There is a warfare in this world, a spiritual warfare between light and darkness. Sometime after God had created the heavens and the earth, after he had created the angelic hosts in their order, but before he created man upon the earth in his image and after his likeness, the anointed cherub, whom God had made to rule over the earth in the service of his elect, rebelled against God and the warfare began(Ezekiel 28:11-19). - The fall of Satan is the origin and cause of the conflict that has rocked the universe for 6000 years.

There is in this world a great,
ever-increasing conflict between wickedness and righteousness,
between light and darkness, between good and evil. I see it in my
own heart, flesh lusting against the spirit and the spirit against
the flesh. And I see the conflict in the
world all around me. in individual families, in communities,
in war, in fighting, in chaos. If you study the pages of human
history, you can see it throughout the ages. But I'm not just talking
about physical wars. though all the conflicts and
wars between men and nations arise from this spiritual conflict,
a conflict in the souls of men, a conflict between the God of
light and the prince of darkness, between Christ and Antichrist,
between God and Satan. Open your Bibles to Isaiah 14,
Isaiah 14. Sometime after God created the
heavens and the earth, sometime after he created the angelic
host in their order, but before he created man upon the earth
in his image and after his likeness, the anointed cherub, that one
that God had created to rule over the earth and serve his
elect. Satan, the devil, Lucifer, rebelled
against God and a warfare began. If I'm not mistaken, Satan's
fall is spoken of in the 28th chapter of Ezekiel's prophecy. Hold your hands here in Isaiah
14. I'll get there in a minute and turn over to Ezekiel 28. Read the passage carefully and
you will see that the king of Tyrus spoken of here is no ordinary
king. In fact, the thing spoken of
here could not be said of any ordinary earthly king. But Tyrus
is used here, I don't suggest, I don't imply, I don't think
that Tyrus didn't exist, this King of Tyrus. But this King
of Tyrus is used here as an allegory to speak of Satan himself. Let's
begin reading in verse 11, Ezekiel 28. Moreover, the word of the
Lord came unto me, saying, Son of man, take up a lamentation
upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, thus saith the Lord
God, thou sealest up the psalm, full of wisdom and perfect in
beauty. Thou hast been in Eden, the garden
of God. That just eliminates the possibility
that this is really fully speaking about an earthly king. He's talking
about Satan. Every precious stone was thy
covering, the sardis, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the
onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle
in gold. The workmanship of thy tabrets
and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou
wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub
that covereth, and I have set thee so. Thou wast upon the holy
mountain of God. Thou hast walked up and down
in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy
ways from the day that thou wast created till iniquity was found
in thee. By the multitude of thy merchandise,
they have filled the midst of thee. with violence, and thou
hast sinned. Therefore, I will cast thee as
profane out of the mountain of God, and I will destroy thee,
O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Thine
heart was lifted up because of thy beauty. Thou hast corrupted
thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness. I will cast thee to the ground. I will lay thee before kings
that they may behold thee. Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries
by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffic,
the traffic of Babylon, the great whore, thy traffic. Therefore will I bring forth
a fire from the midst of thee, It shall cover thee and I will
bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them
that behold thee. All they that know thee among
the people shall be astonished at thee. Thou shalt be a terror
and never shalt thou be anymore. Now go back to our text in Isaiah
14. Like Ezekiel, God's prophet Isaiah uses the imagery of a
mighty king. to describe Satan's rebellion
and his fall in the 14th chapter of Isaiah's prophecy. That's
our text, Isaiah 14, verses three through 27. As God the Holy Ghost
will enable me, I want to talk to you about what he reveals
here concerning Lucifer's fall. That's my subject, Lucifer's
fall. Let's begin reading in Isaiah
14, one. The Lord will have mercy on Jacob
and will yet choose Israel and set them in their own land. And
the strangers shall be joined with them, the Gentiles joined
to them. And they shall cleave to the
house of Jacob and the people shall take them and bring them
to their place. And the house of Israel shall
possess them in the land of the Lord for servants and handmaids. And they shall take them captives,
whose captives they were, and they shall rule over their oppressors. And it shall come to pass in
the day that the Lord shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and
from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made
to serve. that thou shall take up this
proverb against the king of Babylon saying. Now beginning here, God
the Holy Ghost teaches us to chant an enthusiastic ode, a
jeering taunt, a teasing sarcasm in the teeth of our great oppressor
as we live in the expectation of soon standing upon Satan's
neck in triumph. He says, you'll take up this
ode, you'll say this. How hath the oppressor ceased?
