Thank you, Brother Paul. Judy
and I and our daughter, Judy, and our son-in-law, Chuck, were
at Rocky Mountain last weekend at the conference there. And so many different ones said,
please send their love and their greetings. And I couldn't remember
names if they had told me their names. But anyway, I want to
convey to you the love and the warm affection the saints there
in Rock-a-Mountain have for your pastor, his wife, and this whole
congregation. And we enjoyed it. We missed you, but we enjoyed
being there. It was a long trip. I didn't
realize it was that far. We sure heard some good messages.
Missed Brother David and his Sunday school lesson and his
message, but we enjoyed our visit there and got to see Henry and
Doris Mahan before he had his fall. He broke his hip and is
recovering from that, but we did get to see him and Doris
and it was such a rich blessing. I echo Paul's words of Happy
Mother's Day to all you mothers. May the Lord continue to bless
those of you who love Him and have children that God has given
you. I want to draw your attention
to the first chapter of Colossians, if you would like to turn there
with me please. I've titled this message, The
Divine Order of God. While we were down on Rocky Mountain
I shared with our daughter Judene and her husband Chuck. An event that happened to me
and several members of the crew of the ship that I was on when
I was in the Navy back in the early 60s. I was aboard an amphibious
assault ship, an LSD. We embarked Marines and we had
mic boats. The fantail of the ship would
sink and the Marines would be aboard the mic boats and drive
out and hit the beaches. And we were practicing these
war games down in the Caribbean. And we were steaming from one
island to another. It was after dark. And The office
where I worked was on the main deck about 60 feet above the
waterline, and the Marines were in compartments below us, and
we had the portholes open because it was
hot, and it sounded like someone was in the water crying out for
help. Help! Help! Came up through our
porthole, and one of My co-workers grabbed the phone and called
the bridge and said, man overboard, man overboard. And quickly, and
we practiced these rescue operations, but this was not a practice session,
this was the real thing. Just immediately, as soon as
that word got to the bridge, the navigator marked a spot on
the map where we were. The captain, or not the captain,
but the officer in charge of the bridge gave instructions
to the helmsman how to turn the ship around. The public address system let everybody
aboard the ship know that there was a man overboard and everybody,
as far as the crew is concerned, knew where they were to go and
what to do. Even the Marines were to muster
or get a roll call to find out who was missing. They had to
have men to man the lifeboats, had to be an operator of that
lifeboat, a phone talker, talk to the bridge. A couple of marksmen
in case there were shark-infested waters with rifles aboard the
lifeboats. Several of the lifeboats were
to be manned. It was dark so they had to have
floodlights shining out in the waters. It was quite an operation,
and it went as smoothly as any practice session, maybe better.
This was the real thing. Well, Some of the Marines in
the compartment below us were skylarking, and we thought it
was a man overboard. After they received the muster
and had roll call, there was nobody missing. Well, the co-worker
that called the bridge, he tried to apologize, and our captain
told him, don't you dare apologize for that. You did what you thought
was right. and he commended, the captain
commended the whole crew for how fast we responded to that
rescue call, and he said had there been a man overboard in
all probability we would have rescued him. And so it was a
good drill if nothing else, and I share that with you to share
this. If we can be impressed and a
little amazed at a man-made operation where 200 crewmen can come together
after practicing these rescue operations, come together so
quickly and so precisely, how much more should we be amazed
at God's perfect plan of salvation for His chosen people, how He,
our Lord Jesus Himself, puts everything in operation. He orchestrates all things, executes
all things for the salvation of those He purchased with His
own precious blood. Nothing happens, will you hear
me? Nothing happens apart from God's
permissive will. He works all things after the
counsel of His own will. There are no accidents, there's
no such thing as misfortune, or lady luck, or mother nature. Christians don't have anything
to do with those three ladies. God's in control of everything,
and He's going to be in control of everything throughout all
eternity, the rest of the time that this earth is going to be
here, for the salvation of His chosen blood-bought people. I'm
telling you the truth, that's what this Word teaches, and God's
preachers are to take our hearers right through the scriptures
showing these blessed truths for the glory of our God as we
have the honor of proclaiming His blessed gospel truths and
this is an honor that God has bestowed upon me. I tell our
pastor that often I don't take it lightly when you ask me to
fill in for you while you're gone And so, I want to walk us
through the first 14 verses of this first chapter of Colossians. I won't have time to cover all
of them this morning, but Brother David has asked me to preach
again the 26th of this month. That's not next Sunday, but the
following Sunday. And Lord willing, I will finish
up this these first 14 verses during that worship service.
