and sing hymn number 62. Number
62. Crown Him with many crowns, the
Lamb upon the throne. Our cows a heavenly anthem drowns
all music but its own. Awake, my soul, and see Of Him
who died for thee, And hail Him as thy matchless King Through
all eternity. Crown Him the Lord of love, behold
His hands and side, Rich wounds yet visible above, in beauty
glorified. No angel in the sky can fully
bear that sight, But downward bends his wandering eyes, That
mystery so bright. Crown Him the Lord of life, Who
triumphed o'er the grave, Who rose victorious to the strife,
For those He came to save. His glories now we sing, Who
died and rose on high, Who died eternal life to bring, And lives
that that may die. Crown Him the Lord of Heav'ns,
one with the Father known. One with the Spirit, through
Him giv'n from yonder glorious throne. To Thee be in just praise,
for Thou for us hast died, Be thou, O Lord, through endless
days adored and magnified. Be seated. Sorry, I forgot to
put my cape on. I was a little bit low. M number
354. Four. What a friend we have in Jesus
All our sins and griefs to bear What a privilege to carry everything
to God in prayer. Oh, what peace we often forfeit
Oh, what needless pain we bear All because we do not care Everything to God in prayer. Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere? We should never be discouraged
Take it to the Lord in prayer Can we find a friend so faithful
Who will all our sorrows share Jesus knows our every weakness. Take it to the Lord in prayer. Glory we can't get related. Covered with the load of care. Precious saviors to our refuge
Take it to the Lord in prayer Who thy friends despise forsaking
Take it to the Lord in prayer Romans chapter 12. Romans chapter
12. Sung that song, What a Friend.
There's a brother, a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
That's the Lord Jesus Christ. You know, he told his disciples,
his fourth, I called you service, but now I call you friends. I
call you friends. Friends know what I'm doing.
Called us friends. Abraham was a friend of God.
Oh, my. Well, let me read these first
eight verses here. I don't know if I get through
all of them or not. I beseech you, therefore, brethren,
by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living
sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable
service. And be not conformed to this
world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,
that ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect
will of God. For I say, through the grace
given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of
himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly,
according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. FOR AS WE HAVE MANY MEMBERS IN
ONE BODY, AND ALL MEMBERS HAVE NOT THE SAME OFFICE, SO WE, BEING
MANY, ARE ONE BODY IN CHRIST, AND EVERY ONE MEMBERS ONE OF
ANOTHER, HAVING THEN GIFTS DIFFERING ACCORDING TO THE GRACE THAT IS
GIVEN TO US, WHETHER PROPHECY LET US PROPHESY ACCORDING TO
THE PROPORTION OF FAITH, OR MINISTRY LET US WAIT ON OUR MINISTRY,
OR HE THAT TEACHETH ON TEACHING, For he that exhorteth on exhortation,
he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity. He that ruleth
with diligence and showeth mercy with cheerfulness. Lord, we come to bless you again.
It's always what a blessing, what a privilege. What a glorious,
glorious time that you allow us to have. And, Lord, you blessed
us with today. You blessed us with yesterday. And, God, we look for you to
meet our needs tonight, meet our needs again tomorrow. As
long as we live on this earth, we know that you'll meet our
needs, that you'll uphold us by your power, that you'll give
us grace sufficient for every day, for every trial, for everything
that goes on in this world. Lord, I thank you for those that's
gathered out, and I thank you for those that's listening and
watching. Lord, God bless them. Lord, you're
the only one that can cause the word to be a blessing. You're
the only one that can cause the word to be an encouragement and
a comfort. So, Lord, please enable me to
speak today, and I ask you again on behalf of our children and
our grandchildren, Everyone in this building today has children
and grandchildren, sons and daughters, that they pray for, call their
names out before the Lord. So, Lord, we bring them before
you again. We bring them, and, Lord, we will continue to bring
them until maybe we'll be gone before they ever become a believer.
