We're going to turn to the book
of Judges chapter 4. Judges chapter 4. Before we read
any of Judges chapter 4, though, I do need to go back just to
the last verse of Judges chapter 3, and it tells us in that passage
of scripture, And after him was Shamgar the son of Anath, with
which he slew the Philistines, 600 men with an ox goat, and
he also delivered Israel. And then it tells us there in
verse 30, so Moab was subdued that day under the hand of Israel,
and the land had rest 80 years, four score years. And then we
come to verse four, or verse one of chapter four, And it says,
and the children of Israel again did evil in the sight of the
Lord when Ehud was dead. And the Lord sold them into the
land of Jabin king of Canaan that reigned in Hazor, the captain
of whose host was Sisera. which dwelt in Hersheth of the
Gentiles. And the children of Israel cried
unto the Lord, for he had nine hundred chariots of iron, and
twenty years he mightily oppressed the children of Israel. And Deborah,
a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time. And she dwelt under the palm
tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in Mount Ephraim,
And the children of Israel came up to her for judgment. And she
sent and called Barak the son of Adonai out of Kedesh Neftali,
and said unto him, Hath not the Lord God of Israel commanded,
saying, Go and draw toward Mount Tabor? and take with thee 10,000
men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulon. And I will draw unto thee to
the river of Chisholm and Sisera the captain of Jabin's army with
his chariots and with his multitude, and I will deliver him into thy
hand. Now, there's quite a bit left
of this chapter, and in chapter five, we find out that Deborah
was not just a prophetess, but she's a songwriter. And she's
been given the message that's found in chapter five. It says, and sang Deborah and
Barak, the son of Adonim, on that day saying. So praise the
Lord. So she is an important individual
here. We notice here that the children
of Israel again did sin in the eyes of the Lord. Now turn with
me back, if you would, to the book of Numbers chapter 14. I
just want to pick up a verse of scripture here that kind of
shares with us the precedent that we find here in this book. I have yet to find where man's
free will has led them higher, I find consistently that man's
free will will lead them lower. And that's what we find here
in the book of Judges, consistently that the children, and again,
the children of Israel, even with a blessing of 80 years of
prosperity, with being blessed for 80 years. They were not being
oppressed during that time. They were able to do their thing,
and by and large, most of them did their thing by worshiping
false idols. or false deity. So going back
here to the book of Numbers chapter 14, we find that the Lord summed
up those many years of wandering in the wilderness, the history
of Israel. You know, when we look over there
in the book of Acts at Stephen, he just sums up the history of
Israel for descendants of Israel and said, our fathers couldn't
obey God. All right, here in the book of
Numbers chapter 14 verse 22, because all those men which have
seen my glory and my miracles, two substantially large words
when it comes to what they involve. have seen my glory and my miracles. Those are weighty words. Those
are big words. Those are mighty words when it
comes to God. Have seen my glory and my miracles,
which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted
me now these ten times, and have not hearkened unto my voice.
This is a statement that God has made with regard to Israel,
the children of Israel. He's not writing here. He's not
declaring a problem with the Hittites. He's talking about
a problem with the people that he has had the closest contact
with, has led them carefully and distinctly through the wilderness.
And we find out that 10 times they rebel against the Lord.
