Part of my message is, but ye
see me. But ye see me. Our children have a lot of activities.
We're becoming a part of this community. We're getting to be
known. We're starting to bump into people around them. The
children are in a lot of activities and there's no care in this part
of the world if there's something going on on a Wednesday or if
there's something going on on a Sunday. I understand that Wednesdays
are going away. There's a lot of faithful pulpits
in this nation and around this world that I know of. They're
stopping that. That's a shame, isn't it? But
that's going away. And so man doesn't have a reverence.
If we don't have a reverence for God, why should man? If I
don't have a reverence for what God says, I ain't talking about
old brother Pinky. If I don't have a reference for
what God says, why should anybody else? Why would my household? Why would you? And then on Sundays,
that's a, that's a sporting day of nothing but activities and
they don't see why it's important. Do we see why it's important?
Do I see why it's important? The world don't see, but maybe
one, maybe two, maybe three, maybe four, but ye see, but ye
see Him, ye see Christ. Look here in verse 19, John 14,
verse nine. The world doesn't see why Sundays
are important. The world doesn't see why midweek
service is important. But we do, don't we? Verse 19,
yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more. They physically
see me now, they ain't gonna see me no more. But ye see me,
because I live, ye shall live also. At that day, when you live,
whatever day it may be, ye shall know that I am in my Father,
and ye in me, and I in you. He that hath my commandments
and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me. And he that loveth
me shall be loved of my Father and I will love him and will
manifest myself to him. Have we seen Christ? By nature, no. People don't come
in this world seeing Christ. By nature, we hate him. By nature,
we're against him. What's the greatest of all the
commandments? Everything's summed up in love, isn't it? That's
keeping the law, loving the Father, loving your brethren. Well, what's
the opposite of that? Not keeping the law. Well, what's
the opposite of love? Hate. We hated God. We hated his people. We hated
his law. Well, we just loved it a little bit less back before
we came to a better doctrine. God didn't say that. No, Jacob
said, well, he loved Leah less. God said, that's what Jacob said,
that's what a sinner said. God said he hated Leah. Is that
right? It's one or the other. Have we seen Christ by nature?
No, we have not. Without the Holy Ghost coming
to us through the preaching of the truth and revealing Christ
to us, we have not seen him. We haven't seen him. We've heard
some stuff about him. We might've been to the right church, but
unless God's done a heart work, it ain't happened. We haven't
seen him. So it ain't important to us. You can take it or leave
it. Our Lord is making a very clear
and plain distinction here in this text. The world physically
has seen me, but soon they won't even have that. But you, you
see the difference? There's the world and there's
those he's speaking to. There's a world, there's his people.
But you, you see me. And that means you see me now,
right now. And you're going to see me. You see me right now. What about yesterday? I ain't
live yesterday. I'm alive right now. You heard me say it before?
I mean it. We're live right now. We see
him right now. What about tomorrow? Well, he'll
handle that too. If he handles it today, he'll
handle it tomorrow. He said, you see me now and in the future.
And when I go to the father, you will know for sure that I'm
in the father because he's ascended it. And we will know for sure
that you are in me. That's why he's telling his people
and that I am in you. Why? Because you'll still see
me. The world sees me physically
and then they don't see me. And you've seen me physically
now, but you've seen me spiritually. You have spiritual eyes and that
will not be taken away from you. It ain't going to go anywhere.
I'll be stirred up in your pure minds. If the Lord doesn't work
in us, he's going to occupy. He's going to take up real estate
in our minds because he's took up real estate in our hearts.
And that affects everything. What am I going to wear out in
public? Do I, I can wear anything I want. Yeah, well, just cause
something's legal don't mean it's expedient. It's what Paul
said, wasn't it? Because that brings reproach on the gospel.
Somebody might not want to come to church with me. How am I going
to address somebody with my mouth? It affects everything. If he's
bought that real estate, if he's took up shop, he's occupied like
an opposing force that's won a victory. He's occupied his
people because he abounded towards them. We'll change everything. He'll take up all of our thoughts
because he's took up our heart. The world does not see him as the
great I am. And I pity him. They will not
see him as Lord, as the great I am until it's too late. Until
it's too late. The world is blind by nature.
Before God saved us, I was blind. That's easy to hear it. Let's
all close our eyes and I'll look at you. Before God saved you,
you were spiritually blind. You didn't know Christ. You remember
that? Turn over to John chapter 9.
