Zechariah 6:9-13

The sermon titled "Christ: The BRANCH," preached by Don Bell, centers on the significance of Jesus Christ as depicted in Zechariah 6:9-13 as "the Branch." The key theological theme is Christ's dual role as both King and Priest and how He fulfills Old Testament prophecies. Bell argues that the crowning of Joshua is a prophetic symbol pointing to Christ, emphasizing that Jesus is the ultimate fulfillment of the role of "the Branch," a concept found in Isaiah 11:1, where He is portrayed as bringing forth fruit and revealing God's character. The practical significance lies in understanding that, as believers, they are part of the spiritual temple Christ builds, and He mediates peace between God and humanity. Bell reiterates the importance of recognizing Christ's unique mediator role and the glory that belongs to Him alone.

in your Bibles to Exodus chapter 12. Exodus chapter 12. Read the first few verses of this
chapter. Exodus chapter 12. And the Lord spake unto Moses
and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, This month shall be unto
you the beginning of months. It shall be the first month of
the year to you. speak ye unto all the congregation
of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall
take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their
fathers, a lamb for in house. And if the household be too little
for the lamb, let him and his neighbor next unto his house
take it according to the number of the souls. Every man according
to his eating shall make your count for the lamb. Your lamb
shall be without blemish, a male of the first year. You shall
take it out from the sheep or from the goat, and you shall
keep it up until the 14th day of the same month, and the whole
assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the
evening. And they shall take of the blood
and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door posts
of the houses. wherein they shall eat it. And
they shall eat the flesh in the night, roast with fire and unleavened
bread, and with bitter herbs shall they eat it. Eat not of
it raw nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire his
head, with his legs, and with the pertinence thereof. And ye
shall let nothing of it remain until the morning, and that which
remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire. And
thus shall ye eat it, with your loins girded, your shoes on your
feet, and your staff in your hand, and ye shall eat it with
haste. It's the Lord's Passover. For
I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will
smite all the firstborn of the land of Egypt, both man and beast,
and against all the gods of Egypt. I will execute judgment. I am
the Lord. And the blood shall be to you
for a token upon the houses where you are. And when I see the blood,
I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you
to destroy you when I smite the land of Egypt. And this day shall
be unto you for a memorial, and you shall keep it a feast to
the Lord throughout your generations. You shall keep it a feast by
an ordinance forever. Let us pray. Dear Heavenly Father, we come
in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. We pray in your holy
name, Lord. Hallowed be thy name. We pray
that you'd cause us to worship tonight, Lord. Cause us to be
drawn closer to you. Cause us to see our Savior. We
want to be close to Him, dear Lord. We pray that you'd send
the Holy Spirit to Brother Donnie. Cause him to tell us about Christ.
Open our hearts and our eyes and our ears. Cause us to see
him, to love him, to need him, to want him. Forgive us, Lord,
of everything that's unlike him. Help thou mine unbelief. Pray,
Lord, tonight for the sick. You know who they are. We pray
that you bless them. Restore them. Pray that you heal
them, if it be thy will. And pray again, Lord, for our
families, our family members that don't know you, don't seem
to care. Pray, Lord, that you give them
a need, cause them to come hear the gospel. In Christ's name
I pray, amen. Number 256. 256. When peace like a river attendeth
my way, When sorrows like sea billows roll, It is well with my soul. It is well, it is well with my
soul. Though Satan should rough it,
though trials should ? God's control ? ? That Christ
hath regarded ? ? My helpless estate ? ? And hath shed his
own blood for me ? my soul. It is well with my soul. I sing of the bliss of this glorious
thought. I sing not in part, but the whole. is nailed to the cross, and I
bear it no more. Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
O my soul. It is well with my soul. It is well, it is well with my soul. My faith shall be sighed. The tribes be rolled back as
a scroll of trumpets. And so it is well with my soul. It is well with my soul. It is this way. Let's look in Zechariah chapter
6. Now let me tell you where Zechariah
is at. Malachi is the last book in the Old Testament, right before
Matthew. Zechariah is right before Malachi. So if you go to Malachi and go
left, go to your left, you come to Zechariah chapter 6. I've been trying to kind of follow
the alphabet, speaking about the Lord Jesus, and I think I
had four or five names with A. Last week was anchor of our soul. But you'll see here in a moment
what it is. Let's start here in verse 9,
read down through verse 13. And the word of the Lord came
unto me, saying, Take of them of the captivity, even held I
of Tobijah, and of Jedidiah, which are come from Babylon,
and come thou the same day. Go into the house of Josiah,
the son of Zephaniah. Then take silver and gold, and
make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua, the son of
Jehozadek, the high priest. and speak unto him, saying, Thus
speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is
the branch, and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall
build the temple of the Lord. Even he shall build the temple
of the Lord, and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and
rule upon his throne, and he shall be a priest upon his throne,
and the council of peace shall be between them both. Naturally you see that we're
going to deal with the Lord, God's branch, the man whose name
is the branch. The historical setting here is
that the Jews were in captivity in Babylon. They stayed there
70 years. And they started letting people
come back and start rebuilding the temple in Jerusalem. And they would send offerings
over and they'd bring offerings over for the building of the
temple at Jerusalem. And there were two people that
were there, Zerubbabel and Joshua. And Joshua was the high priest.
