"But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God" -Hebrews 10:12

God came down to earth in human form, not to spy out our sins, but to do the very thing we are incapable of doing; to live a perfect, sinless life, and take our punishment on the tree of the cross, so that we could spend eternity with Him!

Would Jesus Christ have ever sat down if His work was incomplete? No!

Jesus Christ sat down at the right hand of the father because His work is done! Our salvation has been bought and paid for; there's absolutely nothing left for us to do!

Amen!

in the book of Hebrews there
is this verse, but this man, which man? That king man in Isaiah,
that one who seemingly rent his clothes and came down and condescended
to this earth. But this man, after he had offered
one sacrifice for sins forever, forever? forever sat down on
the right hand of God. I've been thinking about that
all week. He sat down, this man. I ask you this, and I asked myself
this week, would this man have ever sat down if your salvation
had not been bought and paid for? Would this man sit down
from his work of being savior and redeemer? He came into the
world to do this mighty work. And the Bible says that on the
cross, he said, it's finished. What's finished? The work. The
work of your salvation. There is therefore now no condemnation
to those that are in Christ Jesus. Why? Because he finished the
work. The work is finished. And he sat down. He paid my debt. I have no debt. He paid it in
full. He went up on Calvary, died in
my room, stand in place. My sins was imputed to him. What
a mighty savior he is. Under that great weight, he cried,
Eli, Eli, lama, Sebastian, oh my God, my God, why hast thou
forsaken me? Because of my sins. But he withstood. He defeated the devil at Calvary
and all the demons of hell. And then he sat down on the right
hand of God. Do you think he could ever be
resting if he had not have finished the work that the father gave
him to do? Isn't it a wonderful thing to
hear he sat down? He's resting. You know, I hear
preachers talk about, you know, God is pacing the corridors of
heaven and needs a Xanax or something to kind of calm his nerves because
the world's getting out of control. I tell you, that is not the God
that I serve. He's sitting on a throne, resting. He tarries there now. Where is
he now? And I tell you, preachers in
churches out there who preach this impotent Christ, that he's
not an impotent Christ. He's King of Kings and Lord of
Lords, sitting on a throne, holding the reins to this universe. Sitting there forever. How long
is he gonna sit there? Forever. Is he gonna ever give
up the throne? No, no, he's never going to give
up the throne because he's king and he's resting, sitting there
forever. This man, after he had made an
end of our sins, sat down. Isn't that something?
