perseverance and of God's preservation. Part 1 The Necessity of the Believer's
Perseverance All men will hate you because
of me, but he who endures to the end will be saved. Because of the increase of wickedness,
the love of most will grow cold, but he who endures to the end
will be saved. To the Jews who had believed
him, Jesus said, If you hold to my teaching, you are really
my disciples. If anyone does not remain in
me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers. Such
branches are picked up, thrown into the fire, and burned. By this gospel you are saved,
if you hold firmly to the word I preach to you. Otherwise, you
have believed in vain. if you continue in your faith,
established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the
gospel. We have come to share in Christ,
if we hold firmly till the end, the confidence we had at first. To him who overcomes, I will
give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the
paradise of God. Be faithful even to the point
of death, and I will give you the crown of life, To him who overcomes, I will
give the right to sit with Me on My throne. This is the will of Him who sent
Me, that I shall lose none of all that He has given Me, but
raise them up at the last day. I give them eternal life, and
they shall never perish. No one can snatch them out of
My hand. For I am convinced that neither
death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present
nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor
anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from
the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Being confident of this, that
he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion
until the day of Christ Jesus. The Lord will rescue me from
every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. Who are kept by the power of
God through faith for salvation. to Him who is able to keep you
from falling and to present you before His glorious presence
without fault and with great joy. Summary God will preserve all
of His chosen, redeemed and regenerate people in the faith and in a
holy life. All of God's chosen, redeemed
and regenerate people will persevere in the faith and in a holy life,
not perfectly, but purposely.