And there in verse 10, he tells us the name of these men. Heldiah,
Tobiah, Jediah are come from Babylon and come with an offering.
The same day they come with silver and gold, silver and gold. And the Lord told Zechariah to
go the same day and meet these three Jews, except the silver
and gold that they brought. And He told them what to do with
it. He said, I want you to make crowns. I want you to make two
crowns. I want you to make one out of
silver, and I want you to make one out of gold. And He said,
I want you to set both of them, both of them upon the head of
Joshua, the son of Jehozadek, who was the high priest. And
so that's what they did. They set the crowns upon the
head of Joshua the high priest. Now this was not done as an honor
upon Josiah or Joshua, but it's a prophetic symbol of one who
was to come. THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, THE ONE
WHO WOULD BEAR MANY CROWNS, MANY, MANY CROWNS, THE ONE THE SCRIPTURES
TELL US THAT ANY CROWNS WE HAVE WHEN WE GET THERE THEY'VE CAST
EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM AT HIS FEET. EVERY PLACE YOU FIND WHERE
ANYBODY HAD A CROWN, WHEN THEY GOT AROUND TO THROW THE LORD
JESUS, EVERY ONE OF THEM THREW THE CROWN AT HIS FEET, EVERY
SINGLE ONE OF THEM. and I'm not especially looking
for a crown, I don't, I've already got, I'm already wealthier than
I ever thought I'd be in Christ. I've already got eternal life,
I've got salvation, I've got the grace of God, got the holy
good, the love of God shed abroad my heart, so why else would I
need? And I'm gonna get to go spend eternity with Him. But
this is a prophetic message, not just about Joshua. about
our Lord Jesus Christ, the one who was to come. And then say
unto him in verse 12, and speak unto him saying, now this is
who you tell Joshua now, speak unto him saying, thus speaketh
the Lord of hosts. Now when he says the Lord of
hosts, I wonder how many hosts there are in heaven. How many
angels? How many legions of angels? How many MIGHTY armies does God
control in glory itself? Our Lord Himself said, He said,
I could call twelve legions of angels, twelve legions of angels. If you think you've got some
power, I could call twelve legions of angels right here, right now.
But oh my! And they said unto him, Behold
the man, that's the first thing, Behold the man whose name is
the branch, whose name is the branch. Now this is talking about
our Lord Jesus Christ, of course, and I've got a couple places
I want to show you. First of all, look in Isaiah
11, talking about this branch. Isaiah 11, before we get into
the message this evening, let's look at a couple of things here.
Isaiah 11, verses one and two. This branch, of course, is our
Lord Jesus Christ. and there shall come forth a
rod out of the stem of Jesse," and listen, a branch, a branch
that shall grow out of his roots, and the Spirit of the Lord is
going to rest on this branch, this rod out of the stem of Jesse,
the branch that shall grow out of his roots, and the Spirit
of the Lord is going to rest upon him, on this branch, "...an
understanding, a spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge,
and the fear of the Lord." Now I want to show you another one
in Zechariah chapter 3 and verse 8. Here s another one, talking
about showing you that this branch is our Lord Jesus Christ. Behold
the man, behold the man, look what he says here in verse 8.
of Zechariah chapter 3 and verse 8, Hear now, O Joshua the high
priest, thou and thy fellows that sit before thee, they are
the men wondered at, behold, I will bring forth my servant,
the branch. So we're talking about, it's
obvious that we're talking about the Lord Jesus Christ, the branch.