But that's okay. Lord, your will be done. Glorify
yourself this evening and do it for Christ's sake. Amen. Page
32 in our course book. 32 in the
course book. Jesus Christ is made to me All
I need, all I need He alone is all my plea He is all I need
Wisdom, righteousness, and power Holiness forevermore, Thine redemption
for sure. He is all I need. Jesus is my all in all, All I
need, all I need. While he keeps I cannot fall,
He is all I need. Wisdom, righteousness, and power,
Holiness forevermore, My redemption, pure and sure, He is all I need. He redeemed me when He died,
All I need, all I need. I with Him was crucified, He
is all I need. Wisdom, righteousness, and power,
holiness forevermore. He is all I need. Glory, glory to the Lamb. All I need, all I need. By His Spirit sealed I am. He is all I need. Wisdom, righteousness, and power,
holiness forevermore, my redemption fully sure, He is all I need. I beseech you, therefore, brethren,
by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living
sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable
service. He says it's your reasonable
service, not somebody else's reasonable service. You know,
we sometimes think that People ought to be a certain way, but
it's, he said, your reasonable service. Yours, what belongs
to you, your personal reasonable service. And not somebody else's,
not somebody else's. In the Bible, I tell you something
about the scriptures. They don't tell how people are
to treat me, but it tells me how I'm supposed to treat people. People treat you any way they
want to, but you, but the Bible tells us how to treat people,
how to treat people. And your reasonable service,
and then look what he says, I beseech you. That word beseech means
I call on you, I ask you, I implore you, come and please do what
you will. And not, he didn't command you,
he didn't bargain with you, He didn't, you know, He didn't command. He didn't demand. He said, I
beseech you. I beseech you. Look at that word
up today. It said, it means for you to
come and draw alongside. Come and draw alongside me. That's
what Paul said. I beseech you. I beseech you. Come and walk along beside me.
And oh, my. And then he says, therefore,
by the mercies, the mercies of God, The mercies of God. Oh, my. And this is the reasonable
response. You know, you know, your reasonable
service. This is a reasonable response
to the gospel that you present your bodies a living sacrifice. That's a reasonable thing to
do when you believe the gospel. It's a reasonable thing. It's
not logical. It's a reasonable thing. You
know, it's a reasonable saying. He said, I beseech you, and then
look what he said. Brethren. He's talking to the
brethren. He's not talking to everybody
out here in the world he's talking to. Ain't this something to be
called a, the Bible calls you brethren. Our Lord Jesus Christ
said he's not ashamed to call us brethren. Our Lord said, I'm not ashamed
to call them my brethren. Not ashamed. to call them my
brethren, and all mine. Then he says, therefore. Now,
whenever you find a therefore, you got to understand what it's
there for. And what Paul is saying, Romans, up to this point in time,
everything I've said, this is what you ought to conclude. This is the conclusion I come
to. This is where I was coming to. I want you to understand
these things. In light of what God has said,
in light of the things that he's taught us in the book of Romans,
you know, no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus.
Being dead with Christ, we're alive under God. Not under the
law, but under grace. You know, and a remnant according
to the election of grace, all these things. He said, I beseech
you, brethren, And then he says, oh, to present your bodies, your
bodies, your bodies. Now, you know, I believe I can
condense Romans into one verse, the whole book of Romans, I think,
into one verse. If you look with me, and I think
this is right, I hope it's right, and I hope I can move on from
here. But look what he said in Romans
chapter four and verse five. He says, brethren, I beseech
you, therefore, present your bodies. Presidual bodies a living
sacrifice Here we have this glorious gospel this Romans condensed
down into one verse and I believe this is right Look what he says,
but to him that worketh not Worketh not oh My and look what he goes on
to say but believeth on him that justifies the ungodly His faith
is counted for righteousness Now, I don't know about you,
but if you're not ungodly, then that word verse don't have anything
to do with you, don't have anything to do with you. And you as a
believer, if you're ungodly and you understand here that you
cannot do anything to contribute to your salvation. To him that
work is not. I mean, there's nothing we can
do. That's why I said present, there's what can we do? Him that
worketh not. And then what does faith respond
to? Believeth on him. What is it to believe on him? And that's what we do. That's
our faith. That's why he calls us brethren,
I beseech you. But him that justifies, justifies
us. And then when you believe, and
He justifies you, and you believe by Him, and you know that your
works has nothing to do with it, and that He only justifies
the ungodly, then He says, then your faith, God said, your faith,
I'm gonna count it to you for righteousness. So no, that's
why Paul comes along and says, no wonder you ought to present
your bodies in living sacrifice. Oh my. If you believe you can
contribute anything to your salvation, you know what it would prove?
It'd prove that your salvation would be impossible. It'd be
an absolutely impossible. And all my beliefs on him, faith
in him, his faith is counted for righteousness. And then look
what he goes on to say here. Back over in our text now. I
beseech you, therefore, brethren. That's why we went back to therefore.
