I enjoy that. All right, let's
go back to Psalm 145. Psalm 145. Every time we meet together here as a body, as assembly,
We meet to worship God. That's what this is all about.
That's why we come to this place. Worship means to extol, honor,
praise, give thanks to, adore, give glory to God. That's what
worship means. And everyone in here should worship God, from our children
on up. Everyone in here has reason,
great reason, to worship God. That's why we're here. This is
not duty or habit. This is a privilege, an honor,
but it's our reasonable service to devote just a short time each
week to publicly get together and lift our voices in song and listen to what all our God is
and has done for us and give him thanks for it. That's what
worship is all about. That's why we're here. We're
here to worship. The Apostle said, we are the true people
of God which worship God. I know a lot goes on today called
worship. much is passed off as worship
today through great emotional this and that and the other,
enthusiasm and stirring speeches and so forth. I know that. But
true worship. Our Lord said in John 4, true
worshipers worship the Father in spirit, that is, from the
heart, not with the hands, not with all outward show. but with
the inward man in truth. That means, as we look at God's
Word, which is the truth, the Word of truth, we look at it,
and God shows us who He is from His Word, and what He's done
for us in Christ, the gospel of truth. And this makes us worship. Raise him up, extol. Look at
verse 1. It says, I will extol thee, my God, O King. Extol means
to raise up, to exalt, to give the highest place. Now, I know
many say that, don't they? Many say that today. Oh, but
God's true people, like David, man after God's own heart, they
really do. God truly does have the highest
honor. All the honor. Not some of it.
All of it. All the honor. Extol. He says,
I'll bless thy name forever and ever. His name? It's wonderful. Counselor. Mighty God. The everlasting Father. The Prince
of Peace. Bless. The word bless means to kneel
in adoration. To adore. To adore. My pastor once gave this illustration.
If you want to see something of adoration, look in the eyes
of a mother as she looks down at her baby. Or, better yet,
a grandfather as he looks at his little granddaughter, Mike. And this song, David, it's all
about God. Everything he says is who God
is and what God has done. And how that he ends it up in
verse one, he said, I'll bless your name forever. The last verse
says all flesh ought to. In Psalm 150, I believe it is
said, let everything that hath breath. All the time, let everything
that hath breath. All flesh should. This building
ought to be full of people. Every building that calls itself
a place of worship ought to be full of people. Worshipping God. Blessing God. Adoring God. Because we're going to see what
all He's done for us. Verse 2, Every day will I bless
thee. Every day, He said. We have reason
to, don't we? We woke up. We're breathing. The preacher says his mercies
are new every morning. His compassions, they fail not.
New every morning. Fresh day. New day. Clean slate,
Stephen. Clean slate. Oh, I'll start today
worshiping him, Shane. Every day, I'll bless thee. I
will praise thy name forever. Thy name, as we already said,
God, Creator, Lord, Master, Redeemer. His name, the great high priest,
advocate, intercessor, Savior, His name. Keep going. He ought
to praise His name. I will, David said, I will. Men
cuss with it. Foolish human beings use His
name only to curse with. Oh, God's people said, I'm going
to bless that name. By God's grace, I'm going to
bless that name. Verse 3, Great is the Lord, greatly
to be praised. I thought when Brother Mike was
playing that, I thought, Scripture says, whatever your hand finds
to do, do it with all your might. That's the way you ought to be
praised. We ought to sing that way. I tell you, the greatest sinner
in here ought to sing the loudest. Yes, sir. Great, great, greatly
to be praised. How great is it? He says it's
unsearchable. It's unsearchable. Unsearchable is great. Verse
four, he says, One generation shall praise thy works to another
and shall declare thy mighty act. One generation, the regenerate,
that is, shall praise you. Adam, I know Adam praised the
Lord and told of his God to his offspring, to Abel and on down.
