We turn to the songs of grace
book. How about the 41? Here's the message, go proclaim
it. And we'll, there's a note down
at the bottom, we'll sing that to the tune of Love Divine, all
those that sing. ♪ What shall I cry, the preacher
said ♪ ♪ What shall I proclaim to men ♪ ♪ What will strip the
haughty sinner ♪ and expose his inward sin. What will comfort
the sad mourner and give peace that will abide? Here's the message, go proclaim
it, Jesus, Jesus, crucified. Sinner be not, proud but humble,
we are worthless, worthless grass. All those works we thought so
noble, they are flowers of the grass. Fading, fading, soon they
wither as the flowers of the field. Judgment comes and all
will perish who upon their own works build. Yet there's hope for helpless
sinners, look, behold your God and live. God incarnate, guide
for sinners, trust Him and your soul shall live. Christ ascended up to heaven
and sent down the Holy Ghost. He is able, He is able to save
to the uttermost. And for all who trust our Savior,
still the message is the same. Look to Jesus, look to Jesus,
find all comfort in His name. He is greater than your troubles,
He's the great almighty God. Trust him, he will not forget
you. He has bought you by his blood. All right, does anybody have
one she'd like to sing? How about that one you said your
grandma really wanted to sing? I love to tell the story. You
know what number that is up top your head, bro? 125. An old school handbook. Mhm. I love to tell the story of unseen
things above, of Jesus and His glory, of Jesus and His love. I love to tell the story because
I know it is true. It satisfies my longings as nothing
else can do. I love to tell the story. Twill be my theme in glory. To tell the old, old story Of
Jesus and His love I love to tell the story More wonderful
it seems Than all the golden fancies of all our golden dreams. I love to tell the story. It did so much for me. And that is just the reason I

love to tell the story, tis pleasant to repeat. What seems each time I tell it,
more wonderfully sweet. I love to tell the story, for
some have never heard the message of salvation from God's own Holy
Word. I love to tell the story, it
will be my theme in glory, to tell the old, old story of Jesus
and His love. I love to tell the story for
those who know it best. Seem hungering and thirsting
To hear it like the rest And when in scenes of glory I sing
a new, new song Twilling the old, old story that I have loved
so long. I love to tell the story, will

His love. Anybody else got one you'd like

403? Farther along. I think it's one of Sister Loretta's

I think she got a few papers. Farther along. Tempted and tried,
we're oft made to wonder Why it should be thus all the day

in the wrong. Farther along we'll know all
about it. Farther along we'll understand
why. Cheer up my brother, live in
the sunshine. We'll understand it all by and
by. When death has come and taken
our loved ones, It leaves our homes so lonely and drear. Then do we wonder why others
prosper, living so wicked year after year. Farther along we'll
know all about it. Farther along we'll understand
why. Cheer up my brother, live in
the sunshine. We'll understand it all by and

loving Master. A few more days to labor and
wait. Torch of the road will then seem
as nothing As we sweep through the beautiful gate Farther along

song? I thought you meant your favorite.
My aunt, she used to try to sing it. I wish you couldn't sing,
but you can grapple like me. Alright, let's go ahead and turn
back into Romans. Let's look at just a few more
verses here before we conclude our worship time today. I say
conclude our worship time today. It's not the end of our worship.
You can go home and worship all day long if you want. I encourage
you to do that. It's been the time of our study
here. Romans chapter 8. Larry refers to this as the golden
chain of salvation. I would probably agree with him
on that. Romans chapter 8, let's look at verse 28 and 29. Again, we are discussing the
perseverance or the preservation of the people of God. And we've
been looking at a few verses here in Romans this morning. And I'm going to continue on. I've got a few more verses here
in Romans. Romans chapter 8, let's look at verse 28 and 29. And we know that all things work
together for good to them that love God, to them who are the
called according to His purpose. For whom He did foreknow, He
also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that
He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover, whom
He did predestinate, them He also called, and whom He called,
them He also justified, and whom He justified, them He also Glorified. What shall we say then to these
things? If God be for us, who can be
against us? Now, I want to stop right there. You know what, I tell you what,
let's go ahead and read that because I don't know what I was
thinking. I should have added the rest
of this in here because there's some good stuff about preservation on down
even further in the next few verses. It says, What shall we
say then to these things of God before us who can be against
us? He that spared not his own son
but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also
freely give us all things? Who shall lay anything to the
charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who
is He that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather
that is risen again. Who is even at the right hand
of God, who also maketh intercession for us? Who shall separate us
from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress,
or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword
As it is written, for thy sake we are killed all the day long.
