Ephesians chapter 1. And this evening we'll be looking
at verses 1 through verse 14. We're going to divide these up
into the three different parts as I go along in the message.
The title of the message this evening is the Eternal Covenant
of Grace. The Eternal Covenant of grace. The apostle says here, Paul,
an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the will of God, to the saints
which are at Ephesus and to the faithful in Christ Jesus, grace
be to you and peace from God our Father and from the Lord
Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father
of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual
blessings, in heavenly places in Christ, according as He hath
chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should
be holy and without blame before Him, in love having predestinated
us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according
to the good pleasure of His will, according to the praise of the
glory of His grace wherein He hath made us accepted in the
Beloved. Now, if I were to ask you this
question, what is the eternal covenant of grace? What is this
eternal covenant that I'm going to be speaking about tonight?
Well, surely you who know the Word of God would answer this,
it is nothing less than the gospel of God. The covenant is nothing
less than the gospel of God. This covenant of God that we
read about here in Ephesians 1, is a covenant that was not
made after the fall, as some false prophets would have you
believe. Most religious men would have
you believe that the fall of Adam happened and took God by
surprise. And that God, in some reactionary
way, made a covenant, made a salvation for people, out of desperation. But this is no means a gospel.
That is not the gospel here presented by the Apostle Paul, nor in any
part of the Scripture. This gospel, this covenant of
God, was made, as this word declares, before the foundation of the
world. He said, according, in verse
4, as He hath chosen us in Him. before the foundation of the
world. So this gospel, this gospel that
I'm going to preach to you tonight is not a new gospel. It is a
very ancient gospel. It is as old as God. The gospel
is as old as God. because it began with God. I'll show you a couple of other
places. Go to Titus chapter 1. Titus chapter 1. And look at verse 1. It says, Paul,
a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to
the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth
which is after godliness, in hope of eternal life which God,
that cannot lie, promised." When did God promise eternal life? Before the world began. That's when God promised eternal
life. To who? The elect. He says, by
the faith of God's elect, according to the truth, which is after
Godliness, in hope, anticipation of eternal life that God promised
before the world began. Now go to 2 Timothy, a few pages
over to the left, 2 Timothy chapter 1 and verse 9. Who? That's God. The preceding
verse has the, it says, according to the power of God. Who hath
saved us and called us with an holy calling Not according to
works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was
given us in Christ Jesus. When? When was this grace of
God given us in Christ Jesus? Before the world began. Do you not see now that the gospel
is ancient? It's old. It is from eternity. It is a covenant of God and it
is a covenant of God made with God for man. Before the heavens were framed,
before the earth was fashioned and created, before the sun ever
shined through the darkness, before there were men or angels,
the blessed self-existent God dwelling in eternity all by Himself
in the Trinity of His holy persons, God covenanted with Himself to
save a people. This is the gospel. The beginning
of the gospel doesn't begin with you. It doesn't begin with me. It begins with God in eternity. That's where the gospel begins.
It begins before there was ever sin or there was ever a fall
of Satan or men. When God dwelt alone in the Trinity
of His persons, it was then that He covenanted to save a people. Now this is most clearly seen
in great detail in our text. Go back to Ephesians. I'm going
to break this apart for us and I'm going to show us through
this passage here. That salvation is a work of the
Holy Trinity of God. It is the work of God the Father,
it is the work of God the Son, and it is the work of God the
Holy Spirit, and it is their work alone. It is their work
alone. All salvation is none of the
works of man. That's what Paul said. He said,
not according to our works. This salvation is never according
to our works, but it is according to the covenant of God. Covenant
of God's grace. I want us to see this. If you
look from verses 3 down to verse 6, you will see that the work
of God the Father You'll see the work of God the Father. In
verses 7 through verse 12, you see the work of God the Son.
And in verses 13 and 14, you see the work of God the Holy
Spirit. God the Holy Spirit. Now it was
then in this eternal, eternity past, if I can use that term,
this is something that we as our minds really have a difficult,
I don't want you to think that I have a full grasp of what eternity
means. I'm a creature of time just like
you are. But I know that there was, if I could say it, a time
before time. And this is the time that I'm
talking, this is the time the Scripture has taken us to. It
is a time before time. It is a time when God was alone. When God dwelt by Himself. And it was then that God made
this covenant, a pact, with Himself regarding the salvation of men.
