If you will turn with me to the
book of Hebrews, Paul's letter to the Hebrews. I'll be taking
my text out of chapter 2 of the book of Hebrews. So let's read
this chapter. Therefore, what's that talking about? That's
talking about everything he said in chapter 1. God speaking to our fathers through
the prophets, speaking to him of his son who's the express
image of his person. Full of glory, who by himself
purged our sins and sat down at the right hand of God. Telling
us how great this man is. To which of his angels said he
at any time, sit at my right hand. The coming of this man marked
the ending of the Old Testament and the beginning of the New,
the very revelation of God. Therefore, we ought to give the
more earnest heed to the things which we've heard, lest at any
time we should let them slip. For if the word spoken by angels
was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just
recompensive reward. How shall we escape if we neglect
so great salvation, which at the first began to be spoken
by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him,
God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders and
divers miracles and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to
his own will. For unto the angels hath he not
put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak. But one
in a certain place testify, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful
of him? Or the son of man, that thou
visitest him? Thou madest him a little lower
than the angels. Thou crownest him with glory
and honor. and did set him over the works
of thy hands. Thou hast put all things in subjection
under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection
under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now
we see not yet all things put under him." What do we see? We see Jesus. That's going to be my technique.
We see Jesus. "...who was made a little lower
than the angels for suffering of death, crowned with glory
and honor, that He, by the grace of God, should taste death for
every man. For it became Him, for whom are
all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons
unto glory, make the captain of their salvation perfect through
suffering." already perfect, but here he's talking about being
made a perfect Savior. For both he that sanctifieth
and they who are sanctified are all of one, for which cause he's
not ashamed to call them brethren, saying, I will declare thy name
unto my brethren in the midst of the church while I sing praise
unto thee. And again I put my trust in him,
and again behold I and the children which God hath given me. For
as much then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood,
he also himself likewise took part of the same, that through
death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that
is the devil, and deliver them who through fear of death all
their lifetime subject to bondage, for barely
he took not on him the nature of angels, but he took on him
the seed of Abraham. Wherefore, in all things it behooved
him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a
merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God,
to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that
he himself has suffered being tempted, He is able to succor
them that are tempted. I invite you to turn back with
me now to the book of Hebrews, the second chapter, Paul's letter
to his kinsmen according to the flesh. Chapter 2 of Hebrews is
about giving a more earnest heed to the things which we've heard.
We've heard these things. We've read these things. I didn't
know Christ at the time, but I did hear the Word of God read,
even though it was often misapplied and misdirected, but I heard
it read, and I read it myself. In chapter 2 of Hebrews, it's
about giving a more earnest heed to the things which we've heard. Why? Why is it so important to
stop what we're doing, to stop thinking about what we're building,
what we're making, what we're working to do, our ambitions
in this life and activities? Why is it so important to stop? Stop all of these things and
take heed to what's being said. What's so important about that?
Why? Lest at any time we should let them slip. Demas was a man who served with
the Apostle Paul in his evangelical journeys for a long time. Not told how long, but it was
a long time. Paul was so fond of him and so
sure that this man was a child of God that he called him his
fellow laborer, Demas. And then suddenly he abandoned
the ministry for greener pastures. Paul said, having loved this
present world, found something more appealing, more rewarding,
and much less stressful than the ministry of Christ. And he
went that direction. Judas was an apostle. Our Lord said, one of you is
going to forsake me. You're going to sell me out.
And every one of them said, is it I? Is it I? Is it I? He was a disciple of Christ,
yet he sold him out for 30 pieces of silver. And our Lord tells
us this in plain English, not everyone that sayeth, Lord, Lord,
shall enter in, but he that doeth the will of my Father. And He
says this, all men have not faith. They say they have it. They act
like they have it. They relax and rest as though
they have it. But all men have not faith. Faith
is the gift of God. It's a divine work in men. It's
God working in you. Both the will. His people shall
be willing in the day of His power. This work is of God. It's all of God. It's impossible. You can do nothing without me,
Christ said. And yet the work being of God,
you're willing. His people shall be willing.
