Those words are wonderful, aren't
they? I like the third verse. It says, I will be with thee,
thy troubles to bless. Have you ever thought about troubles
as a blessing? God's people do. And sanctify
to thee thy deepest stress. Psalm 25, I'm going to go back
with me again. Psalm 25, the title of this is a psalm for a soul in trouble
or a cry for help. This is my psalm. I need this
psalm. Job is the oldest book in the
Bible. Job said, man is born of woman,
is a few days and full of trouble, full of trouble. But Scott Richardson,
whom the Lord took several years ago, he made this statement,
and he's a man that went through many, many troubles, many troubles,
just like Job. And he said, We're either in
trouble, coming out of trouble, or going into trouble. And so, and so. This is a prayer,
this psalm. You notice? Unto thee, O Lord,
do I lift up my soul. This is a prayer. Hearts cry. You know, the Lord said that
whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. We hear that so much, don't we?
It's true. The Lord can't lie. Whoever calls
on the name of the Lord, the Lord Jesus Christ, shall be saved
eternally. Temporally, we've got temporal
troubles. We've got daily troubles. We've
faced with all sorts of trials and troubles that we need saved
from. Whosoever. What a promise. It begins this way, Unto thee,
O Lord, do I lift up my soul. This is not a form, a prayer
in a form. This is from the heart. My heart and soul, O Lord, I
lift it up to you. Oh, my God. Would that some who just use
that name every day without giving it a thought would say from the
heart and from their innermost being, so, oh, my God. I trust in thee. That means I
look to you. I depend upon you. I'm completely
dependent on you. I trust in you. I believe you. I believe your word. I believe
what you're saying. Let me not be ashamed, verse
2. Let me not be ashamed. And throughout this psalm, David
thinks back on his youth. What is youth? Well, I don't know. Now, I don't know. My mother is a hundred years
old. Seventy is still somewhat young. Let me not be ashamed. Our Lord said, he said, If you're
ashamed of me and my words in this wicked generation, this
generation that doesn't give God a thought, just uses His
name to curse with. God is so good, so merciful,
so kind, so compassionate. who gives and gives and gives
and does this for everyone, every soul. And won't worship him,
won't thank him, won't call him, won't believe his son, won't
confess him. Our Lord said, if you're ashamed
of me and this untoward generation, I'll be ashamed of you. I'm ashamed of myself now, aren't
you? I'm ashamed of my unbelief. I'm
ashamed of my sinfulness. I'm ashamed of my lack of thankfulness
and gratitude. I'm ashamed of my self-love. I'm ashamed. I'm ashamed I'm not more thankful
to God. Oh, but he says in verse 2, let
not mine enemies triumph over me. There's no greater shame
than to make a profession of faith in God and Christ and to
drop it later on. Nothing brings more shame on
God, on the kingdom of God, the church, the gospel. Nothing brings
more shame on our families, ourselves, than to make a profession of
faith and later on leave for the world. And it's always for
the world. It brings great shame on God. And our enemies are many. And they're not who we necessarily
think are our enemies. Our Lord said a man's enemies
will be those of his own household. Oh, Lord, not enemies. The arch
enemy is the God of this world. He deceived the woman in the
garden. She had everything she needed.
She had God, she had peace, she had comfort, she had rest. And
the archenemy said, no, listen to me, it was a lie. A God of
this world lying to men and women, still deceiving people, deception
with riches and pleasure and this and that. You need this,
you need that. No, you don't need that. You need to listen
to God. Listen to Christ. Listen to his
Word. My name is the God of this world. I have enemies without
the world. The world is not a friend. God's
people. They want nothing more than for
you to leave God, leave Christ, and come with them because misery
loves company. My chief enemy is inside of me.
He's called Seth. And if left to myself, I will
destroy myself. Chief enemy, your worst enemy,
is Seth. We love our Seth. And we will
destroy ourselves. We won't think about God. We
won't think about anybody else. We'll hurt ourselves. We'll hurt
everybody else. We'll despise and rebel and transgress
against God who feeds us. We'll bite the hand that feeds
us. We'll walk all over everybody trying to make ourselves happy. Oh, let me not be ashamed, for
this is going to be a great shame. We live this life only for ourselves,
only for God to save. And they will win. These enemies
are more powerful than us, and they will win. And there's only
one way. And only one what? Nothing and
no one more powerful than these enemies, than the Lord Jesus
Christ. Whosoever shall call on the name
of the Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved from your enemies. Verse 3, David thinks about his
brethren. Let none that wait on thee be
ashamed. He talks about waiting on the Lord, verse 5. You know,
we've looked at this psalm as much as any other psalm except
Psalm 23. We've looked at this many times
together. The last time was just two years ago. In verse 2, David
says, I wait all day. I wait all day. To wait on the
Lord You know, I hope you come here,
and I know many if not most of you do, you come here to worship
the Lord. You come here to give thanks.
