Genesis 43 and 44. Now, Gary's here, Shirley's here,
and Bill Kirkpatrick made it out tonight. And you know, we
could have up to 10 people in the service, and we've got plenty
of room for folks to sit long, way, way apart. You know, you
could really do your social distancing here. But I want to talk tonight
about Benjamin's salvation. Benjamin's salvation. You know,
God's ways are not our ways. Not even comparable. We're creatures
of time. God's eternal. He's infinite. We're creatures of senses. Our
senses and our emotions and our feelings control us and our emotions
control us so very much in our lives. But nothing, nothing influences
God. He does not affect it by feelings. He's not affected by emotions
the way you and I are. You know, when we see somebody
in trouble, we can be touched and ask for mercy for them. But
when God shows mercy, He does it because it's His nature. It's
His nature. And He's not influenced by anything.
Not by senses, not by time, not by anything in the emotions. He's not influenced by anything.
We're creatures of flesh. Flesh. Weak, weak flesh, but
he's spirit, pure, absolute spirit. We're limited in every way. We're
limited to time and space, right here, right now. I'm in this
particular time and I can only occupy this space. But God inhabits
eternity. He's not bound by time. He's
not bound by space. But I can only be in one place
at one time. But God can be in all places
at all times. And He, beloved, knows everything
that's going on in this world. And that's what I'm talking about.
He is so infinitely above anything that we are. And I tell you,
He's not bound by anything. And because the great difference
in us, that's why salvation is so profound. That's why we say,
how could God be just and justify a sinner like me and like you? This salvation is profound when
you think about an eternal God. who is not bound by anything,
not influenced by anything, who is a law unto himself. And He,
beloved, sees all things, knows all things, and declared all
things before anything ever existed. Everything that happens in time,
He ordained it to happen. He predestinated it to happen.
He purposed it to happen. And yet, beloved, that's why
it's so profound. Our salvation is so profound.
When you think about the wisdom, and the power, and the holiness,
and the glory, and the justice of God Himself, and the mercy,
and the grace, and how He manifested all of that in His blessed Son
coming into this world, coming into this world. and identifying
himself with us to satisfy God. Oh, what a profound thing. It's so glorious, so glorious. We'll never get over this business
of being saved by the Lord Jesus Christ, by God Almighty, by His
precious blood and righteousness. So in looking at Benjamin tonight
I want to look at Benjamin another picture Old Testament picture
of Christ in a salvation of a sinner and I tell you what we have a
picture of salvation And here's the situation. Joseph is the
ruler. Joseph is the exalted man. He's
the one that's got all the wealth. He's the one that's got all the
power. He's the one that's got the clothes. He's the one that's
got the food. Joseph has everything. These
men have nothing except what Joseph lets them have. And so
Joseph required, when he let his brethren, though they didn't
know he was his brethren, go back down to his father's house.
And it said here in the first three verses here, I want you
to Read this and follow along with me now. And the famine was
soaring the land and it came to pass when they had eaten up
the corn which they had brought out of Egypt. Now this is the
children of Israel down there with their father back down in
Canaan. Their father said unto them, Go again, buy us a little
food. And Judas spake unto him, saying, The man did solemnly
protest unto us, saying, Ye shall not see my face, except your
brother be with you. And if thou wilt send our brother
with us, we will go down and buy thee food. But if thou wilt
not send him, we will not go down. For the man said unto us,
Ye shall not see my face, except your brother be with you. So
he required when they come back, don't come back. Don't come back
up here. You ain't gonna see me. You're
not gonna get nothing from me unless you bring your brother
with you. And their brother Joseph didn't even know existed. And
his name was Benjamin. And oh he was the object of his
father's love. Special love. Oh how Jacob loved
Benjamin. And you know when he was born, Rachel, his wife, had two sons. Joseph was one of them. And he
was not, as far as Jacob was concerned. And Benjamin, when
he was born, and when Rachel died, having Benjamin, he called
him the son of his right hand. And when they asked him to send
him up there, he said, I'll die. I'll die surely if you send him
away from me. I cannot stand it. You'll take
me to my grave if he has to go. So I tell you, he was the object
of his father's special love. And God, he was the son of his
right hand. And God does always has and always
will bear an infinite love to his people. In fact, beloved,
there never was a time that God did not love his people. because of the son of his right
hand God loved us with an everlasting love and he drew us with the
cords of a man and the scriptures tells us in Hosea 11 verse 4
God said I will I will love them freely now what does it mean
to love somebody freely freely He didn't find anything in us
to cause us to love us. And then having loved His own,
which were in the world, He loved them unto the end. And I tell
you what, He says, oh herein is love. Not that we love God,
but that God loved us. Well, how did He prove that love?
