Alright brethren, let's turn
in our Bibles to Isaiah chapter 53. You recall that just before the
Lord Jesus went to the cross, He prayed to the Father in John
17. And he prayed this, he said,
I have glorified thee on the earth. I have glorified thee
on the earth. I finished the work which thou
gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou
me with thine own self, with the glory which I had with thee
before the world was. Now, you know, as the Son of
God, He was glorified with the Father before the world was made.
And when He speaks here of glorify thou me, He's speaking of Him
in His mediatorial work as the Son of Man. We glorified a glorified
man who is God, the God-man. Well, in our text here in Isaiah
53, in verse 12, God tells us what He had promised Christ and
that He did glorify Christ. He says here in verse 12, Therefore
will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide
the spoiled with the strong. Now, this is God the Father promising
His Son what He would give Him as the reward of His obedience.
This is what He promised Christ before the world was made. This
is what He promised Him. Therefore will I divide Him a
portion with the grave. Now Christ possesses this honor
now. He's glorified now. He's been
glorified. Our Savior's glory, God raised
Him. as the glorified God-man. He raised Him, and He's now reigning. This is His glory, to reign supreme,
to have dominion over all. He's the Lord of lords and the
King of kings. God made good on this promise
to Christ. And He's raised. He's Lord over
all. And Christ is ruling all. Now
here's the second part of that glory. Verse 12. He said, And
He shall divide the spoiled with the strong. He shall divide the
spoiled with the strong. Now, it means He shall divide
the spoils of victory from the strong. The spoils are His people. That's His people, the trophies
of His grace. He shall divide His people from
the strong. By His death, the scriptures
tell us Christ led captivity captive. You know what that means?
He led captivity captive. That means that Christ triumphed
over sin and Satan and the world and death and the grave. He triumphed
over all of those. Every spiritual enemy of Christ
and of His people, especially Satan, the devil, is called captivity. Every enemy of God, of Christ,
of His people is called captivity. Captivity. And when He finished
His work on the cross by putting away the sin of His people, by
justifying his people, he led captivity captive. He took captivity captive. The
one who had taken us captive, he took captive. The Romans had
a practice and what they would do is when they captured somebody
in a war and they had their prisoners of war, they would chain them
together and they would march them in front of everybody so
everybody could see their captives, that they had taken captive.
Well, the scripture is using that when it speaks of he led
captivity captive. And there's another reference
to it in Colossians 2.15. It says, having spoiled principalities
and powers, he spoiled Satan, he spoiled all of the evil principalities,
all the evil powers of Satan, all his influence whatsoever.
He having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of
them openly. He did it before all to see.
He made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it. That's what Christ did. And then
he comes to his people. This is his resurrection glory.
He comes to his people. He brings the gospel to his people.
And he casts Satan out of his people. He comes and he binds
that strong man. You remember on one occasion
he cast devils out of a man. And the Pharisees saw this. They
saw him do this. And they accused him of doing
this by Beelzebub who is the prince of the devils. And Christ
said this to him, If I with the finger of God cast out devils. Let's look at this. Look at Luke
11. I want you to see this. Luke 11 and verse 20. He said, if I with the finger
of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon
you. When a strong man armed keepeth
his palace, his goods are in peace. The strong man he's talking
about here is Satan. When a strong man armed, what
was he armed with? He was armed with sin. He could
accuse us to God of sin. When a strong man armed keeps
his palace, what was his palace? We were. God's people were. We
were his palace. He keeps his palace and his goods,
those he's got captive, they're in peace. There's no danger of
anybody taking them from him because he's got them. He's got
them locked down. But now watch what he says, verse
22. But when a stronger than he shall come upon him and overcome
him, he taketh from him all his armor, wherein he trusteth, and
he divideth his spoils. He takes his spoils from him. And that's what Christ did. When
Christ comes to his people in the day of his grace, Christ
is the one stronger than Satan. He comes to his people in the
day of his grace, and he binds the strong man, and he divides
his people from him as the spoils of his victory. He divides the
spoils from the strong. Wouldn't it be good if he did
that today? Wouldn't it be good today if that's what he's doing?
