222. 222. There is a fountain filled with
blood Drawn from Emmanuel's veins And sinners plunged beneath that
flood Loose all their guilty stains Loose all their guilty
stains Loose all their guilty stains And sin The dying thief rejoiced to see
that fountain in his day. And there may I, O Valisee, wash
all my sins away. Wash all my sins away. Wash all my sins away. And there may I, though vile
as he, wash all my sins away. Dear dying lamb, thy precious
blood shall never lose its power. Till all the ransomed Church
of God be safe to sin no more. Be safe to sin no more Be safe
to sin no more And all the ransomed Church of God Be safe to sin
no more E'er since, by faith, I saw the stream Thy flowing
wounds supply, Redeeming love has been my theme. And shall be till I die And shall
be till I die And shall be till I die Redeeming love has been
my theme And shall be till I die When this poor lisping, stammering
tongue Lies silent in the grave And in a nobler, sweeter song
I'll sing thy power to save I'll sing thy power to save I'll sing
thy power to save And in a nobler, sweeter song, I'll sing thy power
to save. I've got two places I want you
to look this morning with me. Mark chapter 7 and Matthew 15. We have to look
to both of them to deal with this subject I want to deal with
today. Let's read Mark 7 starting at
verse 24 down to verse 30. Then we'll turn to Matthew, see
the story over there. And from thence he arose, after
he had the conversation with all the people about the heart.
and went from thence, and from thence he arose and went to the
borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into a house, and would
have no man know it, but he could not be hid. For a woman whose
young daughter had an unclean spirit heard of him, and came
and fell at his feet. The woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician
by nation, and she besought him that he would cast forth the
devil out of her daughter. But Jesus said unto her, Let
the children first be filled, for it is not meat to take the
children's bread and cast it unto dogs. And she answered unto
him, and said unto him, Yea, Lord, yet the dogs under the
table eat the children's crumbs. And he said unto her, For this
saying, Go thy way, the devil is gone out of thy daughter.
And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone
out, and her daughter laid upon the bed. Now, Matthew 15, verse
21. Then Jesus went thence and departed
into the coast of Tyre and Sidon. And behold, a woman of Canaan
came out of the same coast and cried unto him, saying, Have
mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David, My daughters grievously
vexed with the devil. But he answered her, not a word.
And his disciples came and besought him, saying, send her away, for
she crieth after us. But he answered and said, I am
not sent, but under the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Then came she and worshiped him, saying, Lord, help me. But he answered and said, Is
not meat not right that I should take the children's bread and
to cast it to dogs? And she said, Truth, Lord, yet
the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their master's table.
Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy
faith, be it even unto thee as thou wilt. And her daughter was
made whole from that very hour. our most blessed, glorious, great
and blessed God of heaven and earth. Lord, we praise you and
thank you that you're our God, that you made yourself known
to us. So many people in this world have never been, don't
even know you exist and don't care that you do. But Lord, you've
been pleased to make a people to be your own. You've been pleased
to call us out by the gospel of the grace of God. You've been
pleased to reveal yourself unto us. You even told us, Lord, that
your father made these things known to us, but he hid these
things from the wise and the prudent, but revealed them unto
babes. And so, Lord, we come, like we
always come, utterly and absolutely, dependent upon you for everything
we'll have this day. For every word that's said, for
every prayer that's prayed, for every word and heart that listens,
for every truth that's expressed. Oh Lord, we're dependent on you.
You're the vine, we're just the branches. You're the foundation,
we're just built on you. So Lord, we look to you. And
now we pray especially for those that are not with us, whose bodies
are very frail. We just pray for Joe and Eleanor,
and we pray for Fran, and we pray for those that are traveling.
We have some dear saints traveling. Please preserve them and keep
them. And Lord, open hearts today.