Enoch knew Adam. I know he praised, told Enoch
about the garden and all that the Lord had done for him, and
Adam's foolishness and so forth, and sin against such greatness
and goodness and all that. And Enoch, Enoch in turn, told
it to Noah. He had a great, great, great,
great, great, great grandson named Noah and had sat on his knee,
and Enoch said, told him all about the Lord's greatness. And
one day, Enoch was just gone. Noah, he told it to his great,
great, great, great, great grandson, Abraham or somebody. Abraham
told it to Jacob. Jacob told it to Joseph. Joseph
told it to David. David told it to Peter. Peter
told it to me. And on and on and on. Every generation,
God's people. His majesty, verse 5, he said,
I will speak of the glorious honor of thy majesty and of thy
wondrous work. His Majesty, His Highness. You
know, if you have a King James Bible in front of it, you probably
have a dedication to King James. Have you ever read that? If you
do, you'll tear it out of there. I did. It's almost blasphemy. It talks about this earthly king
and his highness and so forth. It's just horrible. But now,
if you would attribute all of it that they said to the king,
the king, it's worth keeping and thinking about. I thought about this, His Majesty. They call the Queen of England,
Her Majesty. They call everything by that
name, HMS, Her Majesty's ship. such and such. She doesn't have
any majesty. She's got a little glass crown
on top of her head, and she's a mere figurehead. She doesn't
reign over anybody. They used to, but not anymore.
Just a figurehead. But there's someone that does
reign. There is a king, truly, but one
king. King of kings and Lord of lords. Would you have liked to have
known Solomon Would you have liked to have met David? Would you? I would. I would have
loved to have lived in Solomon's day under his reign, I think.
I would have liked to have known Solomon, though, wouldn't you?
Wouldn't you have liked to have been like the Queen of Sheba and gone to
visit him and ask him questions like she did? What all she saw. I love that story. What all Sheba
saw. Solomon's greatness, his table,
his cupbearers, the way Solomon ascended. There's a greater than
Solomon, a greater than Solomon, his majesty. Solomon's majesty
pales in comparison to the Lord Jesus Christ. We're going to
see. We're going to be there. I can't wait. I can't wait to
see his glory. my king, and behold him. Wondrous
works, it says in verse five. The wonder of his works. The
wonder of his works. Does God's creation still make
you wonder? Or does it fill you with wonder?
I know some of you have been out west and seen Montana and
Wyoming and places like that and the Rockies and on and on. over in Europe, God's creation
is marvelous. You don't have to go that far.
Just wake up in Franklin County and look at these mountains.
Every sunrise is amazing, a marvelous thing, God's creation. But, you know, there's something
that is more marvelous than that. Psalm 19 talks about two books
of God's glory, the first being creation, and everybody all marveling.
But the most marvelous thing of all is this right here. The wonder of wonders is God's
work is wondrous works, if you have this is the reason I like
the King James Bible. It has references to words in
it. Center references. Do you have
it there? It says thy wondrous In the middle it says, things
or words. David in Psalm 119 said, Lord,
open my eyes that I might behold wondrous things from thy word,
from thy law. Wondrous things. Things I see
from God's word give me so much more wonder, fill me with more
wonder than even God's grace. Well, verse 6, he says, Men shall
speak of the might of thy terrible acts. Men shall speak of the
might of thy terrible act. Moses could tell us some stories,
couldn't he? He did. He wrote it down about
that Red Sea party. Would you be telling people about
that if you were there? How long would you be telling
that story? or the burning bush or the smitten
rock or the cloud, fiery pillar, all of that. Peter, James and
John, they were up on the mountain that day when the Lord was transfigured. And they had to tell it. Well,
I will too. I can tell you something of His
amazing acts in my life. Can you? Can you tell something
of what The Lord has amazingly done in your life. Miracles of
children of Israel were sustained by miracle after miracle after
miracle, weren't they? It was obvious. You read the
story of the children of Israel, how miraculously they were sustained. We have been no less sustained
by less miracles. You know, you look back, look
at the miracle of God's Providence in your life. Amazing. Well,
verse 7 says, It shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great
goodness. How good has God been to you?
I'm looking at you and I know you. Some of you have known a
long, long time. The Lord's been real good to
you. Real good to you. And me too. How good has He been? real good. They shall abundantly
utter, continually utter, the memory of thy great goodness,
and shall sing of thy righteousness. Righteousness. You know, the
word right is the root of righteousness. Right is righteousness. How that God, everything God
has done is right. Now to verse 17, look there.
The Lord is righteous in all His way. As you know, someday we're going
to know as we've been known, Scripture said. Someday God's
people are going to know everything just like God knows. That's what
Scripture says. We'll know even as we've been
known. We'll see clearly. Not through
a glass dimly, not in part, but we'll know as He knows. And we're going to look back.