John 9. Do you remember being spiritually
blind? Not dim, not having a couple
of cataracts, not nearsighted, not farsighted, but I mean flat
blind. You might have memorized a lot
of scriptures, but you was clean blind. You didn't see God. A regenerated child of God will
tell you, I was stone cold blind. I could tell you every book of
the Bible. I could tell you all the old stories. I could argue
doctrine with you. And I didn't see Christ. I saw
theology, but I didn't see Theos. I didn't see God. I didn't have
eyes to see. And then one day God saved me.
He gave me eyes. Look here in John 9. He healed
that blind man. Look down to verse 35. That blind
man and his friends didn't like what he had to say, so they took
him to the religious folks, and the religious folks sure didn't
like what he had to say, so they kicked him out. They said, you
can't be part of our church no more. Verse 35, John 9, 35. Jesus heard that they had cast
him out, and when he had found him, he said to him, dost thou
believe on the Son of God? And the answer said, who is he,
Lord, that I might believe on him? I've only seen about 72
people ever. I've only been seeing him for
about three hours. I don't even know what he looks like. I don't know anybody. And Jesus
said unto him, thou hast both seen him, and it's he that talketh
with thee. Before you had, you knew what
a butterfly was, and that's a human, and that's a beard, and that's
what a car looks like. You saw me then. Because he said, he
put that paste on, he said, now go wash in the pool of Siloam.
And he did it. Why? Because he had sight. He said,
you've seen me and I'm talking to you. Physically, I'm the one
speaking to you right now. And he said, Lord, I believe. Verse 38. And he worshiped him. And Jesus said, for judgment
I am come into this world that they which see not might see,
and that they which see might be made blind. And some of the
Pharisees which were with him heard these words and they said
to him, are we blind also? Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. I have
a PhD. I have a master's. I'm a theologian. I'm not a commoner. I'm not some
country bumpkin. Are you saying I'm blind? I've been going to
church all my life. Mommy and daddy saved, and grandma
saved, and uncle saved, and everybody saved. What do you mean I'm blind?
I ain't blind. Are you saying we're blind? And
Jesus said unto them, if you were blind, what I'm talking
about, look at verse 41, you should have no sin. Woo, buddy. I know some people that never
was blind. They just happened to find the gospel. The gospel
didn't find them. I know some people that never
was at war, and somehow they have some peace that ain't no
peace at all. He said, if you were blind, you'd have no sin.
But now you say we see, therefore your sin remaineth. There were those who had physically
heard the Lord. Could you imagine that? They
heard him. They heard him stand up and preach.
A whole bunch of people did. I ought not get put off when people don't
listen to me. God came and preached to people
and he wasn't pleased to bless them. But they physically hurt
him, but not with the ear of faith. There were those that
saw the Lord Jesus Christ, God Almighty, the triune God, walk
this earth in a body, but they never seen him as he is. They
never seen him as Lord. There were those men that even
laid hands on him. Could you imagine? They touched
him, not just the hem of his garment, they stripped him and
they put a robe on him and they put a crown on him and they plucked
his beard out and smacked him and spit on him. But they never
clung to the savior. They never clung to him. There
were those that knew Christ was the son of God. They knew he was the king of
kings. They knew he was the holy one of Israel, but they never
bowed to him in adoration. They bowed because they had to.
Gritting their teeth. Was that us? They never bowed
to him in love. They never bowed to him in willful
submission. That's what them demons said. They said, behold,
they cried out saying, what have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou
son of God? You come to torment us before
time? They knew about judgment, didn't they? Overlook forces.
They said, let us alone. What are we to do with thee,
Jesus of Nazareth? Art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who
thou art, the holy one of God. Some know and profess that men
are sent of God. They'll say, that's one of God's
preachers. I've heard that. People say, that man's preaching
the gospel. That man's preaching the truth. They're God's pastors,
but they're never their pastor. They never have one. That's what
we read in Acts 19, that evil spirit answered, said, I know
Jesus, I know him, Paul, I know, but who are you? The scriptures
are very clear and plain, ain't they? About knowing a person. He that believeth on the Son
hath Means it ain't going away. Hath everlasting life, and he
that believeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of
God abideth on him. Go into all the world, preach the gospel
to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized,
that's the confession of the believing faith that's been given,
shall be saved. But he that believeth not shall
be damned. Scripture's plain. I want to warn people, this earth
couldn't be around much longer. It couldn't be. People's going
to meet a holy God. This is serious business. I want
to tell people, bow to him, know who he is, search the scripture,
ask the Lord to reveal Christ to you. It's needful. He's the one thing needful. How
can we ever receive these things? How can anybody ever have new
eyes or new ears or a new mind that reacts from a new heart?
