Isaiah chapter 56 and verse 10. I want to talk
to you today on the subject, dumb dogs that won't bark. Dumb
dogs that won't bark. Isaiah 56 verse 10. His watchmen are blind. They are all ignorant. They are
all dumb dogs. They cannot bark. Sleeping, lying
down, loving to slumber. If you had a watchdog, you got that dog and trained
that dog to be your watchdog, to guard your house. And the
thief came to steal and to rob. And the dog didn't bark. What
kind of dog would you have? A dumb dog. You'd have a dumb
dog. This week, I was in a particular
political meeting. And I let them talk their political
talk for about an hour. And I had said nothing. I had
not opened my mouth. And they had talked about how
to get out the vote by pushing this thing that the economy's
bad and getting people jobs. And then they talked about that
for over an hour. To me, the economy is not the
problem. We got a lack of God problem.
There was a couple of members of the Tea Party in this meeting. And when I expressed my conviction
that there is a sleeping giant called the Christian Church,
and that this nation is not in trouble because of Mr. Obama.
We didn't get here overnight. We're in trouble because the
giant went to sleep. And the giant is the Christian church. And
if that giant could be awakened, it would be a force. The only
force, really, that could turn this country back. You believe
that? I believe that. Dumb dogs that
won't bark. One of the reasons the church
went to sleep is because they had pastors who were dumb dogs
who wouldn't bark. I assure you today, if you don't
like a barking dog, you need to leave. Because I'm going to
howl. Dumb dogs that won't bark. You shouldn't come to God's house
simply to hear what you already know. Or if you're a Baptist
or a Methodist, to hear that denominational theology. You should come here expecting
and desiring to have a word from God. This is not a place where
you ought to get a lot of rest. In fact, it's not a place you
ought to get real comfortable. This ought to be a place and
would be if the Spirit of God would rest upon the congregation.
It would be a place where there's life and energy and thought and
exercise of faith. There was no preacher. And there
was no Bible. And there was no gospel church
in Sodom. What I was going to tell you
at the end of this meeting after I had spoken, these two Tea Party
guys, challenged me about this. It's what made me think of this
passage. One was a Roman Catholic and he said, I can't get our
priest to say anything about the government moving in on church
turf. I can't get our priest to say
anything about abortion. The other was a Protestant young
woman who was saying to me things like pastors are afraid of losing
their 501c3s. And people who give donations
won't be able to get their tax deduction. The devil's slick. You know it? The devil is slick. He tries to boogerbear God's
people. One thing you'll find out about
the early church, they beat them They threw them in prison, but
they didn't ignore them. We ought to be getting somebody's
attention, good or bad. My great goal here is that nobody
sleeps when we meet. That you are either mad as all
get out at me, or you're hilariously happy. We love our pastor. But no in-between. No in-between. It shouldn't be a shade of grey.
My friends, the issues today are black and white. They are
good and evil. And I will not be the dumb dog
that won't bark. The Bible says this, As it was
in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the coming
of our Lord. And how was it in the days of
Noah? How was it in the days of Sodom
and Gomorrah? Bad. God saw that the wickedness
of man was great all over the earth. I just read in the paper
where Vietnam approved same-sex marriage. The Vietcong? I just saw that. This week the news media is reporting
that there is a worldwide food crisis. I wonder why. You might say, now
Pastor, don't even go there. You wouldn't think that God was
causing a food crisis in the world. Why would God do anything
for this world? There's hatred for God. We flare
in the face of God. Why would God bless America?
Why would He? Why would God bless this nation? Or let me put it this way. Why
wouldn't God judge America? Get out of our schools. That's
what we told Him. Take His name off our money.
Take His name out of the Pledge of Allegiance. Get rid of any
evidence of this God thing. It was reported this week that
the United States has a three-day supply of food to feed this nation
in times of a major crisis. I know, I know, I know what you're
all thinking. Major crisis can't come here. We're Americans. No one in here has seen fighting
on the street other than in the crack house. But you haven't
seen soldiers fighting soldiers on the streets here in America.