It's our reason of service. It's what we want to do. It's
what we ought to do. It's what our hearts and souls
want to do for the mercy and the grace and the goodness and
all that the Lord does so much for us, and we spend all these
days, all week long, pretty much on ourselves. And God has set
aside a day for us to meet together just to thank him, just for an
hour. That's not much. And so we come together to thank
our God, and we're waiting to worship. There's a psalm that
says, Praise waiteth for thee, O Lord, in Zion. I want to worship
the Lord. You know what? My enemies are
powerful. I can't get away from them. They bombard me. All the
thoughts, the cares, all this stuff just bombards me. So Lord, we're waiting on this
Holy Spirit to come and help us to worship. We're waiting
on a word from Him. I need the Lord to speak to me. Don't you? I need Him to speak
to you through me. This is how God helps us. This is the only help for human
beings. This is it. This is the power
of God unto salvation, the Word of God. Don't preach to me, preacher. And they that observe lying vanities,
and that's everything in this world, forsake their own mercy. It's only one help. We need God
to speak to us. We need God to speak to our children.
We need God to speak to our spouses, don't we? We need God to speak
to us. The Lord will be waiting for
you to speak. Would you please speak to us? Tell us, and David
all through, tell us the way. Show us the way. Teach us. Speak
to us and teach us. Don't let this go in one ear
and out the other. This is not like school out there. You can take that or leave it,
you know. I went through it and I mostly
left it. I'm sorry, Hope, I'm sorry. Schools
could go there, mostly to keep you out of trouble. But this
is life or death. The Holy Spirit is our teacher,
who leads us and guides us in all truth, the truth as it is
of the Lord Jesus Christ. We need Him to speak and open
our ears and our eyes and show us, lest we destroy ourselves. He says in verse 3, let none
but wait on thee. We're waiting on the Word, we're
waiting on the Lord, we're waiting for help. We can't, you know,
when you wait, When you wait on the Lord, that's what he's
talking about, waiting on you. You've heard his voice and you're
following it. And, you know, we get in trouble
every time we don't wait on the Lord, every time we take matters
into our own hands, every time it said in Psalm 106, it said
they didn't wait on a word from the Lord and they just ran ahead.
So they got in trouble. Because we will do what we want
to do. The lust of the flesh, the lust
of the eyes, the pride of life, that's what we'll go after. And
it threatens to undo us and destroy us. So we need to wait. Not my
will, but thy will. Show me your will. Show me your
way. Teach me. Lead me. Guide me. Direct me. Don't let me take a step. There's a way which seems right
to men, but the end is just what? You know how many times it says
that in Scripture? But mankind is so done. No, this is the way I want to
go. Lord, don't let me go my way. Verse 3 says, Let them be ashamed
which transgress without cause. You know, transgression means
It means treachery, it means to be a traitor. The word actually
means to cover and do things deceitfully, like in the dark. In other words, you put on a
front during the daytime, like you're okay, and at nighttime
you secretly are doing this and that and the other. And mankind is a rebel against
God. If you put on a religious face, but covertly rebels against God. Transgress a lot of traitors.
Theta hymena. Verse 4, show me thy ways. Thy
ways, show me thy ways, O Lord. Teach me thy paths." Notice it's
plural, ways and paths, and then he talks about the truth and
then he talks about the way. But the ways of God are his will, his word, his
wisdom. Show me thy ways. You know the
wisdom of man is absolutely foolish? What man is declaring now, and
everyone should do this and do that, it will change next week. But the will, the Word, the wisdom
of God is unchanging, it's right, it's holy, it's just, it's true.
The providence of God, his ways, his character, show me thy ways. Not man's ways. God's ways are
not man's ways. His ways are righteous, right.
Everything about man is wrong. It ends up bad. You know that? Everything about man is wrong
and it ends up bad. The ways of man. The ways of
God are holy or just or true. People will lie to you to get
their way. God will lie. He cannot lie.
