John chapter 3, this is a familiar
story to most. The story of the Lord and Nicodemus. We're going to look at it. I'm
going to take the story of him down to verse 13. And then I'm
going to ask a question. And this is the reason, this
is the purpose, this is... My hope and prayer that we all
might ask ourselves, the spirit of God will pose this question. Have you been born again? You must be born again. Have I been born again? Over
and over it says that. Chapter verse 3, verse 5, verse
6, verse 7, verse 8. Born, born, born, born, born.
He kept bringing this up. New life is to be born, isn't
it? Born the first time means you
exist. You didn't exist before. And
you're given life. Born, born, born. Well, our Lord
is talking about life from above. The life of God. Spiritual life.
Eternal life. Nothing could be plainer. What
our Lord says here to Nicodemus, nothing could be plainer. And nothing else matters. Because this life ends in Adam
all nine. But in Christ, all made alive. Have you been born again? That
which is born of God never dies. Neither hath the Son hath the
life. Now this goes with the last part of chapter 2, which
we did not look at on purpose. Look at verses 23 through 25.
Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover, in the feast
day, many believed in his name, Jesus. When they saw the miracles
that he did. But Jesus did not commit himself
unto them. He knew all. He knew. and needed
not that any should testify of man, of him. He knew what was
in man. Okay? This goes together. He knew what was in man. Down
in verse 6 it says, that which is flesh is flesh. All right? And what is in man by nature
is the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride
of life. There are no thoughts of God. There's no faith. There's no need for God, no thanksgiving
to God, no desire for God, no need for Christ, no need of salvation,
no desire toward God's Word, only flesh. When we're born into
this world, Because one thing we think about and live for is
flesh. Food, drink, fun, entertainment,
and religion is no different. Fleshly religion. The religion
of man is all about feelings and fun and family and miracles
and music and all of that. That's flesh. That's what's in
man. Okay? That's what appeals to
man. And we must be a new man. There must be a new man created
in us. It's not flesh, but spirit. To
see, to understand, to know, to love, to hear, to believe. to enjoy, to desire the things
of God. Man loves flesh by nature. Okay? Now, verse 1 says, now
there was a man of the Pharisee. A man. He was a Pharisee. This was as high as you could
get in religion. This was man at his best state. What does the scripture say about
every man, every man, at his best state? Be it a king, or
a president, or an emperor, or a Pharisee, or a Pope? Altogether, vanity. Why? Because what's in man? It's his
flesh. Scriptures talk so much about
the day that man died, everything about him perishes. His thoughts,
his works, everything about him, gone, useless, it's just flesh. This man was religious, he was
moral, he read his Bible, he could quote it. Nicodemus is
his name. You know what the name Nicodemus
means? Victorious. He's living the victorious life,
he thought. He thought he was saved. He thought
he was living right, above the world. He was not like
these publicans, these sinners. The fact was, He was lost. He was dead. He was blind. He didn't know God. He's in danger
of the judgment. He kept the law. He thought that
God was going to judge him by that perfect law if he's not
born again. He says he was a ruler, a ruler
of the Jews. He worked his way up. And if
you're a ruler among the Jews, if you're in a high standing
among the Jews, you were rich. And most rich people are proud. You couldn't get elected president
if you weren't a billionaire today, could you? No. He was rich. Rich. He was a ruler. He was a Jew
of the Jews. Jews were orthodox. Jews were
devout. Jews were separatists. Jews thought
they were the only people of God. Why? Because they kept the law of
God. Jews thought they were God's true people, like the Amish today,
like the German Baptist, like the Jehovah Witness, like the
Mormons, like the Seventh-day Adventists, like the devout Catholics. Right? Even like some Calvinists. All right, here he came. Verse
2 says, The same came to Jesus by night. He came to Jesus. He had heard of Jesus. Jesus
of Nazareth. Famous. Many followed Him. Admired by many. Admired by many. Sought out by many. Heard by
many. Jesus, the healer, the teacher.
This man, a man named Nicodemus, came to the man, Jesus. to talk
with him, to ask him questions, to discuss theology with this
man, this teacher, this rabbi. Now what does Hebrews say? He
that cometh to God. Nicodemus didn't know who Jesus
Christ was. He'd been on his knees right
then. If any man cometh to God, he must believe that he is. Christ
is God. Now, he came to this man. I believe
Nicodemus was later born again. I really did. And I believe it
was at the cross. In John chapter 20, I believe,
that's when he came with Joseph. Let me make sure about that.
