Talk about Solomon, the queen
of Sheba. You know, our Lord said in Matthew
12, 42, I'll read it to you, you don't have to look at it.
But it said, the queen of the south, talking about Sheba, shall
rise up in the judgment with this generation and shall condemn
it. For she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the
wisdom of Solomon. And behold, a greater than Solomon
is here. And you know, when I read these
verses, I hope you've seen the gospel. Seen the things that
happens here. In fact, she said down in verse
7, Behold, the half was not told me. The half was not told me. Solomon had a lot of wealthy, wealthy men. And I tell you, I want you to
see, let me read this again so you can follow along with me,
but let me read it again. And when the king of Sheba, queen
of Sheba, heard the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the Lord,
she came to prove him with hard questions. And she came to Jerusalem
with a very great train, with camels that bear spices and very
much gold, precious stones. And when she was come to Solomon,
she communed with all that was in her heart. And Solomon told
her all her questions. There was not anything he had
from the king which was told her not. So let's see what this
Queen of Sheba, this Queen of the South. She was wealthy herself. She had a great train following
her and brought all kinds of stuff to the king. Had lots and
lots of servants. But she heard about Solomon.
She heard about Solomon. And look what she heard about
him there in verse one. She heard of the fame, the fame
of Solomon. She heard the fame of Solomon.
What did she hear about him? He was a famous man all over
the world. Most famous king in the world
at that time. And she heard his fame. Look
what it says next there concerning the name of the Lord. That's
the first thing she heard about him. said, this man knows something
about God. And God knows something about
this man. She heard the name concerning the name of the Lord.
And you know, that's what God did to him. When Solomon, he
was just a young man, very young man, when he took over the kingdom
after his father David had died. David wanted Solomon to be king,
but God wanted him to be king. And Solomon had lots of glory.
But he had a lot of fame, too. And she said, when she came,
she said, oh my. She said, what? She said, I've
heard about you, and I've heard the name of your Lord. I've heard
the name of God Almighty. I've heard that the Lord's done
wonderful things for you. I've heard that the Lord has
made you wise. I've heard the Lord has made
you wealthy. I've heard the Lord has made your name to be known
everywhere. And if there's there anybody,
anybody anywhere that would consider the fame, and if Solomon was
famous, concerned the name of the Lord, what about our Lord
Jesus Christ? And all that about, he's not
only the name, got a name that's famous, but his name's above
every name. His name, beloved, has got more
power, got more glory, And in fact, there's not any place that
you can go on the face of the earth where you can't hear the
name of the Lord Jesus Christ. You can't hear it from everybody,
but there's people everywhere that knows the Lord Jesus Christ. And then look what else she said.
She heard about his wisdom. She heard about his wisdom and
his power. You know, look what it says down
in verse six. She heard about thy acts and
thy wisdom. Oh my, all thy wisdom. He was
known for his wisdom and his power. And everything that he
was was because of what God had done for him. And I tell you,
keep 1 Kings and look over here in chapter three in verse nine.
Look in chapter three in verse nine. You know Solomon, he got his wisdom and power from
God. He said in verse 8, And thy servant
is in the midst of thy people, which thou hast chosen. God has
a chosen people, a great people that cannot be numbered for the
multitude. Christ saved a multitude that
cannot be numbered. Give therefore thy servant an
understanding, watch it says in the margin, a hearing heart,
that to judge thy people that I may discern between good and
bad, for who is able to judge this thy people? And it pleased
the Lord that Solomon asked this thing. And God said unto him,
because thou hast asked this thing and hast not asked for
thyself long life, Neither hast thou asked riches for thyself,
nor asked for the life of your enemies, but you've asked for
thyself to understanding and to journey. And so God said,
I'm gonna give you a heart of that. So everything that Solomon
had, God gave to him. Everything Solomon had, his fame,
his power, his glory, his wealth, his understanding, his wisdom,
he all got them from God. But behold, a greater than Solomon
is here. God gave Solomon his wisdom,
but Christ himself is the wisdom of God. You know, he's the one
that's got the wisdom. Solomon got his wisdom from the
Lord Jesus Christ. Solomon got his power from the
Lord Jesus Christ. Solomon got his glory from the
Lord Jesus Christ. So if everything he got from
Christ, and so if Christ has everything, then what do we have
when we got from Christ? If we got any sense, he gave
it to us. Christ is made unto us what? Wisdom? How in the world
are you going to know anything about God without Christ being
made you wisdom? How are you going to understand
the scriptures without Christ being made you wisdom? How are
you going to have any power with God unless Christ gives you that
power? How are you going to have a new
birth unless Christ gives you that power? Oh, listen, Christ
is the wisdom of God. Then look what else she heard.