How did He manifest that love? He sent His Son. What did He
send His Son to do? To be a propitiation, a mercy,
a sacrifice, a victim, a person offered on a mercy seat to save
us from our sins. Oh my, you think Jacob loved
Benjamin oh My oh the love that God bears towards his people
God commended his love toward us listen to this even while
we were yet sinners While we were yet sinners God commended
his love for us how I Christ died for us. Oh my. Oh what love, what love, what
love. And let me tell you something
else. He bore the evidence of his guilt. Benjamin did. Now when they bring him back
up there, he bore the evidence of his guilt and before he was
even conscious of it. Now I want you to notice over
here in chapter 44 and look at this, what happens here. Look
here in verse 2, now you know he, well start in verse 1, and
Joseph is speaking now, and he gave these fellows all their
money, filled all their sacks up with food, and sent them back
home. And then he says, what happened? And he commanded the
steward of his house, saying, fill them in sacks with food,
as much as they can carry, and put every man's money in his
sack's mouth and listen to this and put my cup the silver cup
in the sack's mouth of the youngest and his corn money and he did
according to the word that Joseph has spoken And so you see, beloved,
they're going down here and look what happens. So as soon as the
morning was light, the men went away. They started home. And
they were going out of the city even, got way out of town. And
Joseph said unto his steward, Get up, go follow them men, and
overtake them, and say, Why have you rewarded evil for good? Is
this not this which my Lord dranketh, and whereby indeed you divineth?
You have done evil in doing. And he overtook them, and this
is what Joseph told him to tell them. And he spake unto them
these words. And they said unto him, Wherefore
sayest my Lord these words? God forbid that thy servants
should do according to this thing, to steal anything. Behold, the
money which we found in our sack's mouth we brought again unto thee
out of the land of Canaan. How then should we steal out
of thy Lord's house silver or gold? And with whomsoever of
thy servants it be found, both let him die. let him die and
we also will be my Lord's bondman and he said now let us be according
unto your word be with he with whom it is found shall be my
servant shall be my servant you shall be blameless that's what
the steward said to him And I tell you, they speedily took down
every man's sack, opened it on the ground there, and he searched
and began at the eldest and left at the youngest. And the cup
was found in Benjamin's sack. Then they rent their clothes.
You see, beloved, Benjamin was guilty of having this cup in
his sack. And he was found guilty of having
this cup in his sack. And he was found guilty of that
and he was unconscious of that cup being in his sack. Of that
what would make him guilty. That what would make him bring,
be brought back to Joseph. And that's the way it is with
us. When we were unconverted, we bore evidence about guilt
all our lives, but we didn't know we were guilty. We didn't
feel any guilt. We'd get aggravated, we'd get
upset when we got caught doing something. We'd lie about it,
talk our way out of it, or get angry about it. We'd get stopped
at a traffic, we'd get stopped by a traffic cop or something
like that. Instead of, you know, we'd say, yes I'm guilty. But
still yet you don't feel guilty. And you pay your fine or do whatever
you have to do. But beloved that don't stop you
from being guilty and we were born guilty We've lived guilty
and we didn't know we were guilty until God showed us we were guilty
and Benjamin didn't know that he was guilty of having that
cup of Joseph in his bag until Joseph sent a steward down to
prove it and that's the what God did with us. He sent the
Holy Spirit And the scripture says when the Holy Spirit has
come, when he has come, you know what the first thing he'll do?