And each person is involved. Now then, I want us to see first
of all the part of God the Father in this covenant of grace. And
what is a covenant? A covenant is a compact. It's
an agreement. It's an agreement between two
parties. Most men think that this covenant
is an agreement with God to man, but truly, That is only through
a representative, as we'll see. So first of all, the part of
God the Father. The part of God the Father was this, to elect
a people, to choose a people for Himself. Look at that. Blessed
be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed
us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ,
according as He hath chosen us in Christ, in Him before the
foundation of the world. So the part of God the Father
in this covenant was to choose a people, a people who should
come from a fallen race. The Father chose them not based
on anything in them, not based on anything they could do or
would do for Him. God chose them, the Father chose
these elect people out of His own sovereign free grace. He
chose them out of His immutable, unchangeable love. Now the Apostle Paul, desiring
for us to know God, to know the person of God, he declares Him
this way. He says, God our Father. Now, in the Old Testament, God
is seen in many different ways. He's seen as God Almighty. He is seen as the God of Abraham,
the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. But here, in the New
Testament, He is given a title that is very precious. It is
the title of Father. Father. The apostle desires to show us
the blessed God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is
also our Father. Now, in this old eternity, when
the Father, Son, and Spirit dwelt alone, it was then the Father
set His love on a chosen people to save them. And these are terms
Elect. Elect. According as He had chosen
us in Him before the foundation of the world. The Apostle Peter,
in his epistle, he says to the elect brethren. What does that
mean, elect? It just simply means chosen.
God chose. God made a distinct choice. And He chose some of Adam's fallen
race that He would save. And listen, He chose them before
the foundation of the world. And listen what He chose them
to. That they should be holy and without blame. This is the
purpose of His covenant. If the Father were to write down
a covenant, He would set down names. And He has. He has set
down the names of all those He has chosen. all those He has
loved, and He has sworn in this covenant that they all should
be holy, that they should be without blame, that they should
be presented before Him, that they should be adopted children,
He says, in love, having predestinated them, predestinated us unto the adoption
of children by Jesus Christ to Himself. He has chosen us to
be His children, so by faith, therefore, we look to God the
Father in His covenant promise. And God says, I swear. Scripture tells us that God,
when He could swear by none higher, swore by Himself. In other words,
God put His hand on His own heart, on His own soul, and said, I
swear that all those I have chosen will be saved. I swear. I see the Father by faith, swear
by Himself, I have chosen and loved a people, and they will
be my elect people, and they will be made holy, and they will
appear before me without blame or sin. I will forgive them,
I will pardon them, they will be my adopted children, and I
will be their father. The Father swears that all He
has predestinated and loved, that they shall be reconciled,
forgiven, and pardoned, even by one means, by Jesus Christ
His Son. Go over to Jeremiah. Flip over
to the Old Testament. And I want you to see, is this
not exactly the same? Jeremiah. Jeremiah chapter 31. Look at verse 3. The Lord hath appeared of old
unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with a what? An everlasting love. Therefore with loving kindness
have I drawn thee now go to verse 33 These that he loves listen
what he says to them He said but this shall be the covenant
That I will make with the house of Israel after those days saith
the Lord I will put my law within their inward parts and write
it on their hearts and and will be their God, and they shall
be what? My people. Look at verse 38. Behold, the
days come, saith the Lord, that the city shall be built to the
Lord from the tower of Haniel unto the gate of the corner.
Measuring the line shall go forth over against it, and the heel
of Garbud shall compass Goreth. and the whole valley of dead
bodies, and of the, I'm sorry, go back to 37. Thus saith the
Lord, I'm sorry, I've lost my place,
forgive me. Let's read verse 35. Thus saith
the Lord, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinance
of the moon and the stars by night, that which divideth the
sea, and the waves thereof roar, and the Lord of hosts is his
name. If those ordinances depart from me, saith the Lord, then
the seed of Israel shall cease from being a nation before me. What God is saying here is if
the sun and moon ever disobey me, that's when my people shall
perish from me. That's when my people, whom I
called by my name, who shall be my people and I shall be their
God. See, the Lord has chosen a people.