The golden city ceased. The Lord hath broken the staff
of the wicked and the scepter of the rulers. He who smote the
people in wrath with continual stroke, he that ruled the nations
in anger is persecuted and none hindereth. The whole earth is
at rest. and is quiet. They break forth
into singing. Yea, the fir trees rejoice at
thee, and the cedars of Lebanon saying, since thou art laid down,
no feller is come up against us. Hell from beneath is moved
for thee to meet thee at thy coming. It stirreth up the dead
for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth. It hath raised
up from their thrones all the kings of the nations, and they
shall speak and say unto thee, art thou also become weak as
we? Art thou become like unto us?
Thy pop is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy vials,
the worm is spread unto thee, and the worms cover thee. How
art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning? How art thou cut down to the
ground which disweakened the nations? For thou hast said in
thine heart, I will ascend into heaven. I will exalt my throne
above the stars of God. I will sit also upon the mount
of the congregation in the sides of the north. I will ascend above
the heights of the clouds. I will be like the most high. Yet thou shalt be brought down
to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall
narrowly look upon thee and consider thee saying, is this the man
that made the earth to tremble? that did shape kingdoms, that
made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof,
that opened not the house of his prisoners? All the kings
of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his
own house. But thou art cast out of thy
grave, like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that
are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the
stones of the pit, as a carcass trodden undefeat. Thou shalt
not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy
land and slain thy people. The seed of evildoers shall never
be renowned. Prepare slaughter for his children,
for the iniquity of their fathers, that they do not rise nor possess
the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities. For I
will rise up against them, saith the Lord of Hosts, and cut off
from Babylon the name and the remnant and son and nephew, saith
the Lord. I will also make it a possession
for the bitter and pools of water, and I will sweep it with the
bism of destruction, saith the Lord of Hosts. The Lord of Hosts
has sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come
to pass. And as I, a purposed socialist,
stand, that I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon
my mountains tread him underfoot, then shall his yoke depart from
off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders. This
is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth, and this
is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations. For
the Lord of hosts hath purposed it, and who shall disannul it? And his hand is stretched out,
and who shall turn it back? And the year that King Ahaz died
was this burden. The fall of Satan, spoken of
here by God's prophet Isaiah, is the origin and calls of all
the conflict that has rocked the universe for more than 6,000
years. All the spiritual conflict, all
the physical conflict, all the chaos that has rocked the universe
for more than 6,000 years calls by what we read about right here.
The repercussions of Satan's fall are evident. I'm sure there
are many more that I could name, but let me give you four, four
clear repercussions of his fall. The first repercussion is found
in Satan himself. His name was originally Lucifer,
the son of the morning. He became Satan, diabolic, a
slanderer, an opposer, an oppressor, an accuser, an enemy. He who
was the anointed cherub is now the adversary of God and man. The second repercussion is seen
in the angels who cast their lot with Satan in rebellion.
In the 12th chapter of the book of Revelation, we're told that
one third of the heavenly host followed Satan's lead and fought
against Christ, Michael, the archangel, our Lord Jesus. You
may wonder why. Why would the holy heavenly creatures
leave their blessed estate and follow the deceiver? Why do you
do it? Why does man do it? Find the
answer to that, you'll have the answer to the other. Mankind
follows not the counsel of God, but the prince of darkness, why?
Because Satan is a master deceiver. A master deceiver, subtle. Subtle
was the serpent beyond all the beast of the earth. Subtle. So subtle with his promises,
enchanting with his allurements, enticing with his work, that
men and women, like the angels that followed him in rebellion,
are blinded into following him. The third repercussion of Satan's
fall we read about in the opening verses of the book of Genesis.