You haven't seen what's going on in Syria, where houses and
whole cities are blown to bits. And they're threatening germ
warfare over there that will kill hundreds of thousands. But
why couldn't it happen here? Our protection has not been our
military. Our protection has been the God
of America. That's our greatest security. Three days. If we had a major
crisis, we'd have food to feed the American people for three
days. I know people are indicating to some degree because of my
talk, I have to watch who I talk to, but I'm making plans for
Grace Centers of Hope. I am looking at the scarcity. First time I've ever heard of
us asking for meat in 25 years. I believe, I know, gloom and
doom. That's what they call me. Oh,
gloom and doom. But I'm telling you, nothing
good can happen unless God's around. Nothing good can happen
unless God's around. And I can't find a reason for
Him to be here. We have insulted Him. We have
grieved His heart. I heard on the news, and when
I hear these things, it just, it's an alarm going off to me. Here in the United States, one-sixth
of the corn crop is gone. Now that might not seem too big
to you, that one-sixth of the corn crop is gone, but it amounts
to a loss of $80 billion. Cattle, hogs, livestock are being
sent to the slaughter early because of lack of grain to feed them. You wait until around December,
maybe spring. What you're going to be paying
for apples and fresh vegetables is going to be out of sight. And by the way, while you're
thinking about buying your groceries, think about this. The economy
is the worst it's been in years and years and years. You don't
have any money to pay. How can things go up in price
and your paycheck is going down or you don't have a job at all?
Somebody ought to be thinking about something. We scream jobs,
jobs, but that's not the problem. A lack of the presence of God
is the problem. Right now, I don't know, we probably
have close to a couple hundred people here. Every last one of
you, including the children downstairs, owe $44,000 to pay off the government debt. $44,000, just as what I said.
You owe it. This young man owes $44,000. He hasn't even become
a taxpayer yet. $44,000. That's a heap lot of
money. So I don't, you know, can't get
blood out of a turnip. Well, if we don't get blood out
of the turnip, if the money doesn't come, what happens? How does
the government pay its bills? Well, we just keep running off
more money. Pretty soon, a dollar equals a half a cent. Because
the value of the dollar drops. Is anybody listening to me? I'm
telling you, I'm telling you, we're in trouble. We're in big
trouble. And the trouble really amounts
to this. God's not speaking. And why would
He? In 1 Peter 4, verse 17, it says
this, For the time has come that judgment must begin at the house
of God. And if it first began at us,
what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
In other words, this, every time we meet and a person doesn't
come to know Christ, It'll bother you and me. You know why? Because the only way for a person
to come to know Christ is for God to be here. And if God's
not here, nobody gets saved. Your children downstairs go to
hell without God. God's got to be here. It's absolutely
imperative that God is here. Nobody gets off crack without
God being here. Nobody stops drinking without
God being here. And you can ignore that all you
wish. But the church, not only America,
but the church rests under the silence of God. I had breakfast this morning and
as I was eating breakfast, I was reading the Sunday Free Press. Not many times you go to church
and the Free Press is open. But the headlines of the free
press is this. From you pick to no pick, cold
heat hurts state's usual plentiful crops. Very well. Bad year. Well, let's see how much you
pay for apples in just a few months here. It's all over the
paper. You can't say you didn't see
it coming, because we see it coming. We see it coming. You
have to be blind not to see. And I think many of you in here
feel like something's wrong. Something's wrong. Many of you
in here feel confused. I don't think I've ever lived
in a time when so many Americans were confused. Just confused
about so many things. Talks about the apple crop. Drop
off in fruit crops. 85 to 90 percent. A typical Michigan apple crop
is about 25 million bushels. This year, it'll be less than
3 million. Let me read that again. 25 million
to 3 million. Pastor, you're talking about
apples. And I guarantee you, if this
nation, if this church, if churches, if the giant doesn't wake up,
things are going to be bad. Because we've got an absentee
God. I want you to go to the book of Romans with me real quick.
I want to read from the book of Romans. I'm talking about
dogs that won't bark. And I'm talking about preachers
is what I'm talking about. You ought to be thankful that you
have elders that bark. Amen. Go to Romans chapter 1. I hope you have your Bible. What
is the Bible? Oh, it's the Word of God? Did
you say the Word of God? You believe the Bible is the
Word of God? It's God's Word? It's whatever God says right?
It's whatever God says holy? Then let me read it to you. Romans
chapter 1. Beginning with verse 21. Because
that when they knew God... Oh, they knew God? Everybody
knows God. There's nobody that doesn't know
God. That is, that there is a God. Because God's put it in the conscience
of every man. There's no such thing as an atheist.