And look what he says, I beseech you by the mercies, by the mercies
of God. What a motive he put. What a
motive. I beseech you by the mercies
of God. You know, Romans 9, 15, look
over here with me a moment. This word mercies here also means
compassion. In this particular place, it
means compassion. And I tell you, I looked that
up, and that's what it says. It says in this particular verse,
it means compassion. But look what God said over here
in Romans chapter 9 and verse 15. For he says to Moses, I will
have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion
on whom I will have compassion. So it's by the mercies and the
compassion of God. You know, he gives it to whom
he will. We don't, I don't deserve anything.
I don't deserve the mercies of God. I certainly don't deserve
what God would do for me. If I said, you know, that's what
he said. He will have compassion on whom
he will. I love that. I love the fact
that God does what he will for whom he will. And I love that
truth. Listen, Some people think that
God owes them something. I understand clearly that if
I got anything, He said, I beseech you, therefore, brethren, by
the mercies, mercies. He's called the Father of mercies,
the mercies of God. That publican that prayed with
that Pharisee prayed thus with himself, but that publican, when
he was standing there, he said, Oh God, be merciful to me. The sinner, Barnabas, was sitting
there by the wayside begging, blind as a bat, and had on beggar's
clothes. And he heard Christ coming through,
Christ passing by. And, oh, he has to pass by you. And he has to do something. And
Barnabas cried out, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy. On
me. What did Christ do? Stopped right
in his worst standing. When he hears that word cry for
mercy, he stops. He stood still. That's what it
says, he stood still. Oh, when you mention mercy to
Christ, he stands still. Oh my. That woman that took her
daughter to the Lord Jesus Christ, She said, Lord, she was a Canaanite
woman, a Syro-Phoenician woman, is a Gentile, yet she brought
her daughter, grievously vexed with the devil, brought her to
the Lord, said, Lord, Lord, she said, Lord, have mercy on me. Have mercy on me. There's a psalm, every single
verse in the psalm says, His mercy endureth forever. His mercy endureth forever. His mercy endureth forever. I
don't remember what psalm it is, but every single one of them,
that's what it says, His mercy endureth forever. That's why
Paul said, I beseech you, therefore, brethren, my brothers, my sisters,
I beseech you by the mercies of God. The mercies of God. Hmm. Oh, what a motive, what
a motive. That's why he says, I'm not,
I don't demand it, I don't command it. I'm not trying to bargain
with you. I'm just telling you by the mercies
of God, look what he says, present your bodies a living sacrifice. You know, there are people that
want to tell God what they're going to do for him. You know,
tell God, you know, I'm going to do this for you. I'm going
to do that for you. I'm going to do this other thing
for you. And I'm going to dedicate myself. I'm going to pray more.
I'm going to do all these things, you know. But Paul says, oh,
listen, don't get ready to do something
for God. He said, you present your bodies
a living sacrifice. What in the world does that mean?
There's an old preacher used to say, he said, I get up every
morning and give myself away to the Lord Jesus Christ afresh
every day. But this is what Isaiah said.
The Lord said, whom shall I send? Isaiah said, here am I, Lord. Abraham, Abraham. Where am I, Lord? Where am I? Paul, on the road to Damascus, when the Lord put him down, put
him down in the dirt, put him down where he couldn't do anything,
you know what he said? He said, Lord, what will you
have me to do? What is it? What is it you'd
have me to do? Well, here he tells us, present
your bodies. Present your bodies. A living
sacrifice. Oh, my. Love so amazing, so divine, demands
my soul, my life, my all. Such a little thing. Really,
when you think about it, say, Lord, here I am. I am. You do what you will with me.
Here I am. And then look what he says, present
your bodies a living sacrifice. And oh my, that it's holy and
acceptable unto God. You see that word holy and acceptable
unto God? The only people that can do this
is people that are holy. Flesh can't do this. Works religion can't do this.
Free will can't do this. But people that are holy, And
I've told you time and time again, holiness is a state of being.
Holiness is not something we attain unto, something that we're
striving to be better at, something to be more holier than somebody
else. That's what God told the Jews back in Isaiah 58, stand
afar off from me because you say I'm holier than you are.
That's what the Pharisee said, I thank you that I'm not like
that fellow over there. Oh my, holy. The only people
can do this is people that's holy, that God's made holy. Can God be any holier than he
is? Can Christ be any holier than he is? And if we're in Christ,
then we got his holiness. We're made partakers of the divine
nature. And then acceptable under God. That's what I'm interested in.