in the day of His power. He works in them both to will
and to do of His good pleasure. Paul says you're risen with Him
through the faith of the operation of God. God operates within you,
orchestrates within you, causes you to understand and perceive
things that other men don't see. I have not seen, nor ear heard,
neither have entered into the heart of man the things which
God hath prepared for them that love him, but God hath revealed
them unto us. How did He do that? He operates
within you, within your mind, within your heart. I'll give
them a new heart to know me. How come you understand and the
person down the street don't? You're risen with Him through
the faith of the operation of God. And being the gift of God,
faith is created, maintained, matured, and preserved by God. You're kept by the power of God
through faith unto salvation. And all of the means of faith
are ordained and set in motion. Providence, preaching, the Word
of God, the local assembly, the gift of the Holy Ghost. And maybe the most wondrous thing
about faith is that you and I actually do believe. Do you find it a
wondrous thing that you believe? My soul, ask around. You won't
find many. Not many. We struggle with it. We pray
for it. We labor. You know, the Bible,
it seems so contradictory sometimes. He tells us in Hebrews 4, we
labor to enter into that rest. The whole chapter is about rest,
and here he's talking about labor. Well, what are we laboring to
do? Enter into that rest. It's hard to quit doing something,
isn't it? It's hard to do nothing. And
yet that's exactly what you do concerning the salvation of your
soul. It's all Christ. It's a miraculous work. And in
spite of all of our fears and doubts and trials and difficulties,
we are they that believe to the saving of the soul. Not of them that draw back unto
perdition. And salvation is a great work.
In every part of it, it has a divine signature. Every part. It's defined
in Ephesians 2.7 as God showing to us the exceeding riches of
His grace and His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For
by grace are you saved through faith. Give earnest heed to the things
that you've heard, lest at any time you should let them slip.
Now watch this. Look at this next verse. How
shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation? How are you going to escape?
There's one way. Christ is the way. He's the way. How are you going to escape?
If we neglect so great shall that... There's one door. How
shall we escape if we don't pass through it? There's one great
high priest. If we don't call on him, how
shall we escape? There's one way. I am the way,
Christ said. How shall we escape if we neglect
the way? How shall you escape if you neglect? How do you neglect? You neglect
assembling. You neglect hearing. You neglect
meditation. You neglect reading. You neglect
the things of the Spirit of God. You neglect them. You treat them
like they're common play. You treat them like they're extra. Like there's a surplus and it's
okay if I do this, but it's okay if I don't. They're optional. No, they're not optional. They're
ordained of God. But in particular, the Apostle
Paul is directing our attention to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
This great salvation began to be spoken by our Lord. That's what he tells us in this
chapter. When? When did our Lord speak this
salvation? When Adam sinned in the garden.
The Lord came to him, didn't He? in the cool of the day. Adam
had already exercised what he thought salvation was. He went
and wove a big leaf apron to cover his nakedness. Well, he
didn't even know he was naked until he sinned. So why would he know how to put
sin away? He didn't. But he reasoned it
out. with fleshly knowledge, and he
went and wove aprons for he and Eve out of fig leaves and put
them on. And then he went into the garden
to hide. It's God's garden. You ain't
gonna hide from God in his garden. My soul. And the Lord came to
him in the cool of the day, and he sat him down, and he preached
the gospel to him. He said, you see this lamb? This
lamb? This lamb's talking about me.
This lamb is talking about your coming Redeemer. And he slayed
that lamb. And he took that lamb's wool
and he covered their nakedness with it. And he took that blood
and he poured it out on the altar. He preached the Gospel. This
was first spoken by our Lord. And whatever anybody else had
to say, all down through the Scripture, they're telling you
what the Lord said. His great salvation began to
be spoken by our Lord. When? When He declared it in
glory before the holy angels against which Satan said, Oh,
no! Oh, no! There's not going to
be a man rise up. I'm an angel and I'm an elite
angel. I'm at the top. And you're going
to let a man ascend out of the congregation and come up and
sit on the... Oh, I don't think so. I don't
think so. He said in his heart, I will
ascend into heaven. I will exalt my throne above
the stars of God. I'll sit also on the mount of
the congregation. And the Lord said, no you won't. And the prophet said, I saw Satan
fall from heaven like lightning. When did he preach this gospel?