Well, we get to the book of Judges. We're going to have at least
that and probably more rebelling because we're going to have 12
different judges ruling here in this book. So the Lord makes
that statement. He makes that stipulation. And
as we read Sunday over there in the book of Deuteronomy, I
did not give you a heart to believe. Now those he did had a different
attitude towards God. I've mentioned this, it's just
astounding to follow Joshua and Caleb. They got stuck with 38
more years of wandering, but I don't hear any word out of
them. They just said, the Lord's will be done. So they followed. Alright, we go back over here,
it tells us in Judges chapter 4, there in verse 3, it says, for he had 900, this guy, this
king had 900 chariots of iron. Now I was doing some reading
about this and there's a lot of surmising about what these
chariots of iron were, but some of the commentators said that
they were like we have seen in some of the movies, they had
those swords on the axles that they just go through and mow
down people and that could be exactly what we find here. And
they mightily oppressed the children of Israel for 20 years. They
had this tremendous power. You know, the chariot in its
day is the tank of today. It was, most people were on foot. Some were on horseback. But here
we have these chariots, they were the tank, and it says they
mightily oppressed the people with these things. They were
mightily oppressed for one reason. We find out that the Lord sold
them. Now, I don't know how you feel
about that, but the Bible is full of that kind of statement. The Lord sold them. This word is used a number of
times here in the book of Judges. If you look with me back in chapter
2, verse 14, we have that the Lord used this term as He has
the book of Judges written and we have it brought to our attention
In Judges chapter 2 and verse 14 it says, and the anger of
the Lord was hot against Israel, and he delivered them into the
hand of the spoilers that spoiled them, and he sold them into the
hands of their enemies round about. So the reason they are
where they are is because the Lord sold them. And that's his
prerogative. He is sharing with us, just as
much as he shared with them, that it is not the law that ever
changes the heart. If God is oppressive on people,
it's not going to change their heart. how thankful we are that
we read Old Testament and New Testament. It is the goodness
of God that leads us to repentance. It's not being beat by the Ten
Commandments. It's not being beat by moral
law. That is what God said you cannot
keep. It's a representation of my holiness,
and you cannot approach my holiness. But when it comes to salvation,
Be thankful that God's goodness leads us to repentance. His goodness
to provide the Savior, the Lord Jesus. His goodness to have a
people in mind before the foundation of the world, have names written
down, have them already represented before they were ever born for
centuries, generations. He has known his people and then
he provided that Savior, the Lord Jesus. So he does this to
share with us that even though he does this, it's not gonna
change their mind. It's not going to change their
heart. They're going to cry out, and most of the time, because
they're being oppressed. It's not because they have a
change of heart or change of mind. All right, as we look at
this again in chapter 3 and verse 8, we find the same word. Chapter
3 and verse 8, Therefore the anger of the Lord was hot against
Israel, and he sold him into the hand of Cushon Rishon Theum,
king of Mesopotamia. Brother Bill Parker says, just
pronounce it like you mean it, and people will say that's the
way to do it. So Mesopotamia, the children of Israel served
Kushneration with them eight years. So he sold them. He sold
them. You know, this word is used throughout
the scriptures in several places, but here in the book of Judges,
it's a number of times that he brings this up. Judges chapter
10 and verse seven, not stopping by again, Judges chapter four,
but in Judges chapter 12, excuse me, Judges chapter 10. Judges
chapter 10 and verse seven. Now, he has the right to do with
his as he sees fit. I was asked several questions
today and I said, those answers are above my pay grade. I cannot
answer why God does some of the things He does. That's not my
business. And then we were together, Mike and Gene and I, in that
verse of Scripture that the deep things, not the deep things,
there's the word, the secret things belong to God. The secret
things belong to God. But we relish and delight in
the things that have been revealed. What He has revealed to us. I
don't think that he has revealed a whole lot of the secret things
to us, but he has revealed more than we ever knew by ourself.
We didn't have any inclination, any thought about God until he
reveals, just as he shares with the apostle Peter, flesh and
blood did not reveal this unto you, but my father, which is
in heaven. So that revelation is able to confess thou art the
Christ, the son of the living God. That's a whole lot more
than we ever knew by nature. In fact, we know nothing by nature
except for enmity. Okay, here in the book of Judges
chapter 10 and verse seven, we read that, it says there, and
the anger of the Lord was hot against Israel and he sold him
into the hands of the Philistines and into the hands of the children
of Ammon. And we're gonna see this cycle.
This cycle, God is so long suffering, even with these rascals. He is
so long suffering that for 450 years, that's what we read over
in the book of Acts, is about the time of the judges. For 450
years, he was with them on their yo-yo run. He would sell them. they'd be oppressed, they'd cry
out, he'd hear, he'd send a judge, the judge would die, they went
back to their old lifestyle, and this is the next generation,
generally, or two generations later, generally. This is not
just the same people over and over, this is just the natural
extent of man's heart, not to worship God, but find everything
else to worship. In 1 Samuel, 1 Samuel, this is
a kind of a, restatement of the book of Judges, 1 Samuel chapter
12. In 1 Samuel chapter 12, we read
here in verse 9, 1 Samuel chapter 12 verse 9, these words that
God has given us about the condition of natural man. And thank God
He reveals to His people what we are by nature. And I've had
some interesting times with a comment that I made on Sunday about the
normal testimony of religious people as dotted with I. With I, I, I. And we read about
Paul's testimony, and it is always he, he, he. So it changes our whole complexion
about who we trust and who we look to for our salvation. Well,
here in the book of 1 Samuel chapter 12 and verse 9, it says,
and when they forgot the Lord their God, he sold them into
the hand of Sisera, captain of the hosts of Azor. and into the
hand of the Philistines and into the hand of the king of Moab,
and they fought against them. He sold them into bondage. He sold them into the slavery. And this just demonstrates to
us that whatever God does, if it isn't through the preaching
of the gospel and through his goodness and greatness and his
grace, nobody ever will be saved. There's not big enough stick.