Show me thy ways. God's ways are not a good way,
not a better way. It's the only way. The ways of man. Did you ever
think, some of you older people, did you ever think you'd see
this world like it is? perverted. It's filth. And God is still God. He's going to wipe it out. Can it get much worse? I don't
think so. Teach me thy path. Verse 5, lead
me in thy truth and teach me. Now, what is truth? What's truth? Man thinks, acts like he's in
search of truth. He's not in search of truth.
He believes lies. What is truth? We need the truth. What's truth? Christ said, I
am the truth. Truth about God, truth about
man, truth about love, truth about joy. You can't have any
lasting joy without Christ. Truth about peace. There is no
peace for someone who does not know the principle. There is
no happiness. There is no contentment. There
is no wisdom. Lead me in thy truth. Lead me
to the Lord Jesus Christ. Oh God, lead me to the Lord Jesus
Christ. And teach me. Teach me. You know
what the Scripture said, what our Lord said? They shall all
be taught of God. All thy children, Isaiah 54,
13, John 6, 45. All thy children shall be taught
of God. If you'll listen as a little
child, if you'll receive the word as a little child, you'll
be taught of God. And you know what the end of thy children
is? Peace. The way of the transgressor
is hard, and it just gets harder and harder and harder until you
get old. Brother John, you want to hear
a blessing? Hear Brother John Chapman's mother's
funeral. What a blessing. Talk about getting
old. And the old days don't become
the good old days, they become the evil days. And if a man forgets
God, a woman, a young person, oh, remember thou now, thy Creator,
the days of thy youth before the evil days come now. When
you get old and your mind is gone, then there's no hope. It's over. And everything you've
lived for, everything you've wanted to try to get some happiness
and some peace, some joy, is gone. You can't even enjoy it. And you just die. Man's an ignorant creature, isn't
he? Ignorant. Christ said, come unto me. All you that labor for all of
this, come unto me. I'll give you rest. I'll give
you rest. Verse 6, Remember, O Lord, thy
tender mercies and thy lovingkindness. They've never been of old. You
know, this is a book of remembrance. For those that met together,
Malachi 3.16, I love that. For those that got together that
feared his name, that describes God's true people. They meet
together in fear and reverence and worship. And those that fear
his name and thought on his name, it says a book of remembrance
was written. And this is a book of remembrance. You know what
it reminds us of? You know what it reminds us of?
Man's sin against God. That man just can't quit sinning
against God. He's been sinning against God
from the beginning. God. And it reminds us of just
how good God is. How merciful God is. How gracious
God is. What all God keeps doing for
man. Us. What all He keeps doing for us.
And He reminds us. That's like Ephesians 2 there.
And you. Yeah, you. Sally, Kelly, Tom,
Helen. There's not one in here that
doesn't look like. You that walk according to the
course of this world. The prince of the power there.
Captive to him. Children of disobedience as others,
children of wrath even as others, just like the world, not giving
up. You, and then verse 4 says, but God reminds us. He keeps, that's what the gospel,
that's, I'm preaching to Missanthi. Remember, just think back on
what all God has done for you. Just think back on your youth.
Verse 7 says, Remember not the sins of my youth. There's not
a person in here who would not like to wipe out something you've
done in the past. There's not an adult in here
that wouldn't like to go back and undo something and do it
over again. Anybody? Is there anybody that
something in your past haunts you and you never get over? I wish I hadn't done that and I
can't undo it. There's nothing I can do about it. David said,
my sin is ever before me. We're not supposed to confess
our sins one to another. Don't do it. But I'm going to
tell you something. You know, boys, when they get
together, they like to show off. Girls like to talk, you know,
smile at you and then talk about you behind your back. Boys like
to show off, you know. Well, there was a young man in
school that everybody kind of made fun of. His mind wasn't
all there. And harmless as death. And I was with some of my friends.