Is that he'll convince of sin. Never been a sinner till he convinced
of sin. You may be a bad person. You
may be like that, but I tell you to become a genuine, bona
fide sinner made by God, the Holy Spirit. He comes and He
convinces you of sin. And you know when He convinces
you of sin, you know what you'll say? Guilty, guilty, guilty. In fact, anything that you can
say about me or any other believer on this earth, you ain't said
the half of it yet because of all the things that we haven't
done that we would have done if we had the opportunity to
do it. If we haven't done it, we've at least thought it. So
I don't know why people get upset if they're accused of something
because, listen, God said the whole world is guilty. Whole
world is guilty. You see, there's multitudes and
multitudes and multitudes of people that's not guilty. They're
not guilty. They're not guilty of being a
sinner. They're not guilty before God. They're not having a guilty
conscience. They don't have any guilt over
their sin. And I tell you what, we bore
evidence of our guilt all the days of our life. And beloved,
men are guilty whether they admit it or not. whether they admit
it or not. You know, a fella don't have
to admit his guilt to be guilty. I'm telling you, you go in a
prison, and I've been in several prisons and jails in my lifetime,
and when you go, I don't know how many people you'll admit
to say, I was falsely accused, or I'm in here because something
else happened, this, that, and the other. I remember my father's
in prison, went to visit him one time, said, the only reason
I'm in here, I run out of money. If I'd had some more money, I
wouldn't be here. That's the way everybody
is. Not guilty. You start witnessing to somebody
about Christ and the gospel. And oh my, they'll say, listen,
you know, that's good enough for you, but I'm satisfied where
I am. Satisfied where I am. Oh my. My brother told me one time that.
I was talking to him. He said, well, I'm satisfied
where I am. I'm satisfied the way I am. There's
no reason to feel any guilt. Went and talked to an aunt fixing
to die and go into eternity one time. She was on her deathbed. I started to talk to her. Tried
to talk to her about her sin. You know what she said? I prayed
in all my life. I've not begged anybody for anything
all my life and I'm not going to start begging now. She went
into eternity like that. But that did not lessen her guilt. Did not lessen her guilt. That's
what I say. We bore the evidences of our guilt all our lives. Guilty
before God until God, and we didn't know we were guilty until
God convinced us and made us understand just how guilty we
really are. And that's why we throw up our
hands. We throw up our hands. Lord have mercy on us. We're
like that publican you know. Do we say, oh God have mercy
on me. And smite our breast. Oh my. So I tell you, and here's another
thing about Benjamin and his salvation. The evidence of his
guilt was not placed there by himself. You know, he didn't
put that cup in there by himself. He didn't steal that cup by himself.
Joseph put that cup in there. Joseph wanted him to stay. Joseph
wanted those fellas to understand what miserable condition they're
in. And that's the way, you see,
the evidence of his guilt was not placed there by himself.
And that's the way it was with us. You know what made us guilty? Our relationship to our father
Adam. We inherited our guilt. That's
what we did. We inherited it. David said I
was shapen in iniquity and in sin did my mother conceive me. The wicked go astray from the
womb speaking lies. And I tell you what, we inherit
our guilt. And we had nothing to do with
becoming a sinner. And we had nothing to do with
being guilty. Until God taught us our guilt.
And let me show you, if you want to, turn with me to Romans chapter
5. Let's look at a couple of verses
of scripture over here. In Romans chapter 5. Talking
about guilt. Guilt, guilt, guilt. Romans 5. If I can find it myself here. You know, we inherited our guilt. You know,
the day I was born, come forth from my mother's womb, and they
took me and washed me up, cleaned me up, wrapped me in a blanket
and handed me back to her. From the day I come forth from
her womb, I was guilty of sin that moment. And I hadn't committed
a sin yet. You know how I become sinner?
Just being born. You know how I become guilty?
Just being born. Where did you get that from?
From Adam. And that's why, you know, a man
doesn't become a thief Because he steals something. He steals
something because he's a thief. And that's why we were a thief.
We had this guilt in us. We had this sin nature in us.
And we had this guilt and we inherited it from our father
Adam. And we didn't have to do nothing when we were born to
be guilty. And look what he said here in Romans chapter 5. And
look here in verse 12. Wherefore As by one man, Adam,
sin entered into this world. It come into this world in Adam.
And when that sin entered the world, then death because of
that one sin. That one sin. And so death, spiritual
death and eventually physical death. passed upon all men. Why? For all have sinned. Where
did we sin? In Adam, when he was in the garden. And now listen to this, and not
for until the law sin was in the world. Now before Moses ever
gave the law, before the Ten Commandments was ever given,
there was sin in the world and men died. You go and look at
Adam. Adam born, died. Had a son and
he died. Had a son and he died. Had a
son and he died. There was no law given then.