She heard of his fame, concerning the name of the Lord, word of
his wisdom and his power and his glory. But oh my, his glory
and power. Lord Jesus said, you know Solomon,
all his glory. He looked at a bunch of flowers
out in the field one day and he said, Solomon, all his glory.
Ain't dressed up like his flowers are. And he said, I was the one
that put them flowers there. Solomon has some glory, but there
ain't no glory to what you can see and what God does in his
own creation You know And I tell you look what she heard about
the fame of his riches Look down verse 20 21 with me. She heard
about the fame of his riches Listen to this now and all the
King Solomon's drinking vessels were of gold and If he picked
up something to drink out of, his gold. And all the vessels of the house
of the four subliminant were of pure gold. I mean, he had
gold all over the place. And none were of silver. Silver didn't mean nothing to
him. It was nothing accounted in the
days of Solomon. He has so much wealth that he
didn't even think silver was worth even mentioning. Don't
show it around the house. We don't need no silver around
here. It's all gold. And this is something, you know,
that I don't understand about people. They keep talking about
going and walking on streets of gold. I don't care if the
streets was made out of, I don't care what they're made out of.
I'm going to glory to see Christ. That's why I don't care what
the streets are made out of. You know, we live in a world
out here that's perishing, and oh listen, a world that's just
fading away, and we're fading away with it. What difference
does it make? We're living in a world with
potholes everywhere we drive. But listen, when we get there,
who cares what road it is? When we get out of this world,
it'll be with Christ! Huh? We want to see Him on His
throne. She comes to see Solomon on His
throne. We want to see Christ on His
throne. And she heard of the fame of
His riches. Listen, let me tell you something. Who is richer
than our Lord Jesus Christ? Who's got more wealth than He
does? It says the riches of His glory. Nobody has got more glory. Nobody's wealthier in glory than
the Lord Jesus Christ. You know what, that's what God
said He'd get. God put all of His glory in His
blessed Son. I read to you there Wednesday
night about, you know, when Peter was preaching, he said, God sent
Christ into this world and God gave the gospel to glorify His
Son from the beginning of the world. The only reason God made
this world was to glorify His Son. The only reason He sent
Him to live in this world was to glorify His Son. The only
reason He died on a cross and bore our sins was to glorify
His Son. The only reason you and I are
saved is to glorify His Son. Now you tell me anybody's got
any more glory than that. Is anybody you want to give any
glory to more than the Lord Jesus Christ? Huh? He said don't let no man glory
in his flesh. Anybody here glorying in their
flesh today? You got anything to brag about? No, no, if we're
going to glorify anybody and bring honor to anybody, it's
going to be our Lord Jesus Christ. Ain't that right? Not only is
he richer and got more glory than anybody else, but he's called
the riches of Christ. These folks talk about having
Millions of dollars, homes worth millions of dollars and hundreds
of millions of dollars and all that. That ain't nothing, Christ
owns the world. And I'll tell you what, people
can, listen, the wealthiest man in the world, he's a pauper compared
to the riches we have in Christ. I'd rather have what I have in
Christ to have all the money in this world and all the gold
in this world. Because you can't buy what Christ
has done for us. You can't pay for what Christ
has done for us. And that brings me to another
thing. The riches of His grace. Oh my. He gives us grace. And then He gives us some more.