We are counted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these
things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For
I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,
nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height,
nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us
from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." I
can't believe I was going to leave that whole Last part out. We know that all things work
together for good to them that love God, to them who are thee
called. We've talked about that a lot
here, brethren. Y'all know you've heard that
from me a lot. And I've pressed this point. The beautiful thing
about the King James Bible is it leaves that definite article
there for us to understand that it's not just a general call. All these other translations
have to those who are called according to his purpose. But
that's not what is there. It's the called. It's a definite
article there. It's a definite person, group
of people. Back whenever we talked about
definite atonement or particular redemption a few weeks ago, we
pointed that out, that it is to the called, the called. To those who are the called according
to His purpose. So we see here that there is
a group of people, that is going to be predestinated to be conformed
to the image of God. So if anyone who is born of God
has come into their understanding of salvation, has professed faith
in Jesus Christ, they cannot deny that the Bible says that
if you are born again, then you're a child of God, right? And so
we just learned that there were some things that for a child
of God was going to take place. The Spirit was going to be in
them, it was going to bear testimony to them, that Spirit was also
going to bear witness of Christ. It also
told us that we were heirs and joined heirs with Christ Jesus
and that we was going to be glorified together with Him. Well here
Paul is also saying that for those who are the called They
are going to be conformed to the image of God. Now I haven't
met one person who believes that they can lose their salvation
or cease to persevere or be preserved that has ever said that I was
saved but I'm not a child of God. Or say that I was saved
and I'm not part of the called. Okay? Never met anyone that said that.
And I'm not part of the called. Now remember, we talked about
being called. There's different calls, okay? This particular
call, I believe, took place in the foundation of the eternal
covenant. Whenever God gives a people to
his son. So that is an eternal calling.
We are the called ones. We were called to be in Christ
Jesus. We are called to be the recipients
of God's love. We are called to be the ones
who would receive salvation, to be the vessels of mercy, to
be the children of God. And so there was a calling that
is there. Now, for anyone who believes
that they have been saved, in their present saved state, and
I'm speaking this, you know, again, as juxtaposed against
those who believe that we can lose our salvation. If I was
that person, I'm believing that I have salvation now, that I
am a child of God, and that I am the called of God. Okay? And
I'm believing that. And then whenever I go and I
look here and I see the Scriptures tell me the child of God, the
called of God, for whom He did foreknow, He did predestinate
to be conformed to the image of His Son." So that tells me
if I'm the child of God, the called of God, the one who is
foreknown of God, then I've been predestinated to be conformed
to the image of God. Now unless you're rolling in
circles that believe you can be fully sanctified in this lifetime,
There is nobody that I know of have ever met or know that they've
known and met or anybody that they've known or met has ever,
ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever been fully conformed to
the image of Christ. Hadn't met none. You point me
one out, let me follow them around a couple days and I'll be glad
to show you they're not conformed to Christ. Or let me talk to
their wife or husband, one or the other. Okay? We have a promise right here,
brother. All those who God foreknew. Now, I want to hit the scenarios.
Let's hit the scenarios. Let's hit the Arminian scenario.
Foreknew means to look down the corridor of time and all those
who God sees, who chooses Him, or has faith in Him, those are
the ones that He elects. Let's say that's true. It's not
true, but let's say that's true, okay? It says right here, all
those that He's seen, choose Him. He predestinated them to
be conformed to the image of God. The same Arminians who say,
I can choose God and I can also not choose God and turn away
and walk away and apostatize and fall from grace, are the
ones who say that God foreknew them, looked down the court of
time, seen their faith, chose them and elected them. Well,
if they believe that, why don't they believe all the rest of
the promises of election then? All the promises of right here. He predestined to be conformed
to the image of Christ. Are you not trusting Christ there
either? that He might be the firstborn of many brethren. Moreover,
whom He did predestinate..." So all those whom He predestinated
to be conformed to the image of Christ, God's purpose is all
the ones that He foreknew to be conformed to the image of
Christ. But He says, moreover, more than this, on top of that,
added to that, plus this, He called, He justified, and
glorified. Now you're going to cut those
up in parts and say, well he did this, but he's not going
to do this because I did that. See again, when you lay out,
and it's really one false doctrine, there's many versions of the
false doctrine, but there's one false doctrine. There's either
the true gospel or there's a false gospel. And there's many versions
of that false gospel. There's only one way of salvation,
And there's a false way of salvation. Many derivatives of that false
way of salvation, but only one false way of salvation. There's
either Christ did it all and completed it all, or it's a synergistic
work between you and God. Faith works, grace works, Christ,
you, whatever the case might be. For you young kids, I've
used a couple of words now that you might not be familiar with.