He has covenanted with himself to choose a people And they shall
be His people, and He shall be their God. Now, second of all,
go back to your text and see the part of the Son in this covenant
of grace. Verse 7. In whom we have redemption through
His blood, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches
of His grace. Therefore, the Son of God has
His part in this eternal covenant. being one in will with the Father
in power and purpose, the Son of God in this eternal covenant
agreed to be the Savior of all of the elect of the Father. You see, the Father chose the
elect in this covenant and gave them to His Son. He gave them
to the Son. Look at that in verse 3. You can see it in verse 3. who
hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places,
where? In Christ. According as He hath chosen us,
where? In Christ, before the foundation
of the world, having predestinated us in adoption by Jesus Christ. So all that the Father chose
He gave to the Son, and the Son willingly took them. He willingly
took them to be their representative. Now, consider the words of our
text, that all spiritual blessings come to us in and through Jesus
Christ, even because the Father hath chosen us in Him. So loved
and precious were the elect of the Father that they were put
into union with His beloved Son, Jesus. And see that in this covenant
of grace that all the elect were accepted of God from eternity. Look at verse 6. To the praise
of the glory of His grace wherein He hath made us accepted. Where? In the Beloved. In the Beloved. This is surely what Paul meant
in verse 12 when he talks about God trusting in Christ. He says
that we should be to the praise of His glory who first trusted
Christ. Who first believed on Christ?
It was God. It was the Father. The Father
trusted Christ with all of His beloved elect people. He gave
them to Him. And the Son, in love for them,
willingly accepted full responsibility for their salvation. You see, the Father, knowing
the condition and nature into which His elect children should
be born, knowing that they were to be of Adam's fallen race, He gave them to the only One
who could save them. It was His holy Son. Therefore, God purposed in eternity,
in this eternal covenant, how these elect should be who are
sinners by birth, how they should be redeemed, reconciled, and
justified. Now listen, God is nothing like
us. You and I can forgive on a whim,
can't we? Somebody offend us, we can forgive
them without payment. Why? Because we ourselves are
sinners. God is nothing like us. God is
holy and just. And listen, God can't forgive
arbitrarily. In other words, God's justice
must be satisfied. It must be satisfied. The only way that mercy and truth
and righteousness and peace could meet together is in the Son,
Jesus Christ. Consider your depravity. Consider what God says about
man by nature. God says this in Romans 3, He
said, There is none righteous, no, not one. There is none that understandeth. There is none that seeketh after
God. There is none that doeth good,
no, not one. That's what God says of us all
by nature. Isaiah says that all our righteousnesses
are as bloody rags in the eyes of God. Well, how then should the elect
be made holy? Isn't that what God predestined
them to be? Holy? He said that they should be made
holy. That's the will of God. How should they be made holy? How should God's justice, who
is of purer eyes than to behold evil, how shall He make us who
are full of sin holy? Listen, only by the obedience
of a representative man. That's how. This is how God purposed
to save sinners. Only by a representative. And that one representative is
Jesus Christ. That's the only representative
man. Behold the manifold wisdom of God to give us to Christ,
for the Son to take full responsibility for our salvations, in verse
7, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, hear the words of
the blessed eternal Son in the covenant who swore, Father, I
swear, as thou has given me these people, I swear I will save them. I swear that I will give my life
for them. The Son swore that he would become
a babe. that he would grow to be a man,
and that from the womb he would honor and magnify the law of
God as their representative. Behold the Father. Behold, Father, he says, I swear
by my own glory that I will come to be thy servant and do thy
will. Where do you find that, preacher?