When we're down, He gives us grace. When we're weak, He gives
us grace. When we're hurt, He gives us
grace. When we're depressed, He gives us grace. Grace, He
gives us grace. He's rich in grace, and He's
got enough for 10,000 worlds like this. In fact, He's got
so much grace that the scriptures tells us that He saved a multitude
that no man can number 10,000 times 10,000. That's a lot of grace, ain't it? Oh, bless his holy name.
Oh my. And then she heard the fame of
his words and his wisdom. Look down here now in verse six. Look what she said here now.
And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard
in mine own land of thy words, thy acts, thy sayings, and thy
wisdom. She heard about his sayings.
She heard about the books, you know, he got a whole book of
Proverbs. He wrote all the Ecclesiastes. And she said, I heard about all
these sayings that you got, all the words that you spoke. I've
heard about them. Oh my. And look down at verse 24, look
what she says down here. Look what it says now. And all
the earth sought to Solomon to hear his wisdom, listen to this,
which God had put in his heart. Oh my. She heard the fame of
his wisdom, the fame of his words. They sent a whole bunch of people
to take the Lord Jesus Christ one day. And they come back and said,
oh, the Pharisee said, why didn't you take him? She said, well,
he got to talking. He got to preaching. And we had
to stand there. And listen, never met a spake
like that man before. I've never met a spank like that
man before. And then, you know, one time he was teaching there
and around a bunch of them and they jumped up and said, now
wait a minute, where did you get your learning from? He said,
I don't know, you know, I went over to Gamale School and I went
over to that seminary and I went over to that seminary and I went
over to that college, but where did you get your learning from?
Where you reckon? Oh my, the words of His wisdom. You know, over in 1 Corinthians
3 and 18, it says there that God tells the wisdom of this
world to be absolutely foolish. And the words of this, He said
He takes the wise in their own craftiness. But He said all things
are yours. God made the world to save His
elect. Everything that's ever been done
in this world, from any kind of medicine that's been invented,
for any kind of airplane, any kind of transportation, everything's
been done. God done it for His elect, and the world benefits
for what He done for His people. Ain't that right? Had to start
out with an old wooden wheel. And now we can get up in an airplane
and go from one side of the country to the other. I can go all over
the world if I want to just like that. And God made that so his preachers
could get from here to yonder and everybody else gets to ride
on the plane. I'm telling you the truth. I'm telling you the truth. Listen,
and he said, the world's yours, life is yours, death is yours,
Christ is yours, and Christ is God's. So if we're Christ, and
Christ is God's, and we've got life in Him, and when we die,
we die with Him, and die in Him, and go to be with Him, and everything
in this world God made for His people. And everybody else gets
to enjoy it. I'm telling you the truth. Listen,
I had no problem telling that. Well, we've seen what she saw
and what she heard. She heard about his fame with
the Lord, his wisdom, his words. But look what she did. Look what
she did. She didn't make light of it.
When she heard the fame, the Queen of Sheba heard the fame
of Solomon. And she came to prove him with hard questions. And
look what it says down here in verse seven. I want you to see
this. She said, how be it I believe
not the words that I heard about you until I came and my own eyes
seen it. I didn't believe anything about
you. I didn't believe it until I came and seen it. And when
you, until you see Christ, you say, I didn't believe, but now
I see. I had to come and see for myself.
I had to hear for myself. Oh, my. And listen, she said
the half wasn't even told me. She said, when I got here, I
understood so much more. Oh, she didn't make light of
it. You know, when our Lord says, you know, the king made a marriage
for his son. And then it says in Matthew 22,
he made a marriage for his son. And he bid everybody to come
and have the table spread and all that. And you know what?
It says, you know, he said, this woman was asked, that was asked.