He came with Joseph of Arimathea, chapter 19. Joseph and Nicodemus
came, and came first by night after he saw Christ crucified.
Now this is important. Any man seeth the Son believeth
on him. He came in the daytime, broad
daylight, and begged the body of the Lord Jesus Christ. He
came out publicly and acknowledged that this one that died on that
cross is my Lord, my Savior. But here he comes at nighttime,
okay? Came this man named Jesus, this
rabbi, this Jewish teacher, came by night, and that was for fear
of the Jews. Look at chapter 12. Go to John
chapter 12 with me. It was for fear of his fellow
Pharisees. It says this over here in chapter
12. You have it? John chapter 12 verse 37. It
says, He'd done many miracles, and
yet they believed not on him. The saying of Isaiah fulfilled,
Lord, who hath believed our report? To whom hath the arm of the Lord
been revealed? So he could not believe, because Isaiah said
he had blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, that they
should not see with their eyes and understand with their heart
and be converted. This man was blind. In verse 41, these things
said Isaiah when he saw his glory. Who? Jesus Christ. High and lifted
up, holy, holy, holy. Verse 42, nevertheless among
the chief rulers also many believed on him, but because of the Pharisees
they did not confess him lest they should be put out of the
synagogue. They loved the praise of men more than the praise of
God, he said. So Nicodemus came by night for
fear of being thought one of his disciples, and he was going
to lose his job. He's going to be cast out. He's
going to be excommunicated from the church. Like that man in
John 9, they cast him out of the temple. So Nicodemus came
by night. Now, I heard Brother Chapman
preach on this. Great message. But he brought
out the point, and it's good. It needs to be said that everyone,
when they first come, come for the wrong reasons. Everybody
does. When you come, you're not born
again. You don't come to worship God. You don't come to hear from
God. But God brings you as you brought. The Lord Jesus Christ
had him brought to Him. Nicodemus didn't decide to come.
The Lord had purposed him. And he came for fear and all
the wrong reasons and out of curiosity. And most do. They all do. They come for the
wrong reason. People come out of curiosity.
They come to please somebody else because their parents or
their spouse or somebody wants them to come. They come to straighten
up their lives. They get in a mess and they think,
well, I'll go to church. That's why they come. They don't come
to worship God, think, inquire of God. They come for worldly
gain. They think if I go, if I straighten
up my life and I get religion, I'll love people like me and
I'll get more customers in my business. I'll put a fish on
my side and they'll just flock and I'll make all sorts of money
if I get religion. I did this. I did this. to get in good favor
with my parents. As a young 21-year-old boy, I
thought my sister was a believer. My sister loved the worship of
God, and she was in good... And I was out of favor with my
parents. I thought, you know, I want to
get back... They just insisted I come to... So I came to get
in good favor. And there was a man who was a
contractor, a general contractor, and I needed a job. And he gave me a job. So I came
for all the wrong reasons. And there happened to be a girl
there that I had my eye on. Real pretty young girl. And I
thought, hmm, man, I could just get it off. I'd just come to
church. And I did. But God, you see,
brought me. And like old Nicodemus, it wasn't
a little while later that I saw, that I heard, I believe, that
we came. Now, verse 2, Nicodemus, he said,
Rabbi, now this is a flattering title. And our Lord told his
disciple, don't be called Rabbi. Didn't he? Don't be called Rabbi. Capital R. There's not one... I just insist upon this because
in scriptures, prophet, apostle, pastor, teachers never capitalize
and never in front of a man's name. Ever. The only time it's capitalized
in Hebrews 3 and 1 Peter 2 where it speaks of THE Bishop, capital
B, THE Shepherd, capital S, THE Apostle, capital A, THE High
Priest, capital H. It is never capitalized and never
in front of a man's name. It's a flattering title. He said
don't do it. He said one is your master. Now,
when Nicodemus said it to Jesus Christ, he said, well, and didn't
know it. Our Lord said, you call me master,
and, Lord, you say, well, for so I am. But like Elihu, I know
not to give flattering titles. If I do, my maker will take me
away. No, don't capitalize, pastor,
little p. I'm a little P, an under-shepherd. He's the great shepherd, capital
P, the definite article. Okay? That's important. I'm a rabbi. Flattery. That's what the devil does, isn't
it? Flattery. We know. Can you hear his voice? We know.