It is the marring of God's handiwork. He turned the earth into a wilderness. The slime of the serpent is now
all over God's creation. God's creation, that which the
Lord God made. Perfect, and what God makes,
He makes perfect. Became without form and void. Darkness was upon the face of
the deep. Chaos was everywhere. We read in Isaiah 45, 18 that
God did not create the world in vain, which is just exactly
what Genesis 1, 2 talks about. Something happened beginning
at the time when God made the heavens and the earth in the
beginning. and the earth became without form and boredom. Darkness
was upon the face of the deep. Man who was created in the image
of God through the subtlety of Satan was plunged into sin and
death. And the fourth repercussion of
Satan's fall is this warfare. warfare that has raged throughout
the ages between Satan and the Son of God, between the seed
of the serpent and the seed of the woman. Hold your hands in
Isaiah 14 again and turn back to Genesis chapter 3, Genesis
chapter 3, verse 15. This is what God said to the
fallen pair before, said to Satan before he drove the fallen pair
from the garden. I will put enmity between thee
and the woman and between thy seed and her seed. It shall bruise thy head and
thou shalt bruise his heel. Obviously, that is speaking of
the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and his crucifixion by
which he would destroy Satan and his works. I will put enmity
between thy seed and her seed. Those who are the seed of Satan
and those who are the seed of Christ. So there's constant enmity
between flesh and spirit. Constant enmity between the righteous
and the wicked. And the flesh and the wicked
shall bruise the heel of the righteous. But the seed of the
woman, the seed of Christ, shall crush the head of the serpent
and his seed. From the beginning, Satan has
sought to overthrow the throne of God. He has sought to thwart
the purpose of God. He sought to destroy the people
of God, but he's never been successful and never shall be. How the prince
of darkness must have gloated within himself when he achieved
the fall in the garden. Ah, look what I've done. Now
God's purpose falls to the ground. Now God's work is destroyed. Now look at man created in God's
image whom I was created to serve. A few weeks ago coming out of
the office, Brother Lindsey said something to me that he'd heard
Wilbur Johnson say years ago. And I thought, wow, that's exactly
right. That's exactly right. Folks,
they get upset. They talk bad about Adam. And
he said, God said to Adam, he said, what have you done? Adam
said, the woman you gave me. And folks, Adam signed an excuse.
Then he just said, Brother Johnson said, he just told God the truth. You're the one who gave me this
woman. You're the one who gave me this one. You see, what Satan
accomplished in the garden, in the fall of Adam, and what Satan
accomplishes by which he must thank himself something indeed
is nothing but the purpose of God being performed by his adversary,
the devil. That's the way it's been from
the beginning. That's the way it is now. Brother Dodge, You
mean God's in charge of the devil too? Of course he is. Of course
he is. He's not scared of the devil.
He's not trembling about Satan's planning. He's not terrified
of the wicked one. He is indeed one that we must
avoid, but not one that God trembles at. You understand the difference?
Our God rules. Oh, how blessed to trust him
who rules everything exactly according to his will. From the
beginning, Satan has sought to overthrow his purpose, to destroy
his work, but he's never been successful and never will be.
Satan's first assault against the throne of God took place
in heaven sometime before the fall of our father Adam. We read
about it in the 12th chapter of Revelation. The second assault
that's revealed to us in the book of God took place in the
Garden of Eden when it led Adam and Eve to rebel against the
Lord. The third assault launched by Satan against God was shortly
after the birth of our Savior, the slaying of the innocents
by Herod in his attempt to destroy the Lord Jesus. Satan's fourth
assault, we read about in Matthew chapter four, when our Lord was
bit of the spirit into the wilderness. And after fasting for 40 days
and 40 nights, tempted of the devil, the lust of the eye, the
lust of the flesh, the pride of life, all these things Satan
used to try to destroy the Lord Jesus. And our Lord overthrew
him then. He threw him to the ground, who
asked him to bow to the ground and worship him. The Devil's
Sixth Assault, we read again in Revelation 12, is his persecutions
against God's church. We read in history about persecutions,
and the history of the church of God is written in blood. Not
only the blood of Christ shed for us, but the blood of God's
saints, Christ's martyrs who died in the name of our Redeemer.