He preached it to Adam in the garden. He preached it in glory
before the foundation of the world. He preached it through
Noah to a condemned world. He preached this gospel through
the Spirit of Christ by His prophets all through. You can read about
it in 1 Peter 1 verse 11. And he preached it in person
as a man. And then it says that he spoke
also by his apostles. It was confirmed unto us by them
that heard him. Eleven men, eyewitnesses of his
life, death, and resurrection, and one out of time, the apostle
Paul caught up to the third heaven and taught of Christ himself. God bore them witness, giving
to them signs and wonders and diverse miracles and gifts of
the Holy Ghost according to His will. You know, I would think,
I'm just a man, I'm standing here, I don't need miracles,
I have the full canon of God's Scripture. But in a day when
they didn't, I think if a man would raise the dead in front
of me, I think I'd listen to what he had to say. Wouldn't
you? Silver and gold have I none,
such as I have given unto thee. Rise up and walk." I think I
listened to him. Oh. God bore them witness, giving
to them signs and wonders and divers, miracles and gifts of
the Holy Ghost according to his will, and with an eternal eye
And in consideration of the living God and all that he's done, one
might ask, and this is a quote from Psalm chapter 8, what is
man that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, he that is born of woman, that
he should be righteous. What is man? that thou art mindful
of him, or the Son of man that thou visitest
him. This has no capital S on son,
if you'll notice that, and he's talking about Adam's offspring. Why would God come down and visit
Adam's offspring whom he cursed in the garden? ruined by the
Father. None righteous, none good, none
that seeketh after God, none that understand. Why would he
come down and visit them? What is man that art mindful
of him, or his sons, that God would visit them? He was made
a little lower than the angels, yet crowned with glory and honor,
and is made to sit over the works of God's hand. God has put all
things in subjection under His feet. Do you know that He says
the earnest expectation of all creation waiteth, waiteth for
the manifestation of the sons of God? All things in subjection on Him.
All things made by Him and for Him. And God has put all things in
subjection under His feet. What is man that art mindful
of him? The answer can only be found
in the gospel of Jesus Christ. That's where you find it. We
look, and for now, we do not see all things put under him.
All things in subjection to him. I see religion running rampant.
I see men in a fallen morality doing things that's unquestionable.
I mean, they just shouldn't be. Shouldn't be. How can you do
that? Partake of those things. I don't see all things put under
His feet yet. Well, what do you see? We see
Jesus. We see Him. We see Jesus. And that's what faith's all about.
In consideration of our text, let me ask you three questions.
How do we see Him? He's in glory. He's in glory. Paul said, though
I saw Him, yet I see Him no more. But He did see Him. He did see
Him. How do we see Him? We see Him
in His Word. This is what His Word is all
about. To Him give all the prophets witness. That's what His Word
is all about. It's a hymn book. H-I-N. And the only information we have
about God is in the Holy Scriptures. He said if they speak not according
to this Word, it's because there's no light in them. This is the
only information we have on God. The Word of God is the foundation
of faith. We're built on the foundation
of the apostles and prophets. Jesus Christ Himself being the
chief cornerstone. Everything we know about God
is written in His words. How else do we see Him? We see
Him in His gospel. The gospel is the good news of
a person. Of a person. A person about which
the whole of the Word of God is written. These are they that
testify of me. That's what our Lord said about
the Scripture. How do we see Him? We see Him
in His Word. We see Him in His Gospel. And
I see Him by the inward working of the Spirit of God. There was
a time when I wrestled and struggled and read the Word of God and
it made absolutely no sense to me. Religion was telling me one
day I was saved and the next day I wasn't saved. And I needed
to get re-saved and re-baptized and re-this and re-that. It would
tell me one thing and do another. I was upside down. Couldn't understand
the book. The book didn't make any sense.
On one hand, it's telling me to rest and rejoice and do all
these things. And then on the next time I look
at it, it's condemning me. And I see wrath and terror and
horror. We see Him in His Word, we see
Him in His Gospel, and we see Him by the inward working of
the Spirit of God. The Spirit of God takes through
the preaching of the Gospel. The Gospel being preached is
the revelation of God. But He applies those things to
your heart and makes you to understand them. We know that the Son of God has
come and given to us an understanding that we may know Him that's true,
that we're in Him that's true. This is the true God and eternal
life. To see Jesus is to see the revelation
of God in Christ. No man has seen the Father save
the Son, and He to whom the Son will reveal Him. You can't see
God, He's invisible. And the Son seated at His right
hand, we can no longer see Him except in His Word and through
His Gospel, and by the inward working of the Spirit of God.