Go to Hebrews chapter 10. Read it for yourself. Hebrews
chapter 10. This is the covenant promise
of the Son right here. He says in verse 7, Then said I, this is Christ,
Lo, I come. In the volume of the book it
is written of me to do thy will, O God. Jesus Christ came in the
flesh to do what? To do the will of God. What is the will of God? That
He should save His people from their sins. That's what Matthew
said in Matthew chapter 1 and verse 21. He said this, Thou
shalt call His name Jesus, for He shall save His people from
their sins. Jesus came into this world to
do one thing. That is to save. To save. Jesus Christ came to save because
sacrifice and offering and burnt offering thou wouldest not. Neither
had pleasure therein which were offered by the law. In other
words, God doesn't have any pleasure in what you do. Do you hear that? God doesn't have any pleasure
in what you do. And you can sacrifice, you can
be as good as you want to be, you can be as sincere as you
want to be in your religion. But listen, if that's what you're
basing your eternal hope on, then you are lost and without
hope. Because God is only pleased with one man, Jesus Christ, and
Him alone. The Father said, when that voice
came from heaven, He said, this is My beloved Son. in whom I
am well pleased. God is only well pleased with
Christ. And if I'm ever to please God,
it is because He's my representative man. I can only please God through
Him. That's what He came to do, is
please God, because I couldn't. Then he said, Lo, I come to do
thy will, O God. He taketh away the first to establish
the second. By the witch will we are sanctified
through the offering of the body of Christ once for all. By the witch will. By whose will?
God's will. God's will. The reason Christ
came down to be a man is because God willed it so. Because Christ
agreed to it. And He came down to be a representative,
to save His people. Therefore, Jesus, our surety,
says, I have come in the flesh to restore that which I did not
take away. Behold, in Jesus Christ there
was no sin, and all He did in the flesh, He pleased God. Yet, in order to fulfill this
covenant of grace, in order to fulfill His promise, Jesus must
have been crucified. He must have suffered the full
measure of the wrath of God for the sins of His elect. The Scripture plainly bears this
out. You remember when He was walking
with those disciples on the road to Emmaus, and they were confused. They didn't understand why Jesus
had to die. They said, we thought He was
the Christ. We thought. And then they crucified Him.
They killed Him. He's dead. He's buried. We don't know what
to do. And Jesus walking with them,
He said, don't you know that Christ ought to have suffered
these things? And then beginning at Moses and
all the prophets, He expounded unto them all the Scriptures
concerning Himself. Friends, this book, this book
from cover to cover is all about Christ. If you're looking for anything
else in this book, you missed the whole point of the book.
He said in the volume of the book it's written of me. He came to fulfill this covenant
by being made sin for us, by being made a curse for us. He was willing out of love to
be made sin, made an offering for sin, and therefore God the
Father imputed the sins, charged the sins of His elect to His
own Son who willingly took them. He took the sins of His elect
people on His own self, and out of that God poured all the vengeance
of hell and wrath upon the head of His only begotten Son, And after all of the vengeance
of God was satisfied, Jesus cried with a loud voice, said, it is
finished. What's finished? What's finished?
The covenant! The covenant of grace! The redemption
price has been paid. Jesus testifying of this covenant. that was forever purposed from
eternity now testifies that it's accomplished. What Jesus swore
to do in eternity, He came in time and did it. He accomplished
it. Therefore God, testifying of
His complete success, the redemption of the elect, He raised Him from
the dead and is now ascended into the very heavens, seated
on the right hand of God. That's where Christ is now. He
is victorious. You see, I'm preaching to you
Christ because Christ is successful. If Christ wasn't successful,
I shouldn't be here and neither should you. But He is. He is successful, how do I know?
He's risen from the dead. God testified of it. Go back to your text and look
at this and see this. Look in verse 11, in whom, still
speaking of Christ, in whom we've obtained uninheritance. being predestinated according
to the purpose of Him who worketh all things after the counsel
of His own will. Behold the surety of this gospel,
which was made by God in eternity, which was ratified by the blood
of the Son, and now that Jesus has obtained our righteousness
and salvation, He's obtained our inheritance. Behold now He
has sent His Spirit to do the work of this covenant. His work
of the covenant, the work of the Holy Spirit. Now the work
of the Father, what was that? To choose a people. What was
the work of the Son? The work of the Son was to come
and to die in the stead of those people. And now then, listen,
here's the work of the Holy Spirit. Verse 13. in whom, talking about Christ,
in whom you also trusted, after that you heard the word of truth,
the gospel of your salvation, in whom also after that you believed
you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, which is the
earnest, that word earnest means down payment, which is the down
payment of our inheritance. until the redemption of the purchased
possession unto the praise of His glory." Now, the elect of God, all those
chosen of the fathers, I've told you, they were not born saved.