He sent this gospel to somebody here today, somebody here, those
that don't know Christ and don't believe on Christ, the scripture
says you're under the power of the prince of the air. Wouldn't
it be something if he came today and cast out Satan, bound him
and took control of you, took over you for his own? I pray
he'll do that. Now let's look here. Back here
at this text in Isaiah 53, 12. Now this might be stretching
the text just a little bit. I'll admit that. But I'll tell
you something else Christ does. Christ shall divide the spoils
of His victory with the strong. He'll divide the spoils of His
victory with the strong. And I'm talking about a different
strong ones here. I'm talking about His people.
He'll divide the spoils of His victory with His people. Now,
how is it we could call His people strong? We're weak. We're utterly
weak. How could you call His people
strong? Paul said, when I'm weak, then am I strong. Because Christ
is my strength. And the Scriptures tell us that
Christ jointly divides to each of His redeemed ones all His
inheritance. The Scripture says if we're children,
then we're heirs. We're heirs of God and joint
heirs with Christ. Now, that's His glory. He's Lord over all. He's risen. He's Lord over all. He has all
power over all in His mediatorial office as the God-man mediator.
And He right now, He's crushed Satan's head and He right now
is delivering His people from His power through His gospel.
But how did He get this power? How did He come to have this
glory that He has? Our subject is four reasons Christ
is glorified. Four reasons Christ is glorified. God the Father glorified Christ
for four reasons that are stated right here in verse 12. Here's
the first reason. Verse 12 says, Because he hath
poured out his soul unto death. That's the first reason. Because
he poured out his soul unto death. Here's the second reason. And
he was numbered with the transgressors. And he was numbered with the
transgressors. Here's the third reason. And
he bare the sins of many. He bare the sins of many. Here's
the fourth. And made intercession for the
transgressors. These are different things that
we're talking about here. See that word and? He's telling
us these are different things He did. He poured out His soul
unto death, and He was numbered with the transgressors, and He
bare the sin of many, and He made intercession for the transgressors. Now here's the main point. This
is what I want you to get from this. I want you to see here
that this teaches us that the glory of Christ as the Son of
Man, you know in the Scripture when He would talk about Now
is the Son of Man glorified. He didn't say the Son of God,
because He's God, the Son. He had glory with the Father.
He said, but now is the Son of Man glorified, because He's a
mediator. He's working this work for His
people. And this work being finished as the promise of the Father,
I want you to see here that He's glorified as our Savior because
of His connection with sin and sinners in this world for the
accomplishment of redemption. He made himself one with his
people for the purpose of accomplishing our redemption. And by that,
he's made his people one with God. We don't realize how one
he's made us yet. And I'll tell you this, there's
not another religion in this world Because they're man-made. And there's not another religion
in this world that can come close to anything this wise and this
glorious. That God, who is Spirit, could
join Himself with humanity. And in doing so, bring humanity
to be joined with God. Now this is astounding wisdom
we're talking about here. He did this by making Himself
one with us. A man can't say, let no man say
Christ made redemption possible. Don't let any man say Christ
made salvation possible. Here's why. If He only made it
possible, if He only made it possible, He's not glorified. If He only made it possible,
He couldn't go to glory with God. If there's a possibility
that he didn't accomplish it, he failed altogether, and he
would not be in glory right now with God. But he is in glory. He is glorified. And because
he's glorified and working this work in the earth right now,
that tells you, brethren, he accomplished the work. Fully
accomplished it. He redeemed his people. Here's
how he did it. Number one, he had poured out
his soul unto death. Isaiah 53.12 God glorified him
because he poured out his soul unto death. Death is God's penalty
for sin. Death is God's penalty for sin. He told our first representative
man in the garden, he said this, Of the tree of the knowledge
of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it. That was his law. That was one law. Perfect garden,
man holy and upright, one law. You shall not eat of that tree.
And he said, for in the day that you eat thereof, in the day you
transgress my law, in the day you sin against me, you shall
surely die. And 1 Corinthians 15.22 says,
in Adam, all die. But because of God's sovereign
grace, because of His grace from eternity, brethren, That verse
doesn't end there. That verse says, even so, in
Christ shall all be made alive. Now let me help you with that.