I used the term earlier in the first session, monergist. That
means a work of one, one work, mono meaning one. So monergist
or a monergism means the work of one. We believe that salvation
is a monergistic work, meaning the work of one person and one
person only. And that's God and through Christ Jesus. But those
who believe that it's a work between both, Jesus did all that
He did on the cross, and then we must be the ones who now picks
up the baton and goes and receives it, trusts in it, believes in
it, does all these things before He'll give it to us. That's a
synergistic work. Synergism means a work among
others. a collective work, work between
two people maybe, okay? Whenever Cademan went to work
with me this week, I had him get down behind an x-ray table
on the floor rail and start taking out some screws. One, because
he was really good at it. Two, because it's hard for me
to get down behind those x-ray tables against the wall and get
the screws out. But he took the screws out. while I was doing
other things. And so we did this work, and
it was a synergistic work. Me and him worked together. Now,
if Cademan wouldn't have showed up, and the other guy that ended
up being there with us didn't show up, and I did it by myself,
that would have been a monergistic work. But me and Cademan did
the work together. He took out the screws, and I
did the rest. Okay? And so, that's what a lot
of people think salvation is like. that Christ did His work
and now He's left us some conditions to do before He'll give that
work to us. This does not say anything about
what we have done. And it starts in eternity and
it goes to eternity. It starts in the eternal aspects
of God and it goes to the end of time. And nowhere in here
does it say anything about a work or condition that we have done.
So again, my question is, if that is the case, then how can
there ever be a falling away from grace or a lack of perseverance
whenever it doesn't entail us, right? Those whom He predestinated them
He also will call. Now, I'm looking at this from
a perseverance aspect but look at the preservation. God has
determined before the foundation of the world those whom he would
set his mercy and grace upon and he said I am going to not
only choose them but I'm going to keep them and then in the
end I'm gonna glorify them. That's kind of the condensed
version of it. I'm going to choose them, I'm
going to keep them, and I'm going to present them before all mankind,
all creation. And so that's basically what
he's saying here. And so he says in verse 31, What shall we then
say to these things? If God is for us, who can be
against us? He says in verse 33, Who shall
lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. There again, that goes back to
if we've been imputed the righteousness of Christ, who can lay anything
to the charge of God's elect? And again, I go back, I think
this falls in the same line of that, who imputeth not sin. If there's ever a time whenever
anybody can lay a charge against God's elect, then this verse
doesn't have any bearing. It says, What shall we then say
to these things? If God be for us, who can be
against us? He that spared not His own Son,
but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also
freely give us all things? Who shall lay anything to the
charge of God's elect? Who is He that condemneth? See,
the child of grace can never have anything laid to him or
be condemned. Why? Because he is a child of God. He has been called in the eternal
calling as the people of God and given to Christ. He is foreknown
with a love that doesn't fade away. He is foreknown with the
love that the Bible says is an everlasting love. And He is predestined to be conformed
to the image of His own very Savior who died for Him. And
that this predestination of conformity, that's the end, entails being
called and justified glorified. Now if that's the purpose, that's
the plan, that's God's agenda. That's God's agenda for his people. My question again is how can
that ever be swayed, changed? Remember the scriptures we looked
at earlier in our Doctrines of Grace series about the sovereignty
of God and the predestination of God and things like that?
Whenever we talked about the works of God and how He said,
you know, that known unto God are all His works to end from
the beginning. I've set my purposes and they shall stand. Nobody
can turn or thwart me. No one can turn me aside. No
one can change anything that I do. That's the agenda of God.
And so if you're a child of God at any point in your life, you're
not ever going to cease to be that. You never was anything
but that. I know some people believe that
we become the children of God or the sheep of God after we
believe, or if you're a Calvinist, after we've been born again.