Paul introduces himself in verse 1 by saying, Paul an apostle
of Jesus Christ by the will of God and Timotheus our brother. Now Paul was not looking for
titles, God's preachers do not do that, but there were those who were enemies of the gospel
who tried to undermine Paul, claiming that he wasn't an apostle,
that he didn't walk with the Lord Jesus during his public
ministry, which is true. But Paul was called to be an
apostle and he quickly states that it was by the will of God.
Now I preached not too long ago on Paul being a pattern of salvation
to everyone who believes. And we, if you remember, looked
at the scriptures in the book of Acts where Paul was not seeking
the Lord Jesus. He was a self-righteous Pharisee
trying to destroy Christianity, trying to destroy those who claim
to be followers of Christ. And He hated Christ and followers
of Christ so much that he had gotten some letters from the
high priest giving him permission to persecute the church. But
he is quick to let us know, let the saints in his age know, and
everyone who reads the Holy Scriptures with the mind of Christ to know
that he was an apostle, an apostle. He doesn't call himself Reverend
Paul. He doesn't say Dr. Paul. He doesn't
even say Apostle Paul. He puts the word Apostle after
his name and that's rightly so. We're servants of the Most High
God and the term servant is a title that all of God's enlightened
children are just proud to be called a servant, a servant. And he mentions Timothy and he calls him our brother
giving him honor. Timothy was not an apostle but
he was a preacher of the gospel and he was with Paul. Now Paul
wrote this epistle while he was in prison at Rome around 60 AD
and Timothy was there with him, not in prison himself, but encouraging
Paul and spending some time with him. Then Paul in verse 2 addresses
the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which were at Colossae
and he says, Grace be unto you and peace from God our Father
and the Lord Jesus Christ. And so these saints These saints
and the faithful brethren are one and the same. They're not
separate. All of God's enlightened saints
are faithful brethren. We might not think so in our
own mind because of our weaknesses, but all of God's children who
are called out of darkness by the life-giving power of God
the Holy Spirit and the preaching of his gospel, all are faithful. faithful brethren. We all have
the same Heavenly Father. We all are brothers and sisters
in Christ. We love the Lord Jesus Christ
and our earnest sincere desire is to glorify Him. This is what
God puts in every one of us. We're not We're not going to
turn away from the responsibility that's ours to repent and get
baptized and be members of a gospel preaching church and come as
often as we can supporting the gospel with our prayers, our
monies, our gifts, our talents. This is what we do. Those who
are indifferent and have no use for those down at the church
where the gospel is preached have never been enlightened by
God the Holy Spirit. But God lets us know that His
saints are faithful brethren that He has placed in the body
of Christ for the glory of Jesus Christ our Savior. And the saints,
like I said a moment ago, and the faithful brethren are one
and the same. As Brother Henry Mahan said in
his Bible class commentary, he said, all believers are saints,
and all believers are faithful brethren. We are sanctified by
the Father, the Son, and the Spirit. We are brethren because,
firstly, we have the same Father. Secondly, we are in one body
and family. And thirdly, we have all one
elder brother, Christ Jesus. The key word is in Christ. We are saints and brethren because
we are in Christ." End of quote. Now in the second verse, Paul
says, Grace be unto you and peace from God our Father and the Lord
Jesus Christ. at his own appointed time under
the preaching of his gospel God's sovereign grace is bestowed upon
all those who were purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ
at God's own appointed time. Sometimes we have such a desire
for loved ones to embrace Christ that we try to run ahead of God. We can't do that. Only God can
make his word effectual. Our desire in having our loved
ones embrace Christ as their Lord and Savior will never happen
until God himself makes his word effectual in the hearts of those
who are still in darkness. But if they're God's chosen people,
if Christ purchased them with His precious blood, grace will
be bestowed upon them. That's what Larry was bringing
out in his lesson this morning in Sunday school. It was such
a good lesson. Noah found grace in the eyes
of the Lord, and he was just as guilty as the rest of those
people who had such an ungodly heart that they were evil continually. That's all of us, all of us. You know let me share this with
you. It's hard to get this truth across to people who have not
been regenerated by God the Holy Spirit. Matter of fact it's impossible
that we deserve nothing but God's eternal
wrath. There's none good, no not one. We grow up getting rewarded for doing good. When we're little babies and
we start learn what our legs are for, and start walking. We
get applauded by our parents, by our grandparents, by loved
ones who are adults, and hugged, and given such an idea in our
minds of being rewarded for doing that. We continue wanting to
get rewarded. We go to school, parents, grandparents
give money, for every A that we get. We have six children. If they were all straight A students,
that would be pretty expensive for us. But they weren't. A couple of other children were.