And then back here in verse 6, chapter 6, it says, Behold the
man whose name is the branch. First of all, it says He s a
man, but it also says the branch, the branch. He shall grow out of his place,
and he shall build the temple of the Lord. Now, let me tell
you the first thing I understand about a branch. A branch brings
forth fruit, a branch brings forth fruit, and the fruit reveals
the character of the tree. If the tree is a good tree, a
blessed tree, then it shows you the character of the tree. And
our Lord Jesus Christ is Jehovah's branch, and He reveals some truths
and some fruit that comes from His own ministry. First of all,
the branch revealed the character, talking about the character of
His fruit, He revealed the character of His Father. That's the first
thing our Lord Jesus Christ did. And that's why Paul told Timothy,
he said, Great, great, great, great is the mystery of godliness.
God was manifest in the flesh, seen of angels, justified by
the Spirit, and received up into glory. Who was that? This man,
this branch right here. And I tell you, our Lord Jesus
Christ, He revealed the character of His Father, first of all,
by His words. He said, I and my Father are
one. And they said, well, He said,
before Abraham was, I am. He said, you're not yet 50 years
old. Before Abraham was, I am. Before Abraham ever existed,
I was the one that existed. Now, I want you to look with
me in John chapter 7, talking about how He revealed the Father
and the things He said about His Father. John chapter 7 and I think it is verse 14, this
is how our Lord spoke about His Father and how the Jews didn't
understand Him. Now about the midst of the feast,
Jesus went up into the temple and he taught. How many times
did we run across that? And the Jews marveled. We've
seen he's astonished. They've been wondering how knoweth
this man letters, or learning, having never learned. Jesus answered
them, said, my doctrine is not mine. My teaching is not mine.
Well, whose is it this? His that sent me. His that sent
me. If any man will do his will,
he shall know of the doctrine. He shall understand what I'm
saying. He'll grasp what I'm talking about, whether it be
of God or whether I'm talking about myself, if I'm just speaking
of myself. And this is how you can tell
the difference. He that speaketh of himself seeks
his own glory. But he that seeketh the glory
that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in
him. So he said, that's how you can
tell the difference. If a man speaks of himself, he's seeking
his own glory. He said, I'm not seeking my glory,
I'm seeking the Father. What I'm telling you, my doctrine,
comes from God. And he said, if you knew the
doctrine, you'd understand what I'm talking about. Now look over
here in John chapter eight. So this is what he says, how
he identifies himself with his Father. Look in verse 13, not
only did the Lord, as Jehovah s branch, reveal the character
of His Father, but He also lifts what He said. The Jews answered,
verse 13, The Pharisee therefore said unto him, Thou barest record
of thyself, thy record is not true. They was accusing him of,
you know, you're bragging on yourself, you got a record and
you're recording things, you're saying things that's not right,
that's not true, your record's not true. Could you imagine somebody
saying, Christ, you're not true, you're not telling the truth?
What you say is not true? Could you imagine somebody standing
up in front of Christ said, you're not telling the truth? Well,
look what he said. Our Lord asked him, though I
bear record of myself, yet my record is true. For I know where
I came from, and I know where I'm going. And you can't tell
where I come from, and you certainly don't know where I'm going. And yet if I judge, my judgment's
true. For I am not alone, but I and
my Father hath sent me. It's also written in your law
that the testimony of two men is witness. And I am one that
bear witness of myself and the Father that sent me bear witness
of me. And then said they unto him,
where is your father? Where is he? Where is your father?
Our Lord answered him, you'd either know me or you'd know
my father neither. Neither know neither one of us.
If you had known me, if you had known me, you should have known
that I come from my father. So he revealed the father's character
by his words, as got Jehovah's branch, and then by his deeds. Oh, how many deeds did our Lord
do? How many kind, gracious deeds did our Savior do? How many people
did he heal? How many lepers did He cleanse?
How many dead men did He raise? And that's why Nicodemus says,
No man can do the things that you do, except God be with him.
And he said, You know, and that man that was born blind in John
chapter 9 said, Not since the beginning of the world, not since
the beginning of the world has anybody ever been born blind.
receives their sight, never has happened, never has happened.