I honestly believe the Lord is going to Well, we know as we
know, we'll know everything that transpired. We'll know why. And we're going to see what all
the Lord has done. And we're going to see and we're
going to declare and we're going to be utterly amazed and praise
him and extol him to see that everything he did was right. We puny little poor, ignorant
little creatures that we are, you know, thinking, oh, why is
this wrong thing happening to me? How could this happen? And we don't see. And we don't
realize. We don't take into consideration.
Our God, Father, knows best. And it was at Abraham, it says,
Shall not the judge of the earth do right? God is incapable of
doing wrong. You understand? God is incapable
of doing wrong, of doing evil, of an injustice, of giving something
that is not needed or not deserved. Incapable. Everything I do has
something wrong in it. Every decision, not God. He's
right. He's righteous in all His ways. Righteous. Shall not the judge
of the earth do right? Yes. He's righteous. And they'll
sing of thy righteousness. If we're not doing it now, we
will someday. We'll be so glad. So glad that
he did everything exactly like he did it. Exactly. We'll look back. Verse 8 says,
The Lord is gracious. You know, I really wanted to
just skip down through these verses and get to verse 17 and
deal with the last five verses. I was just going to skip through
here. The Lord is gracious. How much time can we spend here?
Anybody want to talk about the Lord's graciousness? Could I
give you the floor right now? Could you tell something? Anybody? Grace means gift. The Lord is
gracious. Grace means gift, means giving. What do we have? 1 Corinthians
4, 7 says, What do we have that we have not received? Can anybody come up here and
say something about God's grace to them? Everything you have. Every breath we breathe. The
clothes we're wearing just grew somewhere. The water we drink,
the homes we live in, huh? So, no, I worked it. He gave
you your job. He gave you the strength. It's all a gift. The Lord is
gracious. And He keeps giving. He keeps
giving. He keeps giving. He keeps giving. I told them, you know, you love
to do things for your children, don't you? You love to. You don't
do it because you have to. You do it because you love them.
You truly delight in doing things for them. You'd much rather give
to them than receive from them, wouldn't you? Is that right,
Perry? Sure it is. We'll go out to eat sometimes,
and I'll just insist that Gabe and Hannah go out. If I have
the money, I insist on paying for it. And I know, Gabe, I was
a young man growing up with a wife and wanted to provide for my
own and all that, and feel a little bit, you know, pride in what... No, that's not the point. You
see, a parent wants to give, delights to give. To this day,
my dad is approaching 80 years old, and I'm nearly 50. To this
day, if we go out to eat, he will not let me pay for it. Never. Never. I almost had to knock
him over the head if it has to be Father's Day or something. That's just the way it is. He
loves to give. You love to give to those that you love, don't
you? And he doesn't need anything
from me. I don't need anything from them. But, boy, I love to
give. Well, he'd give it. What about
our Heavenly Father today? What can we give to Him? What
can we give to Him? Nothing. All that he gives, he
delights to give, and giveth and giveth more grace. He's gracious. I could stay here all day, folks.
Stay right here all day. Grace, he giveth everything needful
for life, eternal life, righteousness, free pardon, and this life, he giveth and
giveth and giveth. And yet, doesn't upbraid when
you waste what he gave you. I remember back to my past. Steven,
you could tell about this. Dad bailing you out a time or
two, you know. And you just blew it, what he
gave you. Did something foolish with it.
He didn't upbraid you. He didn't quit giving, did he?
No, no. Our God is gracious. He giveth
and giveth and giveth more grace. More grace. Give it. Read on. He says he's full of
compassion. Oh, I just want to skip over
this, Nancy. Full of compassion. What does
compassion mean? Tender, kindness. Compassion means understanding,
feeling. Feeling. Knowing where someone
is and dealing with them accordingly. Intendness. Full of compassion. He knows
our frame. Doesn't expect too much. The
grandparents I've been talking about don't expect too much out
of little children. They know what they are. They
know their frame. Our God. Full of compassion. Full of compassion. Slow to anger. Aren't you glad? You got a reason
to praise God this morning, to thank God, this God right here.