that thou art a teacher come from God. No man can do these
miracles that thou doest, except God be with thee. We know. What
do you know, Nicodemus? You don't know anything. If he'd have known him, he'd
have called him Lord, wouldn't he? That blind man in John 9,
he wasn't saved until long after his eyes were opened. He didn't
even know who Jesus Christ was. He said to other people, he said,
a man named Jesus opened my eyes. Who is he? Who is this Jesus?
I don't know. He said, I don't know him. I don't know who he
is. He's a sinner, they said. He said, I don't know if he is
or not. He doesn't know Jesus Christ. And then when he was
alone, Christ came and found him, and he said, do you believe
in the Son of God? He said, who is he? He said,
I am. He said, Lord. Lord. Now you ask him later, who healed
you? The Lord. Rabbi, we know you don't know anything.
No man knows except God revealed it, except Christ revealed it.
No man knows God, no man knows the Son, except they're revealed
to him. No, no, no, he doesn't know it.
Now I love this. Our Lord stops him in his tracks. He cuts him off. I don't think
Nicodemus was finished because he didn't ask anything. It's
like Solomon, he's going to answer her questions even before she
asks. He's going to get right to the point. We're not going
to discuss theology. Our Lord is not trying to convince
this man of who he is. Our Lord didn't come to this
world to try to convince anybody, to try to tell anybody anything.
He came to save, to seek and to save that which is lost. He
came to raise the dead. They're dead. They can't even hear His voice
until He says, come forth. This man's blind. He's dead.
He's dumb. He doesn't know God. He doesn't
know anything. And our Lord gets straight to the point. I think
right after he said this, he said, we know that thou art a
teacher come from God. No man can do these miracles
that thou doest except God be with him. Verily, verily, I say
unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom
of God. Was he looking at him? Was he
looking straight into his eyes? I don't know. Was he not looking
at him? Was he not paying any attention
to him? He could have done that, couldn't he? Like the Pharisees
that came, and the woman caught in the act of adultery, and the
Lord stooped down and made as if he wasn't hearing, he wasn't
listening to her. Was our Lord doing something else? And this
fellow came in and said, now Rabbi, it barely bared, I say
unto you, except you be born from above, born of God, born
again. You cannot see the kingdom of God. Now, nothing could be
plainer, unless God does something to a man, a woman, a child, unless
God does a miracle. Every salvation is a miracle
from above. Unless God does something, we
cannot see let alone enter. We cannot see, understand, we
cannot know anything about God, about salvation, about the kingdom
of God. We cannot see the hand of God. We cannot see the reign of God.
We cannot see, can't understand, can't know, can't believe, nothing,
nothing, nothing spiritual. Cannot see anything of the kingdom
of God. Can't do it. Because that which
is flesh is flesh. The natural man receiveth not
the things of God. They're foolishness unto him.
Neither can he. No. See. Believe. You can't convince him, you can't
educate him, you can't anything. He's blind, he's dead, he's dumb.
He must be born from above. Now that's what the word again
means. You look in your margin. Born
from above, born of God. Well, Nicodemus said this, verse
4. How? How can a man be born when he's
old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb and
be born? How? Verse 9. How can these things be? How
can this be? You know, one of our brethren
said, people will argue against the truth until they see it. People, he said, will argue about
the new birth until they're born again. Then no more arguments. None. It's clear. Now if you've
been given eyes, you see. How? How? How? How? I see. Give an eye. You know, false preaching, false
professors talk about how-to. How-to. They write books on how-to. How to be born again. How to
live a Christian life. It's what Nicodemus, how? How
to? It's not what you do. Got something
done to you. Now, until we're born of God,
you know, well, let me go on. Nicodemus knew and Everyone knows
that natural birth is not something we do. Our Lord gave him a perfect
and easy to understand illustration. He said, look at verse 5 and
6. Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
except a man be born of water and a spirit, he cannot enter
the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh
is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit
is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, you must be born again
or from above of God. Nicodemus knew, and every human
being knows, that natural birth is not something we do. What if you said to someone,
I got born the other day? Are you an idiot? What do you mean? Yeah, I let my parents give me
birth. I accepted them as my personal
parents. I let them into my heart. Well,
you idiot. Have you lost your mind? Somebody
take him away. Yeah, I was there. My mother
wanted me to come out. And I decided to come out. You're laughing, aren't you?
