Let's take our Bibles and turn
with me to the book of Genesis chapter 2. Genesis chapter 2. I'd like to look at verses 10
to 14. I looked last time. I ended in verse 9 and then I
jumped over to 15. 17, and I didn't deal with the rivers,
but that's what I'd like to deal with tonight, the river that
flowed through the garden. Now, the Lord, the scripture
says, made a garden and placed the man in it, and all that was
needful for the man, and the trees that were there, Trees
that were pleasant to the eye and good for food. And then starting
right up in verse 10, and it said, and a river went out of
Eden to water the garden, and from thence it was parted and
became into four heads. Now, tonight for a few minutes,
I'd like for us to consider this river. A river that obviously
God was actually pleased to place in that place, in that garden
of man's habitation, a river that obviously was of great need
for man. It was a river that glorified
the Lord concerning His grace and His goodness and His mercy
to mankind. Now that river was a picture
of the Lord Jesus Christ, He who is the tree of life Himself,
the one in whom all the elect of God are planted, and from
whom they have life, and they exhibit from the river the fruit
of God's Spirit. Hold your place right there and
just turn to Psalms 1. Psalms 1. I just want to read verses 1
through 3, Psalm chapter 1. The scripture says, blessed is
the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth
in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
This is only the Lord Jesus Christ. But his delight is in the law
of the Lord. And in his law does he meditate
day and night, and he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers
of water that bringeth forth his fruit in his season. His
leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper."
So there's a river that flowed through the garden of God Almighty,
and the Lord Jesus Christ is that river that manifests, again,
God's covenant mercy from heaven to his people. Revelation 22.1,
and he showed me a pure river of water of life. Clear as crystal
proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. Turn
over to Psalm 46 for a second. Scripture says that God's people
are blessed, they're blessed of God to be found secure in
the river of God, the river of His ever-flowing supply of grace. Psalm 46, verses 1 to 5, God
is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore
will not we fear. Though the earth be removed,
though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea, though
the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains
shake with the swelling thereof, see law. There is a river, the
streams whereof make glad the city of God, the holy place of
the tabernacles of the Most High. God is in the midst of her. She shall not be moved. God shall
help her. And that, right early. So, the
scriptures declare the Lord Jesus Christ is the river. Scripture says in Psalm 36, 7,
and 8, how excellent is thy loving kindness, O God. Therefore, the
children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house,
and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures."
Now, I want us to consider a few minutes. I wanted to read some
scriptures that set forth what the Word of God has to say throughout
all the scriptures from Genesis to Revelation. There's a river. It flows from the throne of God,
a river that is a picture of the Lord Jesus Christ. But I
want us to look now at the connection between where the scripture sets
forth this river in this passage of scripture. In the first couple
of verses of chapter 2, the scriptures declare that God had finished
the creation of man. creation of the heavens and the
earth. And he rested, not from fatigue, but he was done. He was done. Everything that
needed to be done was done. All the works that Almighty God
had ever purposed to do in creation, in providence, in His people,
in calling them out, saving them by His grace, all the works were
finished. from the foundation of the world.
It's done. Everything's done. God finished. He knew the end
from the beginning for He decreed it and ordained it. Now we're
seeing providence. The Lord is providentially working
out that which He's finished. But now the foundation of His
rest. The foundation, the rock upon
which God has declared His rest, to be sure, is in this river. Remember Ephesians 1.11? In whom
the Father first trusted, in whom first trusted in Christ.
