Put Away The Idols & Restore The Altar
2 Chronicles 15:8
God said of Judah's king Asa, that 'he did that which was good and right in the eyes of the Lord his God: For he TOOK AWAY THE ALTARS OF THE STRANGE gods, AND THE HIGH PLACES, AND BRAKE DOWN THE IMAGES (statues), AND CUT DOWN THE GROVES.
Now more than ever, we need to do as Asa. For, like Israel, this nation which professes the name of the God of Israel, and professes the name of Christ, is in fact full of IDOLATRY! Time to put down and stamp out idolatry and restore the true worship of the living and true God. Time to do as Asa . . . time to RENEW THE ALTAR OF THE LORD.