But we learn to be rewarded for the good that we're doing. We
get out of school, we graduate, we get into the workforce, we
find out that if we're really ambitious, If we do good in the
work that we're doing, we'll get promoted. So we grow up with
this in our minds that doing good is going to be rewarded. And so we think that God will
reward us for the good that we do. The only problem is there's
no good that we do. Our motive is wrong. I'm not
saying we're immoral. I'm not saying that people in
this world who don't have the spirit of Christ dwelling in
them don't do good things or considered an asset to the community
that they live in. But it's not good in God's eyes. There's nothing good in us because
when we do good in our unregenerate state, our motive is wrong. It's not for the glory of Jesus
Christ. It's for recognition on our own part. and so we just
find ourselves in need of God's grace and brethren listen grace
still means unmerited favor you cannot earn God's grace you cannot
purchase God's grace He bestows His grace upon whomsoever He
is pleased to bestow His grace and Paul says grace be unto you
and peace. There's no peace apart from grace. There's no peace saith my God
to the wicked. All self-righteous religionists
are wrapped up in their own way of trying to gain favor with
God and they have no peace. They fabricate peace, but they
have no real peace with God. Jesus Christ is our peace, amen. He is. He's our peace with God,
and He gives that peace, but grace comes first. Verses three
through five reads this way, we give thanks to God and the
Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, since
we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which
you have to all the saints for the hope which is laid up for
you in heaven wherever you heard before in the word of the truth
of the gospel so this grace and peace comes from God our father
and the Lord Jesus Christ and Paul knows that he's writing
under divine inspiration and so he gives thanks. He says we give thanks to God
and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ praying always for you
since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and the love
that you have to all the saints. Now why didn't he? Why didn't
Paul tell the Colossians, we are so thankful to you that you
were smart enough to make a decision for Jesus. That you exercise
your free will in order for God to have mercy on you. Why didn't
he say that? Because that's a lie right out
of the pit. And those who believe that are just as blinded in their
religious stupor as any unregenerate person who's never darkened the
door of a church. It's just false religion, that's
all it is. But when we know that grace and
peace comes from God our Father through the merits of Christ
alone, we know who to give thanks to. All things are of God, all
things. and this salvation that he gives
to his chosen people through what Christ has done for them comes from God and only from
God. Salvation is of the Lord. He planned it, he sent his son
to this world pay the redemption price for those he chose in Christ
before the foundation of the world. He purposed it and he
bestows his grace and his mercy on those that Christ himself
redeemed with his own precious blood. What a God, where he could
come up with a plan to be a deliverer of his people where he can be
just and justifier of all who believe and it's all in perfect
order God is a God of order and he's doing all of this did you
know this world was created to make a place for God's elect
to survive until he calls them out of darkness and takes them
home at their own appointed time Everything, everything that happens
is for the glory of Jesus Christ and for the good of His people.
And God is ordering all things for that very purpose. So, Paul
says, we give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, praying always for you. They were impulse prayers. We pray one for another. We pray
for our pastor. We pray for those who are meeting
in different places. When we hear, and I gave some
thought to this the other day, and it is so true. I don't get
excited when I hear about a Billy Graham crusade. But I get excited
when I hear about a work that has started up with the grace
of God and His glorious gospels preached by a man that God has
called for that very purpose. I get excited when I hear about
those who are meeting in different places, worshiping our great
triune God in spirit and in truth. And this is what Paul is saying,
we started praying for you since we heard of your faith in Christ
and your love to all the saints. Paul had never been to Colossae. They had never seen his face.