And I was made of that water. And this day, I'd like to go
back there. I'd like to find him and beg him for forgiveness. You know who I did that to? God,
who made me to live. I'm grateful to God And I can't undo that. And I
can't get over it. It still haunts me. Fifty-some
years ago. And I tell you what, there's
things I thought yesterday that haunt me. And I can't undo it. And we don't know what we're
going to do tomorrow, do we? You don't know what you're going
to do. We need this. We need this. Remember not. How can God who
cannot forget anything? How can God who cannot learn
anything, that cannot forget anything? How can God not remember
our sins? You know He said that? You know
He said that? Through Adam, Jeremiah is going
to turn to Eve for the sake of time. He said, there are sins
and iniquities I will remember no more. I'll never bring them
up. You know, it's like a person
with something on their record, you know, a habitual criminal,
something on their record. You can't blot it out. It's on
your record now. You can't do it. You go to apply for a job
and it's on your record, nothing you can do about it. You know
what God said? I'm going to blot it out. There will be no remembrance,
no memory, and I will not let anybody ever bring it up again.
It's like it never happened. I'm going to justify them. I'm
going to declare them to be holy, unblameable, unapprovable, and
just in my sight, just as if they had never seen it. Justify
them from all things. How? How? Because Christ came in the
world to save sinners. Not by showing them the way,
but by being the way. Sold at sin must surely die. Every sin shall receive a just
recompense. God told him he must punish sin.
He will punish sin. Well, then how can God justify
me and forgive me and blot out my transgressions and forgive
my sins? Because he laid them on Jesus
Christ. If you need him. If you call on him. If you call
on him, Lord. Against thee and thee only. Now, I've heard everybody else
bad. But it's against you that I've
been doing this. God says, I just forget it. I just forget it. You know, I
hurt my parents bad. I hurt them bad. They were so
good to me. I went, you know, just not too
long ago, when my mother's mind was still sharp, and I said,
Mom, I just, please forgive me for all those things I did as
a young man. She said, what things? But, Mom, I was a Rep. I don't
remember. Really? I can't forget. Here's mercy,
here's something that is wonderful to me. It's what I can't forget,
what I cannot get out of my mind, God can't remember. My thanks. And what I seem to forget, His
mercy, His grace, His loving kindness, I do it all the time
out there in the world, thinking about myself, thinking about
the world, going after stuff that I went after as a teenager,
going after the same stuff. You're never going to learn them. But God, what I can't remember, I forget what trouble it got
me into. What I can't remember, God can't
forget. What? His mercy. I just read Psalm 136. I just
read it. Keep saying it over and over
again. His mercy endureth forever. His covenant. You know why the
covenant means so much to us? He won't forget His covenant.
And those that lay hold of His covenant. Let's read on. I've
got to hurry. Verse 6, good and upright is
the Lord. God's so good. Upright? What's that mean? He deals straight
up. I'm telling you the truth. Transgressors,
you know, sneaking and hiding and tricking people and lying
to people and pretending to be one way or another. Treacherous,
traitors. No, God's straight up. The Word of God looks you right
in the eye and tells you this is the way it is. This is the
truth. Who would you rather deal with?
There's not a politician on earth that's upright. It's tricky. Promise you this, promise you
that. That's truth. I'm telling you
the truth. It's upright. It's right what
I'm telling you. It's right. Right. It's upright. It's good. He'll teach. Who's
he teach the way? Sinners. We say this all the
time. Hmm. Sinners. This gospel really is for sinners. It really is. The way is practiced. The meek will he guide in judgment.
The meek. We looked at that recently, didn't
we? The meek. He keeps telling us that. The
meek will he teach his way. The meek. You know, the meek
is someone that whatever God sends their way, they take it,
whether good or bad, knowing that if it's bad, they're not
getting what they really deserve. And if it's good, it's way too
good for them. Right? He hath not dealt with
us after our sins. His ways are not our ways. David
went in the sanctuary and he said, Lord, you've promised all
this to me. I'm just nothing but a sinner.
He said, this is not the way of man. You cross man, you become
man's enemy. You'll be his enemy from now
on. And he'll never forgive you. God says, I forgive them. Completely
forgive them. Forgotten. Won't bring it up
again. That's not the way of the man. All the paths, verse 10, all
the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep His
covenant, His testimonies. Those who lay to hold on Christ,
those who believe the gospel, those in here who come and sit
and need the Lord Jesus Christ and need to hear this gospel,
that's what it means to keep His covenant, His testimonies,
His word, coming to hear a word from Him. All the paths of the
Lord are mercy and truth. Every single path, every single
step you've taken all your life was the mercy of God to bring
you to Jesus Christ. Every trouble, every trial, every
sin. Unbelievable. How could that,
you know, me treating that boy so bad, how could that, what
good could come out of that? A broken and a contrite heart.