And there's not a great enough carrot. It is all by grace. In the book of Proverbs, chapter
23, we have the opposite of this word sold, as it's used in the
context that we've read so far. Here in the book of the Proverbs,
it tells us to do something with the truth. Proverbs chapter 23
Proverbs chapter 23 and verse 23 we have these words written
for us and you know a lot of people look at the Proverbs it's
really nice things about how to live your life this book is
just like every other book the Lord Jesus Christ summed it up
there in the book of Luke when he used the term Psalms. Now if you look at that, it's
not in a capital P-S-A-L-M. It is small. And the Psalms cover
more than just the book of the Psalms. Proverbs is included
in that category. So he declared all the things
concerning himself in the book of Proverbs, in the book of the
Psalms Solomon, in the book of Job, in the book of the Psalms.
These that were These books that were metered, that were musical
in a sense. So here's another one, the Proverbs. In Proverbs chapter 23 and verse
23, we have this said, buy the truth and sell it not. Now that's the
same word that we read over there with regard to what God did with
the children of Israel. Now when he reveals the truth
to us, Sell it not. Don't get rid of it. Don't lose
sight of it. Don't give up on it. And you know, in reality,
we are given such grace that we can't. The truth is going
to be the truth. We're going to believe the truth.
We know that he is the way, the truth, and the life. But what
he has to say in his word, we are altered by his word. We are altered by what he had
to say in his word. We find out that our whole attitude
is altered by the word of God. Our whole being is altered by
the word of God. So buy the truth, sell it not,
as it tells us in Proverbs 23, 23. Also wisdom and instruction
and understanding. So these things that God gives
to us, buy them and sell them not. Attach yourself to them
and sell them not. You know this word was also used
over there with regard to our brother that was sold into slavery
by his 11 brothers. They sold him. Now we say, that's
a terrible thing to do. And it was. But we go over years later And
we have that soul brother looking back over all of those events
and he said, you meant it for evil. Now I don't understand. That's some of the deep things
of the Lord. It's above my pay grade. But you know what? Everything that took place with
Joseph was purposed by God, predestinated by God, and not just for Joseph, for everyone. And that's above
my pay grade. Why does He send sickness on
some and not others? Why does He save some and not
others? That's His business. He is a
God of grace to those He does save. In the book of the Psalms,
let's turn to Psalm 119. As we think about the events
that are going on in the book of Judges, in Psalm 119, we have
here in verse 75, I don't think I'll ever ask anybody
to read the entire Psalm 119 before the services because we'd
say amen and be dismissed. But it is an enjoyable passage
of scripture to read and if you look at it we find out it is
divided by the alphabet of the Hebrew language. The alphabet
is here. But as we look here in the book
of Psalms 119 verse 75 it says I know, O LORD, that thy judgments
are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me. Your judgments
are right. Now, it may be unexplainable,
but your judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness
hast afflicted me. What a statement that God has
allowed us to read here and how it can be applied to us. And
then, as we look at this, he sold them into the hand of Jabin,
king of Canaan. Now, yes, there's quite a story
here in this fourth chapter of the book of Judges. We have there, going back to
the book of Judges, if you would, Judges chapter four, Judges chapter
four, there in verse three, we read these words. And the children
of Israel cried unto the Lord, for he had nine hundred chariots
of iron, and twenty years he mightily oppressed the children
of Israel. And I look at this and I find
out just as we read with regard to Saul of Tarsus, the Apostle
Paul, long-suffering. I read this in the book of 1
Peter, the Lord is long-suffering to us-ward. There is going to
be in every one of those generations a people that God has chosen
from eternity to save by His grace. And that's why He just
didn't treat them like water and wipe them out. Well, there's
a verse of scripture Psalm 107, would you join me
there in Psalm 107? Psalm 107, verse, I want to read
verse six first. Psalm 107, verse six. Then they cried unto the Lord
in their trouble, and He delivered them out of their distresses. Now, I can't help but believe
that there were some among that number that when they cried out
to the Lord, it was from the heart, and it was just to get
rid of the nonsense. that as we read here, then I
cried to the Lord in their trouble. Now let's look at verse one.