An atheist is nothing but a real hot liar. No God! No, what he means is, no God
for me. This man will not rule over me. No God for me. No, if you think I'm going to
bow down before this imaginary deity that you can't see, oh
no, I'm smarter than that. We'll see. Because when they knew God, they
glorified Him not as God. The chief end of man is to glorify
God. Neither were they thankful. I
can guarantee you this, if you're not thankful, things are going
to get worse for you. There's no one in here that has
anything to complain about. Nobody in here. Nobody in here. Michelle Atwell just was telling
me about getting back from Russia, Chernobyl. They live off of buckwheat. Morning,
noon and night and live in shacks. The little church that she ministered
in would hold approximately 15 to 20 people. Neither were they thankful, but
became vain. If you're not thankful, you're
going to become vain in your imagination. If you're not thankful
and praising God, your mind is going to turn to vain things.
Vain. Empty. And their foolish heart
was darkened. There is no light in a godless
mind or heart. The lights are out. Professing
themselves to be wise, they become fools. The fool has said in his
heart, no God for me. And changed the glory of the
uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man,
to birds. They build themselves a God.
Like a bird. And bow down before a bird. They're
bird grains. And four-footed beasts and creeping
things. Scary, creeping things. They worship. They bow down. Some of you know what I'm talking
about. You've been out there. You know where drugs have taken
you. This is nothing but a picture of where some of you have been.
You can't deny it. It's all dark out there. It's all creeping,
crawling things that you bow down before. Now watch this. You go that way
and sexual perversion starts. A godless mind is a pervert.
It's got to be. You're either going to go toward
God or away from God. You go away from God and every
imagination of your heart is only wicked continually. I know
it's true. Wherefore, God also gave them
up to uncleanliness. Oh, aren't you glad God didn't
leave you alone? Last thing in the world you ought to want is
for God to leave you alone. In my early ministry, people
would say to me something like this a couple of times. For God's
sake, preacher, leave me alone. Well, for God's sake, I will.
But the worst thing that could happen to you is for God to leave
you alone. God gave them up to uncleanliness
through the lusts of their own hearts to dishonor their own
bodies between themselves. That's homosexuality. Understanding. Whose book is this? What is this? This is God's Word, right? This
is not some old fuddy-duddy, the Apostle Paul. This is God
talking. God gave them up. Verse 25, "...who
changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served
the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections. For
even their women did change the natural use into that which is
against nature. And likewise also the men, leaving
the natural use of the woman burned, and their lust won toward
Another, men with men working that which is unseemly and receiving
in themselves that recompense of their error which was meek,
or what was exactly they deserved. A few years ago, some preachers
were saying, AIDS is a direct result of the judgment of God
upon an immoral nation. And the whole world went crazy. Something happens when men sleep
with men. God said, you're going to get what you deserve. The Bible has a lot to say about
sexuality and the perversion of sexuality. The church doesn't
talk about it. The Bible says, flee fornication. Flee adultery. Because there's
a penalty that says every sin except fornication is without
the body. Well, what does that mean? I don't know exactly. But
there is a hidden penalty for immorality. Maybe you'll never
be able to have a wonderful, holy relationship with another
individual. Maybe you'll never know the fullness
of the joy of holy sex and becoming one with another person. But
there is a penalty for immorality. God said so. Now listen to this. On the second page of the Free
Press, in a little corner, this is what it says. Political milestone. Democrat platform writers meeting
in Detroit, endorse gay marriage in the National Democrat platform. I'm going to tell you this. Look
at me really straight. Tell the world I said it. Either
God is wrong or the Democrats are wrong. I knew it. I knew it. He was going to get
political. I'm not talking about Democrats or Republicans. I'm
just talking this. Either God is right Or the Democrats
are right? I'm asking you, who's right?
Now, pastor, pastor, that has no place in God's house. Does
homosexuality have place in God's house? If God says it's an abomination,
is it an abomination? Say, pastor, are you a homo-hater? I don't hate anybody. Honestly,
I don't know anybody I hate. In fact, I'm going to tell you
this. I feel sorry for people who are confused about their
sexuality. I do. My heart bleeds. My heart bleeds. It is not natural. I'm yelling because I'm excited.
I'm not yelling because I'm mad. I'm just trying to drive it home.