But yet because of sin, men died. But now watch this. Sin was in
the world until the law. But sin is not imputed where
there is no law. And why he's saying that is,
how in the world could they impute sin to them and they become sinner
when there was no law to break? And nevertheless, Nevertheless,
since there was no law, and you say, well, you can't impute sin
where there's no law. Nevertheless, death reigned from
Adam to Moses. even over them that had not sinned
after the similitude or the way that Adam did. And what does
that mean? That means infants, when they're
born, they don't sin the way Adam did. They'll do that as
they grow up. But of Adam's transgression,
and he was just a figure, a type of the Lord Jesus Christ who
was to come. And that's what he's telling
us there. So we inherit our guilt. Oh listen, the evidence of his
guilt, he didn't put it there. No, no. And I tell you what,
when I was born, you know, I hadn't sinned like Adam sinned. But
still yet, multitudes and multitudes of infants die. All I'm saying
is, is that because of Adam's sin, that's why people die. That's
why people die. And here's another thing about
Benjamin's salvation. Talking about salvation now. He was separated temporarily
from his father, but he was in danger of being separated permanently
from his father. Look here in verse 17 of chapter
44. Let's see, 17, yeah, 44, 17. And so, you know, they found
this cup in Benjamin's sack. And here's what Joseph said.
He said, God forbid that I should do so. But the man in whose hand
the cup is found, he shall be my servant. And as for you, get
you up in peace unto your father. Benjamin, all the rest of you
can go back to your father. Benjamin's staying here. Benjamin's
not going to get to go. Well I thought he was the son
of the Father's right hand. Special object of the Father's
love. He was. And he is. But here's Joseph. Joseph, he said, he's not going
to go home. I'm keeping him here. I'm going
to keep him. And so he was in danger of being
separated from his father. But oh my. And here's the thing. Salvation is eternal. Salvation
is eternal. We know that. We know that. Salvation
is by grace. But here's the thing, we have
promises and we have warnings. And the reason we have promises
on one side, and we read all these precious promises of our
Lord Jesus Christ and through the Bible, and through God's
precious Word, we have these wonderful promises. And this
wonderful, glorious salvation. And then on the other hand, we
have all these warnings, and the promises, We'd despair if we didn't have
the promises, being the sinners that we are. And then on the
other side you have these warnings. And these warnings, they keep
us from presuming and getting arrogant and getting full of
pride and self-righteousness. So we got the promises over here
and the warnings over here and they keep us from going too far
this way or too far that way in the sense that we get presumptuous
over here. Get proud over here and over
here. We go into despair So God gives
us these warnings salvation is eternal So there's no danger
of Benjamin not being sent back to his father him and his father
being united again And that's the way it is with us right now. We're separated. We're not in
glory We're not in glory, but one of these days by God's grace
will be there but I know this and I want you to look with me
you keep this and Look in Hebrews chapter 10. I want you to show
you a few things here. I do know this, I do know this,
that if a man leaves Christ, and we preach on this all the
time, if a man leaves Christ and leaves the gospel, he has
no hope. You walk away from the gospel.
You walk away from Christ. You walk away from the only sacrifice
for sin. You walk away from the only remedy
for sin. The only acceptance of the Father. You walk away from that. And
beloved, I guarantee you that you'll be without any hope whatsoever.
So that puts the fear of God in men. that puts the fear of
God in me and look what he said here in Hebrews 10 and verse
14 now this is what a blessed promise here what a precious
promise for by one offering He hath perfected forever them
that are sanctified. And so the Holy Ghost Himself
bears witness to us and witnesses to us. For this is what He said,
the Spirit said in the Word. This is the covenant that I will
make in them after those days, saith the Lord. I'll put my laws
into their hearts, and in their mind will I write them. And listen,
and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Now,
where these sins are paid for, there's no more offering for
sin. You don't need another offering if all your sins are paid for.
If all your sins are put away, you don't need another offering.
That's what Paul's saying here. But now look down here in verse
25. Verse 25. Not forsaking the assembling
of ourselves together, as the manner of some is. Evidently
there are some people that didn't want to assemble together with
the rest of the saints of God. But exhorting one another when
we get together and do it so much the more as you see the
day approaching. What day? Our day. Our day is
always at hand. The day of Christ is always at
hand. Our death always at hand. And every day, every day we get
closer to eternity. And as you see the day approaching.
Now listen. For if we sin willfully, go against
Christ. If we sin willfully after that
we have received the knowledge of the truth. Now listen to this,
there's no more sacrifice for sin. He's, what he's saying is
you walk away from Christ, you willfully walk away from the
gospel, you willfully walk away from the truth and the truth
that you've heard. The truth that you profess, you
walk away from that. You don't have, you can't, you
can't come back with another, there's no more sacrifices for
that sin. You walk away from Christ, you
can't, I mean you can't bring another sacrifice. and look what
he says but this is what you got to look forward to but a
certain fearful looking for a judgment and fiery indignation which shall
devour The adversaries. You want to be my adversary?