Oh, give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good, for his mercy
endureth forever. And we've mentioned in the past,
mercy has to do with a problem that we have, sin. There's no
mercy. that we can ask God for if we
don't have a problem with Him. If we haven't done something
wrong against God, there's no reason for mercy. But great is
His mercy endureth forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord
say so, whom He hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy. and
gathered them out of the hands from the East and from the West
and from the North and from the South. You know, those that God
regenerates, God saves, as we have here, the redeemed, they're
able to say, as all of those folks that knew God, knew Christ,
knew the Messiah during these times, when everything bad was
going on, you know what they could do, just like Joshua and
Caleb would do? So, this is of the Lord. So, let the redeemed of the Lord
say so. And it's not like Sister Tilly,
when the preacher came into her hospital room and said, we're
just going to have to trust the Lord. The problem you have, doctors
can't do anything for, so we're just going to have to trust the
Lord. And she says, oh no, has it come to that? Let the redeemed
of the Lord say so. And they wandered in the wilderness
in a solitary way. They found no city to dwell in.
Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. Then they cried
unto the Lord in their trouble. And he delivered them out of
their distresses. And he led them forth by the
right hand, that they might go to the city of habitation. Oh,
that men would praise the Lord for his goodness and for his
wonderful works to the children of men. For he satisfies the
longing soul and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. What
spiritual blessings he has for his people, such as sit in the
darkness, in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and
iron, because they rebelled against the word of God and condemned
the counsel of the Most High. Therefore, he brought down their
heart with labor. They fell down. There was none
to help. Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble and
he saved them out of their distresses. He brought them out of darkness
and the shadow of death and break their bands asunder. What a statement
about his great salvation to sinners that have not loved him. He brought them out of the darkness
and in the shadow of death and break their bands of sin. Oh,
that men would praise the Lord for His goodness and for His
wonderful works to the children of men. What was it brought them
out? His grace. What was it gave them light?
His grace. It wasn't anything that they
had done. I had to admit today to young
men, yes, people can do some good things for their neighbor.
But if they're depending on those good things to get God's attention,
it's not going to work. Our good deeds will never attract
God, because our good deeds are only physical and they're never
spiritual. So if we help somebody out, and
then most of the time we do it, I tithe, I give, I send all of my Christmas presents
to the poor. Well, that's just the way it
goes in natural state. All right, and now there is a
verse that we turn to in the book of Lamentations. This was
read not too long ago, and sometimes we sing a song that this is all
about. here in the book of Lamentations
chapter 3. Lamentations chapter 3, beginning
with verse 22. As we think of what was going
on there among the children of Israel, and we're going to see
this over and over and over, as those folks did what was natural,
those folks did what was normal, those folks could do nothing
different than forget God and turn away and go off to idolatry,
and then we find that they cried unto the Lord, There was some
that actually were crying unto God because God had moved in
them to cry unto Him. Most of it was just we're in
a lot of pain here and things are not going well. Well, I'm
reading a book about a bunch of ships that have been sunk
off of Alaska. A guy found a bunch of survivors
and he wrote their story and put it in this book. It's interesting
how many of those had never prayed a prayer until they're out in
the cold waters of Alaska and their ship just sunk. And they
get real prayerful. I wonder if it ever stuck. Anyway,
okay, the Book of Lamentations, chapter three. Chapter three,
verse 22. It is of the Lord's mercies. that we are not consumed because His compassions fail
not. It is of the Lord's mercies that
we're not consumed. They are new every morning. Great
is Thy faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, saith
my soul, therefore will I hope in Him. The Lord is good unto
them that wait for him and to the soul that seeketh him. It
is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the
salvation of the Lord. What a statement. Great is thy
faithfulness. But he also says there in verse
22, it's the Lord's mercies that were not consumed because his
compassions fail not. He has a people that he has great
compassion for and they will go through deep waters. They
may be oppressed, the enemy may oppress them, but at the appointed
time, He will take them out of that and save them by His grace
if they belong to Him. One more time, God delivers the
children of Israel, and this time through Deborah and Barry.