What's acceptable under God? What's acceptable to him? Only
holy people can do this. Oh my, acceptable. You presented,
and it's holy. It's a holy acceptance. It's
a holy thing that you're presenting to God because you're holy. And
so what you give, it has to be holy. And you present your bodies
to live in sacrifice. And then he said, that's just
your reasonable service. That's just reasonable. That's
a reasonable thing to do. Wouldn't you say that's reasonable?
Huh? Ain't that reasonable? Oh, my,
and then look what he says in verse 2. And be not conformed
to this world. One thing I do know about God's
people that he's talking to his brethren here, one thing I do
know about them is that they're not of this world. They don't
love this world. They've got to get out in it,
but they want to get back out of it just as quick as they possibly
can. We're not of the world. We've
been saved out of the world. And I tell you, the world has
no use for God, has no use for Christ, has no use for the gospel,
has no use for God's Word. The world don't and I'll tell
you especially especially the religious world The religious
world has no interest in God they're interested in what they're
doing what they're accomplishing what churches they're building
the works they're doing the the things that they're doing and
I tell you we this religious world I've often said I've often
said that if I didn't have no place to go and hear the gospel,
I'd be better off sitting at home if my feet propped up as
going here and somebody telling a lie on God. Somebody telling
me what I need to do to get right with God, to be acceptable to
God, and tell me what I've got to do in order to be saved. But
oh my, we're not of the world and it's lies. This world lies
in wickedness. I mean, you know, everybody in
this building knows right now that this whole world lies in
wickedness. It is wicked world. Oh, my. This is full of deception. This world is full of deception.
It'll deceive people all day, every day, by the millions, deceive
people. We're not of the world's views.
I don't view the world like everybody else views the world. I view
the world through God, through Christ, through the gospel. I
view a world made by God that I can enjoy and thank God for
it. We're not of this world's philosophy. Oh, I heard an old black preacher
say one time, He said, this is where you got to do it. He said,
you got to get all you can, get all you can, get all you can,
get all you can, get all you can, get all you got, and then
set on the can. That's the way the world is.
And I'll tell you what, we're not of this world's philosophy.
This world's philosophy, they seek the praise of men. Who read
it the other night, you know? You seek for, if you, that seek
not the honor that cometh from God, but seek honor one of another.
How can you seek the honor from God? No, men love the praise. They love the praise of the selves.
They love themselves. They want to pamper themselves.
They want their flesh to get what they possibly can. Satisfied. The world seeks the praise of
men. You know what we seek to praise? God. We want to praise
God. We don't want no praise. We don't
want no glory. And oh my, look what it said
over here. Keep Romans 12. Look at Luke 16. Look in Luke
16. You know, men, they love the praise of men.
Religious men love the praise of men. They do. They really,
I mean religious people, preachers and everybody, they want the
praise of men. They want to be recognized. Look what our Lord said here
in Luke chapter 16 and verse 15. Look what he said. And he said unto them, ye are
they which justify yourselves before men. You want men to look at you,
men to praise you, men to think well of you. Oh, but God knows
your heart, that that which is highly esteemed among men, God
said, it's abominable to me. It's an abomination to me. Oh,
my man wants to fire back and act like he's somebody. You know,
people, people, People have made a god out of self-esteem. You
know that? Made a god out of self-esteem. Made so much out of self-esteem.
And I mean, our confidence is in God. I'm not saying that.
I'm not saying that at all. But I mean, they want to pump
people up and tell them, you know, you got to have self-esteem.
People, you know, they got to learn how to love themselves
and enjoy, you know, and, and brag on themselves and tell everybody
that they can accomplish anything. Oh my, let me tell you something.
You know what God says about us? Falsest worms. Falsest grasshoppers. Falsest
grass. It's not flattering, is it? And yet, you know, the people
that has the confidence, and any confidence in this world,
you know where they got it? From God Almighty. We do not
have to kowtow to any man in this world because of what our
relationship with this is Christ. Our relationship with And, oh,
be not conformed to this world. Molded into it. That's what he
said back over here in Romans 12. You know, all that's in the
world is the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, the pride.
Oh, to be proud, proud, proud, proud. Oh, to be proud. Pride is an abomination in God's
sight. Just to have a proud look. Then
look what he says here back at, be not conformed to this world.