We have received, Paul said, the Spirit which is of God, that
we might know the things that are freely given to us of God,
which things also we speak. not in words which man's wisdom
teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth, comparing spiritual
things with spiritual." There was a rock. Israel was out in
the wilderness. They were headed to the Promised
Land, but now they're in the wilderness, and they're going
to be there for 40 years. And they're marching through
this wilderness, and they had no water. And God told Moses,
He said, Take your staff and smote that rock. He smote that
rock, and water came out. in a desert. And that water gushed
out of there enough to feed millions of people and all their cattle
and sheep and oxen and everything that they had. And he said this
rock followed them everywhere they went. Here was a rock. I
don't think the rock walked behind them, but everywhere they went
and camped, there was a rock. And they go to the rock, and
sure enough, there's water, just down the rock. That rock followed
them all through the wilderness. You know what he says about that
rock? That rock was Christ. He's the smitten rock out of
which the eternal water of life flows. The Holy Ghost takes the
preaching of the Gospel, and we compare spiritual things with
spiritual. That rock was Christ. Abraham went to battle. They come down and took his son-in-law,
or his nephew, and his wife. Just ruined Sodom where he lived. And took all their money and
spoiled the place and took off. And he had lots of nephews. Abraham
went after him in the power of God and defeated him. He got
all spoiled. And he come back. And there met
him along the way. The most unusual thing. Law hadn't
been given yet. Now here's Abraham, and a high
priest meets him. And he takes 10% of the spoil
and gives it to that high priest. His name was Melchizedek. He
had neither beginning of days or end of time. Melchizedek is
Christ. He's Christ. And it tells you
that in Hebrews 6-9. He'll tell you all about Melchizedek,
who he was. You see what I'm saying? The
Holy Ghost works in you. He takes these things and makes
you to understand them and see them, and they're so clear when
He does. He not only helps you to understand them, He convinces
you of it. Let the intellectual come along.
Well, that rock wasn't really... Oh, yes it was. Oh, yes it was. Melchizedek really wasn't Christ.
Oh yes he was. Oh yes he was. That angel, the
covenant, that wasn't Christ. That was just not, no. No, it's
Christ. We see Jesus and we see him in
his, how do we see him? We see him in his gospel. We
see him by the inward working of the Holy Spirit. And we see
Jesus, we see Him in His incarnation. God assumed our flesh and blood
and stood before us. This is God. He's looking at
God. Mary prayed to God, her Savior. That was her song. But it was
God's song. You see what I'm saying? God
appeared in the person of His Son. He's the God-man. God and man. One glorious person. A child
is born in the scripture who said a son was given. God with
us. Emmanuel. And we see him in his
incarnation. We see him in his substitution.
We see a man judged, a pilot, judged of the Jews wrongfully
and being nailed to a cross. What's he doing there? They had
no power over him. A mob, an angry mob. He was preaching
the gospel and an angry Jewish mob came to him. And that city
was built on a high cliff. And they were going to take him
and throw him over the cliff. And he just turned and walked
right through the middle of them. And no man could lay hands on
him because his day was not yet come. He's God. He's God. They said, don't go
up to Jerusalem. Don't go up there. They're going
to beat you. Don't go up there. You riled
up those Pharisees. He went up there and platted
a whip and beat them out of the temple. How are they going to
nail him on a cross? What's he doing on that cross?
How come him to hang there and take all that junk that they
threw at him? How come? We see him in his substitution. die bearing our sins in His own
body on the tree. He must needs go there. We see Him in His incarnation
and we see Him in His substitution, dying the just for the unjust
to bring us to God, putting away our sin by the sacrifice of Himself. We see Him in His incarnation.