They were not born saved. Matter of fact, they were all
born depraved. Every one of the elect were no
different were no different in their birth and nature than any
other man. Matter of fact, you can read
that in chapter 2. Paul goes on to tell you that. He said
you were dead in trespasses and sin. You walked according to
the course of this world. You walked according to the prince
of the power of the air, even as the children of disobedience. We all had our conversation in
this. Yet Jesus promised. He promised
this, that all that the Father gave Him should come to Him. This is the promise. This is
the hope of any man here. This is the hope of any son of
Adam. Listen. That Jesus Christ has
come to save His people from their sins. If there's any hope,
this is it. Go to John chapter 6. Read his
words with me. Read Jesus' words. John chapter
6 and verse 37. Jesus said, all that the Father
giveth me shall come to me. And Him that cometh to me I will
in no wise cast out, because I came down from heaven not to
do mine own will, but the will of Him that sent me. And this
is the Father's will that sent me. that of all which he hath
given me, I should lose nothing, but raise it up again at the
last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that everyone
which seeth the Son and believeth on him may have everlasting life,
and I will raise him up at the last day." Now, why will Christ never cast
out one who comes to Him. Because that's the will of the
Father. That He embrace everyone that comes to Him. Everyone that
comes to Him in faith, believing on Him. He will embrace Him because
that is the will of the Father. And why is it that men come to
Him? How is it that you and I are
able to come to Him? Because the Father hath chosen
us to come to Him. It was the will of the Father
that I come. That's why I came. Look what
he says in verse 44. No man can come to me. Is that
not the most simple thing that you ever heard? You don't have
to be a scholar. There's no scholarship here.
No man can. Can has to do with what? Ability.
No man can come to Me. Except what? The Father which
has sent Me, draw him. Do you not see that man by nature
is dead? Man by nature cannot come to
Christ. And so how is it then that men
come? The Father, by the Holy Spirit,
draws them. That's how they come. Behold, friends, this is no shaky
agreement, but this is rather a rock-solid covenant promise
that God gave who cannot lie. All that were given to Christ,
all that Christ redeemed shall come to Him. How? By the Holy
Spirit. You see, this is the work of
the Holy Spirit in the covenant. The work of the Holy Spirit then
is to come and give life to dead sinners. That's what He does. That's His purpose. That's the
purpose of the Holy Spirit. To come and quicken the dead
to life. Jesus says this in John chapter
6 John chapter 3 He says except a man be born of water and the
Spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of God That which is born of
flesh is flesh And that which is born of spirit is spirit Marvel
not I said you must be born again The wind bloweth where it listeth.
You can hear the sound thereof, but you can't tell where it's
coming and whether it's going. So is everyone that is born of..."
Who? The Spirit. This is what the
Spirit does. "...hear then the covenant of
the Holy Spirit from eternity, saying, I swear by myself, that
all the Father hath chosen, all the Son hath redeemed, I will
come and give them a new nature, I will raise them from the dead,
I will quicken them to faith, and they will come to Christ
alone. I will convince them of their
sin. I will expose their nakedness and utter hopelessness to save
themselves. Behold, I will hedge them up
with thorns so that none of their works or religion can give them
any comfort. I will make all their earthly
treasures and pleasures to be ashes in their mouth. And then
I will quicken them through the means of the preaching of the
gospel that they should believe to the saving of their souls,
I will seal them for heaven and live in them and keep them until
the purchased possession is gathered safe. This is the work of the
Holy Spirit. Behold then the covenant of eternal
grace and the gospel of God leaves nothing to chance. God does not leave any part of
salvation for the elect to make up or add to this salvation. The Father purposed us, the Son purchased us, and the
Spirit applies this and seals our hearts and lives in us until
we are presented before God wholly. And lastly, let me ask you this,
who then are the objects of this covenant? I've told you the covenant
of God, God the Father chose, God the Son redeems, God the
Holy Spirit calls, who? I've told you several times the
elect. Well, who are they? Who are the
elect? These elect are no different
than any of Adam's race, yet they do not include all of Adam's
race. The elect are not all men without
exception. We can clearly see this because
many continue in their sin. Many will perish in their sins. There are many men who continually
pursue sin and will not heed the call of the gospel. So many