How can we ever have these things? The Lord told Nicodemus plainly,
didn't he? One of them uppity-ups. Man, he was high-ranking, wasn't
he? Scholar. He said, except a man be born
again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. I see the kingdom of
God. I'm looking at you. I ain't a fool. I know I'm married
to her. I figure I know who my family is. He said, you ain't
going to see it. Let the man be born again. He
said, except a man be born of water and of the spirit. The Word's
gonna have to be preached, and God the Spirit's gonna have to
bless it. He cannot enter into the kingdom of God. And he said,
marvel not, I said, you gotta be born again. Don't you worry
about that. Because the wind bloweth where it listeth. And
you hear some sounds, but you don't know where it come from.
And you can't tell where it cometh or where it goes. I didn't bottle
this and contain it and put it up something special, did I?
No, we don't know. And all of a sudden, it'll come
to us, won't it? Where did it? He said, seek me while I may
be found. I didn't know I was looking. You found me! Now we latch on, don't we? He's
the three in one. Lord Ascombe said, whose men
say that I am? They said a bunch of good answers. Oh, you're a
prophet, and you're one of the men of old, and you're so much
reincarnated, you're real important. And he said, who do you say that
I am? Peter said, thou art the Christ, the son of the living
God. And he said, blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh
and blood hath not revealed this. But my father, which is in heaven,
Christ has to reveal Christ, the Holy Spirit has to reveal
Christ, and the Father has to reveal Christ. Which one? Yes. They work together, don't they?
True humility to understand our blindness. It's not fake. True
humility to say, we were nothing. I didn't know nothing, and I
don't deserve anything, and God saved sinners of whom I'm chief.
Not the fake stuff, the real stuff. That's the essence of
the new spirit that's given. When the Lord gives life in somebody,
we're born again. Job was given eyes to see. We
see that. We see things as they are. We
see mankind as they are. We see God, in part, as he is. We see a holy God, an all-powerful
God, don't we? Job knew that. That's an old
book. Always wanted a Bible, isn't
it? He said, I've heard of thee by the hearing of the ears. I
sat in 10,000 good gospel messages under the right man. But now
my eye seeth. They see if that means he sees
him now and he's will keep seeing him. Okay. That's words of assurance. That's a, that's an ending of
a word to give us assurance. He said, I've heard, boy, I see
you now. You gave me eyes. He said, wherefore I bore myself.
I repent and dust and ashes. This world in our day enjoys
the privileges of the Lord for now. This whole world has easy
access, no matter what tribe you are out in the Congo or wherever.
They have access to his word, but they don't search the scriptures
looking for him. They search the scriptures thinking
they might have life. I can do this and stop cussing
and quit drinking and chewing tobacco and running with women
that do. They don't look for him. They have his preachers
and they count them as unlearned and unprofitable because they
can teach themselves. The preaching of the gospel is
just a nice little add-on to all the things they're teaching
themselves at home. They have his creation, all of
his powers on display, and they consider it rude, and they consider
it cruel, and they consider it vulgar at best. Tornadoes and
tsunamis, look what the Lord did. They curse him. They have God's perfect providence.
He orders and rules all things. We have that, don't we? Do we
see with eyes of God's perfect providence of who he is, a sovereign
God? And they murmur and curse it
continually. Do we? Have we? Have we disregarded
those things? Have we took it lightly? Eh,
I got something better to do. Get a good nap in or something.
Are those things an advantage to the carnal world? Am I just
being picky? Am I just getting points to having
a message? There absolutely are an advantage to the carnal world.
Is the carnal world blessed by God saving some people and them
walking up and down these streets and going to basketball games?
They absolutely are. Paul said, it's what advantage
then hath the Jew? Because they had all that Old Testament stuff,
didn't they? They had the tabernacle and the tops and the pictures
and the ceremonies and the feasts and all these things. What advantage
do they have? Is there profit in circumcision? He said, much
every way. Absolutely there's profit in
it. Because unto them were committed the oracles of God, the utterance
of God, the word of God. For what if some did not believe?
Shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
God forbid. God forbid. Yea, let God be true
and every man a liar. We say it often, let God be true
to everyone. What's the context of that? Having all these blessings,
one after another, and just not giving a hoobie. That was me. What an advantage. And at the same time, what a
warning to those that speak on behalf of the holy God of the
universe. Some of them wear dresses, some of them wear suits, some
of them wear shorts and flip flops, or no shirt at all. and
they get up and they say they're preachers. They have the word of God in
their hand. What did Peter say? 1 Peter 4, 11. If any man speak,
they get up to preach, let him speak as the oracles of God.
You think I didn't sit down and study? Somebody might believe
me, man. I better be ready. Better make
sure, I was watching the world's richest man debate a fella, and
that fella just took him, it goes on embarrassing. You think
he got where he was by being a fool? No, he's brilliant. And I told Kim, I said, if I
ever had to debate that man, I said, I'll just say what God
said, because I know I can't be wrong. Make sure I got a good
handle on it too. What advantages does a believer
have? The world's blessed by us being here. It rains on the
just and the unjust. They get groceries. They get
broccoli. Don't they? They get cows. What
advantage does a believer have? Look here in John 14, verse 19
again. The Lord said, get a little while.
John 14, 19. Get a little while. It won't
be long. It won't be long now either. Get a little while, the
world seeth me no more, but ye see me. We've seen the Son of
God. If the Lord's given us eyes to
see, if he's worked in our hearts, we've seen the Son of God, and
that means we've seen the Father. That's the context of what's
going on in John 14. If you've seen me, you've seen
the Father. When these poor apostles ask just horrible questions,
but we're thankful because we can learn from them. If we've
seen the Son, we've seen the Father. This is worded in the
present tense, in the perfect tense. It will not be taken away. We've seen the son, we've seen
the father because of the Holy Ghost and that will not be taken
away. The gifts and calling of God
are without repentance. He's given us eyes to see and
ears to hear and a heart that believes and wants to know more
of him. That's going to remain. It don't feel like it. It don't
matter what it feels like. He said so. Blessed are the eyes
which see these things that ye see. He said in Luke 10. We're
blessed. We ought to thank him. We really
ought to build our lives around the gospel and worship his son
and thank him for it. We're blessed because we see
the things we see. He said, I tell you, many prophets and kings
have desired to see those things which you see and have not seen
them. And they desire to hear the things which ye hear and
have not heard them. That makes us different. We're
a peculiar people, ain't we? There are times when I think,
man, I'd have loved to seen the Lord on this earth. If I can
just, now I don't want to live back then, but if I can just
take a time machine for a couple of days and I could go, I'd have
just loved to hear what his voice sounded like. You ever, you ever
love somebody and you ain't been around them for a long time?
Bob used to deployed a bunch. I talked to Kimberly on the phone
some, and boy, I just couldn't wait to hear her voice. And then
I wanted to see her. I had pictures. I had types,
right? Just like we do. I want to see
him. I wanted to see the Lord. I know he wasn't handsome. Heretics
all around this world has this beautiful fellow with perfectly
straight teeth and flowing hair and a beautiful masculine jawline.
He was ugly. There wasn't nothing about him
that would have attracted us to hustle. The scriptures say
so. I wonder how tall he was. I wonder about those things,
don't I? We have eyes of faith, better than that. Peter saw him
glorified on the Mount of Truths figuration. He said, we got something
better than that. Woo. We have eyes of faith to see
him in his word. Those eyes of faith go hand in
hand with eternal life. Did you know that? Yet a little
while, the world seeth me no more, but you see me. Because
I live, ye shall live also. He's the resurrection. Job knew
that too. Do you know that? He said, for
I know that my Redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand in the
latter day upon the earth, and that though after my skin worms
destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God, whom I
shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold, and not another. I ain't gonna see nobody else.
Well, I'm gonna die and go to glory so I can see Grandma. That
ain't glory. You're going somewhere else. Our fellow had a funeral one
time, he said, we all hope he ain't what we know he is. Because he lives, he lives, I
live and I shall live because he's salvation. There was a man
in Jerusalem named Simeon, wasn't there? He was devout and he was
just waiting for Israel, the consolation of Israel, and the
Holy Ghost was upon him. The Holy Ghost came to him, abode
in him. He's a child of God. And it was revealed to him by
the Holy Ghost that before he died, he was going to see the
Lord's Christ. Job was looking for him. Simeon
was there when he came. He's gonna physically see him.