We see Him in His substitution. And then fifthly, we see Him
in a holy union with His people. Look here in Hebrews 10, verse
11. Hebrews 2, 11. For both He that
sanctifies and He and them that are sanctified are all one. They're all women. God saves men by holy union with
his son. That's how he saves. This man bore our sins in his
own body on the tree. God didn't kill him unjustly.
He was just in his death because we're one in him. One in him. And we see Him raised from the
dead, exalted in the glory, having a just and holy power over all
things, to give eternal life to as many as the Father has
given to Him. Seated at the right hand of God,
dispensing His gifts and fulfilling all His promises. We see Jesus. How do we see Him? We see Him
in His Word, in His Gospel, and in the power of the Spirit. Where
do we see Him? In glory. In glory. Is that how you see it? You're
looking to him this morning. How are you looking? You see
him seated at the right hand of God victorious? He's seated. He ain't standing up. He's not
pacing the floor. Oh, I've died for a people and
I don't think they're going to believe. Oh my soul, give me
a break. This is God. He has power over
all flesh to give eternal life to as many as the Father has
given Him, and He's going to do it. And they're all going
to believe. They're all going to repent.
They're all going to come to Him. All that the Father has
given me shall come to me. And him that cometh to me, I'll
know why he's cast out. He's seated in glory. He's victorious. There's no doubt about it. There's
no doubt about it. Oh, what do we see him doing? We see him in glory, exalted,
crowned on his head. I put my king upon my holy hill
in Zion. And I tell you what you better
do, kiss the son lest he be angry and you perish. What do we see him doing? I see
him reconciling his people to God. I see Him bringing many
sons unto glory. That's what Paul said. We see
Him being made a perfect Savior, able to be touched with the feelings
of our infirmities. We can talk to Him about our
infirmities. Talk to Him. He's touched by
them. He knows what it is. I see Him being made a merciful
and high priest in things pertaining to God. What do we see him doing? We
see our victorious king putting all things in subjection under
his feet. He's seated at the right hand
of God expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. Now here's the last thing. What
is the effect of these things on them that see them? Does the gospel I preach have
any effect on you? If indeed I preach His gospel,
it will always have an effect. Always. To the natural man it
seems foolish. Why? Because the natural man
receives not the things of the Spirit of God, they're foolishness
to him. You're telling me I've got to hear preachers? No, God
did. Deal with it. My boss sent me out one time
on a metal job, and I've never been on a commercial metal roofing
job in my life. And he's sending me out with
longtime, experienced metal workers. And I said, when I tell them
what to do, they're not going to like it. And they're going
to question what I'm telling them. And I said, what do you
want me to say? He said, tell them to call the
boss. Huh? Call the boss. Oh, it'll have an effect. I don't like it. It's foolishness.
Talk to him. He's the one who said it. Why won't this natural man receive
these things? They're foolishness unto him.
The whole idea of total depravity is absolute foolishness to a
natural man. You're telling me I hate God?
I don't hate God. God said you did. Huh? He said you did. Take it up with
him. Total depravity. You mean there's
none righteous, nothing I do? Nothing you do. Fact is, he said
all our righteousnesses, not talking about our sins, he's
talking about our righteousnesses, are as filthy rags before him.
Huh? That's absolute foolishness to
a natural man. You mean to tell me I don't have
a free will? No, God said that. God said that. You will not come unto me that
you might have life. The whole idea of total depravity
is foolishness to a man who's still comparing himself to other
men and what needs does an intellect man, an intellectual man have
with the spirit of revelation? He don't need that. The Greeks
seek after wisdom, the Jews after sign. We preach Christ crucified
under the Jews' stumbling block and under the Gentiles' foolishness.
Gospel preaching, the preaching of the person and accomplished
work of Jesus Christ, always has an effect on them that hear
it, and to the unbelieving it may have the effect of indifference.
I've heard enough. I've heard enough. Have you? Have you heard enough? Maybe that's all God will ever
let you hear. Could be. Could be. It could have an effect of indifference.