It's not right. And three of you said amen. I
can tell nobody's sleeping now. There was a few nodding off before
that, but it looks like... So, look, who's on the Lord's
side? That's all I'm saying. Who's
on the Lord's side? I'm on the Lord's side. Even if it's against
me. You know, there's homosexuality
in my family. Yeah. There is. None of these
sitting over here. Sunshine's looking at me like,
what? And honestly and truly, I love
and care for those that are mixed up in that. It's not natural. Oakland University doesn't share
anti-gay views of Chick-fil-A. I don't care. I don't care what
Oakland University says. I've read what God says. And
all the man at Chick-fil-A said was that he believed in marriage
between a man and a woman. I do, too. OK, how am I barking? Now, we have a preacher problem. Here's what the Bible says to
the creature. This is Isaiah 58.1. Spare not,
lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgressions,
and the house of Jacob their sins. People often say this to me.
You know, Pastor, I don't want to hurt your feelings or anything.
And you know, we think you're a great guy. But you know, times
have changed. And you're a screamer. You know,
I sit in God's house and I feel like you're yelling at me. Maybe
I am. The Lord said through Isaiah,
cry aloud. I'm not a fireside chatter. I didn't come here to counsel
you. I came here to preach God's message. To preach God's Word. That's
why I came here. If the trumpet give forth an
uncertain sound, Paul said in the Corinthian letter, who shall
prepare himself to the battle? If you sit there and go, that
was kind of nice. Where are we going to dinner?
You ought to leave here stirred. You really should. You ought
to leave here rededicating yourself to God's Word and God's cause.
Wide awake. These little panty waist preachers,
dumb dogs that won't bark. Sitting around in their cozy
little nooks with their collar backwards. Driving their Lincolns
and Stetson hats on. Acting like they're above everybody
else. I want a barking dog to be my pastor. Bark, pastor! We prayed that you would bark
this morning. Preachers who are afraid of the
deacon board. It's one reason we don't have
a deacon board here. A deacon board shouldn't be telling
the preacher what to preach. By the way, just so you know,
in case we do ordain some of you eventually as deacons, deacons
are servants. You serve the bread. And help
with the meals on Wednesday nights. And when the pastor says, you
know, the widow over there is having some problems, go over
and talk to her. See how the church can help her. The Deacon
Board isn't supposed to meet and set the pastor's salary and
tell the pastor what to preach. I know. I know some of you are
going, I told you he's crazy. I've met pastors who've said
to me this, you know, I would preach the doctrines of grace,
but I'm telling you, I would lose my pension I don't have
a pension. That's why I can't retire. I
don't have a pension. I don't have Social Security.
You're stuck. Preachers have become administrators
and fireside chatterers and poem readers and all of that mess. Every pastor ought to be a man
that knows he's been saved by the grace of God. And every pastor
ought to be a man who knows he himself is a mess up. I'll just
flat out tell you. I'm going to preach the truth
to you. And lots of times I'm preaching to myself and saying,
you're guilty of the same old stuff they are. In case you don't know, what's
good for the goose is good for the gander. I don't preach just
to you. I'm supposed to have a message
from God. And the message from God is not only for you, it's
for me. So lots of times I take sides
against myself. Sides with God. Times when I
stand up here and preach, and in my mind I think it's the devil
doing it, but in my mind I'm thinking, you hypocrite. Because
you think that I'm the holy man of God. I'm blasting the heck
out of you guys. And you think that I'm not thinking
about myself. I don't want you to ever think
that. Just because I'm guilty of something
and God's Word says it's wrong, I'm not going to shut up about
it. I'm going to say I'm guilty and you're guilty and we're all
guilty because God says it's wrong. We need a prophet. who will trouble America again.
Who will be a troublemaker. God send us a preacher. Somebody
says, you know, I just love for God to appear, you know, and
show Himself and speak again. I want to tell you, if you're
looking for that, see if you can find a preacher somewhere
that's barking. And find a preacher that seemingly, when you listen
to Him, He disappears. The first time I heard Roth Barnard
I saw nobody but God. I'm telling you the truth. I'd
listen to that old man. I've got every tape, every message
he ever preached. I'm going to tell you why. I
sat there and Rolf Barnard disappeared and I heard a greater voice out
of heaven speaking directly to my soul. You shouldn't come to
church just to hear, you know, Baptist dogma or Presbyterian
dogma. You ought to come to God's house
to hear the Word of God. They please God by the foolishness
of preaching to save them that believe. So we've got a preacher problem.