Lord, you told us your sheep hear your voice. When they hear
your voice, they'll follow you. Oh God, let the voice of Christ
be spoken into an ear today. We ask these things and ask for
your presence and power for the gospel today. For Christ's sake,
amen. Let's all stand together as we
sing the hymn of the day in the Bulletin. Mercy is welcome news indeed
to those that guilty stand. Riches that feel what help they
need, we'll bless the helping hand. We'll bless the helping
hand. We all have sinned against our
God, exception none can boast. But he that feels the heaviest
load will prize forgiveness most. Will prize forgiveness most. No reckoning can we rightly keep
For who the sums can know Some souls are fifty pieces deep And
some five hundred ohm And some five hundred ohm But let our
debts be what they may, however great or small. As soon as we have not to pay,
our Lord forgives us all. Our Lord forgives us all. It is perfect poverty alone that
sets the soul at large. While we can call one mine our
own, we have no full discharge. We have no full discharge. Be seated. Back here in Mark 7, when I says in verse 24, And
from thence he arose, and went into the borders of Tyre and
Sidon, and entered into a house, and would no man know it, but
he could not be hid. Now the reason I had you read
over in Matthew 15 about the same woman, It's because I want to deal with
faith, faith. And our Lord said that she had
great faith. Our Lord talked about faith by
two people. You remember Jairus' daughter,
no, the centurion. He said, Lord, I'm not worthy
that you come under my roof. Just send your word only. He
said, I've not found so great a faith, no, not in all Israel.
Well, this is the second person he said had great faith. It was
this woman. Great faith. great faith. And you remember also, our Lord,
He talked to His disciples when they woke Him up from sleeping
one time and He said, Oh, ye of little faith. He chided His
own people for having little faith, but He talks about these
folks having great faith. You know, faith, what a glorious, glorious
thing. But the first thing I want you
to notice is this, that He went into a house in verse 24 and
didn't want nobody to know where He was at. He went in there and
didn't want nobody to know where He was at. I don't know why that
was, but he didn't want nobody to know where he's at. He went
into a house, but look what the next word says, could not be
hid. He could not be hid. Folks gonna
find out where he's at. Did I tell you what? That's when
the sheep find out where the shepherd's at, that's where they're
headed. I know that. They're gonna find out. But he
could not be hid. But there's a couple of times
where our Lord Jesus Christ hid himself. He did hide himself.
and John 8 36 when the scriptures tells us that they picked up
because he said before Abraham was I am they picked up stones
to stone him and the scripture said and that he hid himself
from them how do you hide yourself from somebody and they're standing
right there in front of you our lord can do that it's like when
he rose from the dead He all of a sudden, He didn t walk through
the door, He didn t knock on the door, He just appeared unto
His people, and He said, Here I am! Here I am! As you know, and that s after
His resurrection, He was just there. And another time the scriptures
tells us that they was asking for a sign from Him and was trying
to do harm to Him in John 12, and He hid Himself again. He
hid Himself again. And has He ever hid Himself from
you? And I do know that one thing, if He hides Himself from you,
you're not going to stop looking until you find Him. And that's
what happened here. He could not be hid. And you know what He could not
be hid from? Faith. Wherever faith is, you can't
hide Him. And that's what this woman was.
She had faith. And I tell you, faith is going
to find Him. Faith is looking for Him. Faith is sea-roading
on Him. He's the object of all of our
faith, is the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. And oh my, bless His
name. He could not be hid from faith,
faith at all. And here's a woman that our Lord
called in Matthew, a woman that had great, great faith, great
faith. Now I personally, I don't know
about you, I personally would not lay claim to having great
faith. I could not lay claim to having
great faith. I would not. I would not do that. But I'm just grateful that I
have faith at all. I'm grateful that I have faith
at all. But oh, look at this woman, this woman that Christ
said that she had great faith. We might find out what it's about
and how it comes about and what it looks at and how it deals
with things. The first thing I want you to
notice about this faith that this woman had, it comes from
a sinner. It comes from a sinner. That's
the first thing that faith does, it comes from a sinner. Only
sinners have faith. They say, Pray the sinner's prayer.
That's all a sinner can do is pray. He don't have to be told
how to pray, and this woman, ain't that what she said? It
says there in verse 25 here in Matthew, Mark 7, a woman, and over there it calls
her submission here, had a young daughter and had an unclean spirit,
and listen to this next thing, she heard a hymn. She heard a
hymn. She heard a hymn. She was a sinner. She came to the Lord Jesus Christ,
she was a Greek. It says there in verse 26, she
is a Greek, it's not a Phoenician name. She was a Gentile, she
was what's called a dog, and our Lord even called her a dog.