You want to walk away from me? You want to turn against me?
You want to walk away from Christ? You want to walk away from the
gospel? This is what you got to look forward to. Judgment
and fiery indignation. Don't try to bring another sacrifice.
You've done walked away from the one God provided. And then
look what he says down here in verse 35 of Hebrews 10. Oh, see, these are those warnings
I'm telling you about. Do we have these promises? What
with these blessed things over here, no more sin. God don't
even remember them against us. They're perfected forever. But
then look what he says here. Oh my, don't forsake dissembling. Don't sin willfully. Don't walk
away from Christ. And then look what he says here.
All these warnings. Cast not away, therefore, your
confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. For you
have need of patience. This word patience means just
go on living and waiting on God. You know, be still and know that
I am God. Blessed is the man who waits
upon the Lord. I say, wait upon the Lord. And
I tell you what, you have need of patience as if you've done
the will of God. What's the will of God? That
you believe on Him whom God has sent. This is my beloved Son. Hear Him. And after you've done
the will of God, you might receive the promise. Now watch this now. For yet a little while, just
a little while, He that shall come will come. He ain't gonna
wait anymore. He ain't gonna tarry anymore.
Now listen. Now the just The just shall live
by faith. Faith. God honors faith more
than anything else. Because faith believes God. Faith
believes God's Word. Faith believes Christ. Faith
never looks to itself. It always looks outside itself.
But if any drawback, go back. draw away from Christ, my soul
shall have no pleasure in him." But dear, here, listen to this,
but we are not of them who draw back unto damnation, unto perdition,
unto sin, but of them that believe to the day that our souls are
saved and we enter into glory. Now what I'm telling you is this,
he was separated temporarily from his father. But it was awful,
seemed like he was going to have to stay up there and be separated
from his father. So he has this promise and he
has these warnings. And I say when I see these warnings
like this, I fear myself. I don't know what you think about
you. I fear me. I fear myself. I fear God. Oh how I fear God. Oh I fear
God. I'm afraid of what I'm capable
of. I'm afraid what God would do if I was to walk away from Christ and
the gospel. It'd be awful. It'd be awful.
It'd be awful. Here's another thing about Benjamin's
salvation then. He had a surety before it was
provided for him before one was ever needed. Look back over here
in chapter 43 of Genesis. He had a surety provided before
one was even needed. Before Benjamin ever needed one
or anybody else needed one there was a surety provided. Now when
they asked, told his father to let Benjamin go back with them
up there. And the man, Joseph said, you'll
never see my face again until you bring him. And here's what
Judas said unto Israel's father there in verse 8. Send the lad
with me. He's just a boy. And we'll arise
and go that we may live and not die, both we and you and also
our little ones. Listen now. I will be surety
for him. I'll stand good for him. I'll
be responsible for him. I'll take care and see that he's
brought back to you. Of my hand shalt thou require
him, if I bring him not unto thee, and set him before thee,
then let leave me bear the blame forever and ever. And you know
before you and I was ever formed out of the dust of the earth.
Christ was a surety provided for us before we ever needed
one. I've said it so many times you
know that we had a Savior before there was ever a sinner and you
know what a surety is provided for? Assurity is one who stands
good for a person who can't stand good for themselves. You know,
people say, well, we need a cosigner on this note or that note or
something. Listen, this is not a cosigning thing. This person's
incapable. of getting anything, providing
anything. He's not competent to do anything.
He's so deep in debt that he can't get anything else. He can't
buy anything. He ain't got no credit. So assurity
stands up and says, I'll stand good for him at every obligation
and debt that he has. And if I don't bring him and
set him back before you, then you can require of me. Well,
our Lord Jesus Christ was our assurity. You know what he said? He said, was we competent? No. Did we have any money? No. Do we have any worth? No. Did we have a debt that we
could never pay? Ten thousand times ten thousands
and thousands of debts. And we couldn't get out until
the uttermost fathering was paid. And our Lord Jesus Christ said,
Father, you You let me bear the blame. You
let me stand good for them. You let me take and all their
debts and all their incompetence and all of their credit and all
the debts that they've got and all the inabilities that they
have all the poverty that they have let me bear it and I'll
tell you what you give them to me and I'll tell you what I'll
stand good for and if I don't bring them back and set them
before you then you can require to me now let me ask you something
Do you reckon the Lord Jesus Christ will set us before the
Father? Oh, His redeeming love! Oh my! That dying thief rejoiced to
see that blood in his day. And there may I, though foul
as he, have all my sins washed away. And you know what? In Judah, Judah was bone of His
bone and flesh of His flesh. I mean they were come from the
same father and the mother, bone of bone, flesh of flesh. And
our Lord Jesus Christ, with the Scripture, we're bone of His
bone and flesh of His flesh. We're so identified with Him
that God views us all as just one. Oh my. And I tell you what, our
Lord, our union with Him is so close that God won't even tell
the difference between us when He views us right now. That's
how close this union is. And then last of all, let me
hurry up and get this done. And Benjamin was saved through
the intercession of his surety. His surety interceded for him.