Well, it's laughable what men say about salvation, which is a much greater work,
a much more miraculous thing. You know, everyone gives credit
where credit is due, to their parents, their mothers specifically,
their mothers. Many don't know their fathers,
so they give all the credit for their existence and everything
they are, my mother. My mother did it. I had nothing
to do with it. She brought me into this world.
She taught me. She brought me up. She fed me.
She clothed me. She did all this for me. I owe
my life and my existence and all that I am to my mother. Well, Malachi 1 says, if I be
your father, where's my honor? If I gave you birth, what's all
this talk about you doing this and you doing that? See, nobody that's born of God
is going to give any credit to anybody but God. The sons of
God, they say it. I was born of God. I was dead. I was lost. He found me. I was
blind. He gave me eyes to see. I was
deaf. He gave me ears to hear. Dumb. Couldn't speak. He gave me a
mouth to speak. Pretenders. Professors. Share His glory. I'm telling you, this is an absolute
fact. This will tell you who's born again and who's not. Anybody
that takes any credit for their salvation, it's said they did
anything in some part in their salvation, whatever it is, let
go and let God. Oh, did you now? And God saves a man. He's in
captivity with God in this world. And the Son of God comes to the
preacher of the gospel and lets him go! Turn him loose! You know what, Lord, that must
save John? Not offer. Come on out now. No,
no, no. Ransom's been found. Turn him
loose! Can't do that. Yes. Take me. Turn him loose. That's how. And when you come out, you realize,
like Barabbas, the only reason I'm not dead is because of that
man hanging on that cross right there. Now this is a fact. We're not
arguing theology. Who gave you life? And I'm asking
the question in the end here. I'm asking it now. You can't
wait. Have you been born again? Do you say, who gave you eyes?
Do you know how? Except, verse 5, our Lord said,
except a man be born of water and a spirit, he cannot, he can't
see the kingdom of God unless he's born again, he cannot enter
the kingdom of God. He will not be there, except
he be born of water and the spirit. Now, this is wonderful. What
is water? What is our Lord speaking of
there? Well, it's the Word of God. All through Scripture, it
represents the Word of God, the water, okay? James 1.18, of His
own will, beget he us, beget he us, gave birth to us with
the Word of truth. Okay? 1 Peter 1 says, having
been born of God by the Word of God, This is the Word which
by the Gospel, born again, not of corruptible seed, but by the
Word of God. This is the Word, this is the
Word which by the Gospel is preached unto you. The Gospel preached.
Spirit of God takes the Word of God, which is what? What's the Word? Crying. What
did He say in the next chapter? He's going to deal with a woman
who came to a well to get water. Who's waiting on her? Water. Water's waiting on her. And she
never did dip in that well. And boy, she found salvation
in the one sitting on the well. He said, the water that I give
you, be in you, the Word of God. He's born of the Word of God,
which is Christ, the water of life, and the water and the Spirit. And listen to this. This is wonderful.
1 John 5 says this. You know, when our Lord was crucified,
Nicodemus saw this. He saw this. John saw it. He
said, I bear record this happened. A soldier came by with a spear
and pierced his side, and out came water and blood. Nicodemus
saw this, and he remembered. That night, except a man be born
of water and a spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. And
listen to this, 1 John 5 says there are three that bear record. 1 John 5, get to it, says there
are three that bear record. This is He that came by water
and blood. Jesus Christ. Not by water only. That is the Word. The Word was
made flesh. But by water and blood. It's
the Spirit that beareth witness. Of who? Of what? Christ in the
Word. Spirit of truth. There are three
that bear record in heaven. The Father, the Word, and the
Holy Ghost. These three are one. And there are three that beareth
witness in the earth. The Spirit, the water, and the
blood. And these three are one. One
person. His work. The Lord Jesus Christ. The water of life. Water and
blood. Sanctification. Justification. Redemption by His blood. God. Flesh. Water. Blood. That's how we're born. Born of
God. We see Christ and Him crucified.