It's interesting to run into a woman being a judge. I have
to tell you, because I want to go through several, here in the
time that I have left, I want to go through several very important
women that are described in the Scriptures. But I was at a meeting
one time, and I'm in the Gladhand line. You're asked to go to the
back of the building and people can shake your hands. Those who
don't want to, they go to the other side. Well, anyway, I'm
there and this guy comes up to me and says, I have a question
I'd like to ask you. I'd like to have lunch with you.
And you know, the first thing that comes into my mind is this
guy is upset about something his pastor has said, and he's
trying to find someone that will agree with him. So I said, okay. So I sat down with him, and his
question is this. What do you think about women
praying in church, Brother Norm? And my comment was, I hope the
women in my church are praying in church for me. That's my hope
that they're praying for me. What are you talking about? And
then he went off some line and I said, you know, you know the
pastor of this church much better than you know me. I go bring
this subject to him. But my feeling was women pray
in church all the time. Now, I may not ask them to pray
publicly or openly, But I ask you all to pray for me. Pray for the other speakers.
Pray for our services. Pray for our children. Pray for
our grandchildren. And we find that in the scriptures,
there are a number of most important women. And God used them. And here's one of them, Deborah.
And you know, she tells Barak, we're gonna get to this, not
tonight, but another time. She tells Barak, Don't you know
God's called you to do this? And get over there and take care
of business. And he says, if you don't go,
I won't go. Well, she was gracious enough
to say, OK. But this woman, she's raised
up, her name means Bee. B-E-E. And Dr. Hawker talked about it. She was
very industrious. She had a lot to do. And it tells us that she's judging
under a palm tree. She has people coming to her
and asking, what do I do? And you know what she did? Look
to Christ. Look to Christ. Look to Christ. He's the issue. Look to Christ. She did not have some great political
agenda. She said, I've been called by
grace. That's the only way God acts,
is by grace. All right, so let's just look
at this. I pray, ladies, pray for me. Pray for our body. Pray for our
tendons. Pray for our outreach. Men, too. But please, do that. You know,
we find in the first section of the Bible, there was a woman
by the name of Eve. And I find out something very
special about this woman. Now she's not held accountable
for what she did. That rascal husband, he knew
what he was doing. I was told today he didn't know
what he was doing. He knew what he was doing. He's not an idiot.
The Bible tells us he knew what he was doing. But there is something
about his wife. If you'll turn with me to Genesis
chapter 3. Genesis chapter 3. In verse 20, as we think of how God delivered
Israel during this period of time through this judge, through
Deborah and Barak. Alright, in Genesis chapter 3
verse 20, Genesis chapter 3 verse 20, it says, And Adam called
his wife's name Eve, because she was the mother of all living. What a special place that this
lady had. And I think he has a double thought
about living here. She is the mother of all living
human beings. Everyone can trace their line
back to her. But He also is sharing with us here that through her
is going to be Him who is our life. She is the mother of the
Messiah. Now if she was mistaken for a
moment, she thought that Cain was Him. I've gotten a man-child
from the Lord. The Lord answered my prayer really
quick. You know, and we think, boy, look at the mess that could
have been avoided if that had been true. But that's not what
happened. She understood that through her
there was going to be a Messiah. He is, she is going to be the
mother of all living. So she is right up there at the
very head of the line with her husband. She is not in the transgression. Adam was. She's not the responsible
party. Adam is. And it is in Adam all
died. In Eve, She's the mother of all
living. All right, let's look at another
one. Here in the book of Hebrews chapter 11, Hebrews chapter 11,
there's a lady by the name of Sarah. Hebrews chapter 11. As Deborah is called to her place
in her time, And she has nothing else to say than what we would
say the gospel. Nothing else. Christ is the issue. The Messiah is the issue. If
we get these people thrown out, that's good. But it's not going
to be the eternal issue. Alright, here in the book of
Hebrews chapter 11. The great chapter that speaks
about God's faith to his people. Faith is the gift of God. Faith
is a gift of God. It is a gift of regeneration. It is a result of regeneration. It is not something that we come
up with and then God regenerates us. And here in the book of Hebrews
chapter 11 verse 11 it says, Through faith, also Sarah herself
receives strength to conceive seed. Now the miracle of this
is she's 90 years old. She's past the age of having
children. And the Lord is gonna share with
us that I'm in charge of that. And she's gonna raise up a son
that we look as the seed. In Isaac thy seed shall be called. Not in that other guy. All right,
it says, through faith Sarah herself conceived strength to
conceive seed and was delivered of a child when she was past
age because she judged him faithful who had promised. Now I'm thankful
that we didn't go over to the Old Testament and read about
this because Sarah laughs about the word of God. You know, when
God gives us faith, we've been talking about Last Sunday and
this coming Sunday about, well, in the great doctrines of grace
is perseverance of the saints, but it's not our perseverance.