but he heard about the work that was established probably by Epaphras. We don't know that for sure either,
but he heard about this work and their love to all the saints
and he just prayed for those people giving thanks to God for
them. He says, this love which you
have to all the saints is worthy of notice. Don't we love one
another? Of course we do. We love Christ
because he first loved us. And he said this to his disciples,
by this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have
love one for another. Now I love my mama, I love my
daddy, I love my brothers and sisters. That love is natural. But this love that God puts in
our hearts and the love of God is shared abroad in our hearts
by God the Holy Spirit. This love will manifest itself
by our love for each other. It's not hypocritical. It's not fabricated. It just
flows. And God Himself is the one who
gives us this love for one another. So verses 3 through 5 tells us
that this love is given to us and is made known by others around
us because of God's work in our
lives. Then Paul mentions the hope.
He says, since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of
the love which you have to all the saints, for the hope which
is laid up for you in heaven where have you heard before in
the word of the truth of the gospel. Brethren, Jesus Christ
is our only hope. Christ in us, the hope of glory. But this hope that Paul is talking
about in verse 5 is the hope that's laid up for us in heaven.
Christ is in glory. He is our hope. But our hope
of being with Him is laid up for us. That's eternal life.
We believe God. He promises every believer that
not only are our sins forgiven and we heard in the scripture
reading in the men's meeting this morning from Isaiah chapter
40 Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith you God." Tell
her, her warfare is accomplished, she's received double, double
for all her sin. We not only receive a full pardon
from God, I mean not one thing can be laid to the charge of
God's elect because of the perfect redeeming work of Christ our
Savior, but we receive the spirit of adoption we're God's children. He has sent the spirit of his
son into our hearts crying Abba Father. That's the spirit of
God crying Abba Father that he sends into our hearts. We don't,
we don't have anything to do with that. That's God's word,
and so we receive the spirit of adoption. God predestinated
us unto the spirit of adoption. Brethren, that's a wonderful
God who would let us know that He loves us with an everlasting
love. Therefore, with loving kindness,
He draws us unto Himself. He called us under the preaching
of His gospel. This is what Paul says in the
last part of verse 5. You heard before in the word
of the truth of the gospel promising us eternal life. if our faith
is in Jesus Christ and only in Jesus Christ. And we hear that
out of the preaching of the gospel. I told Paul Mahan just this last
weekend, I drive hundreds of miles to hear somebody preach
the true gospel, but I wouldn't walk across the street to hear
Billy Graham, and I'm telling you the truth. He dishonors my
Lord Jesus with his false doctrine. Believing in universal redemption,
the universal love of God, and telling people that God has done
all he can, the rest is up to you. You must exercise your free
will. That's not the gospel. The gospel
is this. Jesus Christ came into this world
to save sinners, of whom I am chief. And that's why they call
His name Jesus. For He shall save His people
from their sins. And He did that. He didn't try
to save anybody. God never tries to do anything.
Anybody who would use that term that God is trying to do something,
do not know the sovereign God that we worship. He's working
all things like I said earlier after the counsel of his own
will, and he doesn't ask your permission, he doesn't ask my
permission, he doesn't ask anybody's permission. He does what pleases
him, and Paul said this, when it pleased God who separated
me from my mother's womb and called me by his grace to reveal
his son in me. The spirit of Christ is already
in us when we cry out for mercy. Salvation is God's doings. God saves his people. He saved
us back at Calvary 2,000 years ago and he delivers us from darkness
under the preaching of his gospel at His own appointed time, which
we'll look at. Look at verse 13. We'll look
at this a couple of weeks from now. Speaking of God the Father,
giving thanks to Him, says, Who hath delivered us from the power
of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear
Son. So it's God who does that. and
He's worthy of all praise and honor and glory. God Himself
is the one who has delivered us and we do give Him all the
praise and all the glory. I think I'm going to cut this
a little short, but let me share this with you. When we hear this
glorious hope of eternal life with Jesus Christ and eternal
glory which is laid up for us in heaven, we have heard these
wonderful truths concerning where we are. All of God's chosen people
are in Christ. We've been in Christ from the
foundation of the world, before the world was ever created, way
back in old eternity. God the Father chose us in Christ
He purposed our salvation. We read in 2 Timothy 1.9 that
God has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according
to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which
was given us in Christ Jesus before the world again. Our God
is a covenant God. He chose a people, promised them
to Jesus Christ, His darling Son, conditional upon what Jesus
Christ would do for us when God sent Him to this sin-cursed world
to do His will. And He did God's will perfectly. And when He said it is finished,
the work of redemption was finished, Jesus Christ sealed our pardon
with His own precious blood. So we're in Christ. There's a
scripture in Romans 8-1 that says, there is therefore now
no condemnation, no judgment to them which are in Christ Jesus.