God said, I don't understand. A proud heart cast out of my presence. Every
proud sinner out here. This gospel is for sinners. Unworthy
sinners. And I'm the chief. I'm the chief. All the paths of the Lord are
mercy. We're not getting what we deserve,
people. And truth. Lead us to Christ. Verse 11,
David says, pardon, right in the middle, he says, for thy
name's sake, O Lord, pardon mine iniquity. It is great. Is great. Is great. Let's read on. What man is he
that feareth the Lord? You know Psalm 130. Says this,
if thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquity, who's going to stand?
Who's going to stand in the judgment? Because everybody's guilty. I'm
being guilty to God. But there is forgiveness with
thee. There is forgiveness. How? Ask. Confess your sins. He's faithful and just to forgive
us our sin and the blood of Jesus Christ, God sent a cleanser.
Just to ask, Lord, forgive me, please. Cleanse me, wash me,
truly, my name. But he adds these words, and
some preachers seem to forget this. There is forgiveness with
thee that thou mayest be feared. A truly repentant soul, sorry soul,
said, Lord, don't let me do that again. Let me remember what I
did, what it got me into. Let them not return to folly,
the Lord said. For those that fear them. Don't
you fear doing that again, getting back in that pit? What man is he that feareth the
Lord? Him shall he teach in the way he shall choose. God's chosen
Christ. He's his elect, isn't he? He's
the way. Verse 13, His soul shall dwell
at ease, though my sin is ever before
me, though I am the chief of sinners.
And I mean it. I mean it. I can't tell you how
many times I wish I was not your preacher, but I am. Who better
to preach the gospel than a sinner? But it is well with myself. The secret of the Lord, verse
14. The secret of the Lord. That's the gospel. It's a secret.
It's hidden. is with them that fear him. You
see how often it says, fear him, fear him, fear him? Up there
in verse 7, it says, Remember thou me for thy goodness sake.
There's an old thief on a cross. He may have been young. But when
our Lord was crucified, he purposely ordered it that he be crucified
and he hang between two thieves. Both of them, transgressors at
night, sneaking around. Their mothers probably thought
well of them, but they were worthless. Troublemakers. Both of them. One on his right hand, one on
his left hand. And even in our Lord's pain and agony and suffering
and all that, they were making fun of him, their God. And doesn't
that describe mankind? He's dying. He's under the wrath
and judgment of God. He's laughing and scoffing at
God. Oh, my God. The only hope is that one hanging
on that cross. That forgiveness, that just forgiveness
for a word. Just for asking. Just for asking. Their whole past wiped out just
for asking. But they won't ask. Through pride. But God, this one old boy had
never done anything good for anybody. Never lived his whole
life for himself. Killed himself. Everybody loved him already.
He's hanging there dying. And all of a sudden, he turns
to the other fellow and says, Don't you fear God? You know, the other one might
have said, Well, you never did before. He does now. He's come to himself. The Lord
has brought him to himself. He's showing himself. Look what
you've done to yourself. Look what you've done to God. And then he turned to the Lord
Jesus Christ and said three words. I'd like to forget my past. I'd
like to forget, everybody's going to forget I ever lived. I've never done anything for
anybody but myself. My whole life has been a worthless
mess. Lord, if you could please have
mercy on this sinner. And just remember, you're coming
into your kingdom. You're coming back to this world. It belongs
to you to receive your people. Would you, could you, would you
please just think on me? Could I possibly be a member
of your, would you remember me? You know what the Lord said? Today. You know, today is the
day of salvation. Verse 15, mine eyes are ever
toward the Lord. Mine eyes are ever toward the
Lord. I love that 2 Chronicles 20 where they're all gathered
together there, wives and their children, their little ones,
and they say, Lord, with this world, everybody in it's against
us and we don't know what to do. Our eyes are upon thee. We
need your help. That's why we come here. And it says in verse 15, isn't
this significant? He'll pluck my feet out of the
net. Don't you marvel at God's Word,
how that it perfectly fits whatever modern man comes up with. We'll
create a worldwide net, and we'll just get everybody in it. And they can't get out of it.
And this is where they go, and this is what they look to, and
this is what they seek when they seek counsel, when they seek
advice, when they seek knowledge and seek wisdom, when they seek
a way of the truth and all that, will go to the net. God plucked my feet out of the
net. Who wove this net? Huh? God of this world. Yes, he did. There's a proverb that says,
Proverbs 1. Man, people just read the Word.