God Almighty trusted. And this river, here's the foundation
now of the rest. Of God's finished work. Everything
that God created, everything that God ordained, everything
that God purposed, He sustains. And He sustains it in the person
of the Lord Jesus Christ. All power was given unto Him
that He should give eternal life to as many as the Father had
given Him. God has finished His work, He's
rested, and now here's the river. And this river is going to show
to us in these few passages the entire scope of the benefits
that have been received of God's people from the Father Himself
in the person of His blessed Son. Now, He's in a garden. Adam's in a garden. Now remember,
that garden, now, is a picture and it's a type of the bride. The church needs cultivating,
and the keeping of that garden is of the Lord. Song 5-1 says,
I'm coming to my garden, my sister, my spouse. I've gathered my myrrh
with my spice. I've eaten my honeycomb with
my honey. I have drunk my wine with my
milk. Eat, oh friends, drink. Ye, drink
abundantly. Oh, beloved. The Lord is ever
present in his garden. Now here we are tonight. We're here. You said just a few
of us. Yeah, but the Lord's here. And
that's a plurality. The Lord is here. He's promised. He's ever present in his garden. And he joyfully feasts upon that
which he has done for her and in her. And in him, the garden,
the bride, she feasts too. I mean, think about what we're
doing right here. We're getting ready to consider a few passages
of scripture. Four heads of rivers. One river
that split into four heads. Four different rivers. And we're
going to look at these rivers. And we're going to consider what
the Lord has done for us. And the Lord, according to His
Word, He feasts on His mercy that He's bestowed upon us. And
we feast on the mercy. and the grace that He's bestowed
upon us. So as He feasts, we feast in Him. And He causes the
fragrance of His grace to come forth. And that fragrance, the
fragrance of God's mercy, we rejoice in and we rest in. Somebody said, well, I don't
see how you can smell or hear or see the grace of God. If the Lord ever does anything
for you, you will. Your heart will rejoice in it.
So even as we behold the river, the Lord Jesus Christ, that flows
from Eden, let us behold the delight and the pleasure of God
to show mercy and compassion to needy sinners like us. Now
this river right here, we just read in verse 10, it said, is
a river that went out from Eden to water the garden, and from
thence it was parted and became four heads. Now looking up the
word heads, it means top, chief, total, sum, beginning, and choicest,
most choice. Four manifestations of the river. the Lord Jesus Christ. Four rivers,
that is but one river that flows from God's throne, a river that
we're never going to plumb, but by faith we rest in and cast
ourselves upon by faith. Ezekiel spoke, turn over to Ezekiel
47, Ezekiel spoke of this of this river, and actually he was
speaking of the gospel of this river. The gospel of Christ,
the declaration of Him who is the river that is ever increasing
as to our understanding. When I say increasing, He's increasing
in our knowledge. We grow in grace. The more we're
shown by the Holy Spirit, the greater we behold Him to be. Now look at Ezekiel 47. I want
to read verses 1 to 5. Afterward, he brought me again
unto the door of the house. Now this house that's being spoken
of right here is the Holy of Holies. He's seeing a vision.
Ezekiel is seeing a vision. God's given him a vision now.
He said, I'm beholding the door of the house of the Holy of Holies. And behold, waters issued out
from under the threshold of the house eastward. for the forefront
of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down
from under the right side of the house at the south side of
the altar. Then brought he me out of the
way of the gate northward, and led me about the way without
unto the utter gate, by the way that looketh eastward. And behold, there ran out waters
on the right side. And when the man that had the
line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits,
a little over a third of a mile. And he brought me through the
waters, the waters were to the ankles. And he measured a thousand,
he brought me through the waters, and the waters were to the knees.
And he measured a thousand and he brought me through the waters
were to the loins. Afterward he measured a thousand
and it was a river that I could not pass over for the waters
were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed
over. Now what Ezekiel saw in this
vision in the gospel. It was the glorious gospel of
the river himself, and he was being shown this river. And as
the Lord began to give him some understanding of that river,
he said, I walked into the waters that were coming out from under
the throne, coming out of the Holy of Holies, and when I started
to to walk in it and the water was up to my ankles. And then
he measured out a thousand cubits and then he said the waters were
to my knees. And a thousand more and it came
up to my loins and afterwards he said it was a river that I
couldn't pass over, a river to swim in. Now here is the setting
forth of the gospel of this river, the gospel of the Lord Jesus
Christ. There's some things that we, by the grace of God, can
perceive more easily than others. We don't perceive anything without
the revelation of the Spirit of God, but some of the things
that we can perceive more easily, things that we can walk in the
water up to our ankles. But then, the truths of the gospel,
as we began to delve in it, and the Spirit of God begins to show
us the things, and the things of God that we truly believe,
but then there's some that come up to our knees, and then to
our loins, and then they get to a point to where we can't
plumb the depth, and we bow, and we admit our faith in that