But you know what it says in Matthew 22, 5? It says, and they
all made light of it. Here this king had this son,
and he wants to have a marriage for him. And everybody said,
oh, there ain't nothing to that. I ain't got time to go. It's
not serious enough. Well, she wasn't like that. She
said, I've heard about you. I've heard of your fame. And
I could not believe until I... I did not believe what they said
about you. But now I've seen it myself.
I understand myself. And then she came to prove him
with hard questions there in verse one. Wonder what kind of
questions she asked him. What kind of questions do you
reckon she asked? What's your God like? This God
that gave you this wisdom, gave you this glory, gave you this
power. What's he like? Tell me about him. What kind
of God is he? I know the kind of God we got
down in our country. I know the kind of God that we carry around
on our camels. I know the kind of God that they
have in other places. But what's your God like? Solomon
said, oh my God, he's got all power. He is sovereign. He brought a whole nation out
of Egypt. And he split the Red Sea and
they walked through old dry ground He said, oh, he has all power
in heaven and earth. And all of these enemies, I'll
tell you, Pharaoh said, we got them, we got them, we got them.
And God said, listen, Pharaoh, I raised you up for one reason,
to show you my power, to show you my authority. And he started
talking about God. She said, oh, my. He said, my God's in the heavens.
You know what He does? Whatever pleases Him. Huh? Look over yonder in the sea and
all them deep places. What's He doing? Whatever He
pleases. Well, then she says, well, if
a man dies, shall he live again? If he's got my God, he will. He don't, he won't. Shall a man,
shall a man, when a man dies, shall he live again? Well, I'm
going to tell you what Solomon said. He said, yes, yes he will. Every man's going to live again
somewhere. But he says this, in his favor,
in his grace is life. In Christ's grace is life. Outside
of Him, there is no life. Outside of Him, there's no help.
Outside of Him, there's no book. But I'm telling you, here's the
thing about it. This is the most blessed thing
to think about. That the minute a believer leaves this world,
closes his eyes, I mean, he draws his last breath. If he belongs
to Christ, the scripture says to be absent from the body is
to be present with the Lord. If a man dies, is he going to
live again? Oh, he's going to live again.
And then there's coming a time, bless the Lord, there's coming
a time when God comes, Christ comes back and that trumpet blows. And all the dead in Christ shall
rise first. Out of them graves. People that's
just dust now. been dust for thousands of years. They're going to be brought up
out of the grave and given a body like Christ. And they which are
alive and remain changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye. And
you know what it says, so shall we ever be with the Lord. How could anybody be afraid of
that? Oh my, and then here's another
question, hard question she asked him. Since your God's like He
is, holy and righteous and sovereign and got all power, well how in
the world can a man be just with that God? How can a man be just with Him?
If this God is the way you say He is, And he's got all power. Well, how in the world am I going
to be right with him? How am I going to have acceptance
with him? How am I going to be just in
his sight? And she said, there's a man. The Messiah's coming. And it says there that he'd be
wounded for our transgressions. He'd be bruised for our iniquity.
Chastisement of our peace would be laid upon him. And God would
make his soul an offering for sin. But they started out asking
this question. Who hath believed thy report?
And to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? And I tell you
what. God said he saw the travail of
his soul. That Messiah's soul. He said
he's coming. And then he's come. And then the Messiah comes. You
know what he said? God shall see the travail of
his soul and shall be satisfied. And so Christ satisfied God. And for everybody that believes
on Christ, trusts Christ, God's satisfied with you and everything
you ever thought, said, or done. Now that's right. And what the scripture says,
we're complete in Him who's the head of all principalities and
powers. One last question she might have asked him. Well, how
can a man be born again? How can a man, if he's going
to live again, how can he be born again? Oh, my. Well, our Lord said with man,
this is impossible. It's an impossibility. How can
a man be born again? How can he have new life? You gotta do just exactly like
Queen Yeshiva done. She came to hear Solomon. You
got to come hear about Christ. Instead of hearing about the
glory of Solomon, the glory of man, hear about the glory of
Christ. When Christ comes and the Holy
Spirit comes in power, you know what He does? He takes out, that's
why she said, you know, I heard about it, but I had to come see
it for myself. I had to see it for myself, I had to hear for
myself. And here's the thing, you gotta hear for yourself.