We see him in typing pictures and we look for him again, don't
we? But Simeon's gonna see him. The Holy Spirit came to him and
gave him a vision and said, you're gonna see the Lord's Christ before
you die. And then the parents came into the temple to observe
God's law, bringing the turtle doves, didn't they? And they
handed him over to Simeon and Simeon hailed him. That's unimaginable. Hailed the Almighty God at his
arms. And he blessed God and said,
Lord, now let us, thy servant, depart in peace according to
thy word. For mine eyes have seen thy salvation. Do we hold him close to our hearts? We have an earthen vessel. We
treat it as such. He said, your father, Abraham,
rejoiced to see my day. And he saw it. He's glad. Are
we glad? Or is this just a, are we punching a time clock? I got some pearls of wisdom from
brother Scott Richardson. We're going to be seeing more
of them in the near future, but he said, most of us spend more
time preparing for an unpromised old age than we do preparing
for an eternity guaranteed by the promise of God. And that
is what's retirement going to be like. Another thing is Brother
Scott said, a man only retires from something he don't want
to do no more. I hope I keep wanting to preach. Tell this
truth to somebody. Those that physically saw Christ
in the flesh, they physically heard him and they were not given
life. That added to their condemnation, didn't it? Those that sit underneath
the preaching of the gospel and don't care, that's added to their
condemnation. That's a weight I can't explain to you. Somebody
may grow up and preach one day. For me to preach to somebody
and then never sit underneath the gospel again, I carry that. If
we have visitors, as soon as it's over, I want to go home.
I need to talk to them. I need to say hi to them, but
I want to go crawl underneath a rock somewhere and pray. Lord, save them and bring them
back. I don't ever want to have a ministry of condemnation. But it's so, there's a two-edged
sword. The Lord said, woe unto thee, Chorazin, woe unto thee,
Bethsaida, for the mighty works which were done in you, had they
been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long
ago in sackcloth and ashes. Sodom and Gomorrah would have
bowed the knee if they saw what you saw. But I say unto you,
it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of
judgment than for you. What a weighty thing. Who's sufficient
for such things? This world only saw man. And
most, most in our day only see a man. They see some dude named
Jesus. That's almighty God. The word
was made flesh. Christ was made flesh. He dwelt
among us and we beheld his glory. The glory is the only begotten
of the father, full of grace and truth. That's what we've
seen. We're different. God's done something for us,
but the world didn't. I hear a lot of talk about where
the gospel is not. That's prevalent. It's all over
this nation where the gospel isn't. That's the majority of
places, right? Let us cling to, let us support
and let us encourage the places and the people where we know
it is. Let's do that. Instead of knocking down dead
trees, let's fertilize the living ones. How about that? What are we to gain from all
this? The day will come when this building we see is gone,
and when this man's gone, when these chairs are gone, and these
eyes and these ears are laid in the ground, and the day will
come when this well of living water in San Diego County's dried
up. There won't be no gospel here.
That day's coming. That day's coming. When each
of us then will be alone and one-on-one with God. Then what? Then what? My hope of life is
not in a church. My hope of life is not in reading
his word every day because I'm a good little Christian. My hope
in life is not memorizing what commentators had to say. My hope
of life is not giving my time to him, my service to him. My
hope of life is not me giving money. That's a lyric, I've read
that too. A man thinks he does something
when he gives a tenth. 100% is the Lord's. If we realize that,
it makes us change a little bit, won't it? My hope of eternal
life is the living Lord Jesus Christ. There in verse 19, it
says, yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more, but
ye see me because I live, ye shall live also. Seek the Lord
while ye may be found. It might be just a little while.
Call on him while he's near. Lord said in Matthew 7, He said,
I ask and it'll be given to you. Man won't ask. Seek and ye shall
find. That's too hard. That takes a
lot of effort. I think I can find an easier
way. We're lazy by nature, right? Knock and he shall be opened
unto you. For everyone that asketh receiveth. And he that seeketh
findeth and him that knocketh, it shall be opened. Does that
mean we got to get to work? No, that's the Lord saying to
me, saying, live, you dry bones. Live. I can't make bones live.
He can. Seek Him. I can't make nobody
seek Him. We're dead by nature. He can. Behold, now is the acceptable
time. Behold, now is the day of salvation.
How will we know? How will we know if we have these
things, if the Lord's given us eyes to see? Look at verse 20.
At that day, when you do see Him, and you see He's life, and
I'm in Him, at that day you shall know that I am in the Father.
Where's he at right now? Seated at the right hand of God.