which we're hearing, but we actually admit We just don't understand. There's so many things. I'm like
you. I'll read the scriptures. And
there's some things that by the grace of God I understand, though
I can't understand the depth I know of any of it, but I do
understand some things. But there's some things that
I read and I just don't get it. I don't know. And these things,
this is the way it is. This river that we're talking
about, there's areas that we just can't
grasp. But we trust. So as we touch
these precious verses, let's just remember. that all of these
words that we read are breathed of God. Some of them we can perceive,
some of them a little bit deeper, but there's some things that
we just swim in and we say, Lord, as you say it is, that's the
way it is. So here's the rivers. Verse 11,
verse 12 says that this river's come out and it's parted into
four rivers, four heads of rivers. And the name of the first is
Poisson. That is it which compasseth the
whole land of Havala where there is gold. And the gold of that
land is good. There is the liam and the onyx
stone. Now, I know that this river Poisson
is one of the four heads that came off of the one river. So
I know that the river itself being the Lord Jesus Christ and
these four heads of these rivers, it's the same water that flows
out of the one river that comes from the throne of God and it
splits and it's the same glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. What
is the Spirit of God speaking to us? Now here it is. It's for
the maintenance of the garden. It's for the maintenance of man,
God's people. It says, Pison it compasseth
the whole land of Havilah. Pison itself, the word means
increase. Increase, that's what it means.
And the Holy Spirit now is revealing to us concerning the Lord's increase
to us. Hold your place and turn to Isaiah
9. Isaiah chapter 9, verses 6 and 7. Here's what I'm going to tell
you what this river means right here. This river, Pison, increase,
it means that God Almighty has a sure kingdom. This is what
I mean. By son, the word means increase. What's it setting forth? God
has a sure kingdom. That's what he's telling us.
That's for the sustaining of the garden. Isaiah chapter 9,
verse 6 and 7. For unto us, a child is born. He's flesh. Unto us, a son is
given. He's God. and the government
shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful,
Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince
of Peace. And of the increase of his government
and peace, there shall be no end upon the throne of David,
upon his kingdom, to order it, to establish it with judgment,
and with justice from henceforth, even forever. The zeal of the
Lord of hosts will perform it. So, Pisan, it means increase. Of the increase of His government,
the increase of the sustaining and the abundance of His kingdom,
there shall be no end. He's God, He's man, and His name
is called Wonderful. A miracle. That's what it means.
His name should be called a miracle. His name is Counselor. Jeremiah
32.19 says He is great in counsel. Who's counseling us right now?
It's the Lord. Paul said we beseech you. We're ambassadors for Christ.
We beseech you in Christ's name. These are the words of the Lord.
Wonderful counselor. He's the mighty God, who is the
mediator and great high priest, the everlasting Father, one with
the Father, the Prince of Peace, who gives and is the fountain
of our peace, and the government shall be upon his shoulders,
the government of the salvation of his people, is what he's talking
about. The government of the salvation
of his elect, of his church, of his bride, is upon his shoulders. So when he sees, John sees this
Pisan right here, I mean Moses who wrote it. When he saw that
under the inspiration of God, and there was Pisan, what does
that mean? That means that his kingdom is
a sure kingdom. An increasing. John the Baptist
said of him, he must increase, I must decrease. But Pison also,
it says, the name of the first is Pison, that is it which compasseth
the whole land of Havilah. Now the word Havilah, the actual
word Havilah means circle. It means circle. but it's from
a root word that means to twist or to whirl about is what it
means. When it says circle, it means
like this. It's not just a circle like we
would think of just looking at a circle. It means to circle,
to twist. Job 1.10, Job 1.10, the Lord
was talking to Satan concerning his servant, Job, and he said,
Servant Job, here's what Satan said to the Lord. He couldn't
get to Him. He said, verse 10 of chapter
1, he says, Has not thou made an hedge about him and about
his house, and about all that he hath on every side? Thou hast
blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased
in the land. this name, this river, Pison,
it compasseth the whole land of Havilah. But the word Havilah,
it speaks of us. We are the people who are hedged
about, that are entwined in His love that has no beginning and
no end. He said, I've loved you with
an everlasting love. This Pisan, it means the Lord
is going to have his kingdom. It's sure. And he encircles his
kingdom. He encircles, he compasseth Havila. But also, it says in the whole
land of Havila, back in Genesis 2, 11, there's gold. There's gold. And the gold of
that land is good. Now, That gold, he said, now the gold
here is good gold. And you know any time you see
this is good, I think about that scripture where the Lord told
that man, he came up to the Lord and he said, good master, he
said, why do you call me good? Why do you call me good? There's
none good but God. Now this is good gold. Good gold. You know, they say if you can
get, you know, nine, nine, nine, nine, whatever. You know, they'll
never tell you it's just absolutely, you know, it's just nine, nine,
nine, nine, gold or silver, something like that. This is good gold.