When you read the word all in connection with Adam. When you
read the word all in connection with Adam. Adam is a representative
man. That word all in reference to
Adam means all who Adam represented who all shall be born of Adam's
corruptible seed. All who he represented legally,
who all shall be also born of his corruptible seed. That's
everybody because we all came from Adam. That word all is all-inclusive. It means everybody. When you
read the word all in connection with Christ, all shall be made
alive in Christ. When you read that word all in
connection with Christ, you and I, if we got any common sense,
know that does not mean everybody. It can't mean everybody. It can't. Alright, look. When you read
the word all in connection with Christ, it refers to all whom
Christ represented, legally represented, who shall all be born of Christ's
incorruptible seed. They'll all be born again of
Christ's incorruptible seed. That is all God's elect that
He chose in Christ from eternity. Now here's why we state that. Here's why we preach divine election. Here's why we preach it. Because
when Christ came into this earth as a representative man, representing
the people God gave Him before the world was made, when Christ
went to the cross, He poured out His soul unto death. Because there was no other way,
absolutely no other way for our sins to be put away. He went
to the cross as the substitute of His people. The substitute
of His people. He did so bearing the just and
righteous penalty of our sins. Christ's death in place of His
people. Let me say it again. This was the only way that our
sins could be put away. The scripture says, without shedding
of blood is no remission. Now, get what that says. If there
is bloodshed, there is remission. There is remission. But without
it, there is none. Now let me give you three things
about Christ's death. Number one, it was not an accident. It was on purpose. It was deliberate. It was determined before the
foundation of the world. When Christ entered covenant
and surety ship agreement with the Father to lay down His life
for those the Father gave Him, He struck hands right there and
it was determined He would go to that cross. He's the Lamb
slain from the foundation of the world. The Scripture says
all those that crucified him were gathered together to do
whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.
That's in Acts 4.28. Here's the second thing about
his death. It was a real death. It was a
real death. He really suffered. He really
bled. He really died. The Scripture
says here he poured out his soul unto death. He really died. His body lay in a tomb until
the third day. He died. He died. And here's the third thing. It
was voluntary. He poured out his soul unto death. He poured it out. In John 10,
17, he said, Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay
down my life, that I might take it again. No man takes it from
me. He said, No man takes it from me. I lay it down on myself.
I have power to lay it down. I have power to take it again.
This commandment I received of my Father. This is what the Father
sent Him to do. Somebody said to me, I can't
believe the God that you preach because I believe God is love.
Is there any greater love than what I'm declaring to you now?
Is there any greater love than this love I'm declaring to you?
Christ said, greater love hath no man than this, that a man
lay down his life for his friends. For his friends. The problem
sinners have is he calls on sinners to lay down their life. That's
the problem. That's the problem. To lay down
the life that we think we've accomplished by our depraved
will. To lay down the life that we think we've accomplished by
our so-called righteousnesses. The problem sinners have is that
my gospel declares that those that God loves, He loves in Christ. He loves them in Christ. And
He loves them everlastingly. He loves them everlastingly. Those that God loves, He laid
down His life for them. Those that God loves, He redeemed. those that God loves, He calls
out of darkness into His light, making them to be born again,
giving them faith and repentance and saving them effectually in
Christ Jesus. And He won't lose any of them.
He will not lose a one. There's no greater love than
that, brethren. A love that saves. A love that
tells you, this is how I'm going to save, and then comes and does
what He said He was going to do. There's no greater love than
that. The problem's not with my gospel.
The problem's not with the God of love that I preach, the true
and living God. That's not the problem. The problem
is with man's depraved notion of God's love. That's the problem.
God's got to show us, He's got to reveal this in our hearts,
or we just don't understand it. We think God's a monster. You
think about this. What men are saying is they think
that... There's an article in your bulletin by Brother Darwin.
Election is not God passing by people who are good. Election
is not God passing by people who wanted to be saved. There's
none that seeketh God, the Scripture says. They're all together...
There's none righteous. None. Election is God saving
sinners from ourselves. Election is God opening the door
and bringing sinners to glory with Him. That's what election
is. And the problem is not that men don't understand predestination
and election and those things. You hear men say, that's just
too complicated. No, that's not the problem. It's not that you
don't understand it. The problem is you do. That's
the problem. and you don't like it. This is
God. Why don't you like what God does?
I like everything God does. I don't have a problem with anything
God does. Nothing. So the first reason
Christ entered His glory as the God-man is because He poured
out His soul unto death. I've got to hurry. Here's the
second reason. Verse 12. And He was numbered
with the transgressors. Now our Holy Redeemer was not
a transgressor. He was not a transgressor. In
1 John 3 verse 4 it says, Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth
also the law, for sin is the transgression of the law. He
never transgressed the law, he never sinned, he couldn't sin,
he had no sin, he did no sin, he was separate from sinners.