But look what else it says. But be ye transformed by the
renewing of your mind. That word transformed means to
be changed. Have your mind changed, you're
transformed, your mind's changed. You know, we're new creatures
in Christ. And when it says, by the renewing
of your mind, Paul said, we have the mind of Christ. What does
it mean to have the mind of Christ? What kind of mind does Christ
have towards his father? Father, not my will, but thine
be done. We have the mind of Christ. Thy will be done. Christ,
he says, I'm the only way to the Father. If we say we agree
with him, we have the mind of Christ. I agree with him. There
ain't no other way to get to God except through him. Christ said, he that honors me
honors my Father. Well, I got the mind of Christ. I honor him. Honor Him. We got the mind of
Christ. Oh, Christ, does He get all the
glory? Does He believe He gets all the
glory? We believe He gets all the glory. We want Him to have
all the glory. Oh, my. Do you see that He's all and
in all? Because He sees that He's all
in all. And we agree with Him. Everything He says, we agree
with Christ. He says man's a sinner. Yes,
Lord. Man needs me? Yes, Lord. I'm
the water of life? Yes, Lord. You're the rock of
life? Yes, Lord. I'm the bread of life?
Yes, Lord. Everything Christ says about
Himself, we agree with Him. Absolutely agree with Him. And,
oh, my, look what He goes on to say now. And be not conformed to this
world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that
you may prove What is that good, acceptable, and perfect will
of God? The mind of Christ. Oh, my. You know, that remuneration
of your mind, your mind's changed. And, oh, well, that new mind
you got, that mind of Christ you got, that mind that's presenting
your bodies, we prove what is that good. We understand. We
prove what is that good, acceptable, and perfect will of God. Now,
you know, how did our Lord teach us to pray? How did he teach
us to pray? He said, Our Father, which art
in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be
done, in heaven, as on this earth, even as it is in heaven. And,
oh, my, what? Oh, God's will is good. Oh, God's
will is so good. God's will is acceptable. It's
acceptable to me. Is it acceptable to you? Is God's will acceptable to you?
Not only is it good and acceptable, but it's perfect. God's will
is absolutely perfect. It's so good, so acceptable. In fact, we say it's perfect.
What did I close out with last Sunday night? It said, is God
which worketh in you both the will and the do of His good pleasure. Oh, my. And oh, look what He
goes on to say now. You know, back in dispensationalism,
these dispensationalists, I remember dispensationalists doing this.
They would break down that verse, you know, good and acceptable
and perfect will of God. That you had to, you know, start
out with good and then if you dedicated enough, then you'd
get it, have an acceptable will. And if you really, really got
real dedicated to it, wasn't such a carnal Christian, you
could be perfect. You know, the perfect will of
God. But he just builds on it, good, acceptable, and perfect. Ain't God's will that way? Huh? Ain't it that way? And oh, and
then look what he says. For I say through the grace given
unto me. If you got grace, it's been given
to you. I say through the grace given
unto me. And here what he's saying is,
we prove the good, perfect, and acceptable will of God among
ourselves. For he said, for I say through
the grace of God given unto me, to every man that's among you,
every man that's among you, and we're all among one another,
not to think, not to think more highly than he ought to
think. How we, that's how we prove that we, the perfect good
will acceptable grace, not to think highly, more highly than
he ought to do. Oh, God help a man who has a
high opinion of himself, an inflated opinion of himself, an inflated
view of himself. Oh, my, and that's what Paul
said. You know what humility is? He says, you know, that,
that, that think not highly above what you, higher than you think
you are. Don't ever think like that. You
know what humility really is? A right estimate of yourself. A right view of yourself. A right
view of yourself. And then he goes on to say, oh,
through the grace, and God gives us grace, not to think of himself
more highly than he ought to think. Now, if Paul could have
said, thought highly of himself, if anybody could have, it was
him. But he said, don't do that. But think soberly. Think soberly. That word soberly means to be clear, clear thinking, you know,
the way you really are. And then look what he goes on
to say, according as God hath dealt to every man a measure
of faith. Every one of us, that's what
he said. He's talking to these people, these brethren, these
men that he's, these brethren that he's besieged to present
their bodies that live in sacrifice by the mercies of God. He says
that God hath given us all a measure of faith. Everybody here knows
what a measure is. You got all kinds of measure.
You know, you open the drawer and you got measuring cups everywhere.
Well, God has built out a measure. A measure of what? Of faith.
Everybody's got a measure. I wonder what, you know, you
reckon we got that much? Or that much? It don't make any
difference. He's the one that measured it
out. And he's gonna give us exactly, exactly what we need. He measures
it out. Ain't that right? A measure of
faith. And oh my, let me see what time
we got here. Oh my, for as we have many members
of one body, and all members have but not the same office.
Now I'm one body. If I hurt my toe, my whole body
hurts. If I smash my finger with a hammer,
my whole body hurts. I have one body, I have many
members, and all the members of my body are different. They
have different offices, they do different things. Hands and
feet and eyes and ears and all those things do different things.