In chapter 44, let me show you. I'll hurry through this. In chapter
44 and verse 16. Oh my! They found that cup in Benjamin's
sack and they all had to come back into town. They had to come
back in to face Joseph. And Judah said, What shall we
say unto my Lord? What shall we speak? Or how shall
we clear ourselves? God hath found out our iniquity
of thy service. Behold, we are of your Lord's
service, both we and also with whom the cup is found. And that's
when Joseph said, nope, nope, no, I'm going to do this. You
all go on back down. I'm going to keep this Benjamin
here because the cup was found in his name. Then verse 18, then
Judah came near unto him. And you know, our Lord came from
the tribe of Judah. Then Judah, this surety for him,
came near unto him, said, O Lord, my Lord, let thy servant, I pray
thee, speak a word in my Lord's ear. And don't be angry with
me. Don't be angry with me. My Lord
asked his servant, said, have you got a father, have you got
a brother? And we told you we've got a father. An old man and
a child of his old age. A little one. Just a little one. And his brother's dead. They're
talking about Joseph being dead. And he's alone to the left of
his mother. And his father loves him. And
you told us to bring him down and set him up before your very
eyes. And we told you the lad can't
leave his father. If he leaves his father, he's
going to die. gonna die and all you told us said except
you bring him down here we can't see you no more and it came to
pass we came up with our under thy servant we told him the words
of my father and our father said go down and take your younger
brother with you take your younger brother with you And verse 27,
Thy servant, my father, said unto us, We know that my wife
bear me two sons. And the one went out for me,
and I said, Surely he's torn in pieces, talking about Joseph,
and I ain't saw him since. And if you take this from me,
and mischief befall me, you shall bring down my gray hairs with
sorrow to the grave. Oh, Judah's begging you, he's
pleading, talking about his brother, talking about his daddy, and
talking about the grief, and talking about the sorrow, talking
about Joseph. You required this of us, so why
in the world are you doing us this way? We've done what you
told us to do. And it'll tell you what, verse
31, it shall come to pass, when he seeth that the lad is not
with us, listen to this, that he'll die. He will die. and thy
servant shall bring down thy gray hairs of thy servant my
father with sorrow to the grave for thy servant became surety
for the lad unto my father saying if I bring him not unto thee
then I shall bear the blame to my father forever now therefore
I pray thee let thy servant abide let me stay here if still the
lad Let me be a bondman and let the lad go with his brethren.
And that's the way our Lord Jesus Christ done us. Let them go. Keep me. When they come to get
our Lord Jesus Christ out of the garden. Out of the garden. He said, Whom are you seeking?
He said, Jesus and others. He said, I am He. Done it twice. And he said, if you seek me,
let these go their way. And that's what Judah said here.
Keep me, let the boy go home. Let the boy go to the father
that loves him. And I tell you what, I do know
this. When he said, you shall not,
in verse 3 of chapter 43, when he said, you shall not see my
face, except you bring Him and live. Beloved, we'll never see
the face of God without our Lord Jesus Christ. The only way we'll
ever see God is through our Lord Jesus Christ. The only way we're
accepted of our Father is through our Lord Jesus Christ. The only
way we'll ever see God is through Christ. Well, I pray that was
a blessing to you. I pray that was a help to you.
I hope you made some sense out of it. Preach too long. Preach
too long. Well, God bless you. Let's close
in prayer. Our Father, in the blessed name
of Christ our Lord. Thank you for meeting with us
tonight. Thank you for your word. God bless it to our hearts. God
bless it to our understanding. Meet with us and keep your dear
people. Keep them safe in their homes.
Keep them safe from sickness. Keep them safe. Keep them protected.
Keep them preserved in our Lord Jesus Christ. We ask it for Christ's
sake. Amen. Good night and God bless
you.