But this came from a sinner, oh my. And this come from a woman
and from people like us. We had no promise from God, no
prophet, Never even had the gospel sent to him. And here's this
woman, she comes to Christ, cause she heard of him, she could not
be hid. And she worshiped, she had been
a worshiper of idols. She lived up there in Tyre and
Sidon, where it's a God forsaken place. And I tell you, our Lord
went there and she worked all kinds of idols and all kinds
of things. But she came to Christ as somebody
that had nothing to offer. Absolutely nothing. And I tell
you, once you come with nothing to offer, you always come with
nothing to offer. You always, you got nothing to
offer. We got nothing that we can, we can't even offer our
faith to God. We can't offer our, we can't
offer anything to Him, but she came to Him because she heard
of Him. And that's the sixth thing. You
know, faith has to hear of the Lord Jesus Christ. You know,
you can't trust anybody you've never heard. You can't believe
on somebody you don't know anything about. And so I, Lord Jesus Christ,
we have to, we have to HEAR of Him. And I, you know, and I've
told you before that that's how the, what the gospel's all about.
The gospel's not to try to convince somebody and talk somebody into
believing on the Lord Jesus Christ. It's trying to tell, it's telling
people what Christ already did. what s already been accomplished.
You know, if you ever find out who Jesus Christ is, the Lord
of Glory, over there she said, Oh, Lord! Oh, Lord! That s the
first thing out of her mouth. Oh, Lord! You re Lord! You re Jehovah! You re God in
the flesh! And then the next thing she said,
she understood that he was of the son of David, that he was
the rightful heir to the king, that he was born a king, he LIVED
a king, and he is ALWAYS going to be king, and she said, O LORD,
thou son of David! And so she knew EXACTLY who he
was! Because she heard of Him. And
if you ever find out, now I'm telling you, if you ever find
out that Jesus Christ is God Almighty, and that he also became
a man. Here s what happens. Man was so lost, man was so helpless,
man lived in such darkness that there was nothing that God would
do for a sinner that He could not do unless He had somebody
that came as a man. And that man had to be equal
with God Himself. He had to have the merit of God,
he had to have the power of God, he had to have the, everything
about God had to be manifest in him. Well, how's that gonna
happen? How's God gonna save us from our darkness, save us
from this awful condition we're in? He said, I'll send my son. Well, how are you gonna send
him? Since there ain't a perfect man
on the earth, since there ain't a sinless man on the earth, since
there ain't anybody that can be like me, since there ain't
nobody can be as righteous as I am, as powerful as I am, as
gracious as I am, as just as I am, I'll tell you what I'll
do. I'll put my son in the womb of a virgin. She'll be born of
the Holy Ghost of God. And I'll send him into this world.
and He'll be me while He's there. And now, being God and being
man, as man, He can honor and obey God Almighty. And as a man,
He's able to die to put away our sin. That's how bad a shape
we are. That's how bad a shape we are
that God Himself gave His own Son, made His Son. to come into
the, made of a woman, made to be sin, made to be righteous. And that's how only way God could
ever have any dealings with any human being on the face of this
earth. That's why you got to hear about him. You got to know
something about him. Oh, you got to know something about
him. And she heard of him. And the first thing out of her
mouth when she went to him, oh, Lord. Oh, Lord. How many times have we said,
oh, Lord? Oh, Lord. Oh, Lord. Oh, Lord. And then she said, you're the
son of David. You're the son of David, you've taken David's
throne. God promised you a throne and a dominion forever and ever
and ever. And then, oh my, and then I tell
you her faith, because she was such an awful sinner, Gentile,
Gentile dog. But look what else it says. She
heard of him, and look what happens now. She fell at his feet. She fell at His feet. Over in
the other place, over in the other place, it says that she
worshiped Him. She worshiped Him. She adored
Him. She bowed to Him. She came to
Him. And you know why she came to Him and fell at His feet?
Because her faith, you know where her faith come from? Same place
mine did. Same place your did if you got
it. God had to give it to you. You wasn't born with it. And
I don't care what any preacher says, you ain't, you wasn't born
with it, all you got to do is exercise it. That's not, no,
no. Paul told the Thessalonians,
all men have not faith. And I tell you, you know, when
you know, when you have faith, you remember when you didn't
have it. But here I do know this, that if we have faith, for by
grace are you saved, through faith, and that not of yourselves. What is it? It's the gift of
God. Oh my. They said, you know, being
begotten again by his own will, by the word of truth. It's given
you on the behalf of Christ to believe on his name. Oh my. As many as were ordained to eternal
life. What happened to them? They believed.
They believed. and all men don t have faith.
Faith is the gift of God. Faith in Colossians 2 said it
s an operation of God. God operates in a person s heart
and soul and gives him faith, and it s by the power of God.