He's the only man born of a woman of whom it could be said he was
separate from sinners. He's holy and separate from sinners.
And yet it says here he was numbered with the transgressors. First
of all, by the tongue of men who slandered him while he walked
this earth, who accused him of sin, who accused him of being
a transgressor. That was the first way. And then
secondly, by the earthly courts of so-called justice. We sentenced
him to death. We accused him of being guilty
and sentenced him to death. And then three, by his willing,
constant association with transgressors like us. the Pharisees and the
scribes. They were of that church, you
know, where there are no sinners in this church. That's what the
scribes and the Pharisees were. They were the church where nobody
in this church is a sinner. Everybody in this church is holy
and righteous. No sinners in this church. And
they looked at Christ and they said, this man receives sinners
and he eats with them. Aren't you glad? Aren't you glad? I'm so thankful he does. I'm
very thankful he does. And he looked at them and he
said, it says, when Jesus heard it, he said unto them, they that
are whole have no need of a physician, but they that are sick. There
are no hospitals made for well people. He said, those that are
whole don't have a need of a physician, but those that are sick. And
he said, I didn't come to call righteous people. I came to call
sinners. dead dog, black hearted, no good,
no willing, no seeking, no able ability whatsoever. Them kind
of sinners. That's who he came to call. You just imagine somebody
so holy as Christ, knowing no sin, walking amongst sinners,
amongst transgressors, that just all they do is sin. And here's
one that knows no sin, and he's walking amongst sinners like
us. I tell you, if it was possible, I tell you what just the flip
side of that would be. It would be just as sorrowful
and just as shameful and just as uncomfortable if you and me
right now, the way we are, could go into God's presence. It'd
be just that in reverse because we're sinners and God's holy. He's holy and He came and dwelt
among sinners. Here's another way He was numbered
with transgressors, and this is something we're very thankful
for. He was numbered with transgressors in the courts of divine justice.
God forsook Him on the cursed tree because He numbered Him
with the transgressors. Scripture says, Is it nothing
to you, all ye that pass by? Right now you're passing by. Right now we're passing by. Christ
on the cross. And I'm trying to get you to
look at Christ on the cross. Is this nothing to you? Is this
nothing to you? See if there's any sorrow like
unto my sorrow, he said, which is done unto me. What makes it
so sorrowful? What makes it beyond any other
kind of sorrow whatsoever? He says, wherewith the Lord,
wherewith God, wherewith His Father, wherewith the just Judge
of heaven and earth hath afflicted me in the day of His fierce anger. That's what makes Christ's humility,
His condescension, and His obedience. It's what makes His obedience
just shine so brilliantly in that darkness on the cross is
that while He was numbered with the transgressor, while God turned
His back on His Son, Scripture says He was obedient even unto
the death of the cross. Have you ever gotten to the point,
I ask you to be honest, have you ever gotten to the point
to where you thought, suffered so much that you thought What
is the point? What is the point? He never doubted God. He never had a thought enter
his mind that God would not make good on that promise He made
to him. He's faithful. So this is the
second reason. He entered into His glory. He
was numbered with the transgressors. But now let me ask you this.
How could God justly number Christ with the transgressors when He
knew no sin? When He was not a transgressor,
how could He number Him with the transgressors justly? Here's
the third reason God glorified Him. Verse 12. And He bare the
sin of many. He bare the sin of many. In order
for the just judge to justly number Christ with the transgressors,
he had to bear the sin of many. He had to bear the sin of many.
Verse 6 says this. All we... Here's that all again. This is all who Christ represented.
All we like sheep have gone astray. We've turned everyone to his
own way. That's us. That's us. How do
I know this is those for whom Christ died? Here's how I know.
The Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. The Lord laid on him our iniquity. He laid on him. Verse 11, he
says there, By his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify
many, for he shall bear their iniquity. 2 Corinthians 5.21
says, For he hath made him to be sin for us who knew no sin,
that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. This was the only
way that Christ could have justly been wounded and bruised. The
only way he could have justly been wounded and bruised. It
was the only way Christ could have died. He knew no sin. He couldn't have died unless
He bare the sin of many. The spotless Lamb of God, the
just One, presented Himself without spot to God. He went to the Garden
of Gethsemane without spot and presented Himself to God. And
the Lord laid on Him the iniquity of many. And He bare the sin
of many. And he was numbered with the
transgressors. And he was wounded for our transgressions. Wounded for our transgressions. And bruised for our iniquities. And he poured out his soul unto
death. He didn't die simply because
he was a human. He didn't die simply because
he took a human nature. That's not why he died. That's
why he died. He knew no sin. He died because
he bare the sin of many. He wasn't merely a martyr, brethren. He wasn't merely a martyr. He
was our sin-bearing substitute. It wasn't just merely an exhibition
of love. It could not have been an exhibition
of love except it was an exhibition of divine justice being satisfied
for those He loved. Now that's an exhibition of love.
When He's satisfying divine justice for those He loved, that's an
exhibition of love. But if He's just dying for nobody
in particular, and dying for nobody's sin in particular, and
just making salvation possible, That's not even an exhibition
of justice. So that he gets punished, justice
is poured out on him, and then turn around and pour justice
out again on somebody for whom he died? That's not even an exhibition
of justice. That's just some poor, corrupt,
polluted, depraved imagination spewing out venom against God's
Word. That's all that is. Get this,
brethren, our great scapegoat, just like that scapegoat bore
the sins of the people and took it away into the wilderness in
type, in picture, in ceremony. Our Lord Jesus Christ literally,
really bore the sins of His people away into the grave. He went into the grave. He bore
them into the land not inhabited. And get this, brethren, God rolled
the stone upon the grave of our sins, never to remember them
again. God locked our curse away in
the cursed ground of the grave. And He says, I won't remember
them again. But it doesn't end there. It doesn't stop there.
Look at this fourth reason Christ is exalted to His glory. And
He made intercession for the transgressors. I know, I understand
what the Scriptures say. I know that our Savior made intercession
for the transgressors when He literally prayed while He walked
this earth. I realize that. He said of Peter,
I've prayed for you that your faith fail not. That was Him
making intercession for Peter. He made intercession for the
transgressors in John 17, 9. Let me show you that. John 17,
9. This is Christ praying. This
is God in human flesh Himself, the mediator, praying. And in
John 17, verse 9, He says, I pray for them. I pray not for the
world. I pray not for the world, but
for them which Thou hast given Me, for they are Thine. And he
says a little bit later there, he says, and I pray for them
which, verse 20, neither I pray for these alone, but for them
also which shall believe on me through their word. He prayed
for the transgressors, that's who the transgressors are. He
said, I pray not for the world, I pray for them that you have
given me. That's the transgressors. That's
who He's talking about here. He made intercession for them
when He literally prayed. He made intercession for the
transgressors from the cross when He literally uttered the
words, Father, forgive them, they know not what they do. But
what about the intercession with no words? As His blood flowed from His
wounds. You reckon that made interception?
As He died that living death on the cross. as He conquered
death by His death? Was not His suffering unto death,
was not His bleeding wounds, was not His dying the death of
death so that His people would be freed from that? Was not that
Him making one great supplication unto our God? When I read, He
made intercession for the transgressors, I don't see Christ in the act
of praying. I don't see Him in the act of
interceding for His people. I see Him accomplishing the end
of supplication. I see Him accomplishing the end.
He made intercession for the transgressors. He made intercession
for the transgressors. He did it by hanging on the cross
between us and God. He made intercession for the
transgressors. I don't read this. If any man
sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ who
prays the Father. I read if any man sin, we have
an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. His
very presence with God is intercession for His people. His very presence
with God, He made intercession and He is the propitiation for
our sin. Justice now. Now listen to me. because he bore justice for his
people. He bore justice for a particular
people for all of their sins, for every one of each individual
sinner's sins for whom he died. Now justice, that same justice
demands that they can never ever be charged with one sin ever
again. That's a successful Savior. That's
a successful Redeemer. That's a Savior that didn't make
it possible. That's a Savior that got it done. And that, my
friends, if God ever gets you with that, you'll say, oh, I've
never heard anything that good in my life. That's good, brethren. Now that's a loving, saving God. And He comes to us and He reveals
this in us and He makes us to behold, He is our righteousness. He is our righteousness. He's
fulfilled the law for us. If you can't be charged with
a sin, if you can't be charged with one transgression, that
means He fulfilled the law for you. It means He put away your
sin. And that's what God said. Who
shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It's God that
justified us. It's Christ that interceded for
us. And one day He's going to take
us home. Now, He's made us righteous right now. And He's made us righteousness
in the inner man. But one day He's going to take
us to glory and we're going to be made totally, completely,
fully the righteousness of God. Now, here's my main point again.
