing that,
he will then sue for an absolute Savior. He will have to have
one. When the light of the gospel
comes in, the scripture, cursed is everyone that continueth not
in all things written in the book of the law to do them. How
many false preachers have gone about trying to divide the law?
You've read some of these? They divide it into the moral
law. They say, well, the Ten Commandments,
that's what is the moral law. And then you have the dietary
law, which said, you know, Peter, he was having problems eating
that pork sandwich, that you can't eat certain animals, that
they're unclean. Then they'll say the governmental
law. Then they'll divide it into the
ceremonial law, which is all the sacrifice. Do you know that
Scripture never divides the law? Never. There is no division of
law. The law is the law is the law
is the law. I don't care if it's about sacrificing
or tithing or eating unclean animals. All law is law and cursed
is everyone that cannot continue if not in all things. All things. You see, men divide the law so
that they can try to find parts that they can obey. And that's
the whole purpose. That's the whole purpose. They
divide it so they can try to find loopholes in it. No. No, if you didn't sacrifice an
animal today at the altar, at Brazen Altar in Jerusalem, where
the temple was supposed to be, then you've already defiled the
law. I don't care if you try to keep the moral law, what you call
the moral law or not. You've defiled the law. The law
is the law. And this is the first thing we
are made to know that we have no hope of ever obeying that
law. That we have already defiled the law. You realize that if
you were to be able from this moment to fully obey that law
in every jot and tittle, you have already broken it. And there is no offering you
can make to satisfy or rectify what you've already failed to
obey. Why? The law does not provide
such a thing. The blood of bulls and goats
can never take away sin. That's the first thing we know.
What's the second thing we know? Look at this. Knowing. This is what we know. that by
the faith of Jesus Christ. A man is justified not by the
works of the law, but justified by the faith of Jesus Christ. When the sinner is exposed before
God, then we fled. We fled. And we may not at first know
where to flee, but we were going to flee somewhere. We fled. Usually a man flees
to Sinai first, doesn't he? But he finds no rest or hope
there, so in grace God the Holy Spirit sends the gospel message
which testifies of Jesus Christ. that God in sovereign love and
grace had a people that He had purposed to save. That God had
chosen and loved a people from eternity and purposed to save
them. This is the gospel message that
God had purposed to save. Therefore, in a covenant of grace,
When God purposed to save His people, make them holy, elect,
and justify them that they should be His sons. God says of these elect, I love
this verse, I read it yesterday, I will set mine eyes upon them
for good. I will bring them again to the
land and I will build them up and not pull them down. I will
plant them and not pluck them up. I will give them a heart
to know that I am the Lord and they shall be my people and I
will be their God. For they shall return unto me
with their whole heart." This is the promise of salvation.
This is the good news for those who cannot justify themselves. For those who have no hope, God
says, I have a people that I will show them. I will cause them
to know me. And they shall return unto me.
But how can this be? You know, Job, in his ponderings,
he asked, how can a man be justified with God? That's a good question,
isn't it? Now, God, You said there's going
to be a people, and they will be Your people, and You will
be their God. But how can this be? How is it that You could
take a people who are so vile and so rebellious, who have broken
Your law, how is it that You can be just and still embrace
them? How is that possible? Well, God made a covenant. God
made a covenant. It is called the covenant of
grace. It is a covenant of grace and power and God in this covenant
purposed to do all the work necessary. Whatever was necessary to bring
those sinful people and justify them so that He might embrace
them, He promised to do it, to do all the work. This covenant
is not of works or merit, but one of forgiveness and pardon.
He says, I will make a new covenant with them. Not after the old
covenant which they break, but I will make a new covenant, one
of forgiveness. I will forgive their sins and
remember their iniquities no more. Well, how can this be? It's a vital question that must
be asked and answered. How can God be just and justify
the ungodly? There was a judge this past week
out in Oregon. She had a man that was an illegal
immigrant in her courtroom, and he had been arrested for public
intoxication or driving under the influence. He was arrested.
And the immigration there were there to pick him up. But this
woman had so much compassion, so much love for this man. I don't know. Maybe she did.
I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt that she thought that
she was doing the right thing. She thought she was being compassionate.