Slow to anger. I'm not. That's my daughter. I haven't been slow to anger. I've been pretty quick to it. God's slow to anger. What's it
take to make Him angry? Well, you know, I haven't really
seen it yet. It's amazing. It's amazing. I've given him every reason to
be, haven't you? Just like the children of it
provoked him, provoked him, provoked him to his face. Thank God. Praise God. Worship God. Be slow to anger. Old Brother
Barnard used to say, Y'all better be glad I'm not God. Me too. If I'd have seen a young rebel
like me when a teenager, a young boy in his twenties, if I'd have
seen me, I'd have snuffed me out in a heartbeat. I would have. I'd have killed me in a moment,
you ungrateful rebel. Oh, thank God he's slow to anger.
Thank God he's slow to anger. Great mercy. Great mercy. Great mercy. I'm a great sinner. How about you? I need great mercy. God's great mercy. He shows it
to the chief of sinners. He showed that our Lord's last
act of salvation while he's on this earth. Hanging on the cross, suffering
indescribably in indescribable pain. Anyone ever had a time
when they could have felt self-pity, it would have been the Lord hanging
on the cross, enduring what He didn't deserve, going through
pain indescribable, which none of us will ever endure. Hanging
there on the cross. Yet, here hangs an old murderer,
a killer, and a thief, a man who's lived, a scum of the earth. You'd want this man dead. This
is a man that killed somebody you knew and robbed. Filthy,
vile fellow. Yet, the Lord looks on that man in mercy. And since today, you'll be with
me in paradise. How merciful is he? Last act. chief of sinners, the worst of
the worst. I'm taking him in the glory with me. Oh, that's
great mercy. His mercy, great mercy. The Lord
is good, read on, is good to all, and everyone is a recipient
of God's goodness. And it says, all thy works, his tender mercies
are over all his works. You know, God causes the rain
to fall on the unjust. There's men out there right now
picking up their hay who don't give God a thought. The very
hay that God grew for them, they didn't grow it. Ask them about
it a couple of years ago when there was a drought. Next time somebody says something
about the rain to you, complains about it or whatever, or says
anything about it, you say this to them. Really comes out of that. Oh,
His tender mercies are over all His works. All the works shall
praise Thee, verse 10. They do. We don't hear it, but
they do. Some of us do. We hear it. Go
out and stand by the ocean. You hear those waves? Day in, day out. Twenty-four
hours a day. Three hundred and sixty-five days a year. Thousands
of years of waves. What are they saying? God has raised mercy's spare.
Here the two, they come and no further. God is powerful. Oh, the ways, the power of God's

foot wave, wipe out one major city. Huh? Wipe it out. Mankind? Who's holding me back? I'll be thanking God. He's coming

inclement the weather, ten below zero, you'll go outside and you'll What you got to sing about? Huh? Less than you do. Singing. Oh, that works praising. They
do. Singing is praising. I'll read
on. It says the saints, oh, they
bless him. They always do, always will.
What's the subject of the saints? What do they love to bless the
Lord for? Verse 11 and 12. They speak of the glory of his
kingdom. They talk of his power. They make known to the sons of
men his mighty act, the glorious majesty of his kingdom. The thing
which the saints delight more than anything in and gives them
greatest sense of wonder is the gospel kingdom. Let me just tell
you a little bit about it. The God of heaven is a It's the following. He had one
son, one son, who dwelt with him for billions of years before
the world was created. Zillion, it happened, it perfectly
happened. Eternity passed. He met with his son, loved his
son so much. He didn't need anything or anybody.
God didn't create this world because he needed anything or
anybody. The name God means that, self-sufficient, all-content
one. He and his son, the Holy Spirit,
together now. Good God. Purpose. Made a purpose that
he was going to create a world, going to create a planet, and
put creatures on it, creatures and things in the world, and
so forth. And the whole purpose of all
of this Because he, like Harvard used to say, God looked at his
son one day and decided, I'm going to make a whole bunch of
boys just like him. I love him so much, I'm going
to create a whole race of people just like him, just like him. And God Almighty, as a father
to his son, wanted the honor and the glory, desired the honor
and the glory and purpose, the honor and glory of his son. purpose
that there be a, we call it a marriage, a marriage, that he have a bride,
a wife, and there's nothing more enjoyable to mankind here on
this planet than that. That marriage is a wonderful
thing, if you've got a good mate. God Almighty purposed to have
a bride, a wife, for his son whom he dearly loved. And so
he created this and the time went on and chose a people to
be wedded to, married to his son, to be called his church,
to be called his bride. And in the end, when it's all
over, when God is finished bringing in all of these elect, all of
God's bride, all of his people, and he's going to fold this earth
up, he's through with it, through with it. Everything in it brought
him glory, everything in it. He came to the earth. He did
what he did to save his people. He's going to fold it all up,
and in the end, when it's all over, it's going to be a huge
celebration. Do y'all like celebrations? I don't much like weddings. You should know why I don't like
them. Brother David Pledger made a few words. Todd Nyberg
called him recently and said something to him about a wedding,
and that somebody called Todd and asked him to marry him. And Todd said, no, I only marry
folks in the church. And the fellow said, I'll give
you, we'll pay you $700 to do it. And Todd still said no. That's a true priest. Well, he
was telling Brother David that, and David said, you know, oftentimes
I'd give $700 to get out of the wedding. I'd just about give $700. A woman
called me one time and asked me to marry her, and I said,
no. She said, let me try to explain it to you. I don't even like
to go to weddings, much less perform them. She said, oh, I
think I understand. But now, I do like receptions. I do like receptions, don't you?