This is good gold that sets forth the glory of the Lord and the
glorious righteousness of His people. And I'm going to show
you this. Here's what Pison is. That river is the river that
increases the surety of his kingdom, that encircles the whole land
of his people, those that are kept and enclosed, where there
is gold. Listen to what Psalm of Solomon
says concerning the good gold. Psalm 5, 10, and 11. My beloved
is white and ruddy, the chieftest among ten thousand, his head
is as the most fine gold. But also, that gold that is found
in Havilah speaks of the righteousness in which He robes His people. Psalm 45, Psalm 45, verse 8 and
9. Psalm 45, 8 and 9. Speaking of the Lord Himself, It says, all thy garments. I can show you that I know this
is the Lord. Look at verse two. Thou art fairer than the children
of men. Grace is poured upon thy lips. Therefore God has blessed
thee forever. Gourd thy sword upon thy thigh,
O most mighty, thy glory, thy majesty. Now it's talking of
the Lord. So look at verse eight and nine.
Thy garments, smell of myrrh, aloes, cassia, out of the ivory
palaces whereby they have made thee glad. King's daughters were
among thy honorable women. Upon thy right hand did stand
the queen in gold of Ophir." The church itself. Just look at verse 13, same book.
The king's daughter. Who is that? That's the bride. That's the church. That's his
spouse. That's his sister. The king's
daughter is all glorious within, and her clothing is of wrought
gold. Now where'd she get that wrought
gold? Well, that's the righteousness of Christ. That's what she's
robed in. So whenever we look back in Genesis
chapter 2, there in that river Pisan, that compasseth the whole
land of Havilah, where there is gold, And the gold, verse
12, of that land is good. And there's dillium and the onyx
stone there. Now, in that land of dillium, dillium means that which is divided. It means a precious stone. It means the fragrant gum resin
that was the color of manna. In Numbers 11.7, there's so much
here, there's so much in these verses, it just, I couldn't plumb
the depth of it like the river. But listen to Numbers 11.7, and
the manna, the bread of heaven himself, was a coriander seed,
and the color thereof as the color of Gilead. So when that River Pison, and
it went in and it's talking about the blessing of God upon the
garden. Adam was in paradise. He was
in paradise. And God put a river, put all
these trees and put a river right through there. And it broke into
four rivers. And Pison was one of them that
spoke of the increase that encircles the elect of God hedges them
about. And there was gold, which pictures
Christ himself and his people that are robed in his righteousness,
that gold that was good. And the deleum, that itself,
there was three different definitions of it. And there would be no
end to considering the significance of Deleum, whether we considered
the Lord himself being that, you know, it means that which
was divided, a precious stone that was divided. Whether it
means the body of Christ that was broken, or him being the
pearl, it also means pearl of great price. But it also meant gum resin,
gum resin that comes out of a tree, that flows from a tree. And I
could not help but think of him being bruised in the blood that
flowed forth, you know, out of his broken body. And then the
mention of the color of Delium was the color of the manna. So it all points, you cannot
look at it and not see the Lord Jesus Christ. But the last thing,
before we get out of this, and I will say this, this number
11, this is the longest one of all the rivers, they're not as
long as this one. But this one, in verse 12, it
said found in that place was the onyx stone. The onyx stone. Turn to Exodus 28. The onyx stone,
Exodus 28, it was a very, very important stone concerning the
priest in the wilderness. Exodus 28, verse 6, this onyx
stone. Exodus chapter 28, verse 6, they
shall make the ephod of gold. Now here's his garments of the
high priest of blue, purple, scarlet, fine twined linen with
cunning work. And it shall have two shoulder
pieces thereof joined at two edges thereof and so it shall
be joined together and the curious girdle of the ephod which is
upon it shall be of the same according to the work thereof
even of gold, blue, purple, scarlet, fine twine linen. And thou shalt
take two onyx stones, engrave on them the names of the children
of Israel. Six of their names on one stone,
the other six names of the rest on the other stone according
to their birth. With the work of an engraver and stone like
the engravings of a signet, thou shalt engrave the two stones
with the names of the children of Israel. Thou shalt make them
to be set in alches or settings. of gold, thou shalt put the two
stones upon the shoulders of the ephod for stones of memorial
upon the children of Israel, and Aaron shall bear their names
before the Lord and upon his two shoulders for a memorial."