God s power gives us faith, and I ll tell you something else,
God s power KEEPS us believing. If He didn t keep us believing,
we would not believe. I've seen too many people walk
away from the gospel. I've seen too many people not
keep to the gospel. And I tell you what, and I heard
Henry Mahan say this again the other day, and I've heard a preacher
say it forever. If you can walk away from the gospel just as
sure as God's on His throne, you will. But this woman, she had faith.
Where'd she get her faith? Where'd it come from? Let me
ask you this. How come Abraham believed God? Why did Abraham believe God?
Where'd he get faith? God just said, Abraham, go out.
He didn't even know where he was going. He didn't know where
he was going, but God said, go out, and I'll show you where
to go when you get there. Now, where in the world did he
get faith? Same place me and you did, from God. He was ordained
to eternal life. He was ordained to be God's elect.
He was ordained to be the father of many nations and God said,
Abraham. Acts 17 says, when the God of
glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he dwelt in Mesopotamia,
what happened to him? He went out. That's what this
woman did. She had faith and she went where?
She went right straight to his feet. rest straight to his feet. Oh
my. And not only is faith a gift
from God, it's a sovereign gift of God. God don't give it to
everybody. No, no, God don't give it to
everybody. He doesn't give it to everybody.
Oh my. You know, it says here he went
into the Tyre and Sidon. You know why he went into Tyre
and Sidon? For this woman, one woman right
here. He went to Tyre and Sidon just
like he went for the woman at the well. He had one of his sheep
there. One of those he died for. One
of those he shed his blood for. One of those that belonged to
him. Oh my. He went there to get a sheep. He had to go get this sheep. Now she started seeking the Lord,
but you know why? because the Lord went where she
was. Not exactly where she was, not
exactly what she's gonna do, and how she's gonna do it, and
what she's gonna ask for. But you know why these things
are in the Bible? To show us how God saves sinners, and what
kind of people He saves. And I'll tell you what, and He
don't, and He put obstacles in her faith. He did, He put obstacles
in her faith. Oh, she said, Lord, help me!
Have mercy on me! My daughter is grievously vexed
with the devil! And oh, my! And I tell you, look
what our Lord said to her in verse 27 here, and over in Matthew
it says, you know, He answered her not a word, but here it says,
But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled,
And he said, it's not right, it's not mean, it's not able,
right, and it's not the fit thing for me to take the children's
bread and give it unto a dog. And here's the next thing. Faith
agrees with the truth, always agrees with the truth. I heard
a fellow say one time, a person can be saved and not believe
in election or in grace, but I'll tell you something, you
know, And she agreed, but she said, Yes, Lord, it's right.
You're exactly right. I'm a dog. You're telling the
truth on me. I'm a dog. But faith, it agrees
with the truth. He confronted her with sovereign
election. I'm not sent but to the lost
sheep of the house of Israel. And it's not right that I take
this bread that I'm feeding them people with and give it unto
a dog. She said, Lord, I don't have no problem with
you going to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. I have no
problem with that. It doesn't bother me a bit. And he hindered her. He didn't
answer her a word. Everybody says, Oh, all you've
got to do is just get up here and ask Jesus to save you, and
that's all it takes. You can't TRUST Him until you
know who He is. Oh, here's Easter time, and oh,
everybody, everybody, I don't know how in the world they do
this, but she agreed with sovereign election. And after he told her
it's not right, she wouldn't listen to a word, she just kept
hollering at him, hollering at him, she's like Bartimaeus, have
mercy on me, Jesus, have mercy on me, son of David. And them disciples says, oh,
send her away. She's crying after us. She wasn't
crying after them. She was crying after the Lord.
Them fellas ought to have been able to say, they ought to have
said, Lord, this woman, please help this woman. That's the first
thing they ought to have said. Please, Lord, do something for
this woman. But you know, they told Bartimaeus,
shut up, Bartimaeus. And they told the Lord, send
this woman away. She's aggravating us. She's aggravating
us. Oh my. All she knew was she had
a daughter and that daughter had a problem. She didn't think
of herself. She just thought of her child,
but the Lord just kept telling her, just don't, don't, I ain't
going to answer you. I'm not going to answer you.
And finally, finally, she just kept on and on and on. And over
there in Matthew, she said, Lord, help me. Help me. Help me. Help me. Two little old words. Help me.