But I have one body, and so, so we being many, verse five,
for we being many, ONE BODY IN CHRIST. I'VE GOT MANY MEMBERS
IN MY BODY, AND ALL MEMBERS DON'T DO THE SAME THING, SO WE BEING
MANY, ALL OF US BELIEVERS AS MANY, ARE ONE BODY IN CHRIST,
AND EVERY ONE OF US ARE MEMBERS ONE OF ANOTHER. IF YOU'RE A MEMBER
OF THE BODY OF CHRIST, THEN YOU'RE MEMBERS ONE OF ANOTHER. WE'RE
JOINED TOGETHER, WE'RE MEMBERS OF THE BODY OF CHRIST. And then
he says, now just as our body has different things that it
does, different offices in our own body, even in the body of
Christ, having then gifts differing. It's like we have different,
our body has different functions. He says there, having then gifts
different according to the grace that's given to us. Oh my, given
to us. So there being many, every one
of us remembers one of another. And then in this body, in this
body of Christ, in the church, the body of Christ, having then
gifts different according to God's grace that's given to us. And then there's seven, seven
gifts here, seven gifts. And I'll go through them as quick
as I possibly can. The first one then is, is prophecy. And prophecy just means preaching.
Preaching it means a proclamation Not foretelling what something's
going to happen not prophesying something's going to happen on
the end something that's going to happen tomorrow It's a preaching. It's a proclamation is what that
word there means And then if you do that and you got you do
it according to the amount of faith you have Don't act like
you got something you don't have but don't act like you got no
more than anybody else does got more than anybody else does preaching
And in ministry, you know what that word minister means, ministry? It means to be a servant. You
know, they ministered unto Christ. Paul said, we minister to one
another. And that word minister means
servant. Everybody can be a servant. Everybody, everybody can be a
servant. And then teaching, teaching. He that teaches, if you're going
to teach, wait. Wait. Wait till you have that
opportunity to teach. Wait on your teaching. Wait and
learn. Wait on your teaching. And you
exhort. That word exhortation means to
encourage. Encouragement. That's what it
means. Exhort one another while it's
called today. Exhort one another in the faith. Exhort one another, encourage
one another. Lift one another up, exhort one another. Be encouraging. And then he says this, he that
giveth, if you're gonna give something, if you're gonna give
something, you're gonna give, do it simply. Don't let your
right hand or your left hand, no, don't let, don't sound the
trumpet, just give. Do it very simply. You know,
just do it. Don't sound a trumpet. And then,
you know, if a man's gonna rule, he's gonna rule, he's gonna be
a God, let him be diligent about it. Diligent about it. Get at it, do it. Whatever you
find to do, do it with all your might. And then look what he
says. I love this right here. And if
you show mercy, if you show mercy to somebody, that's having trouble,
having heartaches, having troubles, having sorrows, having things
going on in their life, if you show mercy, show it with
cheerfulness. Don't say, oh, I really do, I
really am sure, you know, I'm gonna show mercy too. No, do
it happily, cheerfully. You gotta show mercy to somebody.
Somebody needs mercy. Do it cheerfully. Don't you think our Lord, when
he showed mercy to those men and women in the Bible, don't
you think he done it cheerfully? We receive mercy cheerfully.
We receive it cheerfully. Oh, our Lord and our God, the
precious name, glorious name of our Savior, the Lord Jesus.
Thank you for meeting with us tonight. I pray that Noah went
through it very fast, but I pray it was a blessing in his encouragement,
his instructive. Lord, we do want to learn. We
do want to learn. We want to learn what you have
to teach us. And Lord, here we are. Come to
give ourselves, present ourselves to you. That goodwill, that acceptable
will, that perfect will of God. Here we are, giving ourselves
to you. God bless these dear saints.
Encourage them. Lift them up. Speak to their
hearts. Strengthen them in their bodies
and in their minds. And thank you for my preacher,
brother. Thank you for all my brothers and sisters in Christ.
God bless, meet the needs of everyone. For Christ's sake,
amen. There is a name I love to hear. I love to sing its worth. It sounds like music in my ear. The sweetest name on earth. Oh, how I love Jesus. Oh, how I love Jesus. How I love Jesus. Because He first loved me. If He hadn't loved us first,
we'd have never loved Him. That's for sure. Good night and
God bless you. See you Sunday. Lord, we're going
to have dinner Sunday. Don't forget that.