You know why? Because our Lord's fruit, His
Word and His deeds, He's the branch. And I tell you, beloved,
our Lord Jesus Christ, when He does something, it always works,
and it's always immediate. And He said, As the Father raises
the dead and quickens the thin, even so the Son of Man quickens
whom He will. And so the fruit from this branch
THAT COMES WITH HIS WORDS, IT COMES WITH HIS DEEDS. YOU KNOW,
YOU AND I ARE FRUIT OF THIS BRANCH. WE'RE THE FRUIT OF HIS LOVE,
FRUIT OF HIS GRACE, FRUIT OF HIS COMPASSION, FRUIT OF HIS
MERCY, FRUIT OF HIS HOLINESS, FRUIT OF HIS PITY, FRUIT OF HIS
TRUTH, FRUIT OF HIS LIFE. Philip said, Lord, show us the
Father, and it'll satisfy us. And he said, have I been such
a long time with you, Philip, and you've not seen me? If you've
seen me, you've seen the Father. And all the blessings that come
from our life now, and the blessings for our life now that comes through
our Lord Jesus Christ, the branch, they're good for this life, and
they're good for the life to come. THE FRUIT THAT HE BRINGS
FORTH IS ETERNAL. IT LASTS FOR ETERNITY. AND THEN, OH MY, THE BRANCH AS
A PERSON. LOOK WHAT HE SAID BACK OVER IN
OUR TEXT, BEHOLD THE MAN, BEHOLD THE MAN, BEHOLD THE MAN WHOSE
NAME IS THE BRANCH. AND THE FIRST THING HE SAYS ABOUT
HIM, HE SAID, HE SHALL GROW UP. THIS BRANCH SHALL GROW UP. AND
IT WAS TO SAY, IT SHALL GROW UP OUT OF HIS PLACE. grow up
out of his place. What in the world does that mean?
You know, he says that he is a root out of dry ground and
he shall grow up, shall grow up. What does he mean grow up
out of his place? Well, our Lord Jesus first place
was in glory with his father. He was daily his father's delight. He was with his father and he
was the one by whom God created everything. And yet when He come
into this world, He has to grow up out of His place. You know,
when our Lord was born, the first place that He was born at was
in a little old bitty place called Bethlehem. He was born in a lowly,
lowly place wrapped, they said, you should find the babe wrapped
in swaddling clothes. He was laid in a manger, born
lowly, born so lowly. Here's the King of Glory. Here's
the Eternal God. Here's God that was manifest
in the flesh, put down in such a lowly, lowly place. and Isaiah
is BORN of poor, poor parents. When they went to offer offerings
for him when he was eight days old, and then again when he was
40 days old, you know all they could afford was sparrows. They couldn't afford pigeons.
They couldn't afford a lamb. They just got sparrows. They
had sparrows. They had all kinds of offerings,
and that's all they could afford. They couldn't afford it. They
couldn't go out and buy a lamb. Oh, he was born to poor, poor
parents. He was born in a poor place. And he took the lowest place,
one of humility. And the scriptures tells us he
was so acquainted with sorrow, so acquainted with grief, shame
and rejection. And he went to the cross and
he was buried. He was buried in a grave that
he had to borrow. But he grew up, he grew up to
be despised. grew up to be rejected, grew
up to be lied on, grew up, growed up to be crucified, growed up
to be the one as our substitute, growed up to be a sin offering,
growed up to be a sacrifice for sin, growed up to put the sin
away by the sacrifice of himself. And then they took him down and
buried him in that borrowed tomb. And three days later, he rose
again to his glorious throne in glory. And then not only as
he grew up out of his place, look what else it says about
him here in verse 12. And he shall build the temple
of the Lord. Oh my, you remember and he said,
he'll build the temple of the Lord. God gave Moses the pattern
for the tabernacle. He said, you build it. to the
pattern that I show you. And then Solomon built a temple,
a great temple. You can read about Solomon's
temple. And it took years in building. Gold and brass and,
oh, it was something to behold. It was really something to behold.
And in the tabernacle and in the temple was the place where
God put His name. It's the place where God revealed
Himself, the place of worship. the place where the sin offering
was made, and Christ, He builds His temple. And you know who
His temple are? We're His temple. We're the spiritual,
you know, He builds the spiritual temple, and that temple's us.