Lord, help me. Help me to believe. Help me to
trust you. Help me to worship you. Help
me to believe you. Help me to depend on you. Help
me to stay at your feet. Help me to worship. Oh, Lord,
help me in every way I need help. Help me, Lord. Help me. And then after she said that,
you know what else she said? Oh Lord, have mercy for my daughter,
my daughter. Not me, my daughter. Have mercy
for my daughter. Have mercy on my daughter. Oh
my. And he said, it's not right that
I take the children's bread and give it to dogs. She said, and
you know what, the next thing she said was, truth, truth, Lord. That's the truth, truth, Lord.
Oh my, she didn't know everything. She didn't know, all she knew
is that Christ was the only one who could do anything for her.
You know, true faith doesn't know everything, and it doesn't
have to. But I do know one thing about faith. It agrees with the
truth when it hears it. It does. You know, did that thief
on the cross, did he know what we call the doctrine of grace?
Did he know about total depravity? He knew something about it. He
said, I'm here justly. He didn't have to know everything,
but I'll tell you what he did know. He did know that man hanging
on that tree next to him. could save him. And I also know
this, that if he had been confronted with what we call the doctrine
of grace or the gospel, he'd agreed with every bit of it.
Huh? Listen, people say, well, I just
don't hardly believe that truth. Well, then you ain't got faith.
And here's the thing about the difference between faith and
just being a church member. Faith always agrees with the
truth. When they first hear it, it may... You first hear about God's sovereignty,
God's God. He's not a pretender. He sits
on a throne and bars no leave to be. You hear about man dying,
dying to God and dying to righteousness, being dead in trespasses and
sins. I didn't know it was that bad.
Then you hear about unconditional election, that if you re elected,
it s unconditional. He doesn t look for anything
from you. Unconditionally, there s no conditions
on what God does for us, and He unconditionally elects people. He elected a people for the foundation
of the world, and there was no conditions on that election.
If there had been a condition on it, where you got, people
say, well, you, you know, you got, he gives you faith and,
and, and, and, and, and, you know, if you believe, if you'll
really trust Jesus, that'll prove you elect. No, no. You will believe
if you are one of God's elect. It's unconditional. I would have
never, I would have never known I was one of God's elect until
God elected me. And then I found out it was because
I didn't have nothing to give. What could I do? I was a dead
dog sinner. I was like Mephibosheth when
he came before King David. Why lookest thou upon such a
dead dog as I am? But the king said, sit at my
table. Eat at my table for the rest
of your life. and then put your feet under
the table. Ours, you're still lame, but I'll tell you what,
nobody will see it. Nobody will see it. Oh, my. Oh, our Lord Jesus Christ says
they shall all be taught of God. When God starts teaching a man,
he ain't gonna stop till he teaches him. He's the Lord. You got nothing
to offer, and you ain't got nothing. Paul, you know what Paul said
he was? Though I'm the least of the apostles,
though I be nothing." That's an apostle saying, I'm nothing.
An apostle saying, I'm nothing. And then, oh my, and I'll tell
you something else about this faith is, it was on Christ. It says here,
there, do you know that she heard of him in verse 25, heard of
him and came and fell at his feet. And oh, says she, come
and worship to him, calling him Lord. Oh, she knew who he was,
son of God. No one else could carry our griefs
and carry our sorrows like he could. Oh, she was grieved over
her daughter, sorrow for her daughter, and she came to the
Lord for her daughter, for her daughter. And oh, my. And her request was, Lord, please
have mercy on me. Help me. Help me. Oh, my daughter. That's what she said there in
verse 26. And she besought him that he
would cast forth the devil out of her daughter. She is a Gentile.
But Jesus said unto her, let the children first be filled.
Oh, my. For it is not me to take the
children's bread and cast it to dogs." Thank God for a gospel
of mercy. Our Lord Jesus Christ looked
at her. And you know this faith, this
faith is so contrary to religion. You look at the Jews. He just
dealt with the Jews. And these Jews were bound by
the traditions, the traditions of their elders. Oh, they were
Jews. They had everything. They had
Moses, the prophets, the ceremonies, the sacrifices, the priests.
They had even the Word of God. She had nothing. And yet they
didn't believe, but she sought mercy. They bragged about their
merit. She bowed to the truth. They
worried about their tradition. They were concerned with the
outward and the external, what they ate and how they ate it.