have and do tread underfoot the blood of the Son of God as a
common thing, and they do always resist the Holy Ghost. For we know that if they were
objects of this covenant of grace, they surely would repent. If
they were objects of the covenant of God's grace, they would be
washed in the blood of the Son and be redeemed. But even because their names
were not written in the Lamb's look of life before the foundation
of the world, even those will never come. Who will never come and believe
on Christ? Those who are not in this covenant. This surely is offensive to the
natural man, that the eternal covenant of God is only for the
elect and for no one else. Behold then, if you are offended
at this, you are offended even at the words of the Lord Jesus
Christ. John 17. Look at what he says
in John 17, verse 9. Jesus said, I pray for them. Who are them? Verse 2, those
that he's given to Christ. He said, I pray for them. Listen,
I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast
given me. I pray for them, for they are
thine. They belong to God. Jesus prayed. Not for all men
without exception, but prayed only for those the Father gave
Him. And it was only for them that
He died. And these chosen are, listen,
they are as many as the Lord our God shall call. Charles Spurgeon was preaching
this covenant of God's grace, and he was asked by a man, he
said, Sir, if God has an elect people and Christ has redeemed
them, and the Spirit will call them and save them, then why
do you preach? He said, Sir, if you would kindly
point out the elect to me, I'll only preach to them. I don't
know who they are. That's not my business. My business
is to preach the gospel, to declare, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ,
and thou shalt be saved. That's the gospel. I tell that,
I declare that to everyone. You know who's going to hear
it? Only the elect. Only the redeemed. Only those
that are called by the Holy Spirit. Only they'll do it. Only these elect. Acts 13 and
verse 48 says, as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
You know who's going to believe? As many as were ordained to eternal
life. That's who's going to believe. Only those and no more. And not
only not one of them shall miss it. I like that. I'm thankful
for that. You know that John, when he saw that vision in heaven,
he saw 24 elders. You know how many thrones he
saw? 24. Not one less and not one more. Exactly the right amount. God will save his elect people. And not one of them shall miss
it. All of them shall have an interest in the covenant of grace,
even because the praise and glory of God's grace is at stake. O
sinner, let me ask you, do you have an interest in this eternal
covenant? Are you such a sinner as who
can by no means save themselves? Listen, that's who Jesus came
to save. This is why we needed an eternal
covenant, because we could by no means save ourselves. We needed God to do the work
completely. Are you such a sinner? Then this
is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation. Jesus Christ
came into the world to save who? Sinners. He came to save sinners. And
I'll tell you, the elect are sinners. And you know what? They know it. I know it. I know who I am. I am the sinner. The elect are drawn to Christ
not as a choice, but we are drawn to Christ as one who is fleeing
for our very lives. If a man were starving to death,
do you suppose if you offered him a piece of bread, it would
be a choice? No. We come to him because there
is no one else to save our souls. Remember when the apostles were
offended. Some of the disciples of Jesus
was offended because of election, because of what I just preached
to you. And he said, will you go away also? And they said,
Lord, to whom shall we go? We got no place else to go. Now
I may not understand fully that covenant you're talking about,
but you're it. You're all my hope. You're all
my life. You know what? A person who comes
to God by like that, you are the elect of God. You are. You are. And this covenant of
grace was for you. It was for you. We, who are the elect, are fully,
completely sold out and laid up on Jesus Christ alone. That's
who we are. Therefore, we who are saved by
the grace of God, we were saved because we were chosen. We were
saved because we were redeemed. And I tell you, we're saved because
we were called and quickened by the Spirit. And I'll tell
you, I'm going to continue to believe only because the Spirit
of God keeps me. Therefore, we praise and glorify
God the Father. We praise and glorify God the
Son. And we praise and glorify God
the Holy Spirit. For our salvation is completely
and absolutely the work of God. From beginning to end. From eternity to eternity. And everyone in this covenant,
you are absolutely safe from all harm. Who shall separate us from the
love of God that is in Christ Jesus? Nobody and nothing. all because salvation is a covenant
of God, a covenant of grace. May God open your heart to see that and to see if you have an interest
in it. I do. I do. Do you? I pray that God would give you
such a grace. Let's stand. We'll be dismissed in prayer.