You think, I can show you that. Want me to show you that? Look
over in Ephesians chapter two. You know, He says, we're a holy,
Paul told the Corinthians, he said, we're a holy temple. holy
temple built for God to live in, to dwell in. And over here
in Ephesians chapter 2, look what it says over here. Well,
first of all in chapter 1 verse 22, look what it says, And he hath put all things under
his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the
church, which is his body. He's the fullness of that body,
and he fills all that body. They don't build themselves.
And then look here in chapter 19 of chapter two. Now therefore ye are no more
strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints,
and of the household of God." Now listen to this, "...and are
built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus
Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom all the
built fitly framed together groweth into a holy temple in the LORD,
in whom also ye are builted together for a habitation of God through
the Spirit." God built, He built this, He builds the church. Church
ain't got no life apart from Christ. You know, He told Simon
Peter, He said, Upon this rock I'll build my church. And He
said, The gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And as
Eve came from the side of Adam, when God put him to sleep and
took Eve from his side, the church came from the side, the blood
of our Lord Jesus Christ, the church of God, which he purchased
with his own blood. And then look what it says. He
shall build the temple of the Lord in verse 13. Even he shall
build the temple of the Lord, and listen to this now, and he
shall bear the glory. He gonna bear the glory of the
temple. Who else is gonna get the glory?
He shall bear the glory of this temple. That's just so obvious, ain't
it? That's just so obvious for us. I mean, you know, He shall
bear the glory. Oh my, He has the responsibility
to bear all that's necessary of it. The new temple will be
all by Him and all in Himself. Oh, our Lord Jesus Christ said
the glory, He shall bear the glory. And what glory does He
bear? Well, first and foremost, He
bears the glory to be our Redeemer. Our Lord Jesus Christ came into
this world to redeem us from our sins, to redeem us from this
evil world, to redeem us from our bondage and everything that
s against us. He came to shed His blood, to
pay the price, to let us go free, and oh my! Then He came, not
only did He redeem us, then He came and actually applied that
redemption. He came into this world to SAVE
us, Now He bears all the glory of
our salvation. To what? Who maketh us to differ? He bears all the glory of salvation. I'll tell you what, it's a sad,
sad thing that anybody would try to rob God of His glory and
think that they had anything to add to it. I've seen something,
I don't remember who it was, John Burrage or somebody, they
said the only thing, Jonathan Edwards said, the only thing
we contribute to our salvation is our sin, and the only thing
nobody can deal with it is the Lord Jesus Christ. We have nothing,
nothing that we can contribute to God Almighty, and that's why
He gets all the glory. He gets all the glory. God, unto
Christ be the glory, both now and forever, and amen. And I
tell you what, He has all the glory as our mediator. You know,
as a mediator, a mediator, and people do this all the time,
You know, when they're having a divorce or somebody works for
a company and they get into a lawsuit or something with the company,
they bring in a mediator, and they try to get them to come
to terms with one another, try to get this one to compromise
that one. Conrad, you do this and he'll do that. Well, listen,
Christ is our mediator, and He did not say, you know what He
done? He brought God and man together,
and He mediates between, you know, a mediator is between two. God only has one mediator, and
that's the Lord Jesus Christ. And I tell you what, and He,
as our mediator, He's already established what it takes for
us to be saved. Already established how we approach
God. Already established how we can
call on God. Already established how we're
to approach Him. Already established how we're
accepted in the beloved. Oh, He didn't leave this up to
us. We need a mediator. And oh my, let me show you something
in Isaiah chapter 22, talking about His glory. Talking about
His glory. Isaiah 22, you know. Oh, he's the one that's crowned.
You know, talk about Joshua being crowned. He's the one that has
the crown. He's the one that has the crown. Look what he said in verse 23
of Isaiah, chapter 22 and verse 23. And I will fasten him as a nail
in a sure place, and he shall be for a glorious throne to his
father's house. Now listen to this. And they
shall hang upon him all the glory of his father's house, all the
offspring, all the issues, every vessel, I don't care how small
it is or how great it is, even the cups to the vessels of flagons. I mean, he bears all the vessels.
He bears that from the least vessel to the greatest vessel.