It might have the effect of anger. It might be an offense. It might
even cause you to hate me. Our Lord looked at him, he said,
Do you hate me now because I tell you the truth? Oh, my soul. But what effect does it have
on them that truly see Him as I've said Him before you this
morning? Well, first of all, it leaves us with the full assurance
of faith in the sufficiency of God our Savior. I'll tell you
what, now when things are going good and you've got money and
a bank account and you've got a new car and the job's going
good and you're married a good man and everything's just going
peachy, boy, everything's just fine, but let trouble hit. Let the storm arise. Let the
doctor come out shaking his head with the bad news. Then we'll
find out. Then we'll find out. And here's
what you're going to find out. That sovereignty that you hated
so much is the only thing that can do you any good. Huh? That sovereign God, he's the
only one that can do you any good. Now you're going to pray
to him. Oh, this leaves us with the full
assurance of faith and the sufficiency of God our Savior. Paul said,
I know whom, not what, I know whom I have believed. And I'm
persuaded that he's able to keep that which I've committed unto
him against that day. 2 Timothy 1.12. Jesus Christ came into this world
to save sinners. Now here's the question. Can
He do it? Has He done it? Will He yet do
it? He came to do the redemptive
will of God. This is my Father's will which
is sent me that of all which He has given me I should lose
nothing but raise it up again at the last day. Is He going
to do it? Can He do it? Did he do the Father's will?
He said in Hebrews 10, 9, and 10, I came to do thy will, O
God, by the which will we're sanctified through the offering
of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Secondly, seeing him in a full
gospel revelation assures us of total victory over Satan and
his deceitful power over death. Verse 14 of my text, that through
death he might destroy him that had the power over death, that
is the devil, and deliver them who through fear of death all
their lifetime was subject to bondage. I've got no reason to
fear death. My Lord conquered death. He got
up. He didn't jump up. Like a man
awakened out of a sleep by a bad dream, he didn't jump up in the
tomb, he sat up. And he carefully took off the
linen grave clothes and folded them up and left them neatly
on the little bench that they had him laid on. Oh, my soul, he victorious over
death held in the grave. There's a casting out of fear
in those that see Him, because they see that He loved them and
gave Himself for them. Greater love hath no man than
this, that he lay down his life for his friends. And all those
who see Jesus truly see Him with eyes of faith. They're filled
with the love of God. He that loveth not knoweth not
God. God is love, and perfect love. Who has that? I have love, but I don't have
perfect love. Perfect love casteth out all fear. Who has that perfect
love? Christ. Christ. How come I don't fear
death? Christ. He ain't still in the
tomb. He's seated at the right hand
of God. He's my Savior. When God raised Him up, it says
in Ephesians chapter 2, He raised us up with Him. Seated us in
glory. I don't fear death. Do you? And if you do, why? Why? We're seated with Him, that's
my guarantor, seated at the right hand of God. What effect does seeing Jesus with the faith of God's elect
have on believers? It leaves us with a full assurance
of faith in His person, It has the effect of assurance of total
victory over him that hath power over death. We will say in our
hearts, O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy
victory? Thanks be unto God, which giveth
us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. And casting out of fear, seeing
him who loved us. What effect does this gospel
of Jesus Christ have on them that believe? It makes them willing
bond slaves of our Lord. You know what a bond slave is?
He's a man that was forced into slavery either in battle or because
of great debt. And he's a slave. And he works
for his master, but in service to his master as a slave, He
begins to love his Master. His Master is kind to him. His
Master gives him full provision of everything. His Master lets
him do what he's able to do and aids him in it, helps him to
do it. And then the time comes and he's served his time and
it's time for him to go out. And he said, oh no, I won't go
out. And he comes to the door post.
And he said, I love my master. I won't go out. I want to stay and serve him
forever and to board his ear with an awl. And he become a
bond slave, bound to his master, bound in the service to him all
his days. It makes us willing bond slaves
to our Lord, humble, loving bond slaves, dedicated, committed,
willing servants And even more than that, we're heirs. Heirs. Sons of God. Think about it. Joint heirs with
Christ. Can you see it? Paul said we
see Jesus. But we don't just see a man.
We see God in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing
their trespasses unto him. We see him victorious, seated
at the right hand of God. And we see his hand in everything
all around us every day. We see him. Untold numbers have seen him.
How about you? Will you look? Look unto me and
be ye saved, he said, all ye ends of the world. May the Lord be pleased today
to capture your heart and mind in the gospel of His Son.