And those bloody persecutions, at least in our part of the world,
have been over for a long time. But the persecution continues
relentless, relentless. But Satan's final assault, the
most subtle of all, is anti-Christ religion. He seeks to destroy
the souls of men. the purpose of God he seeks to
overturn by promoting every form of freewill works religion. Now
you don't have to take my word for that. Read 2 Thessalonians
chapter 2 and you will see it written plainly in the Word of
God. Because men and women will not receive the love of the truth.
God sends them a strong delusion that they should believe a lie.
And Satan, Antichrist, setting man in the house of God as though
he were God, demanding that men worship man as God. That's what free will religion
is. I say to you what I've said countless times before. We now
live in the midst of the greatest, most deceitful and deadly satanic
delusion the world has ever known. And that delusion is every form
of Arminian freewill works religion. It is Antichrist religion. It
is Babylon religion. It is Lucifer religion. Though
it appears that the fiend of hell has been, by the purpose
of God, loosed for a little season to deceive the nations of the
world again, as we're told in Revelation 20, he must be. His
doom is sure. Isaiah 14 is a prophecy of Satan's
final overthrow by the power of God. Let's look at this text
and let me show you five things in the text. Five things I find
astonishing. In verse 12, Isaiah was inspired
of God to give us knowledge of something only God could have
revealed to him. Something only God could have
revealed to him. Satan's astonishing fall. How art thou fallen from
heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning? How art thou cut down
to the ground which disweakened the nations? Though Satan was
originally created Lucifer, the word means the shining one, originally
created as the anointed cherub over the earth. When sin was
found in him, he was cast out of heaven. This verse speaks
of Satan's final defeat. But his defeat is accomplished
by God, our Savior, in five distinct ways, showing our Lord's great
grace and mercy. First, the devil was cast out
of heaven. Our Lord Jesus said, I beheld
Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Listen to these words
in Revelation 12. You don't need to turn there.
There was a war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought
against the dragon and the dragon fought and his angels and prevailed
not. Neither was their place found
anymore in heaven. and the great dragon was cast
out. That old serpent called the devil and Satan, which deceiveth
the whole world. He was cast out into the earth
and his angels were cast out with him. The prince of this
world comes in grace. Our Lord Jesus comes in grace
and binds the prince of this world at Calvary. Our Savior
said, I, if I be lifted up from the
earth, will draw all men unto me. He said, now is the judgment
of this world. Now is the prince of this world
cast out. And I, if I be lifted up from
the earth, will draw all men unto me. By this he signified
the death that he should die. By his death at Calvary, Satan
was cast out. cast down and bound. He's described,
our Lord Jesus is, as an angel with a great chain coming down
and binding Satan for a thousand years and casting him into the
pit and sealing him there that he should deceive the nations
no more and he sends the gospel into all the nations of the world
for the gathering of his elect. Satan is then cast out of God's
elect. His power is broken. His captives
are set free, his prisoners escape, the chains of bondage that hold
his slaves are broken in the new birth. Our Lord Jesus describes
it this way. He said, if I cast out devils
by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come unto
you. or else how can one enter into a strong man's house and
spoil his goods except to first bind the strong man? Our Lord
Jesus comes and enters the hearts of men and women taken captive
by Satan, held in bondage by Satan, who willingly serve Satan. and he binds the strong man,
cast him out, and spoils his goods, sets the captive free,
and takes the spoils unto himself. And then fourth, in the believer's
day-by-day experience of grace, little do we recognize it as
we ought. God, make us more sensitive,
make me more sensitive. As we experience forgiveness,
and the cleansing of our many sins by the blood of Christ.
When Satan raises Moses up to accuse and condemn, and we would
be forced to agree with his accusations and his condemnation, our mighty
advocate, the angel of God prevails over him and silences him. We
have a beautiful picture of it in Zechariah chapter three with
Joshua. standing before the high priest,
filthy. And the devil comes to accuse
him. But the Lord is standing by. And he silences every accusation
and says, take off those dirty clothes. Put clean raiment on
him. Put a crown on his head. This
is mine, my priest. I've taken away his sins. And
thus Satan is bound by our Savior and cast out again. And then
at last, Satan shall be cast into the lake of fire forever. The devil that deceived them
was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone. when the beast,
where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented
day and night forever. He who weakened the nations shall
at last be brought to utter desolation. Hear me, my brothers, my sisters. The lion of the tribe of Judah
always prevails over the prince of darkness. The lion of the
tribe of Judah always prevails everywhere and in everything.