He said, Oh, God said, I'm going to hang on him, all my glory,
hang all my glory on him, on him. Now look what else it says
about him here in verse 13 of Zechariah. Not only shall he bear, build
a temple, He shall bear the glory of that temple. He'll bear the
glory of everything that happens in this world. And you know that's
what it says about His name. God will give Him a name above
every name. And that every knee should bow and everyone should
confess to the glory of God. And look what it says here now.
And He shall set and rule upon His throne. It just gets better
and better. Huh? He shall SET! He's going
to bear the glory, going to build that temple, and then He's going
to have SET and RULE upon His throne. How did He get to this
throne? He went by way of a cross. He
had to SUFFER to enter into His glory. And I tell you what, He'll
have His throne. He must reign, He must reign
till every enemy is destroyed. He said, After He by Himself
purged our sins, He sat down on the right hand of the Majesty
on high. And you know, He going to SIT
and RULE on His throne, and I'm so thankful. And then look what
else it says, He shall sit and rule upon His throne, and He
shall be a PRIEST upon His throne. So He's going to have TWO POSITIONS
on His throne. He's going to rule as a KING,
and He's going to rule as a PRIEST. He said, Thou shall be a priest
forever after the order of Mechizedek. Let me tell you something about
priest. And you all already know this, but priest in the tabernacle
and in the temple, they never had a place to sit down. They
started offering sacrifice early in the morning and they didn't
quit till late in the evening. All day long, offering sacrifice
all day long. They never had a place in that
temple, in that tabernacle to sit down. There was not a seat.
You know why? Because their work was never
done. Our Lord Jesus Christ sat down because His work's done. It's finished. He sat down. Huh? He offered a sacrifice. It satisfied God. He offered
a sacrifice. It sanctified His people forever.
He offered a sacrifice. It puts Him away once forever.
That's why He don't have to get up and do another one. He sat
down. No more work to do. No more offerings to be made.
And Christ, the priest never said, but Christ is our high
priest that's on his throne. A king provides for his people. And a priest provides for his
spiritual needs. And he is crowned king. He is
crowned priest to bear our needs before his father. And then look
what else it says right here. And the last thing, and the council
of peace shall be between them both. Council of peace between
who? The priest and the king. The
king and the priest, they're together. Now under the Old Testament,
a man could be a king and a prophet. He could be a priest and he could
be a prophet. But he couldn't be a king and
a priest at the same time. Well, our Lord Jesus Christ is
both king and priest. And I tell you, the peace between
them both, they establish peace for us. The king and the priest,
they're perfect. They're perfect. And I tell you
what, as a king, our Lord Jesus Christ subdues us, makes us feel
the guilt, the burden of our sin, and as our priest, he atones
by his blood, and this sacrifice, this blood applied to the conscience,
that's where he applies it. And you know, when we know this
peace, the peace already been established, we'll know peace,
we'll know peace when we submit to Christ our King, And when
we know that our high priest has offered a sacrifice once
and for all and once in the end of the world and put away sin
by the sacrifice of himself. Our father. Our blessed, blessed
God, thank you for your mercy. Oh, your mercy is so abundant.
It's forever. Thank you for your patience.
Thank you for your pity. Thank you for your love and your
compassion. Thank you for your great longsuffering.
Oh, Lord, where would I be? Where would we be without your
longsuffering? You with the longsuffering endure the wicked, And Lord, with longsuffering,
you suffer long with us, suffer long with me. And I pray that
you'd be pleased to bring glory to yourself through this body
of believers. Meet the needs of every home.
Have mercy upon our loved ones. We ask in Christ's name, amen. Let's sing number 42, and then
you're at liberty to go home. Forty-two, let's stand and sing
this together. Bring forth the royal diadem
and crown him Lord of all. All hail the power of Jesus'
name Let angels prostrate fall Bring forth the royal diadem
and crown Him ? Bring forth the royal diadem
? Ye chosen seed of Israel's race
? Ye ransomed from the fall ? Him who saves you by his grace
? ? Crown him Lord of all ? ? Hail him who saves you by his grace
? ? And crown him Lord of all ? Let's do that fourth verse.
Oh, that with yonder sacred throne we at His feet may fall, we'll
join the everlasting song and crown ? Join the everlasting Lord ? And
crown Him Lord of all Good night, God bless, and I'll see you Wednesday,
Lord willing.