We better thank God that we're in Him. How can there be any
judgment for those who are in Christ? In Christ we don't have
any sin. Does that bless you? It does
me. Jesus Christ by Himself purged my sins. He obtained eternal
redemption for me. Nothing can be laid to the charge
of God's elect. So how can there be any judgment
against God's people? Can't be judged if we don't have
any sin. I don't have any sin. I'm telling
you the truth. I believe this. I believe God's
Word. And if we're in Christ Jesus,
listen to this. We heard about this hope under
the preaching of the true gospel of God's amazing grace through
the merits of Christ alone. And by God-given faith, we have
embraced the glorious truths concerning Jesus Christ and His
gospel. And this hope that's ours is
like an anchor of the soul, both steadfast and sure. Brethren,
it's God Himself. who's given us this hope. And
this word hope is not like the word we use from our English
dictionary. We might say to loved ones, I
hope to see you during the Christmas holiday. That's not what this
word hope means. This word hope in our text is
as sure as God Himself. And He reveals this to us. A
hope that is seen is not hope. Those who have gone on before
us, faith has given way to sight, and hope is gone. They've entered into the real
thing. So when we see Christ in all of His glory, then it
won't be hope. But right now, it's hope that's
as sure as God himself. We don't doubt. We have no doubts. And if we're in Christ, God himself
chose us in Christ, and we're in him. for all eternity, and
He's in us for all eternity. What a wonderful God! How much
more should we, who are enlightened by the Holy Spirit, be drawn
to this God and His glorious gospel, giving Him all the worship
and all the praise and all the honor and all the glory that's
due His name. Now, I've titled this message,
The Divine Order of God. and everything God does is according
to His eternal purpose. So let me give you a personal
testimony of God's divine order in bringing me and my wife into
a living union with Jesus Christ our Lord and our Savior. and
every one of you who've been enlightened by God the Holy Spirit
you all have personal testimonies of God's divine order and how
he delivered you from darkness how he brought you into this
living union with the true and living God Jesus Christ the Lord.
Years ago my wife when I met her was a piano player for a
little church just right below where she lived called Trinity
Baptist Church and she played the piano back then and she's
been playing the piano for worship services all the way up until
now and she still gets the honor of playing every once in a while.
Matter of fact, I talked to the pastor of Rescue Baptist Church
where I used to be just the other day and he said to tell Judy
that we're looking forward to having her play the piano during
our conference in July. You know what they're doing now?
They're using her taped music. So she's playing the piano in
the church there through a CD tape. But anyway, as I was dating
her, she belonged to a free will Armenian
church. She was lost in religion. She didn't have any idea of what
the true gospel is. But when we got married and for
10 years she left the church. I probably was the most responsible
person for that because I told her I'll never stand in your
way if you want to go to church, but please, don't get me involved,
that's not for me. But as I watched her, she, Judy,
my wife, was, in my opinion, what a Christian wife should
be. So ten years later, the Lord started dealing with me through
loved ones who professed to be Christians anyway, and I started
hearing things that I'd never heard before. I didn't know that
little baby that was born in the manger was God my creator,
I didn't know that. If anybody had ever told me that
I didn't hear it, it went in one ear and right out the other.
I didn't know God sent him to this earth and when he was born
of a virgin God commanded all of his holy angels to worship
that little baby. I didn't know that. I didn't
know God had sent him to this earth to do his will to establish
a perfect righteousness for me. I didn't know that. But I started
hearing these things and so I wanted to go to church. So naturally
I wanted to go where Judy used to go because I felt that she
was just exactly what a Christian wife should be. But here's the
beauty of this story I'm telling you. It's the truth. Between
the time Judy left the church and went wayward with me, And
the time we went back to visit that church, God had sent one
of his gospel preachers. It was no longer an Armenian
free will church. That man preached the gospel.
He's what we call a five-point Calvinist. He's still living.