But brethren, we were a child of God before we were ever born
again. The Bible says, because ye are sons, he has sent his
spirit into you. Before we were ever in dwelt
with the Spirit of God, we were His sons. Jesus said that He
had people in other places, and them too He had to bring, and
He talked about the children of God scattered everywhere. Well, wait a minute, the Gospel
hadn't left Jerusalem yet. Jesus hadn't even died yet at
that point. But yet He had children scattered,
sheep scattered, that had not been brought in. See, we're already
children, we're already sheep before we even know or understand
or be born again. Not unless you hold to the fact
that all the children of grace are born again. But I'll leave
that discussion to others for another day. So, how can we go
against what the Scriptures say here and lay anything to the
charge of God's elect and say, Well, you've sinned so much that
now you're condemned again. Now, I've not heard too many
people say that, but if you believe that you can lose your salvation
and not persevere or be preserved, then that's what you're saying.
That you have done something, and at some point, God turns
His back and says, you are now in a condemned state again. If
that's the case, then Jesus didn't die for your sins. Because Jesus
died for the sins of every one of His people, and He died for
every one of those sins. And if Jesus died, then the person
whom He died for can't ever be required by God for those sins,
lest God be unjust. Now, these are things that I've
come to learn over the years as studying the Bible. Not what
I believed growing up, Not what I preached the early years of
times that I was preaching at another church. I didn't believe those things.
Teach those things. Now, I believe that we were saved all the time,
which was a contradiction. I mean, I believe that we could
choose to be saved, but couldn't choose to get unsaved. That's
the anomaly of the Southern Baptists or the Armenian Baptists. is they believe that you can
choose salvation, but you can't choose to leave salvation. That
God can't sovereignly save you, but He can sovereignly make you
stay saved. Your will is strong to be saved,
but your will is overridden and forced to stay saved. Isn't that
crazy? I mean, it's one of those things
that really does sound dumb when you say it out loud, type things.
You know? I mean, it is. But yet, how many
people are so strong in what they believe about that? Who shall lay anything to the
charge of God's elect? Who is He that condemned? It is Christ
that died, yea, rather than is risen again, who is even at the
right hand of God, who maketh intercession." Paul is making
an argument here, brethren. There is nothing that can happen
that can tear you away, keep you away from being the end result
of what God predestinated before the foundation of the world.
Nothing is going to happen. So he goes into that litany of
all these things that might happen to sway you, turn you away, push
you away, keep you away from that end result. And at the end
of the day, he says, nothing can separate us from the love
of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Nothing. Any comments
on that? Do you brothers have any thoughts
on that? There you go. I like that first
sentence of verse 18, all things are of God. All things are of God. People wonder why we believe
in absolute predestination and not limited predestination. Because
all things are of God. Known unto Him are all His works,
the end from the beginning. Is there anything that's not
His works? I'm sure that there's going to be people that say,
yeah, absolutely. Every sin and every evil thing
that's ever done is not his work. It may not be his involvement.
He may not be the one who sinned or did evil, but brethren, he
surely is the one who ordained it to be. He is the one that
purposed it and brought it about. Listen, I know I'm going to get
some flack on this from some who may hear or see this, but
He not only ordains that evil, but he providentially brings
that to pass. He's not the one acting evilly.
He's not the one sinning, but he's the one who by providence
brings all those things to pass. And yet we don't charge him with
sin. I can't because he's not a sinner. I can't charge him
with sin because nothing that God does is a sin. Everything
he does is holy and right. But yet it says here, Brother
Larry read, and all things are of God. All things are of God. It didn't say all things are
done by God. Because if you actually look
over in Romans, there in chapter 11 at the end. It says, For of him, and through
him, and to him are all things, to whom be glory forever and
amen. Forever, amen. For of him, and through him,
and to him are all things, be glory forever. Everything is
of God. That means we probably ought
to take out of our vocabulary that wasn't his will. Well obviously that wasn't the
will of God. Well all things are of Him and through Him and
to Him. All things are of God. There's
not anything that's happening that God didn't purpose. Even
the things that are against Him, He purposed. Didn't He purpose
Pharaoh to go against Him? That was his purpose, that was
of God, through God, to God, right? Lay that verse there in
Romans 11 on Pharaoh. God, before the foundation of
the world, and in the context of the scripture, to Moses before
the event ever happened, told him, go down and tell Pharaoh
to let the people go, but I'm going to harden his heart and
he won't let them go. At that point, if I was Moses, I probably
would have said, then what's the use? I mean, why go down
and tell him? Ain't that what the Armenian
says? Oh, then there's no need to evangelize. There's no need
to preach the gospel. There's no need to pray. How
many have heard that? Have y'all heard that? I've heard
that a hundred times, if not a thousand or a million. God
told Moses to go down and tell Pharaoh. Why? Because God had
a purpose in doing what he did. Tell Pharaoh to let him go, but
I'm going to harden his heart so he won't let him go. That's
my purpose. And so Moses went and told Pharaoh. Pharaoh, what? Hardened his heart.