Who is he? He is God. And ye are in me. You're going
to know. When I give you eyes, you're
going to know that you are in me. There's unity there. And
I am in you. We're one. Explain it. I can't
do it, but I know it's so. It's so. Right now, I'm in a
vital, living union with the Almighty God. He made me that
way. Why? Because he's the Father and the
three are one. He wanted to, it pleased him,
so I know who he is. I know that thing. Christ is a holy God and
a person, and he's made me united in him. Salvation's of the Lord. It's thy salvation. It ain't
mine. It ain't out on the drugstore
shelf waiting for the taking. It's his salvation. He'll do
what he wants. And he dwells in me, and I in him, and I know
it. I know it. I talked to Karen
the other day, I woke up, I said, she got up real early. I woke
up and she went next to me. And I didn't lose my mind. Oh,
are we still married? Oh, maybe I ought to. I know I'm married to her. She
knows she's married to me. Well, if I got enough sense to
know that I'm married to her and she's married to me, I ought
to have enough sense to know if the Lord's revealed himself to me,
I'm married to my kinsman redeemer, because he's bought me with a
price. He's given me eyes to see. I'll forget it. But I ought to know that, don't
I? I know that that small box they called a mercy seat. That
wasn't just a box. That wasn't just where they threw
blood. That was a picture of a person. I know that ark that
Noah built. He said, get an ark, y'all. Come
on. Christ is righteousness. Get
an ark. And I said, oh man, that fella.
I got important stuff to do at 1 a.m. I ain't got time to get
up early and go see that fella talk. and it was over, wasn't
it? That ark wasn't just a boat that
saved a couple people. That ark was Christ. We see that. We know that, don't we? It's
not just bread and wine. Well, I'll just eat a little
unleavened bread and get you some grape juice or wine or whatever
suits you. No, that's the body. It represents
the body and the blood of our Savior, of the person that is
our salvation. For I through the law am dead
to the law, that I might live unto God. I am crucified with Christ. Nevertheless,
I live. Yet not I, but Christ liveth
in me. I'm in him, and he's in me, and I know it. Anything I
do good, it's his doing. Anything ain't right, that's
me. Everything bad's on me. And the life which I now live
in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved
me and gave himself for me. That's what Paul said in Galatians
2. And all those brethren that believed in Galatia said that's
right. And those that believe now said that's right. I didn't
choose him, he chose me. I didn't love him first, he loved
me. I didn't give myself life. I was dead. Does that make you
mad, sad, or glad? If I made you mad, that means
you was listening to me. I take that over lukewarmness
any day of the week. Verse 19, yet a little while,
and the world seeth me no more, but ye see me, because I live,
ye shall live also. And that day, that first day
you live, today, if the Lord has life in you, and tomorrow,
and that day, whenever he raises us from the grave, you're gonna
know that I'm in the Father, and you are in me, and I'm in
you. He that hath my commandments, what's his commandments? Love
God with everything in you, and love your neighbors as yourself.
Love, not hate, love. Oh, but do I have other gods?
No. Can I lie to my parents now? Of course not. What's wrong with
you? Can I just murder some people? Can I just go shoot everybody
up down there? We know better than that, don't we? He that
keepeth my commandments and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me. Can you keep from loving the
Lord? If you love him now, can you stop it? Can you quit believing
him? Can you quit loving your brethren,
your true brethren? You can't because it's instinct. It's the
nature of the new creation. That's what it is. We can't keep
from it. And he that loveth me shall be loved of my father and
I will love him and will manifest myself to him. That's the sweet
spot. How did all this start? He manifested
Himself in us. How did I get through today?
Christ manifested Himself in me. Well, what about when this
is the resurrection, and I'm there, and He's the Father's
One, and I get it all now? He's going to manifest Himself
to us. He's the prize. You get that? He's the inheritance. How? How are you going to manifest
yourself to us? That's what Jude asked, didn't
it? We'll cover it next week. Verse 22, Judah saith unto him,
not Ascariot, Lord, how is it thou wilt manifest thyself unto
us, not the world? How you gonna do that? Well,
you have enough sense to ask that question, Judah. That's
probably a good starter, isn't it? I'm so thankful for these
apostles and Peter and all of them asking questions that I
ain't got the guts to. that I ain't got the guts to.
Mankind says, well, that's a dumb question. In this business, everything's
serious enough, not asking the questions, that's the dumb part
of it. I'm so thankful, and Lord was so patient and tender. Been
with him three and a half years. Every day they heard him preach.
Every day they heard God speak to him. And I don't understand
what's going to happen. All right, buddy. Like a child,
because you'd be like a child in his kingdom, don't you? I
pray he makes us children. All right.
