This is the greatest sight you will ever see. By Charles Spurgeon.
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5 21
Jesus has borne the penalty of sin on behalf of his people. Behold the wonder! There he hangs upon the cross. This is the greatest sight you will ever see, Son of God and Son of Man. There He hangs, bearing unutterable pains, the just for the unjust to bring us to God.
Oh, the glory of that sight! The innocent one punished, the holy one condemned, the ever-blessed one made a curse, the infinitely glorious one put to a shameful, sin-atoning death.