Let's go back to that. The glory of Christ that He was
glorified with as the Son of Man was accomplished because
He connected Himself with our sin and with those sinners that
God chose in this world. for the accomplishment of our
redemption. Now let me give you a few things
before I go. You see how one Christ made himself with us?
Do you see how one that he made himself with us that he might
make his people one with him? Now, will you not come out of
darkness? Will you stay in darkness because
your deeds are evil? I'm not talking about getting
drunk. I'm not talking about whoring around. I'm talking about
those deeds of going in a church and saying and pretending like
you're righteous by something you've done. I'm talking about
those deeds of going up to the preacher and shaking his hand
while you know in your heart of hearts who you are and what
you've done. God does too. God does too. I'm talking about I'm talking about coming clean
with God and your own self. That's what I'm talking about.
Come out from this world seeing how He identified Himself with
His people. Will you not identify yourself
with Him? Well, I did. I gave my hand to Jesus. I'm
not talking about that helpless, impotent little pygmy of a God.
I'm talking about God. I'm talking about identifying
yourself with this God. This is what He said. He said,
now is the Son of Man glorified. And God is glorified in Him.
And if God be glorified in Him, God shall also glorify Him in
Himself and shall straightway glorify Him. And then He said
this in John 17. Go back there real quick. I'm
about finished. I just want you to see this now.
This right here is going to float your boat. Look here at John
17. Look at verse 10. Now He said, the Son of Man is
glorified, God is glorified in Him, and if God is glorified
in Him, God is going to glorify Him in Himself. In other words,
He is going to fulfill His promise and glorify me because I am glorifying
God. Now look at what He says in John
17, 10. All mine are thine, and thine are mine. He is speaking
to the Father. All yours, Father, are mine.
All mine are yours, and all yours are mine. And I am glorified
in them. In other words, if my glory is
going to be full, it's going to be because they're all going
to be saved now. They're all going to be saved. And if they're
all going to be saved, He's going to have to be raised so He can
divide those smalls from the strong. And He says here in verse
24, Father, this is what He wants now for what He's done, Father,
I will that they also whom Thou hast given Me be with Me where
I am, that they may behold My glory. which thou hast given
me, for you love me from the foundation of the world. Now
go to Romans 8 real quick. Go to Romans 8. Now, our text
is telling us God raised him because God satisfied. God made
good on that promise. He made him Lord of lords and
King of kings and he shall divide the spoiled from the strong.
Now look at what he says right here. Romans 8, 17 says, and
if your children If you've been born of God and you've been brought
to bow to this Lord right here, to this Christ, if your children
If we be then your heirs, your heirs of God and your joint heirs
with Christ, if so be that we suffer with Him. If we continue
trusting Him alone, be not turned back to the law, be not turned
back to will working, and be not turned back to the rudiments
of this flesh. If we really believe I'm dead in Christ, my life,
my real life is hid in Christ with God. If I really believe
that and trust Him to the end, look at what He says. We may
be also glorified together with Him. Now that's not his essential
glory as God, and that's not his mediatorial glory that we've
been talking about. That is, this is the glory that
the Father has given Him for His people. We're going to be
glorified in Christ, we're going to be glorified by Christ, and
we're going to be glorified with Christ when we see Him as He
is and we're made the righteousness of God in Him. And we're going
to dwell with Him for all eternity. totally satisfied. And you know
what we're going to be doing that whole time? We're going
to be doing what we've been trying to do in this earth. This whole
time we've been gathering together, we've been trying to get little
glimpses of His glory. And every now and then, He'll
give us a little glimpse of His glory. And that GLO, that glow
of that glory just fills your heart with light and fills your
inner man with light. And you feel like you could just
go to glory with Him right now. But we just see a little bit
of it. And that day, We're going to
stand there and see Him in that glory, resplendent like we can't
even imagine. It's such a magnificent thing.
It's going to transform us into His likeness just by looking
at Him. And we're going to stand there
all the rest of our days glorying in Him. What about the mansions? That's my mansion. What about
the riches? That's my riches. What about
gold? They paved the streets with that junk. We're talking
about glory, brother. but uh... mack larry uh... what a good