Now, what this onyx stone, these were the stones that had the
names of the children of Israel, six on one shoulder, six on the
other shoulder, and they were placed on the shoulders of the
priest And there he bore a picture of Christ bearing the government. The government shall be upon
his shoulders. He's bearing up his people. He's holding them
up. So here's the glorious river,
the one head, Pison, increasing, encircling the people of God
in that place where there's gold, fine gold. The liam and the onyx
stone. And then the scripture says in
verse 13, and the name of the second river is Gihon. The same is it that compasses
the whole land of Ethiopia. Now Gihon means bursting forth
or to come forth with power. And is this not the blessing
of the Holy Spirit promised by the Lord to all that trust in
Him? In John chapter 7, John 7 verse
37-39, John 7, In that last day, great
day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man
thirst, let him come unto me and drink. He that believeth
on me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers
of living water. But this spake he of the Spirit,
which they that believe on him should receive. For the Holy
Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. So here is Gihon, meaning bursting
forth. The Lord himself, he that cometh,
if any man thirst, let him come to me. It is the Lord Himself
that we trust. And believing on Him, the Lord
has promised that all of our needs shall be met as we have
been baptized into the Spirit of God. So Gihon, the name of
that river bursting forth, is the precious promise of the Spirit
of God that is given to all that come to Christ. And if they come,
it's because the Lord drew them, made them willing in the day
of His power. But they surely come. And they're given the earnest
of their inheritance, the Spirit of God, who leads them and guides
them and directs them and brings back to their memory all the
things that the Lord has said. So here we have this beautiful
river right here, Gihon, bursting forth, promising the blessing
of the Holy Spirit. But also it says of Gihon, the
name it is that can passeth the whole land of Ethiopia. Now you may have in your Bible,
mine's got it, the word, the name Ethiopia is Cush. Cush, we're talking about. But
what does that mean? What is the significance of Cush? Well, I want to read this scripture. It's actually going to be found
over in Isaiah 11 if you want to turn. But I'll tell you how
we decipher. The things of God. The scripture
says in 1 Corinthians chapter 2, I'll read this while you turn
over to Isaiah 11. 1 Corinthians chapter 2, verse
12 and 13. How do we decipher, discern,
know what the scripture says? 1 Corinthians 2, 12 and 13 says
this. Now we have received not the
spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God, that
we might know the things that are freely given to us of God,
which things also we speak, not in words, which man's wisdom
teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches, comparing spiritual
things with spiritual things, or with spiritual. So what I'm
saying is this. How do we know what the Spirit
of God says in Scripture? Compare it with other Scripture.
Find out what is the Lord saying. So I had you turn over to Isaiah
11. Let me turn there. Isaiah chapter
11, in verse 10 to 12, where I'm going to be reading. Isaiah
11. Now we're looking at the word
Ethiopia. which is interpreted in the margin,
kush, a place, a place. All right, Isaiah 11, verse 10
to 12. In that day, there shall be a
root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people. Who is that? It's the Lord. To
it shall the Gentiles seek, and his rest shall be glorious. And it shall
come to pass in that day that the Lord shall set his hand again
the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which
shall be left from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathos, from Cush,
from Elam, from Sinai, from Hamath, from the islands of the sea and
he shall set up an ensign for the nations and shall assemble
the outcast of Israel and gather together the dispersed of Judah
from the four corners of the earth." Now what did he just
say? He said, wherever my elect are, my people, my remnant, my
chosen, I'm going to have them. That's what I'm going to do.