The next thing is we've got a church problem. While the church has
slept, and the reason the church has been asleep is because they
didn't have a barking dog. If you had a barking dog, you'd
wake up. That's what a barking dog is supposed to do. A guard
dog is supposed to bark while you're sleeping and wakes you
up and you know the booger bear is there. Government has tragically taken
eminent domain over anti-poverty work. You know who ought to be
doing the work with the people? Who said that? Amen. That's exactly
right, Steve. That's exactly right. The church
ought to be doing that work. And historically, the church
has. during the epidemics of drug use in New York in the 1800s.
It was the church. It was the Calvinistic church
that believed in total depravity and that salvation was of the
Lord that proclaimed the gospel. And drug addicts, opium, drug
addicts, those people were turned to Christ. Preachers would go
into bars and stand up on the... Brother Barnard used to do that
too. He'd go in a bar and stand up on the bar itself there and
preach. Brother Barnard tells the story
where he was preaching in this saloon somewhere in Texas. Anyway,
they ran him out. And a few hours after he had
left, one of the barmaids was shot
and killed in a shootout in the saloon. And when she was dying, She said, Brother Barnard tells
this story, she said, call the doctor and call the preacher. She's about to leave this world.
She wanted a doctor to see if he could do something for her.
She wanted the preacher there to tell her his name again. The
name of Jesus Christ. Government. The Supreme Court
has notoriously overreached by mandating abortion. The Supreme
Court had no business doing that. And you know what? If the church
had been awake, but the church was asleep, and the Supreme Court
got away with it. And now not a whole lot being
said. We're just kind of coasting along.
And then we go from abortion to partial birth abortion. What
is next? The White House is now undercutting
religious liberty. I'm not a Catholic, but I'm as
mad as all get out. Listen, the government has no
business interfering with the Catholic Church or any other
church. It's the Catholic Church this
month. It's the Baptist Church next month. It's the Presbyterian
Church the next month. Get out of the church. And you know how we can stop
that? We can. Yes, vote. Get God in America
again. I don't want this church to become
a political club. Somebody says, well, you act
like it. No. No, I'm barking and you don't
like my bark. This church is not to be a Democrat
church or a Republican church. I would never want that. Never,
ever want that. Say, well, why are you calling
names? They're the ones that are coming out with the garbage. I'd be perfectly fine with Republicans
and Democrats and independents if they were all anti-abortion.
I'd be perfectly fine if they were anti-same-sex marriage. That's all. That's my problem.
Don't try to make me an anti-Democrat. Don't try to make me a Republican.
Don't try to do that. When I go in that voting booth,
I vote God as much as I possibly can. And you should too, if you
believe this Bible. Say, well, my mom and dad, your
mom and dad are already with the Lord. I said, well, I've
got this heritage. I've always been a... Well, then
it's time to change. God saved me at eight years old.
One thing I know. Had it not been for His grace
and mercy, I'd be in hell already. One thing I know. One thing I
do know. Believe me, I know. I know in
my flesh dwells no good thing. I know I'm a mess. But one thing
I do know, the Word of God is God's Word and right. And it
ought to settle all the matters. You remember, I've told you this
several times. My dad used to say, when he was a kid, he heard people
say, God said it, and I believe it, and that settles it. And
my dad used to say, God said it, and that settles it. whether
you believe it or not. I want this church to become
a powerhouse. I want it to be a lighthouse
in a dark world. I want it to be a soul's harbor.
I want you to be excited about coming here. I want you to say,
I can't wait until we have service because God's over there. You
know, if God came in here, this would be the most exciting place
in town. Did you know that? It ought to
bother us, all of us, when on Sunday we meet and nobody's converted.
No one comes to know Christ. You know, one of the things that
bothers me the most is that we have had folks go out of here
and OD and die. You know, there might be somebody
here this morning, this is the last time you'll hear the Gospel.
This is the last time you'll be in God's house. Oh, you didn't
mean to OD. You didn't mean to, but you did.
In fact, the more trouble that's in your way, the worse the world
gets, the more you ought to find yourself right here in God's
house. Oh, run to God's house when you're in trouble, because
we'll be there to comfort you. We'll be there to help you, to
assist you. This is your family. It's true. I say, well, you know what? Things
have just gone bad all week. I just don't think I'll go to
church. That's the first place you ought to go. You ought to
hightail it to God's house where you can be loved on and comforted
and blessed with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Remember thou,
thy Creator, in the days of thy youth. Remember them that have the rule
over you. Some of you have kind of kicked at me because of some
of the things I've done here past couple of weeks. Don't be
ticked. I'm just barking. I'm telling you, I'm barking
because the thief has come to rob you of your joy. And let
me tell you this, don't join this church if you're not going
to come. You're like the little finger
saying, I'm going to Arizona and leave the rest of the body.