As it was said to Moses. As God had said, matter of fact,
the scriptures every time that said harden Pharaoh's heart,
it said, as God had said. So everything's of God. And so
how can we ever go back and say that it can't be of God? Look
at chapter 11. That was a good verse, brother.
Chapter 11. Anybody else have a comment on
that? I've seen a couple of the other guys shaking their heads,
smiling down there. Anything to add to that? Mark? Anything you want to make? You
agree with it? Make you want to stand up and shout? Yeah?
Okay. Me too. I got to say, last week Mark
was sitting down at the end of the table and I don't know if
it was something I was saying or something he was thinking
or what, but he was just smiling ear to ear and just laughing
and got me laughing. I didn't know if I was going
to be able to contain myself as we were singing. I kept trying
to hold my laughter in, but he was down there enjoying something
down there. So I'm just going to stop and
see. If you want to say something, brother, you just let me know. Romans
11, verse 29. Romans 11, verse 29. For the gifts and calling of
God are without repentance. The gifts and the calling of
God are without repentance. Now, we just read about gifts.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal
life. We just read that we have been
called eternally by God and given to Christ, and that in time we
are being called by being born from above. The gifts and the calling of
God are without repentance, meaning He will not go back on that. Now, I may reserve this for a
message sometime later on down the line about God's repentance.
Some men think that God changes his mind or becomes so sorrowful
that he wishes he hadn't done something. And there is passages
of scriptures that tend to seem like that. But I won't go into
that today. Maybe we'll talk about that at
some point. The gifts of calling of God are without repentance,
if that's true. If you have the gift of eternal life given to
you, if you have been called of God out of the world by new
birth, born from above, a birth that
can't be had here on earth, that only is divine, that can't be
taken by force, can't be bought with a price, can't be coerced,
and can't even be begged for because we have the inability
and never would beg for it. If we have a new birth that comes
to us freely that way, a gift, a calling, then it says here
that they're without repentance. There's no turning around from
that. How can you lose your salvation? How can you not persevere? We
will preserve. Be preserved. We will persevere.
Why? Because the gifts and calling
of God are without repentance. One more verse, brothers and
sisters, and we'll conclude for today. If you ladies have foodstuff
that you need to jump on, then go ahead. Romans 14 and verse
4. As a matter of fact, let's start
back at verse 1. "...Him that is weak in the faith,
receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations." Okay? "...Him that is weak in the faith,
receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations." For one believeth
that he may eat all things, another who is weak eateth herbs. Let
not him that eateth despise him that eateth not, and let not
him which eateth not judge him that eateth, for God hath received
him. Who art thou that judgeth another
man's servant?" That's something we ought to keep in mind. to
his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden
up, for God is able to make him stand." Okay, so it is God who
is able to make us hold up or to stand. Now, again, of course, this is
in the context of the weak and the strong brothers. There are
some who have come to know more of God's Word and understand
more of the things of God as they've been taught of God and
they've been given a measure of faith, maybe more than another
person has been given a measure of faith. And I know a lot of
people don't like that talk. They think that all things are
equal to every child of grace. That's not true. That's not true.
To some, a measure of faith has been given to some more than
others. Now that's nothing for anybody
to be puffed up about or proud about. Because tomorrow, you may be
the one that has the little faith. And someone else has got the
measure more than you. So we've all been given a measure
of faith by Christ. But here we're talking about
the weaker and the stronger brother. There may be some of those among
us who may be new in the faith. They may be new in the Word of
God. They don't know the Word of God.