It's his perseverance in us. But all he did to take care of
our sin says by the blood of Christ, the eternal covenant,
he can forget our sin. He can bury it in the deepest
sea. He can throw it over his shoulder. He can make it as far
as the east is from the west. He can never bring it up again.
So there's where Sarah stands in grace. And so her faith is
talked about here in this passage of scripture. Now we're going
to read about Rachel. Oh my, quite a lady. And she had two boys. And you know, I don't know how
she felt when she found out that One was loved and the other was
hated. Secret things belonged to God. One was a character and the other
was not a character. One was a rascal and you know
it was the rascal that God showed grace to. It really was. It's amazing to me that Leah
is the one God used to bear Judah into this world. That wasn't
the favorite wife. Leah was given the privilege
of bearing Judah. She is in the line of the Lord
Jesus Christ and not the other three that Jacob married. That's an interesting thing.
Leah, it says that she was not as pretty She is more plain. You know what? Just talking about
the church. Didn't have the outward adornments,
but the church has the gifts of God. And then there's a lady
by the name of Tamar. She's listed in the list of those
who brought Christ into this world. And she's married to two
of Judah's sons. Like the law declared, one died,
she got another one. And then Judah promised her a
son or a husband. Never happened. Well, that rascally
rabbit does something so terrible and leaves his payment or his
walking stick there. And then he finds out his daughter-in-law
is pregnant. And he says, we're going to get
to the bottom of this. And we're going to take care
of that guy. And we're going to have him. And he said, who
was it? Whoever owns this. Can you just see him? And God
used her as an object of his grace. And she is in the line
of the Lord Jesus. Deborah, we're going to find
out about her a little bit. But these others, Tamar, we find
Jochebed. Who's Jochebed? Moses' mama. Miriam, Moses' sister, was put
into a tremendous line. She saw that her son was a proper
son and took care of him. Rahab, Ruth, Ruth the Moabitess, Rahab the
harlot, Tamar the harlot, all in all. So we have here Deborah
as our example. Let's go back to the book of
Judges for just a moment. Judges chapter 4. I have to tell you, in religion,
I found fault with God calling a woman to be a judge. But when he saved me, I said,
that's his business. That's his business. All right,
let's look here. And it tells us here about Deborah. Deborah, a prophetess, a songwriter. someone who loved God because
God first loved her. And she dwelt under the palm
tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in Mount Ephraim. And the children of Israel came
up to her for judgment. It's exactly what the rest of
those guys did. All the judges, they came to
those guys because they had been appointed. God raised up judges
and he raised this lady up And she sent and called Barak the
son of Abunim out of Kadesh Naphtali, and said unto him, Hath not the
Lord God of Israel commanded? It's interesting that sometimes
we need to be reminded what the Lord had to say and she reminds
this guy what he had said, go and draw toward Mount Tabor and
take with thee 10,000 men of the children of Naphtali and
of the children of Zebulon and I will draw unto thee to the
river Kishon-Sisera the captain of Jabin's army with his chariots
and with his multitude and I will deliver him into thy hand. Well,
the prophecy has been made, the declaration has been made, and
we're going to stop there and we'll pick up how it happened
in our next lesson. God used those people and God
delivered that message to that lady and she delivered it to
that man. Well, we're going to find out that as much as he wanted
to take care of Sisera, He's like us when it comes to our
sin, we can't do it. Someone else is gonna have to
take care of it and someone else did. Well, we'll stop there tonight
and we look forward to the next time that we can.