And when God, when the Holy Spirit comes, He takes Christ. and He
breaks down the walls and the powers of your mind and your
heart, and He creates a new mind and a new heart, and creates
a new creature, and beloved, you're not the person you used
to be, not by no stretch of the imagination. If you was the person
you used to be, you know what, you wouldn't be here right now. If you was that natural man like
you was before God saved you, you wouldn't be here. Oh my, well let me tell you,
then look what it says. Not only did she not make light
of it, but she came to him. She came to him. She didn't come
just to Israel, she came to Solomon. She didn't think about coming.
She didn't say, well, listen, that's a long journey. I don't
know if I've got the time. I don't know if I've got the
energy. I don't know if it's important enough. I don't know
if I've got the means. I've heard about it, but I don't
know whether it's worth going there and seeing. I don't know
if it'd make any difference or not. I believe I'll just stay
at the house, and I'll just, you know, I'll just go and hear
it about Solomon. I'll just stay home, and I'll just hear about
Solomon, and that'll be enough for me. No, no. She said, I'm gonna go where
he is. I'm gonna go where he is. Oh,
my. All that the Father gives me,
what they gonna do? They gonna come to me. Everyone
that hath heard and learned of the Father comes unto me. And
then look what it says there, down in verse two, down in the
last part of the verse. And when she was come to Solomon,
listen to this now, she communed with him of all that was in her
heart. His heart and hers, they start
communing. Huh? Ain't that what Christ does for
us? Don't He commune with the heart? Don't He speak to our
hearts? You know, it gets past our ear
and it gets to our heart. It gotta go through here, but
as it goes through there, it comes right through these emotions.
It comes through these affections. It comes through this will. It
comes through it all in our hearts. And then we commune with Him.
We commune right back with Him. We commune right back with Him.
You think about that. She said she communed. with Him,
and oh my, and look what it says, with all that was in her heart, she exposed her heart to Him,
she didn't have to, because it says down in the next verse,
and Solomon told her all of her questions, answered every question
she had, and watch this, there was not anything hid from the
King, anything that was going on in this woman's life, which
he told her not. He told her everything she knew
about herself. It's like the woman at the well.
And the Lord said, go call your husband. She said, oh, I don't
have one. She said, our Lord said, you've
told the truth. He said, you've had five. You've
had five husbands. And the one you've got now is
not one of yours. He's not your husband. Oh my
goodness, she said, man. She left her water pot. forgot
about what she was doing, and she run and told, said, come
see a man that told me all things ever I did. And you know, that's
what's so wonderful. Christ comes and he gets in our
hearts. You know, I don't know how many
people's come to me and said, listen, Bruce Daly, you say this
all the time, he said, You've been in my mailbox, ain't you?
Wouldn't I be appreciative? He said, you've been in my, you
read my mail. He'd say, listen, you spoke just
where my thoughts were, where my intentions were, where my
motives was, what I intended to do, what I wanted to do, and
what I, oh, he said, you just read my mail today. Has that
ever happened to you? You get to asking questions about
something in the scriptures. You get to thinking about it
and reading about it. Nine times out of ten, when you come to
a service, the preacher will preach on something and give
you some sense about that. Because you know why? God knows.