And I really do believe that Nicodemus saw Him hanging on
that cross and Joseph and Arimathea. And Nicodemus is thinking back
to what he said. And I believe right then and
there, He's born again. I see. I understand. Now I know that's not just a
man, like the thief on the cross, who's hanging there, seeing,
and he looked, all of a sudden, His eyes are open. This One hanging
on the cross is the Lord of Glory, the King of Glory coming to His
Kingdom. And Nicodemus saw the same thing. I see, I see, I see. He that seeth the Son and believeth
on Him hath everlasting life. Born again. I see. Now I know
what he was saying. Now I know what he was saying.
As the Son, he that hath the Son hath life. Nicodemus thought
he kept the law, he thought in them he had life, but they are
they which testify of Christ. Now he's sick. Nicodemus could
quote like Saul of Tarsus all these Old Testament scriptures.
Now he's seen that all things must be fulfilled written in
the scriptures concerning him. That's him. That's the book. That's the Lamb. That's the Christ.
That's the Son of God. That's the Holy One of Israel.
That's Emmanuel. That's redemption. That's the
blood of atonement. That's my salvation. And that's when he confessed
it. And you won't confess it. And you haven't been born again
until you see Him. Alright? So, our Lord said to
him in verse 6, that which is flesh is flesh. Now, whatever
is born to us, children, are just like us, aren't they? Just
like us. natural, and dead in sin. The Lord had to reveal himself
to my father and my mother, had to reveal himself to my sibling,
had to reveal himself to me, he has to, we're all born dead
in first place. But that which is a spirit, spirit
quickening, flesh propagating, flesh, and all this is a commentary and indictment against
fleshly religion. See, true worshippers worship
God in spirit, rejoice in Jesus Christ. That's how you know the
Spirit has come, the Spirit of God. They're born of the Spirit
because they rejoice in Christ. Right? You understand that? A
Spirit-filled church and people, they're rejoicing in Jesus Christ,
who He is, what He's done. Nothing else. Not rejoicing in
the choir. But in the Christ, no confidence
in the flesh. No flesh. Get it out. We don't
need it. It's a hindrance. It's in the
way. You've got to see, the less flesh
you have, the better. No props. This is, they're born of God,
don't need Flesh, we worship in spirit and truth, the word,
Christ's truth. Flesh is flesh, the spirit, spirit
is something completely different. And you know this, whatever is
born of the flesh will die. Whatever's flesh, it's flesh
and it's going to die. If a profession of faith was
brought on by some kind of fleshly feeling and excitement and all
of that, the choir sang softly and you just had this feeling
and you just came running down front and you accepted Jesus,
it'll die. It won't last. Know that. But
that which is born of the Spirit, whatsoever God doeth shall be
for ever. Spirit quickeneth to live forever. What God has
done. All right? And he said to him, condemned
him, said, Are you a master? How? How can these things be?
He said, Are you a master? Are you a teacher in Israel and
don't know these things? Oh, how many? Masters of divinity. My, my,
my, my. Got God mastered? Doctor of divinity. Oh, you really got your doctorate
now. Oh, you're an idiot. Don't know these things? What
things? Fundamentals of the faith? Foundation? of the faith, you
know what the foundation is? Christ. What's everything else?
Christ. Christ is all. Everything built
on Him, everything rests on Him, everything depends on Him, everything
given to Him, everything controlled by Him, everything's in Him,
we're accepted by, in Him, everything's of Him, through Him, to Him,
for Him. Kingdom, everything about it, all people, all fullness,
all salvation, all life, all wisdom, righteousness, sanctification,
redemption. Name something. Christ is all. You don't know this. If you don't
start, if the foundation is not laid, and other foundations can
no man lay than that which is laid. What? Jesus Christ. Second Adam. Sure foundation. Chief cornerstone. All built
on him, depends on him. All God's people, he said in
John 6, are taught of God. They're all taught. They know
these things. You know, they could teach others. Our children
could teach these masters of divinity. Yes, they could. Our
young girls right back there could teach these cemetery professors
the truth, where it starts. Every one of them. Yes, they
could. You're teaching other people.
You don't even know where to begin. As we say, you don't have
a clue. All right. And he said, went
on to say, I love this, we speak that we know. Remember the next
chapter. You don't know what you believe.