I'm going to gather my people. Ethiopia, in Genesis chapter
2, verse 13, the name of the second river is Gihon. The same
it is that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia, in Genesis
2, and Cush, the word Cush, in Isaiah 11 that I first read,
is the same word. And it speaks, both of them speaks,
of God's people, God's remnant, being rescued. The people of
God has been scattered, but shall surely be brought back unto the
Lord. So here's the surety of the salvation
of God's own. He who is the mighty God, the
glorious river Gihon, which compasseth the whole land of His elect. He's going to save them. And then verse 14, here's the
last verse for tonight. And the name of the third river
is Hiddekel. That is it which goeth toward
the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates. Now, Hiddekel means rapid, the
interpretation of the word, rapid. Euphrates means fruitfulness. are a fruit-bearing tree. These last two rivers are known
to be rivers today. The Hiddekel is actually the
Tigris. The description of it, I looked
at it and I read a bunch of it and it said it was and I looked
where it says it was and I believe that is it. But the Tigris and
the Euphrates are still there. These other two we don't really
know where they were. But that these two rivers are
there is not the issue here. It's what these rivers set forth
and signify. The last two rivers, the Hiddekel
and Euphrates, again are pictures and types concerning our Lord. But what's the issue? The word
Hiddekel means rapid, rapid, rapidness. And when we consider
the rapidness of our Lord's delivery to us, when it pleased God, that's
what Paul said, when it pleased God, who called me out of darkness. When we consider the rapidness
of our Lord's delivery of his own, our minds are lost in the
truthfulness of the rapidness. I read this passage of scripture
and I thought, my, Isaiah 65, 24. And it shall come to pass. Now listen to how rapid this
is. It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer. And while they're yet speaking,
I will hear. Before they call, I will answer. You know, I got to thinking about
Peter. Every time I read about, Consider that passage of scripture
where Peter got out of the boat and he said, Lord, if it's you,
bid me come to you. And he did, and he said when he saw the winds,
you know, the turbulent winds and everything, he began to sink.
You think about if the Lord lifted and he did, just released his,
you know, holding Peter up on top of that water, how fast do
you think Peter would go down? Pretty fast. I mean, you're just,
you're standing straight up. I mean, it's pretty, sinking
pretty quickly. But Scripture says that Peter
called unto the Lord, Lord save me, and the Lord reached out
and grabbed him. Now you think, that was fast.
But before Peter called, the Lord answered. Before he called. He is our mighty Headcaddel. Rapid. And aren't we thankful
for Him rapid to save before we call. I don't even know, I
don't even know what's going to happen. I know what's going
to happen. He knows and he's rapid to save,
rapid to rescue. And he doesn't need our call
to do it. But he answers our need before
we know we even have a need. In our mighty Euphrates, he who
is the fruitfulness, the assurance of God's mercy. You know, grafted
into him who is the vine, we are told to be the branches. And he said, without me, he said,
you can do nothing. He said, but those grafted into
Him, He said, you will bear much fruit, the fruit of God's Spirit.
And concerning the fruitfulness of God's salvation in Christ
Jesus, to have His people, I thought about the fruitfulness. That's
what it means, Euphrates. Fruitfulness. That's Scripture
that we quote all the time. All that the Father giveth me
shall come to me. And Him that cometh to me, I
will in no wise cast out. That's fruitful. All that the
Father gives, they're coming. That's fruitful. There'll be
no dropped fruit, no spoiled fruit. So I'm going to just sum
up what I just told you in about two sentences. He is the river. that was parted into four heads. And as He is our great Pison,
it means broken, it means pearl, it means the color of manna,
He was broken for us and became increasing to our understanding
and the revelation of God's Spirit, the great abundance of His own. Gihon, the one who comes in power,
bursting forth by his spirit to those who believe on him.
Hiddekel, rapid to save. Euphrates, the promise of the
fruitfulness of God in the blessed person of his son. There is a
river It flows from the throne of God. It flows for the sustaining
of God's people. What a blessing. All that we
shall ever need, my God shall supply all your need according
to His riches and glory. I don't even know what I need,
but I tell you this, whatever it is, He's gonna supply it.
I pray that the Lord bless this to our hearts tonight for His
glory and our good. Amen.