I don't know, you don't know, but God knows. And that's why
I said, she communed with all that was in her heart. And he
told her questions. Told her questions. That's why
Mary said, you know, an angel comes and said, you're gonna
have a child. She said, how can these things be? God said, she's gonna have a
child. And then look what she saw, I've got to hurry. Look
what she saw. Verse 4, start down there in
verse 4. And when the queen of Sheba has
seen all Solomon's wisdom. Seen all of his wisdom. Seen
his wisdom. Solomon's wisdom. Listen, we sing amazing grace,
and it is, it is amazing. It truly is amazing grace. of all these years that we've
sung then. All the years we've talked about
God's grace. All the years we've preached
on the grace of God. The wisdom of God in salvation
always amazes us who have come to Christ. It's amazing that
God would choose us. No, you've not chosen me, but
I've chosen you. Chose us in Christ before the
foundation of the world. That's amazing! Accepted in the
beloved, that's amazing. Made holy and without blame before
Christ in love, that's amazing. Without spot and without blemish,
that's amazing. Complete in Christ, perfect in
Christ, that's amazing. And then look what else it says
about her. In the house. And his house, she said, oh my,
what a house this man has. What a house he has. What a house
he has. You keep this and look with me
in Hebrews 3. You keep 1 Kings 10, look with me in Hebrews 3. You need to see this over here,
Hebrews 3. Oh, she saw his wisdom, she saw the house that he built.
She saw the house that he built. Oh my, what a house. Look what it says here in Hebrews
3 and verse 4. Every house is built by some
man, but he that built all things is God. And Moses really was
faithful, truly faithful in his house, and his house means his
generation as a servant. And he just to be a testimony,
as a testimony of things which will be spoken after. But now
listen to this, but Christ as a son over his own house, whose
house are we? Who built this house? God did. Who built this house? Christ
did. What house are you living in? Christ. My I let well look back over
here So I guess I first Kings 10, but then look what it says
next down there in verse 5 And she saw the meat of his table
She saw his table And the meat could you and you know, you can
go over and read what all Solomon had every day and how tell you
what when his table was set and He didn't have, oh, sorry, food. Don't know. I mean, Southern
women can cook. Oh, my goodness. I'm telling
you. And I've ate a lot of meals,
but there's nobody ever set a table like Solomon did. He's the king. He's the king. He's like David, you know, and
Mephibosheth sitting at the king's table. These are sitting at the
king's table. Listen, can you imagine his provisions? Oh, what
was provided for them people? I remember I was coming home
after I was first, I just got to come home and leave one time
out of the Marine Corps for 20 days. And when I went back, I
spent the night in an Air Force barracks. And now the Marines, you didn't
have much food. I ate C-rations all the time
I was in Vietnam. But anyway, I went to that Air
Force place, and when I got up that next morning to eat, they
had ham, they had bacon, they had sausage, they had gravy,
they had biscuits, they had every kind of juice you could, I mean,
man, you could eat, you could eat. I've never seen such food.
That ain't nothing compared to what Solomon had. And you know,
listen, God, look what God sets the tables with. You know what
he puts right in the center of the table? You know what's right
in the center? Everybody wants the best thing
to meet goes right in the center. Well, I'm telling you something.
Grace, God sent grace right in the middle of the table. Then
he said, justification over here, forgiveness over there, righteousness
over here, and holiness over there. He set the table. It said
freedom over here, and blessedness over there, and strength over
here. Oh, he set the table. Oh, did
he set the table. And I tell you what, Joe says
all the time, he said, I need sideboards for my plate. He sat
there before and he said, listen, the Lord's plated my plate up
so much I need side boards for it. And every once in a while,
God will feed us that way. Oh my. And then look what else
it has here. Oh, he's everything for us. Then
look what it says. Then she saw his guest. She saw his servants. And look
what it says about his servants. And the servants were sitting. They're sitting down. Oh my. You know, we're resting
too. We're sitting down too. Where
are we sitting at? In heavenly places in Christ.
Seated in heavenly places with Christ. Oh my. Oh, their position, they were
sitting. And then look what else it says. And then she saw their
apparel. I said nobody I've never seen
anybody dress his service like that And I Lord Jesus Christ. I'll tell you what When I look
at you all, I see the clothes that you got on, but I tell you
something else I see. I see every one of you in Christ
with His righteousness on and His blessed righteousness on.