Eating and drinking and dancing Everybody in good mood, even
the preacher. Eternity, the marriage supper
of the Lamb. God made this marriage of His
Son, His Bride, an eternal reception, never ending. Never ending. It never ends. The happiness, the enjoyment,
the celebration never ends. We can't, you can't, you can't
rejoice over that because you can't, you can't enter into it.
But that's the way it is for eternity. Never ending. His kingdom,
his kingdom. That's what we're talking about. It's everlasting. Verse 13 says
it's everlasting. And he put me in that kingdom.
Here's the most amazing thing of all, is that I'm going to
be given a seat in that kingdom. I always bring up old Mephibosheth
because I just feel like I am Mephibosheth.
Mephibosheth, the last thing he said to David was, Who am
I that you should bring such a dead dog as me to be here sitting
at your table? Kelly, that's what we're going
to be saying throughout eternity as we're sitting at the table
of the King in that great reception. There's Moses and Abraham and
Elijah and Paul. Here am I. We'll be there. That's what all the saints marvel
at more than anything else, that He's included us in that kingdom. Oh, boy. Imagine that. We have
to imagine it. Verse 13 says, Thy kingdom is
everlasting and endureth throughout all generations. He has a people
out of every generation. The Lord upholdeth all that fall.
The Lord upholdeth all that fall. You say, I'm not going to be
there. I may not make it. I'm not going to make it there. I'm
such a... I don't know. The Lord upholdeth all that fall.
No, you weren't put in that kingdom because you deserved to be there.
You're not going to get there because you got there. Because
He said you would be there. Because He promised you'd be
there. And He promised to keep you. He said, I go to prepare
a place for you. Not, I'm going to build a foundation,
and you bring your bricks, and I'm going to prepare a place
for you. There's a spot reserved for you. Scripture talks about
those who are prepared, those who have a reservation waiting
on them. My, my. The Lord upholdeth all
that fall. He raiseth up all that be bowed
down. Oh, but I'm such a sinner. He's
going to raise you up from the dunghill. The eyes of all wait
upon thee. Thou givest them their meat in
due season. We're waiting, aren't we? Everything
in this planet waits on God. Man doesn't think he does, but
he does. He's waiting. He has to receive it from above.
But what we're waiting on more than anything else is the redemption
to wit, the redemption of our body. Waiting. Waiting. Verse 16, he says, God opens
his hand and satisfies the desire of every living thing. If his
eye is on the sparrow, it sure is on them. The Lord
is righteous in all his way. He's right, holy in all his works,
merciful, holy in all his works. The Lord is nigh unto all them
that call upon him. How often? every time they call. In truth, those that call upon
Him in truth, you see that? That is in Christ. Christ is the truth, is He not?
All those that call upon God in truth, God is nigh unto them. He'll hear their cry. I love
Psalm 104, 6, 7. It talks about the children of
Israel. How they sinned against God,
they forgot God, and so forth, and they got in trouble. Henry's
smiling right now. He loves that. And they called
unto God. They cried unto the Lord. Did
he hear them? Shouldn't have. He did. Every
time. And it goes on to say, oh, that
men would praise the Lord for His goodness and His wondrous
works to the children. If we've got reason, we cry,
we get in trouble, we forget Him. Call on Him again. Every time in Christ, in truth,
in Christ, this is important, OK? In Christ, Christ is our mediator,
Christ is our days, but our umpire, our advocate, the advocate, the
high priest. There is a high priest that we
go to. It's not in the so-called Catholic church. There are no
more priests, people. Don't anybody go. and confess
your sins to a mere mortal man. He's got sins of his own he can't
get rid of. But we go to our great high priest and we go to
him to go to God for us. Someday we'll be in the very
presence of God because we'll be holy without blame before
him in love. And until then we've got a high
priest we go to confess our sin and he's able to forgive us and
cleanse us. In Christ, we confess, we go
to God, we draw nigh to God in Christ, in truth. Call upon him. Let me give you an illustration.