And she took that young man and escorted him out the back door
and let him go free. You can say what you want about
her compassion, but that woman, by releasing a guilty criminal,
is not a just judge. Matter of fact, she should be
charged with a crime and not be a judge. How much more then could God
be just and let you go free? How is it? Well, behold, in the new covenant,
God justifies sinners through what he calls a surety. Surety. Someone who was willing to bear
all the blame and responsibility to save the objects of God's
love. And that one is Jesus Christ,
the Son of God. The Son of God agreed to be the
surety of all His people. In Hebrews chapter 7 and verse
22, it says that He, by an oath to be a high priest of His people,
was made a surety. Guarantee. The Son of God took an oath. The Son of God took an oath to
the Father and said, Father, all those you've given me, I
will justify them. I will satisfy the law on their
behalf. On their behalf. Jesus then has
come And as the Scriptures bear out, He has obtained for us salvation
that we could not ever obtain for ourselves. The Law demanded the righteous
and perfect obedience of the man, and so, as a surety, Jesus,
as a man, obtained it by His obedience to the Law. In that same passage I just read
in Romans 5, where it says that Adam was our federal head, it
also says this, For as by one man's disobedience many were
made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Be made righteous. You see, the Lord Jesus Christ
came into the world to do what you and I couldn't. to honor the Law in every part. You remember, He said, "...not
one jot or one tittle shall be moved from the Law until..."
Until when? There was a time coming when
it should be removed. "...until it be fulfilled." Until
it be honored. In Isaiah, it tells us that the
the servant of God would come, that He would magnify the law
and make it honorable. Make it honorable. Well, how
to do that? Well, first of all, by His obedience,
His perfect obedience. And secondly, by satisfying the
just demands and punishment for our sins. Jesus, being pictured
by both the spotless Lamb and the scapegoat, was offered for
our sins. And the Father had laid on Him
the iniquity of us all. And Jesus Christ being made sin
for us, who was himself the sinless Son of God, bore our sins in
His own body on the tree, suffering full measure." See, this is the
hope we have. This is how we are justified.
It is by another, completely by the actions and obedience
of another. The justification is by the obedience
of Christ. and by the death of Christ. And so the Lord Jesus Christ
on that cursed tree suffered all the full measure of the weight
and wrath of God for us. And as He hung upon that tree,
bearing our sins, suffering the wrath of God, yet He through all of this... I want you to see what the Apostle
is saying in our text. You are justified by the faith
of Christ. The faith of Christ. What does
that mean? It means through everything He
maintained faith in God. You see, the whole basis of obedience
to the law is faith in God. You remember those Jews, how
they divided their leaves and tithed? And Jesus said, well,
you missed the weightier matters of the law. You got that. You
got that down. That's good, boys. But you missed
the whole foundation of it. Faith, judgment, mercy. All of those are the foundation.
You missed that. And you should have done the
other as well. Jesus did both. He did all of the outward things
as well as the inward. And in faith, He believed God. Do you know this? That when He
suffered our sins upon the tree, made sin for us, yet He never
lost His faith. Never stop looking to God. Imagine all the souls in hell
right now suffering. They have no faith in God. Yet he maintained his faith even
being separated from God. He maintained His faith. And
by this, He obtained our justification. He obtained it by His faith and
faithfulness to God and redeemed us to God. Therefore, we know
this, that all our justification comes by the faith of Christ,
by His faithfulness to God. That's what we know. Number three. We know we have believed in Jesus
Christ. That's what he says next. He
said, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the
law, one, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed
in Jesus Christ. Later, Paul says this, because
you are sons of God, He has sent forth His Spirit into your hearts,
crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore, we are no more servants
but sons, and if sons, then heirs of God through Christ." Have
you believed on the Son of God? Because all of that doesn't make
any sense at all if you've not believed on the Son of God. None
of that has anything but intellectual value to you if you have not
believed on the Son of God. If you believe on the Son of
God, if you believe in Christ, It is because you were a son.
That's why you believe now. You who believe, I want you to
know the cause. The cause is you were a son.
God chose you. He chose you. And because you were a son, God
put you in that covenant. And through Christ, He has obtained
your justification. And He did this without your
help or approval. I'm so glad He didn't wait for
me. I never would have come. But He did it without my help
or approval. Believer in Christ, faith in
Christ is no mere act of the will or merit of the flesh. It is a gift of God. And if you have it, it is a gift
of God. It should be treasured. It should
be looked upon as such, a gift of grace. For by grace you are
saved through faith. Never apart from it. See, you
have no claim on justification if you do not believe. But if
you believe, know this, it was not your faith that justified
you. Rather, it was the faith of Christ
that justified you. Your faith is a gift of God,
not of works, lest any man should boast. Faith is not made by us, stirred
up by us, created by our will or determination, but we gladly
and freely receive Christ because we are taught of God. You see,
you know the first two things and you believe them because
you are taught of God. Taught of God. I want you, you should mark this
down, you should probably repeat it to yourself often. You know
everything. That's right. Is that not what
the Scripture tells us? You know all things and have
an unction of the Holy One. John tells us that. You know
all things. You know everything you need
to know. You know that you're not justified by the works of
law. You know you're justified by the faith and obedience and
blood of Christ. And you believe it. That's all
you need to know. And you know everything. We are taught of God, the gospel
of the perfect faith and obedience of Christ. And by faith we have
fled to Christ for refuge. Have you fled to Christ for refuge?