Now, let me say to all the hobos, you can hobo your way here. We
love hobos here. You can come over here and eat
our gospel bread and eat our food. You're welcome here. But
if you join, roll up your sleeves. Now, we're going to work. I'm a part of Grace Gospel Fellowship. I'm out of the bleachers and
into the game. This church saved my life through
the preaching of the gospel. This church brought good news
to me. I'm a debtor to Grace Gospel
Fellowship. I owe them. And besides that,
God saved me and I want to give back. I can't make you come to
church, but I can say this. If you're going to join and not
come, we're going to take an eraser. I believe that people
who haven't been to church in a month or two ought to have
their names scratched off if they're not sick and half dead.
Amen. Somebody told me, you know, people
tell me this, you know, I got to work, Pastor. I got to work. No, no, no. You got six other days you can
work. You know, we closed the thrift stores on Sunday. It's
not that we couldn't make money on Sunday, but we believe all
God's people ought to be in God's house on Sunday. Got to work,
got to work. How's your money doing? Does
your money bring unspeakable joy and peace that passes all
understanding? You got that new car and you
thought that new smell would never go away. But it wasn't
six months until the smell was gone. You got you a new wife and, oh
Lord, we don't want to go there. The only thing that's going to
quench your thirst and give you any stability in this life is
to have the presence of God with you on a daily basis and to experience
God in your life. It's true. You know what? I cry
out every day. I've been thinking this. I've
been thinking about this. Y'all are alright. I'm about
through. I've been thinking about this.
You know what, Lord? Set me on fire. I want to burn. I want to go out of here burning.
I do. And what I mean by that is, Lord,
don't let the zealousness for Your glory go away. Don't let
the love of the Gospel wane in my heart. Get me excited about
preaching and feeding God's people and loving God's people. Don't
let me just become a professional. Say, well, you're not a professional.
No, but I'm not a dumb dog that won't bark either. What if the glory of God dropped
on this place? What if we were filled with the
Spirit of God here today? You know all those little attics
sitting back there? All of you men and women who
are wrestling and can't get away from the demon, if God would
just come, if God would just come, you'd
find that there's something greater than crack, something more wonderful
than heroin. It's to have and to know God
and to have the presence of God. You'd see the shackles fall off. Your life would become real and
fulfilling. And as you live by faith and
trust God, life would not suck anymore. It would be, this is
a day the Lord's made. I'll rejoice and be glad in it. I confess to the Lord almost
daily. Break my heart. Make me grateful. The real answer to both of these
problems, the preacher problem and the church problem, is that the church must again
re-engage in the pure preaching of the Gospel. And here's what I mean by that.
This is our mainstay. That God has come to earth. And
that on the tree of the cross, He saved His people. He didn't
try to do it. He did it. He did it. God is not trying to save any
of you. Two thousand years ago, outside Jerusalem on that cross,
He saved a number that no man can number. As the pastor, I
get so many emails from so many of you, which I'm glad to receive,
where you're struggling with things in your past. I want you
to know Jesus paid it all. You don't have to fear your past. You know, every once in a while,
the devil, he's out there in the shadows. And you know he's out there because
you hear him. Pretty soon, you have that booger
bear feeling. He's about to get me. I'm telling
you this, you are safe and secure in the arms of a loving Father. And that God in Jesus Christ
has paid the debt in full. There is no condemnation, none,
to those that are in Christ Jesus. If the Son sets you free, you're
free indeed! I have memories and you have
memories. And those bad memories that you have, I want to tell
you, Christian, that's not God reminding you. God doesn't remind
you. Why would God, who's already
paid your debt in Jesus Christ, take you back and say, look at
your vomit. Just look at this. Put your head
down there and smell it. You did all of that. God doesn't
do that. We used to sing a song when I
was a kid in our church. Gone, gone, gone. Yes, my sins
are gone. Buried in the deepest sea. That's
good enough for me. I shall live eternally. My sins
are gone. My sins are gone.