Second, look at verses 13 and 14. Pride is the original sin. Here
Satan is described as a creature of astonishing pride. No wonder
God speaks by the wise man and describes his hatred of pride. When pride was found in Satan's
heart, God cast him down. Listen to Satan's I wills in
verses 13 and 14. What astonishing pride. Five
times he says, I will, I will, I will, I will. Look at this.
Thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven. I will exalt my throne above
the stars of God. I will set also upon the mount
of the congregation in the sides of the north. I will ascend above
the heights of the clouds. I will be like the most high
God. Now, listen to what we read a
little bit ago in Ezekiel 28, and here are God's I wills against
Satan. He's not trembling, he's not
shaking, he's not fearful. He says, I will cast thee as
profane out of the mountain of God. I will destroy thee. I will cast thee to the ground.
I will lay thee before the kings. Therefore will I bring forth
a fire from the midst of thee. It shall devour thee and I will
bring thee to ashes upon the earth. Now, look at verse nine
of Isaiah 14. And here we see Satan's astonishing
destruction. And there's more here than I
can get said tonight. And if God will give me a message
from it, I'll come back to it again next week, Lord willing,
but we'll see. There's more here than I can
get said and more than I can begin to comprehend. Hell from
beneath is moved for thee. Hell from beneath is moved for
thee, to meet thee at thy coming. Hell stirreth up the dead for
thee, even all the chief ones of the earth. It hath raised
up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. Read Revelation
17 and 18. All the kings of the nations
who made merchandise with Babylon were made merchandise by Babylon
and by Antichrist. Now they rise up out of hell
to meet you. They shall speak and say unto
thee, art thou also become weak as we? Art thou become like unto
us, thy pop is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy
vials, the worm is spread unto thee, and the worms cover thee. Look at verse 16. They that see
thee shall look narrowly upon thee. Have you ever had someone
so angry with you? I mean, so angry with you, And
they give you that glare that, if I could, I'd kill you right
now. That's just what we're talking
about. They shall look on you narrowly, with hatred, like no
one's ever seen in another's eyes. They shall look narrowly
upon thee. And consider they, saying, Is
this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms? Is this the mighty one that made
the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof,
that opened not the house of his prisoners? Is this the one
that held us captive? All the kings of the nations,
even all of them lie in glory. Everyone in his own house, but
thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch. Have
you ever seen reused graves? I have frequently, down in Mexico,
most folks rent a grave. Poor people can't afford to buy
a plot of ground to be buried in, so they rent a grave. And
they rent it for a certain period of time, and after the rent's
up, the fellow who owns the lot rents it to somebody else. And
they come and dig up his bones, and you'll see him laying right
beside the other one, just laying there. That's just what he's
talking about. You'll be cast out of the grave worthless. That's
what he says. Thou art cast out of thy grave
like an abominable branch as the raiment of those that are
slain thrust through with a sword that go down to the stones of
the pit as a carcass trodden under feet. In hell, all the
multitudes of the damned will themselves be turned against
Satan, the cause of their ruin. Satan shall be isolated, alone,
stripped of all power and influence, tormented forever. He who was
once the highest creature of God shall be brought down to
the lowest foul thing in hell. When I read the prophet's words
here about hell, about everlasting damnation. I'm astonished at
the thought of it. And I tremble for sinners who
choose to ignore it and run headlong to everlasting torment. Hell from beneath is moved as
Satan's coming. The territories of the damned
are represented as the opening to receive a more than ordinary
prisoner, taking up his eternal dwelling place among the damned. The dead, the chief ones of the
earth, who tremble to Satan's power, are all brought together
in one common level of horror and misery, of hatred and malice,
Each one taunting and cursing the other, and all unified in
turning their spite upon Satan. The movement of hell to meet
the devil is beyond possible comprehension, even conception
of this man's mind. It is as if those infernal regions
of horror feel convulsed at his approach. and welcome his everlasting
torment. And if he is, then certainly
all the damned. The taunting jeers of the kings
and great men of the earth whom the monarch of Babylon hastened
and sent there are expressed with astonishment to show us