That's what it is to believe. It is to flee to the Son of God. Noah, when he heard of the flood,
the scripture says, with fear he prepared the ark. He prepared
the ark to the saving of His household and He was made an
heir of righteousness, how? By faith. By faith. He built that boat by faith.
In faith. And I tell you this, we flee
to the ark which is Christ by faith. And by faith, we don't
just examine the ark. We enter in the ark. We cleave
to it. We grab ahold of it with both
fists and say, I will not let you go. I cannot let you go. Faith holds on to Christ with
every fiber of our being because He is everything. And if we don't
have Him, we don't have anything. I must have Him. I must be found
in Him. Therefore, I count all things
as done, that I might win Christ and be found in Him, not having
my righteousness, which is by the law, but the righteousness
that is in Christ." It's of Christ. That's the only righteousness
I want, is that righteousness He earned. And I don't want anything
of myself. That is a person who believes
in Christ. That's one who knows the first
two things and cleaves to it, flees to it. You know, modern religion is
have faith. Have faith. Faith in what? I don't know. Just have faith.
Have faith in your faith. Have faith in yourself. Have
faith in this person, that person. If you don't get what you want,
it's because you don't have enough faith. No, we don't have faith in our
faith. No. No. You lean on that, it'll pierce
your hand. It won't hold you. Your faith is too weak. But my
faith is not in my faith, it's in His. I want you to look at
this. Look at how this is arranged,
and this is very important. Because, you know, every translation
but the King James has it wrong. Has it wrong. In this particular
passage, if you'll notice, he says the faith of Christ twice. And then he uses faith in Christ
once. This is the King James Version
that says, "...but by the faith of Jesus Christ." Even we have
believed in Jesus Christ that we might be justified by the
faith of Christ. In every other translation, those
words, "...of," are translated, "...in." And matter of fact,
they put them in italics because they know it's not in the original.
These are not in italics. These, by our translators here,
confirm that they are in the original text. And so it is by
the faith of Christ we are justified, not our faith in Christ that
justifies it. Your faith has no part in justification. It simply receives the justification. That's it. Faith receives what
has already been obtained. So then, believer, we know this,
our justification is totally His work. Totally His work and
all our faith is being a gift of God. All it is is that we
receive it and rest in it. We put all the weight of our
souls on the faith of Christ. On the faith of Christ. And lastly, let us be warned
not to move from this. not one inch to the right or
to the left of salvation completely and utterly by the faith of Jesus
Christ. Justification freely given, never
earned or merited. Paul says, But if, while we seek
to be justified by Christ, we ourselves are found sinners,
is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid! For if I
build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a
transgressor. For I, through the law, am dead
to the law, that I might live unto God. You see, Paul, he had
destroyed those things. He had put those things away
because the law no longer is valid. The law being a shadow
of things to come and Christ the body. I was looking at myself,
my shadow at the wall when I read that. I looked at the shadow
and I said, well, you know, it's got a kind of an outline on it,
but I can't make any details. And I look in the mirror and
I go, oh, there are the details. See, Christ is the reality of what
the law was just a shadow of. The law is done away with. It's
dead. I am dead through the law. Why?
Because I am crucified with Christ. That's why. Because the law has
no more demand over me. I have completely and utterly
in Christ satisfied every jot and tittle of that law. It's
done. It's done. It has no more merit. It can do nothing else. I admire
the law, it's beautiful. Nothing wrong with it. But it has no power over me.
It has no jurisdiction. Why? I've satisfied it. I've
done it. In Christ it's done. And I told
you at the beginning, remember, it's not how you view things,
it's how God views things that really matter. Now I know this,
you don't see that. You still see the sin. And rightly you should, the Scripture
tells us to. The Scripture says we should
confess our sins. And He is faithful and just to
forgive us our sins. Why? Why is He faithful and just
to forgive you? Because you've already been justified. In God's eyes, you are as holy
as His Son already. John tells us that, I believe
1 John 3. I can't remember the verse, but 1 John says, As He
is. How is He? Perfect. Without sin. As He is, so are
you now. Now, how are you going to embrace
that? Not by sight. Completely by faith,
I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ
liveth in me, and the life that I now live in this body, I live
by the faith, listen, of, there's that word again, of the Son of
God, who loved me, loved me, gave himself to me. Free from the law, O happy condition,
Jesus is bled and there is remission. Cursed by the law and bruised
by the fall, Christ hath redeemed us once. Forever. Forever. What then do we need to go back
under the law in any measure? Don't do it. Don't do it. I know you'll be tempted to.
Don't. Why, you are freely, without
a cause in you, justified. Look to Christ. I pray God blesses
you.