They were vain worshipers, our Lord called them. She was a true
worshiper. They talked about the Lord. She
believed the Lord. They were offended. She was blessed. She was blessed. Oh, the apostle
said, send her away. Send her away. Oh, they were
so selfish. But oh my, she persevered. She persevered. You notice that
Matthew said she answered her, not a word. The more he put her
off, the harder she came. Called her a dog. And you know
what she said? Look what she said here in verse
28. Then she answered and said unto
him, Yea, Lord, yet the dogs under the table, Eat of the children's
crumbs. Over there, he said, eat the
crumbs. And over there, it says in Matthew
5, it said, eat the crumbs from the master's table, from the
master's table. Oh, Lord, she said, yes, I'm
a dog. Yeah, I agree with you. I'm an absolute dog. I'm a dog. Now, I want you to look with
me back over in Matthew 15. Let me show you the results of
this, because it's got a little more to it over here, and I want
to show you the results of what happened. Oh, they ate the trumps which
fall from the master's table. Oh, my. Look what it says now. Then Jesus
answered, verse 28, then Jesus answered, said unto her, O woman,
didn't give us her name, just a certain woman. You know how
many times it talks about a certain person or a certain place or
a certain man or a certain, and that's all she was, just, that's
just, that's us. Ain't nobody knows us anywhere
else. Nobody knows us anywhere else. But look what he says. Oh woman,
great is thy faith. Now listen to what he says. Be
it unto thee even as you will. You will for your daughter. You're
here for your daughter. You're here for mercy. You're
here for help. You worshiped me. You acknowledged who I was,
be it unto thee even as thou wilt. Oh my, you will for mercy,
I'm gonna give you mercy. You will eat from my table, even
the crumbs, I'm gonna give you, I'm gonna give them to you, I'm
gonna give them to you. Oh my, and oh my, look what happened. And her daughter was made whole
from that very hour. From that very hour, huh? Oh,
my. Her daughter, oh, our Lord's
word to her was a comforting word. Oh, what comforting words,
a commending word. Oh, woman, great is thy faith.
He didn't say great is your sin, didn't say great is your noise.
No, no, great is thy faith. And a commanding word, be it
unto thee, be it unto thee. Anything you get is gonna be
under thee. Now, the king is speaking, giving a command and
a complying word. He complied with her request.
Her faith touched him. Now he would touch her by his
word. And what a complete, complete
salvation. Her daughter was made whole. Christ don't do things by half
measures. If He makes you whole, you're whole for the rest of
your life. She was whole when that woman went home. Her daughter,
she didn't have a thing in the world wrong with her. She left,
everything was wrong. When she got home, nothing's
wrong. That's the way our Lord does
things. Did He save you by halves? No, no. You know, when He makes
you whole, He makes you completely whole. Makes you whole in your
mind. Makes you whole in your heart. Makes you whole in your soul. Makes you whole in trusting Christ. Makes you whole in your affections
and your will. You know one thing, I believe
this with all my heart, that a child of God, one who God done
something for, they don't want to hold back nothing, absolutely
nothing from Christ. They would just love to give
over their whole being to Him. And if it wasn't for this flesh,
they would. And one of these days, He's gonna get all of us.
Huh? Oh Lord, thank you for your precious,
precious, precious word. Oh Lord, people that come to
you, they come to you empty and they leave full. They come to you knowing nothing
and yet you teach them. Come empty handed and you fill
them with mercy and you fill them with grace. They come knowing nothing, and
yet you give them faith to believe you and trust you. Oh, Lord, I pray your great glorious blessings. Oh, for Christ's sake, for Christ's
sake, save your sheep in this place. Save sinners in this place. And oh Lord, never, ever, ever,
God for Christ's sake, never let us, never let us look to
anyone but you all the days of our life until we dwell in the
house of the Lord forever and ever. Amen. Amen. 327 in the hymn book. Stand and
we'll sing this and then you'll be at liberty to go. I think
that's what I want, 327. For a faith that will not shrink. O for a faith that will not shrink,
oppressed by many a foe, that will not tremble on the brink
of any earthly woe, on any earthly woe, ? That will not murmur nor
complain ? ? Beneath the chastening rod ? ? But in the hour of grief
or pain ? ? Will lean upon its God ? ? Will lean upon its God
? ? Faith that shines more bright and clear ? ? When tempests rage
without ? ? That when in danger knows no fear ? ? In darkness
feels no doubt ? ? In darkness feels no doubt ? ? Lord give
me such a faith as this ? And then whatever may come ? I'll
taste in now the hallowed bliss ? Of an eternal home ? Of an
eternal home See you tonight, six o'clock, God willing. Okay.