I see what you got on bodily, but I see beyond that. I see
that your clothes, you got the most glorious apparel, that there
is the righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ. Oh, what an apparel. And then look what else he said.
Oh my, continually to hear his wisdom. Look what it says down
in verse 8. Happy are thy men, happy are
these thy servants, which stand continually before thee. And
listen to this, and then get to hear what you've got to say. Oh, they're happy, they're blessed,
they have great pleasure. And then look what else she saw
in verse five, down in the middle of the verse, after they saw
their apparel, these cupbearers, and look what else she saw. And
oh my, she saw his ascent, the way he went up under the house
of the Lord. She saw the way he carried himself. He carried himself like the king. She said, look how he carries
himself. Look how he walks. Look how magnificent
he walks. And you know, in Bunyan's holy
war, when Emmanuel came and ascended the throne in Mansoul, ascended
the throne, the heart, all the people in the city of Mansoul,
they watched how Emmanuel walked. And they said, well, he stepped
right there, so I won't step there. He stepped right there,
I won't step there. And that's what they do. They
wanted to walk in the steps of Emmanuel. And that's why she
said, when he ascended up, and you imagine what our Lord Jesus
Christ was when he ascended up. Oh my. Oh, she said, the way
he carried himself, walk in Emmanuel's steps. And then look what happened
to her. Look what happened to her. As she ascended, the way he went
up under the house of the Lord. That's where he goes. That's
where he's going. He's going up to worship God. Going up to
worship the Lord. And then she was humbled. It
says, and there was no more spirit in her. She just humbled her. She saw Solomon, his wisdom.
She saw everything about Solomon. She said, man, in his presence,
I'm nothing. I'm nobody. of nobody. No spirit in her. It's like Paul
on the Damascus road. God put him down. Daniel said,
my coming has turned into corruption. She was humble. She was humble.
And then she prayed. She gave praise to God. Look
what it said in verse 9. Blessed be Thy God, the Lord
thy God. Listen to this now. Wish delighted
in thee. This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. God
delighted in you. God delights in His Son. And oh my, and then what does
she say? To set thee on the throne. Oh my, God gave Christ. He said,
set thou in my right hand. Set on my throne in my right
hand. Christ sits on a throne right now. On a throne right
now. And look what it said. Because
the Lord loved Israel, because the Lord loved His people. Oh
my. And He loved them. How long is
He going to love them? Forever. Forever. Therefore made He King. And He made Christ King to do
what? Judgment and justice. Oh my. And it was a true report,
she said, that I've heard about you. And then look what she gave
to the king. She says, oh my, this king is
something. I got to give him. She gave the
king gold, spices. She said, oh my, she gave. And
I'll tell you what, all Christ would have from us is our heart. If He gets our heart, He's got
us all. If He gets our heart, He's got
us. I am my Beloved's and my Beloved
is mine. Amen. Our Father, in the blessed name
of Christ our Lord, thank you for allowing us to come here
today, oh, to hear about our blessed Lord. A greater than
Solomon is here. Oh, what a greater than Solomon.
And you said this queen, she'd rise in judgment. She'd rise
in judgment to condemn those because a greater than Solomon
is here. Lord, we bless you for your gospel.
Bless you for your precious word. Bless you for your people that
delights in your word. Bless you that you set the table
for us and meet the needs of our hearts, the needs of our
understanding, the needs of our soul. We bless you and praise
you in Christ's name. Amen. Turn your eyes upon Jesus. will follow in His wonderful
ways. And the things of earth will
grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace. God willing, I'll see you tonight.
Don't forget our meeting. Don't miss tonight's service.
Our meeting starts Friday. Good afternoon. See you Sunday.
I mean, next Friday. No, tonight. I'll meet you tonight.
Listen, I'm all shook up.