something of the deep, bitter malignity of those forever damned
in hell by which their torments are aggravated and they fill
up the measure of the wrath heaped upon them and suffered by them
forever. What is hell? Oh, thank you, my God. I don't
know. I don't know. I don't know. Hell is a place where men are
tormented with a fully awakened conscience, with a capacity of
remembering all the past, With an awareness like they've never
had before of guilt and blame. A feeling to the full of malice
and rage against everybody. Cursing and bitterness against
all other creatures and against God. In the company of myriads
and yet completely isolated. in the midst of fire that's never
quenched and yet in utter darkness. And all the while, with a keen
awareness of heavenly bliss enjoyed by God's saints. Now, here's an astonishing salvation. In verses three through eight,
reassured of the salvation of God's elect. And understand this,
the salvation of God's elect and the destruction of Satan
go hand in hand. The salvation of God's elect
and Satan's fall and Satan's destruction go hand in hand. Had there been no fall, There
would have been no mercy. Had there been no fall, there
would have been no grace. Had there been no fall, there
would have been no salvation. Had there been no fall, there
would have been no redeemer. The salvation of God's elect
and Satan's fall and his overthrow go hand in hand. The salvation
of God's church and the destruction of Babylon go hand in hand. As Brother Rex prayed just a
little while ago, All the affairs of time. All the affairs of time and the
salvation of God's elect go hand in hand. The accomplishment of one is
the accomplishment of the other. God will save his elect from
all sin and from all the consequences of sin. That's what we read in
verses three through six. God will save them from all sin
and all the consequences of sin. Then in verses seven and eight,
God tells us that he will save his creation from all the consequences
of sin. He's going to make all things
new. The whole earth will be at rest and quiet. The whole
earth. The earth made to be chaos. with darkness upon the face of
the deep. The earth shall be made new when
Christ comes again in the slime of the serpent. The slime of
the serpent. Listen to me now. The slime of
the serpent erased from God's creation. The influence of the devil gone
forever. the consequences of the fall
forever gone, both from God's elect and from our everlasting
habitation in the new heavens and the new earth. And then the
destruction of Satan and the salvation of God's elect shall
be the cause of universal, eternal praise to the triune God. I heard a loud voice saying in
heaven, now is come salvation and strength and the kingdom
of our God and the power of his Christ for the accuser of our
brethren is cast down. One more thing and I'll be done.
Look at verses 24 through 27. Lord God reminds us that He is
indeed an astonishing God, astonishing God. He is God, now listen to
me, He is God like no one who doesn't know Him will dare acknowledge
Him to be. He is God like no one who doesn't
know Him will dare acknowledge Him to be. You go out of here and give this
tape, or this message on CD or digitally, however you can, to
anybody you want to who worships some other form of religion,
who enjoys any form of free will works religion. Give it to your
mama, your daddy, your brother, your sister, your son, your daughter,
your neighbor, your friend, or your foe. Give it to anybody,
except those who know God, will never acknowledge Him as God.
Merlehart, he's God over everything all the time. He has his will
and his way everywhere with everybody all the time. Nothing is ever
out of order. Our God rules in heaven, earth,
and hell. This is the Lord's response to
Satan's bluster. This is the Lord's response to
Satan's deceit. This is the Lord's response to
Satan's fall. This is the Lord's response to
Satan's utter destruction. The Lord of hosts has sworn saying,
surely as I have thought, so shall it stand. Or so shall it
come to pass. As I have purposed, so shall
it stand. I will break the Assyrian in
my land. and upon my mountains tread him
underfoot. Then shall his yoke depart from
off them, and his burden depart from their shoulders. This is
the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth. This is
the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations. For the
Lord of hosts hath purposed it, and who shall disannul it? and
his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back? Soon, soon, soon. The God of peace shall bruise
Satan under your feet shortly. And when he does, standing with
our necks, our feet upon his neck, We will take up this ode
of ridicule over him who's caused so much chaos and pain. How art thou fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the morning? How art thou cut down to the
ground, which did weaken the nation? And Christ shall be praised forever
for all his wondrous works, even with Lucifer. Amen.