They've not been down this road and been taught as long as some
of the others that are here. And so, we who are strong, or
they who are strong, should not ever cause a problem or a doubtful
disputation among those who are weak. Now, with that being said,
those who are weak don't be mad and think that everyone who is
strong is necessarily prideful. Okay? That tends to be a two-way
street. You know, the one who's strong
is always like, well, they just need to get with it. They don't
know as much as me. Well, why don't they? They got the Word of God. Why
don't they just see that? Right there, boom, I read it
to you. Now you should believe it. Boom, I told it to you. You ought to adhere to it right
now. Okay, that don't work. But on the other hand, you who
are weak, whenever somebody comes and shares something that the
Lord has taught them, don't say, well, you're just a prideful,
arrogant, you know, I don't know how many times I've been called
the wise and prudent because I've just stated the things that
I've believed. You know, it's always quick to throw the wise
and prudent out. When you're wise and prudent,
right? It's usually the wise and prudent who call people wise
and prudent. We're all learning. We're all
there. And listen, I may be stronger than this brother, but I may
turn around and then I'm weaker than this brother. And tomorrow,
this brother here, who is weaker than me, may be way stronger
than me. And I'm the weaker brother. So that's why it says, Who art
thou that judgeth another man's servant? To his own master he
standeth or falleth. He shall be holding up for God
is able to make him stand. There may become times, brethren,
whenever, like we mentioned earlier, that we feel down, feel trodden,
feel like we're not going to be able to go on anymore. We
may be discouraged. Listen, we may be discouraged.
Most of the time I'm discouraged by the people of God more than
I am the reprobates that's out there that don't even believe
in God. I mean, most of the time, whenever I'm speaking to people,
whenever I'm at work and things like that, whenever I speak about
the Lord and everything like that, especially if they're not
believers, you can tell that kind of right up front whenever
you start talking to them and everything like that. I'm not
passed off by their rejection at all, you know. It's usually
among the people who profess the name of God that I become
most discouraged about because they eat at each other. They
eat each other up. I had an instance this week that
took place. A friend of ours, he's a pastor
over in Kansas, and he has a daughter that is a very fine young Christian
lady, and she has some health issues, but one of the things
that she works with children, she works kind of Brother Larry
will know a lot about this, but she kind of works with abused
children a lot. And she, one of the jobs that
she does is she's a clown. She dressed up like a clown.
She'll go and she'll go help children feel better, you know,
basically, and everything. But anyway, she works in this
thing and everything. Well, anyway, a gentleman who
professes Christ, because of her saying of stuff about these
abused children and how great this is becoming, I mean jumped
on her with some vulgar talk and I mean just I mean basically
use some language that was just unacceptable and I knew I know
her and I know that she's not what he described but he don't
know her. He knew her from two comments
in a Facebook post And he just goes off the rails on this lady
that professes to be Christ and just calls her all kinds of vulgar
language and derides her as a libtard and all this kind of stuff and
everything because she basically said that there are an increasing
amount of children who are abused and most of them are being abused
by their own family members and everything. And then he said,
you're making statements that the liberal media is pushing
on us. Where's your proof of this? Well, she went back and
gathered the statistics, I guess, from her job or wherever it was,
but gathered the statistics and provided, in Kansas, this is
how many, this, this, this, this, provided all these statics, stats
and everything, and then he came back and just railed on her,
calling her all kinds of names, dirty names, too. And I thought,
here's a guy that's got a Christian blog that publishes, you know,
all these writings and all these men around the internet are posting
his writings everywhere. And, you know, look at how he
can't come into this thing and just literally lambasted this
person. You know what he was doing? He
was judging another man's servant. We eat each other alive. But
the weaker brother shouldn't look to the one who is stronger
and say, you're prideful and arrogant, but the one who's stronger
shouldn't look to the weaker one and say, well, you're not
up to our speed, so you're below me. That should never be. I don't
know if that's not what I intended to go into, but that's kind of
what happened with that Facebook thing reminded me of that. Those who believe the sovereignty
of God and His sovereign grace seem to be the most least gracious
people towards one another. And I don't understand that.
Anyway, we'll stop right there. There's
some verses in Corinthians next week that I'd like to look at. We'll probably look at some in
Corinthians and Ephesians, Lord willing, next week and pick up
where we left off here. Anybody got anything? Any of
you guys have anything that you'd like to share? Any comments or
corrections or rebukes? Alright. Let's have a word of
prayer and we'll be dismissed. I want to ask Brother Larry if
he would dismiss us this morning, if you don't mind, Brother. Father,
we thank you so much for your word. Thank you for the word
that we heard this morning. Assurance and confidence appears
to be reliable in all things you do. We count on your faithfulness
to us. We're also thankful for your mercies on you every morning.
Great is your faithfulness. We pray that you would be with
us now. Blessed is the fruit of your
mercy on our lives.