He's in his eighties, but he's out in Montana somewhere. Anyway,
I started listening to him, and so did Judy. And she started
hearing the same things that I started hearing. Jesus Christ
the God-man, and He is the God-man. I'm telling you the truth. There's
no controversy. Without controversy, great is
the mystery of Godliness. God was manifest in the flesh.
I confess before you this morning, Jesus Christ is my Lord and my
God. He's God Almighty. He's God Almighty. He's Jehovah. He's running this
show. He's on His sovereign throne
of power right now. He was obedient unto death, even
the death of the cross. Wherefore, God has highly exalted
His darling Son, Jesus Christ the Lord, and has given Him a
name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every
knee should bow of things in heaven, things in earth, Things
under the earth and every tongue should confess that He is Lord
to the glory of God the Father. The only way we can glorify God
the Father is bow down to His Son and honor Him even as we
honor God the Father. I'm telling you the truth. This
religious generation today has no idea of the sovereign God
that's on His throne in glory, Jesus Christ my Lord, than they
have of a God that all of the false religionists bow down to. They don't know Him. But I started
hearing these things. And I started hearing that I
deserve nothing but God's wrath. And you know what? I believe
that. I agreed with God that my condition
was helpless and hopeless. Theologians call it total depravity. And that's a good term. I'm not
putting that down. But all of us need to know that
we've sinned against God and deserve nothing but His eternal
wrath. But the preacher didn't leave
me there. I was convicted. I had this understanding
that I sinned against God, and I needed to be thrown into hell. I believed that. But the preacher
started telling me that Jesus Christ, the God-man, not only
walked in perfect obedience establishing a perfect righteousness for all
of his people that's the only righteousness by the way that
God will accept he also told me that Jesus Christ this preacher
told me that Jesus Christ by himself purged my sins from God's
sight forever. That He took, Jesus Christ took
my sins upon Himself. That God made Him sin so that
He can make me the righteousness of Christ. I had never heard such good news
because God had broken my heart and made me aware that I deserve
nothing but his wrath. But I heard that Jesus Christ
bore God's wrath as my substitute. God poured out his unmitigated
wrath on his darling son so that I would be free from wrath to
come. And Judy started talking to me
as we left the church and as we spent time together discussing
the things that we heard. She said, I often wondered what
those verses meant, but the pastors I had never explained them to
me. Of course they didn't explain them because it just absolutely
destroyed their false doctrine of man's will and salvation,
not God's will. Did you know James came out strong
with these words, speaking of God, of his own will begat he
us with the word of truth. So God worked in our hearts,
and this is the divine order of God. How did I know? what
Calvinism is, or what Arminianism is, or what Pentecostalism is. I didn't know the difference
between the true gospel and any other doctrine that was false.
The true doctrine isn't false, but I didn't know the difference.
And so when The Lord delivered me. I started talking to my loved
ones who were in these Armenian free will churches, and started
talking to them about the grace of God, and they started scratching
their head. My brother went to his pastor,
and his pastor said he's teaching him wrong. Gene's pastor is teaching
him wrong. He'll lose his zeal within six
months. And my brother and a good friend
of ours said to their pastor, well we're going to go out and
straighten that pastor out. He said, oh no, I wouldn't do
that if I was you. I wouldn't do that. He'll tie
you up with scripture. Can you think of a better way
to be tied up? I believe this. Every word of
Holy Scripture is from God Himself. And he that is of God heareth
God's words. I want to be tied up with Scripture.
I want God to speak to me through His Word. And He tells us through
His Word by one offering. Don't miss this. By one offering
Jesus Christ sanctified His people. That's a big word that means
He set us apart, but it means more than that. It means He made
us holy. By His one offering, He made
His people holy. That's in the 10th chapter of
Hebrews. And right down in the 14th verse of that same chapter,
it says this, By one offering, He perfected forever them that
are sanctified. Has God spoken to you? Have you heard the voice, the
life-giving voice of Jesus Christ our Lord? Has He told you, you
have no hope without Me? And has He told you that in Me,
you have everything? In Christ, we have it all. Without Christ, we don't have
anything worthy of anything. come to Christ. Believe on Him
as He is plainly set forth on the pages of Holy Scripture,
and thou shalt be saved. Thank you. God bless you.