I've lost most of you, but this will bring you back. I was sitting
in the study of Brother Nyberg years ago, a good fifteen years ago. Hannah
was just a small child. We've been going there for years,
and all the kids in that church know her, and they loved her. She was one of
their friends. Still is. Well, one day I was
sitting in Brother Nyberg's study by myself, getting ready to preach
that night, and I heard a voice at the door hollering Hannah! Hannah! I was looking down. I didn't pay much attention to
her. I thought the kids were out there hollering for Hannah,
you know. Hannah! Hannah! Kept hollering at her. Finally,
I looked up and a little boy was standing at the door hollering
at me. He didn't know me. He didn't
know my name. He just knew that somehow Hannah
and I were That was her father or something. He did not know
my name. He didn't know how to call me.
So he hollered, Hannah! And I said, what is it, son?
Come on in here. Yeah, I'm Hannah. I'm Hannah. I am. We're one, aren't we? Flesh
and blood. Want the Father's attention? Every sinner that hollers, Christ! Come on in. We'll draw nines
to you. Those that call upon Him and
pray. Every sinner! Now, some fellow stands before
God, dares to plead anything. Doesn't matter how good they've
been, how sincere they've been, what all they've been. Doesn't
matter! Give their bodies to be burned. Doesn't matter. He's not going to hear them.
But now it doesn't matter how bad that person's been. It doesn't matter how bad that person's
been if they stand before God and plead, Christ. Come on in, son. Come on in. I like that. Got your attention.
Got your attention. We call upon Him in Christ. He
will fulfill the desire of them that fear Him. You fear God. All of God's people still do.
They fear God. What's your desire? What is your
desire? What's your greatest desire? I want mercy. I want
grace. I want salvation. I want to be
there. I want to be in that number. I want to be the bride of Christ. It's yours. You'll also hear
their cry. How often? The Lord told the
disciples, you forgive those that trespass against you seventy
times seven. Peter and the boys thought, oh,
that's going to be hard. 490 times. Now, you know, he
didn't say that so that when they got to 490, they could quit. He didn't say that. What he was
saying was, you just keep on forgiving. What about the Lord? He never quits forgiving. Never. Never. The Lord preserveth all them
that love him. Preserveth them, kept by the
power of God through faith unto salvation, ready to be revealed
at the last time. But all the wicked, that's those
outside of Christ, that's those that actually, openly, wicked
will he destroy. Now, my mouth, he said, my mouth. shall speak the praise of the
Lord. I am ashamed that I lived so
long and using this mouth for nothing but utter filth. Aren't you? I'm ashamed of it. God should have smoked me on
the mouth. Closed my mouth. I'm ashamed of it. It's high
time we start using it for its true purpose. My mouth. While the world out there is
grumbling, groaning, cussing God, they don't, I don't openly
hear it, but they're grumbling and complaining. It's cussing
God. My mouth. By God's grace, my mouth. Say
something good. Say something for His glory.
say something for his honor before the world. Let all flesh, all
flesh should, bless his name. Everybody has reason to. Everybody. All right, let's sing a closing
hymn of praise. Brother Dave, what number?
About Paul Mahan
Paul Mahan has been pastor of Central Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, Virginia since 1989; preaching the Gospel of God's Sovereign Grace.
Pristine Grace functions as a digital library of preaching and teaching from many different men and ministries. I maintain a broad collection for research, study, and listening, and the presence of any preacher or message here should not be taken as a blanket endorsement of every doctrinal position expressed.
I publish my own convictions openly and without hesitation throughout this site and in my own preaching and writing. This archive is not a denominational clearinghouse. My aim in maintaining it is to preserve historic and contemporary preaching, encourage careful study, and above all direct readers and listeners to the person and work of Christ.