We know. Who's we? Who's speaking here? God, Father, Son, Holy Spirit,
we know. The prophets, the apostles, the
true pastor and teacher, we know. We know. The Son of God has given
us an understanding. We know these things. We know. We speak that which we know.
We testify what we've seen. And you don't receive it. I've
told you earthly things you believe not. How shall you believe if
I tell you heavenly things? All right, here's the question. Are you born again? Are you born
of God? Well, I've already given you
one evidence, but let me give you them again. The gospel is
the power of God. That's what He uses. Nobody's
been born of God if they didn't hear the gospel preached. There's not one single account
in all of scripture of anybody born again, saved, without hearing
a preacher preach the gospel. Not another gospel. You aren't
saved under this Armenian gospel. No, no, no, that's not the gospel. The gospel is the power of God
unto salvation. And what happens is if you were
made a profession under false religion and believed on some
Jesus or just a portion of the gospel, when you finally hear
the gospel and you believe and you look to Christ, now you're
born again. It's like the first birth. When
did you realize you were born again? Born the first time. When did you realize? Can you
remember? Can you give the dates? Well,
what's wrong with you? None of us can. When did it happen? The seed was sown. That's what
he's talking about, the Spirit bloweth where it lifteth. The
seed is sown. And, you know, it's sown. And
this is what my hope is for many of our children and grandchildren
and lost spouses and all that who heard the gospel. They, many
have heard the gospel, and I'm hoping that the wind will blow. The Holy Spirit. And in time
will bring them back. They're going to have to come
back and hear that gospel and water and... It happened to me. That's what
happened to me. Because the life is in the Word. And it's the
truth. Alright? So the gospel comes. When it's planted, we don't know.
But it comes eventually, finally in power in the Holy Ghost, who
gives life, who quickens. You have to be quickened who
were dead. Those who were dead are now alive. Those who never
gave a thought to God now are thinking about God. Those who
were blind, couldn't see themselves, couldn't see the pit they were
in, couldn't see what they were doing to themselves, doing to
other people, couldn't see, didn't care. But God now said, look
at me like that mirror. Word, hear it. Oh, wretched man
that I am. Who shall deliver me? The deaf,
he said, shall hear my voice. I hear the truth. Before you
had no appetite. Now you hunger and thirst. Before
you had no pain, no problem. Now you got nothing but pain
over yourself and in this world. I've told you many times about
our child being born. She didn't exist until the father
and the mother got together and gave her life. God gave her life. Until the seed was planted, she
didn't exist. Until she was given birth, someone
prevailed in birth to bring her into this world. She didn't exist.
Until she was given eyes to see and heart, she didn't exist. And the first thing that happened
to her when she was born is pain. She'd never felt it before. She's
in that womb, and everything's just wonderful. In darkness,
water. All of a sudden, forced out of
this world. Pain. What happened? What'd she
do? First thing, cry. Call. She'd never cried before. Didn't have any pain. Nothing
to give her pain. Now she's out in this world.
She's crying. She's calling. You know what
happened? I took her in my arms. I heard
her cry. And I took her in my arm. Okay? And she's filthy. Child is covered
in its own blood. Like that child in the field.
Because she had blood and mucus and all that all over her. You
know what I did? I took her in my arm. I took her over in a
basin of water. And I dipped her and began to
wash her thoroughly from her fields. Okay? And you know what? Then I start speaking to her.
It's okay. It's okay. Hannah. We'd already
named her long before she was born. Hannah, it's me, your dad,
your mom. It's okay, Hannah. You know what
she did? Eyes open. You know who she saw? Me. Heard
my voice. I wrapped her up in warm clothes. Swaddled her in warm clothes.
And I took her over and gave her a bath. Here's our child.
Why? Who? How? She had nothing to do with it.
Is she alive? Are you? Have you heard his voice? Have you seen God in the face
of Jesus Christ? The glory of God in the face
of Jesus Christ? Are you cold? Do you need warming?
Are you dirty? Do you need washing? And the
next thing, milk. She's alive, how do you know?
She's hungry. And one thing will satisfy her. One thing. Have you been born
again? I think I have. Don't you, sir?
I think I have. Of God. Okay. Brother John, you
can come.