It says, In vain is the net spread in the sight of a bird. Oh, Lord. And there's only one
way the Lord's going to show you the net, the pit, to keep
you from falling in it. Right here. The entrance of thy
word giveth light. That's a net. That's a trap. In vain is the net spread in
the sight of a bird. Lord, let me mount up on wings
of eagles. Look how we grovel here below,
fond as the earth they tore. Take me under thy wing. Don't let me get caught in the
net. Turn unto me, verse 16, turn
unto me, have mercy upon me, I'm desolate and afflicted. Turn
unto me. Simon Peter, I love this story. Simon Peter denied the Lord. It was the worst trial of his
life. You know the story. He denied the Lord. And he never
got over that. It's like Saul of Tarsus Paul. He never got over watching them
stone Stephen. Yeah, hit him again. Hit him
again. Stephen. Like me and that young
boy. Never got over it. Simon Peter denied the Lord.
Brought shame on his God, on Christ. Brought shame on his
brethren. Brought shame on the gospel.
Brought shame on his family. If God hadn't had mercy on him,
he would have gone back to the world and destroyed himself. Simon Peter was outside where
they were crucifying the Lord and beating him and plucking
his beard on the inside. And Simon Peter looked up and
the Lord turned, it says. The Lord turned and just looked
at him. Just turned and looked at him.
It's like a dagger in his heart. And he went out and wept bitterly. But the sacrifices of God are
a broken heart. And he went out and wept bitterly.
And you know what? The Lord called him back. If the Lord hadn't looked on
him in mercy and grace, if the Lord hadn't looked on him to
convict him, to show him, You're no better than you were.
You can't keep yourself. You've got to keep looking to
me. And you denied me, Peter, but I'm not going to deny you."
And he looked on him. And it broke his heart. And he
heard these blessed words, Go tell my disciples, and Peter. He said, Come on back. Because
how can I give you up, This is my message. This is for
me. Can't give you that. Look upon my affliction, my Verse 17, the troubles of my
heart are enlarged. You know, that's a good kind
of trouble. Bring thou me out of my distresses.
Look upon mine affliction and my pain. Forgive all my what? Sins. Oh, the world doesn't think pain
and affliction and distress and troubles are a good thing, but
they are for God's people. Sister Robin and I were talking
how you really don't learn anything except through trials and tribulations
and troubles. You don't learn a thing. You
don't. Hopefully we're thankful and
grateful and there's no troubles going on, but we really learn
more of God's mercy, God's grace, God's goodness, our own sinfulness,
our own helplessness, our own need through troubles. And he sanctifies them to us. in our deepest distress. Verse
19, he closes how he began, Consider mine illness. There are many
that hate me with a cruel hatred. O keep my soul, deliver me. Remember how he started? Unto
thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. And that's our hope, isn't
it? He's our hope. Keep my soul,
deliver me, let me not be ashamed. You know, everyone that calls
on Him in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, he's not ashamed
to call them brethren. No matter how ashamed you are
of your past, He's not ashamed of you. That's why we sang that
song all together. Ashamed of the Lord Jesus? Yes,
I may, but I have no guilt, no sins to wash away. No guilt. That may not be a shame. I put
my trust in thee. Verse 21, let integrity and uprightness
preserve me. Whose integrity? Whose uprightness? His. I wait on him. And then he prays for all his
brethren. You know, God will give peace to those that pray
for the brethren. We can come right back to self,
you know. All we think about is ourselves. God will leave us to ourselves,
with all our troubles. But they'll prosper that love
God's people, that love God's kingdom, that pray for others.
For my brethren and companions' sake, David said, will I say,
peace be within thee. Redeem Israel, O God. Redeem my sister, Sarah. She can't redeem herself. Redeem
my brother, John. Redeem my brother, Dan. Redeem. Oh, God. I have all these troubles. And it's very soon. It's going
to be very soon. No more trouble. I told you,
listen to John's message at Mother's funeral. Death, precious in the
sight of the Lord, is the death of his saints, was his text. And when death comes for the
believer, it's the death of trouble. No more trouble. No more sorrows. No more tears. No more sin. No more dying. No more worries. No more guilt. No more shame. Now, who wouldn't look forward
to that? God's people that trust the Lord, that look to Him, He's
going to redeem them in all their troubles.
